Ancient Practices (Please discuss)

The strongest thing you can summon with this is "Labyrinth Tank" which should act as:

A) A 2400 ATK beater
B ) Rank 7 fodder
C) Easy tuning into level 8 with "Effect Veiler"

Its too costless and it can be splashed into any Deck be it XYZ, Synchro or just outright beater Deck. "Instant Fusion" is way more limited than this card and has its share of restrictions and costs; unlike this card. However, Fusion Monsters are in the need for some support. Give it a 2000 LP cost I suppose.

[font=georgia,serif]I don't understand the hate towards this card (which should be renamed Ancient Practice, as you are only summoning one Fusion Monster per copy). I can understand the excess of Instant Fusion's restrictions, given the number of Effect Fusions that could be summoned and abused through it if it were any looser with said restrictions; but this card can only summon non-Effect Fusions, which for the most part are worthless analogues of Normal Monsters if taken out of context of Fusion Summoning (which is worthless on its own for obvious reasons).[/font]

You don't understand; this card is an INSTANT 2900 ATK beater. It is also a Special Summon, so you can still Normal Summon this turn; meaning:

A) Instant Tribute Fodder
B ) Instant Beater
C) Extremely Manipulable Synchro/XYZ fodder

This card deserves some sort of cost or restriction or else he should rewrite this card is technically a bunch of Monsters in 1 card.

[font=georgia,serif]Instant Fusion can also be used for the same purposes, and no one bats an eye. Of course the Fusion summoned by Ancient Practice could attack and stay beyond the End Phase, but I don't expect a monster to stay long on the field if the only thing it can boast to its name is its ATK.[/font]

[font=georgia,serif]However, I could see problems arising from two or three drawn copies of this card, so I'd suggest this amendment:[/font]
