How does the current warning level thing work?

1. What happens when I get to 10 points? Is it always a perma-ban? If so, I wish the system to be re-done.
2. Do points disappear after some time?

1) It shoud be banned for 3 days. I don't know what would cause that to change.
2) Yes. Mods can now set times for them to go away.

It doesn't seem to be because of the warning. Try asking another mod.

You get perma banned when the mod team feels your presence on the forum is taking things away from it. It obviously isn't that cut and dry but that is the bare bones basics of it.
