Genetic Fusion Device

Activate 1 of the following effects:

Add 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand. Card effects cannot be activated in response to the activation of "Polymerization" or the summoning of a Fusion Monster summoned by "Polymerization", until the end phase.
Pay half your Life Points. Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. A monster special summoned with this effect cannot be targeted by card effects.

If you control a Level 4 or lower Fusion Monster: Draw 2 cards. If that Monster was Fusion Summoned with the effect of "Polymerization", draw 3 cards instead.

When this card is Fusion Summoned: Add 2 "Polymerization" cards from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand. Once per turn, you can reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and add 1 monster that is listed as a Fusion Material from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand. If this card leaves the Field: you can Special Summon 1 Non-effect Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).

Continuous Spell Card

While you control a face-up Level 4 or lower Fusion Monster: neither player can Special Summon synchro, XYZ, or monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Destroy this card during your 3rd standby phase after activation.

Mass Fusion Laboratory
Spell Card

Reveal any number of Level 4 or lower Fusion Monsters from your Extra Deck; Special Summon as many fusion materials listed from your Hand or Deck. You cannot enter your battle phase or activate other card effects except for "Polymerization" during this turn. During the end phase of this turn, destroy all monsters Special Summoned by this effect.

[font=georgia,serif]Are we to treat this as one card with two divergent effects? If so:[/font]

[font=georgia,serif]-[/font] [font=georgia,serif]More generic 'find Poly then minus' + inferior Super Poly (Normal Spell, can't target other monsters for Fusion Summon) = trash.[/font]
[font=georgia,serif]- The second effect is a retraining of Instant Fusion's effect text, done more tasetefully (apart from the Life Point payment, which makes little sense in the Extra Deck, home to a maximum of fifteen monsters).[/font]

[font=georgia,serif]In conclusion, I wouldn't mind if you eliminate the first effect and keep the second, as a retrained and playable (and uncosted - act on it) Instant Fusion means more options.[/font]
