If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost. More combos than you can shake a stick at. Hell, Imprinting Ponder onto it alone gives you a draw engine. Mana Drain, Recall, Edict, Giant Growth, Bolt, Terminate, Incinerate, Counterspell, Mana Leak, Visions of Beyond etc. Oh, Lightning Helix called.
