Sploda
OOC Thread Wild Lands, Asgrove A group of citizens have gathered in the southern plaza, watching the gate. From beyond they hear the call of a horn. Once. Twice. Thrice. The fourth blow of the horn and the citizens all breath a sigh of relief. Four calls of the horn meant a raiding party was returning. Asgrove, one of the few safe havens in the Wild Lands, the unofficial capital of the region. Pokemon from all over the lands sought the refuge of this great fortress. However, Asgrove was far from safe. The city had to send out raid parties to scout, forage, and protect for the city. With the city surrounded by wild beasts, as well as always fearing invasion from the Commonwealth, these raiding parties were crucial to everyday survival. That is why the crowd was gathered to cheer them back through the gates. The city watch was always looking for new raiders, people could sign up at the call boards in any of the plaza. Those with enough wealth to speak of could even venture to a tenure in the city's academy and attempt to join the Asgrove Raiders. What will you do? The Grand Republic, Sunnydale Everything was peaceful in the small city, the fishermen were beginning to head out for the morning trips, while the late-nighters were coming home to sleep. Nothing could've made the citizens happier. Except maybe if the peace was an honest one. In reality the city was being squeezed dry. The Republic's military had shown up a fortnight before and were accompanied by various representatives and officials. They began to suck the city dry by demanding that the citizens cover the costs of their meals, shopping, and even the incidents that the guards caused. The city had been visited by the corruption that was rotting the Republic from within, a corruption that the Council of Three refused to even attempt to fix. To make matters worse Bandits have begun to wonder into town to seek money from the chaos that it attempts to hide. The mayor has begun to ask locals to put an end to the bandit raids, at the same time looking for those that may be able to peacefully end the problem of the corrupt officials. What will you do? The Twin Kingdoms, Rockharm The modest city of Rockharm was the cornerstone of the Twin Kingdom's southern trade network. All sorts of produce flowed into and out of the town, usually accompanied by the renowned local spices. The harvest festival was well underway and would most likely continue for next several weeks while visitors enjoyed the season. Aside from the usual vagabond and the occasional scuffle things were going relatively well for the city. The only thing of note was that rumors of ghosts in the area had begun to spring up. Supposedly these ghosts were frightening away people and then taking the produce. The only thing left at the spooked stands was the spice. The locals have asked for people to investigate the ghost stories, at the same time a caravan is looking to head north with it's produce and spices. What will you do? Jake the Sage
The massive walls of the so-called capital city. Big. Imposing. Some Pokemon who look at them think there is no possible way that anyone, enemy or ally, could break through them without Godly assistance. Of course, I wasn't one of the Pokemon who thought that. Our raiding party heading ever closer I could hear the horn begin to blow, signaling our return. One. Two. Three times stating we were safe. Watching the massive doors swing open I left the group, nodding my head to a few as I made my way through the crowd. "Dad!" I heard and was immediately tackled to the ground, a young Meinfoo resting on my chest.
Sitting on the roof of our house I looked out at the barren lands surrounding Asgrove, waiting for my adoptive Dad to return. Sighing, the wind moving past my fur, I felt my ears perk up hearing the horn begin blowing. The horn had always meant a raiding party was coming back; it meant Dad was coming back. Scooting back I climbed onto the railing and launching myself off to bounce between the rooftops until I landed on the ground. Looking around I tried to spot my Dad, finally seeing him and running towards him, "Dad!" "So how was the scouting?" I asked, curious. Before we arrived here and Dad took the opportunity to become a raider, we had traveled almost everywhere.
"Nothing to report honestly. Just the normal things," confessing I sighed, shaking my head as I got up off the ground and walked with her back to the house.

The Warden
"Ah, sweet sweet Rockharm, southern belle of The Twin Kingdom's produce and spice trades; and the apple of my eye. All those tradesmen below are merely carrots to be plucked on a whim, with their products just ripe for the picking. They will all rustle at my name, and they will, errr, ummm- Blast, ran out of fruit jokes. Whatever, all those silly rumours of ghosts, pah; ghosts do not frighten meow, nor can they harm meow. They will merely be tools for my great conquests and- *tummy rumbles* Oh hush you, I'm trying to have an internal monologue here. *tummy rumbles* Fine, switching to narrative form." Meowmar, better known (to himself) as the Great and Amazing Phantom Thief Meowmar, was observing his town through a pair of binoculars he 'borrowed' from a passerby. His vantage point was his hideout: An abandoned grain silo that used to contain grains and seeds, but proved ineffective at preventing pests form getting at them. This didn't concern Meowmar, as after a bit of work adding some new planks and creating a lookout from which to plot his next move, it was home to him. His tummy rumbled for the third time, so his gaze was then forced from observing the city to observing the market place. Though those ghosts did help business in a ways, they didn't help the fact that security in the markets were growing tight. Many of those merchants had taken to using 'Psychic Security', anti-ghost types to help divine their approach and ward them off, as well as to awake any of those Hypnotized. So the security mainly consisted of Hypnos and Drowzee. Hypnos tended to creep Meowmar out, those unblinking eyes that stare right into your dreams and om nom them. Why they were allowed to even practise that is a secret the ruling party shares with no one. But what makes em worse is that they can read minds, so thoughts of robbing get squashed easy. Meowmar growled at that thought, considering he was craving apples right now; nothing like a nice juicy red ripe apple. The thought of food caused Meowmar to drool a little, and also to take a misguided step back. His left foot met thin air, and his arms cartwheeled at the lack of balance. Reaching forwards, he saved himself a fall from the vantage point. "Maybe, I'll need railing or something."
The Thief was peering at the market place from a barrel near the first stand. There were so many people there, and so much Psychic Security. This was going to be tough, but nothing Meowmar couldn't handle. He had a plan, with hysteria as the main attraction. Taking a quick inhale, his lips pursed as he blew an Icy Wind into the markets. The next part of the plan, required his bets female voice. "AH! THE GHOSTS ARE ATTACKING!" His fake female cries did the trick, as the civilians and shop keepers began to panic and run around wildly. More importantly, all the Psychic Security was running to either end in order to tackle the 'ghosts'. Meowmar stifled his laughter as he discreetly joined the panicking crowd, doing his best to act panicked as well. Ah, a fruit stand was fast approaching; Meowmar generated a charm through the Pay Day skill, and as he ran past the stand, devoid of its owner, he did the ol' Switcheroo with 2 apples, leaving only the charm in their place. The last part was the easiest, as the fleeing crowds ran past the Psychic Security and out of the markets. After a short while running, Meowmar detached from the crowd and ran off with none the wiser of his work. "Suckers." Meowmar took a triumphant bite of the juicy sweet apple as he sauntered back to the Hideout.
ListenToLife
The streets were a bustle of noise, even at night; the shop keepers shouting about their 'one of a kind' goods, the buyers trying to lower the prices, and the beggars asking for it for free. It was a fruitless effort, but you had to admire their efforts. No matter what, they persisted, and that was an admirable quality. Not that it got them anywhere. The setting sun was beating down on the city, a relatively small capital. The days were getting colder as they got further away from the summer season, but the sun was still high in the sky, and the heat was nigh unbearable to some. The market place seemed to be overflowing, with buyers huddling around the food stalls, aiming to get as much food as they could, as cheap as they could, before the winter came, even as it approached sun-down. Despite the noise and bustle, it still seemed quite peaceful, or at the very least happy. Until the soldiers came. A group of soldiers, previously having been out fighting, had entered the market place not a minute earlier, and started demanding food from the stall owners, complaining about how they had been risking their lives. Not that the stall owners cared, all they cared about was the hardened warriors shoving weapons in their faces. And so the food was given, and the corruption continued. "It's a sad world. A sad, corrupt world." Dregan muttered, turning away from his window, unable to face the blatant corruption anymore. He was rather disappointed in the public display of regression, the insensitive and vulgar act of stealing. Especially considering it was being done by supposedly honourable and couragious men, people who were often regarded as heros. It was just wrong. It wasn't right and someone needed to do something about it. And Dregan had decided he'd be that man. After all, he was supposed to be starting his quest soon. And he needed some outlet to start from. The mayor was collecting people to help put an end to the corruption. And Dregan was going to sign up. Definitely. Tomorrow, at the break of dawn, he was going down to the mayor and demanding he be put on the force. Or...well....politely asking with a raised tone. Just without the raised tone. And a nervous stutter instead. He shrugged, or the closest thing to shrugging when you have no arms or shoulders, and slithered towards his bed, crawling in quite easily, despite his lack of limbs. He sighed and yawned at the same time, corrupting the initial sound of them both, before lowering his eyelids and curling up to get some sleep. It was going to be an interesting day tomorrow, and he needed some energy for it.
Sploda
Wild Lands, Asgrove As the crowd dispersed to allow the raiders through, several even breaking off to visit family, the local guard captain began to move around taking up all prominent weapons from the raiders. No one but the city guard were allowed to carry a weapon larger than a throwing axe. The city's council was about to hear the report from the raid parties leader, until then the raid team would be confined to the plaza, and their homes. This was to ensure that no one could spread rumors, lies or plot an attack against anyone until the council had an account of the day's activities. As such a guard approached Jake as well as two of his associates following behind a distance. "Sir, I will require all your large and medium-sized weaponry and ask you to proceed back to your house or to return to the plaza." The Twin Kingdoms, Rockharm The market place was in a full state of panic, although one couldn't tell if the people were running from the supposed ghosts or from the Hypno security force. It took some time for the commotion to calm down enough for the security captain and the city guard's captain to get an account from anyone. The odd thing was, everyone they talked to said that they heard a scream about ghosts and began to panic, thinking the area was under attack. A few mind readings from a Drowzee confirmed this was the truth. Not one to let a ghost slip through his fingers the head Hypno gathered a group of five Hypno and three Drowzee to search the city and find anyone who might know about the ghost attack. He had never let a ghost escape from his jurisdiction before, and he wasn't about to let it happen again. The Grand Republic, Sunnydale The day passed without any unusual incidents. The next day the mayor sent out his messengers to collect all those who had expressed interest in the group that would protect the town. He intended to turn this group into a local night's watch group to stop the bandit raids. This very same day a Kadabra and his assistant Ralts wondered into town and took note of the officials and their lack of values. Disturbed by this, but not wanting to cause trouble the pair walked into a local tavern and ordered some lemonade, taking a seat near the fireplace. Probably not the wisest choice since a couple of representatives decided to suddenly take a liking to the table...and a disliking to the newcomers. Blake
Leo peeked around a building at the group of messengers for those wanting to join the guard, a wide smile on his face. After listening to the words the mayor had told them before they went on their mission, the young Riolu was sucked in, wanting to help out despite being too young for it. As the group scrambled, Leo turned to his companion, his eyes lit up. "That's what we can do to help out! We're not adults, so we can't take care of the mean leaders, but we can do this, Amy!" Catching himself beginning one of his rants, he shook it off. "Well, what do you think of the idea?" he asked the Eevee, "I mean, we'd have to sneak to do it and all... We're probably too young!" As he flung his arms up, he lost control of his voice a little, speaking a bit too loudly for someone trying to be slick.
Gαr
The view was beautiful and breath-taking. The river was like a sparkling sapphire while the forest was a shimmering emerald. He was climbing to the top of one of the larger buildings in the city when he noticed the view. Will couldn't resist, so he decided to stop and take a break and look at the view. He lifted himself up onto a small ledge so he could admire the beautiful sight. Will stood in awe while looking at the two gems. He was about to resume climbing when he lost his footing. He was falling in open air, but it didn't last long. He landed on a ledge a few meters down. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. OW!" Will shouted when he landed onto the ledge, clutching his back. "Man, that's gonna hurt tomorrow." There was a window close to where he landed. Will stuggled to get it open because he was in so much pain. He eventually opened the window and made his way down the building.
Kazooie
Amy nodded as Leo talking, her eyes big as he ranted. "W-well, if you think we could do it... We should try! I'm tired of being told I'm too young to do aaaaanything." As she whined, she peeked around the corner of the building, watching what the messengers were doing. "I don't get it Leo, shouldn't they be getting ready for a big battle with explosions and armor and thingies like that? This just seems... Boring, that isn't what adventure is like!" A look of disappoint started to cover her face as she turned back to Leo. "Right? Isn't adventure supposed to be fun?"
Jake the Sage
Stopping, hearing the order to surrender everything larger than a basic wood-cutting axe, I turned around and gave the man a scowl. I had joined the raiders to gain some information and freedom, yet constantly getting orders wasn't my style of doing things. Nor was handing over my weapons to anyone. Under any circumstances. "I apologize, but I don't think I'll be handing over my weapon," I said waving the man off, as well as the two behind him, and turned to walk away.
Holding Dad's hand I felt it tug behind me when he stopped. Spinning around to ask him what was the matter I saw a very large Pokemon standing a few feet away with his arms crossed. Dad was speaking to him about his weapons, relics he told me that he had gotten from his master, and then said he wasn't going to give the man his sword. With that he turned and began leading me along again. Looking behind me at the man I simply smiled and stuck my tongue out at him.
Thar
Chris was high atop a tree within a fraction of a mile from the southern plaza of Asgrove; high enough to see a glimpse of the activity taking place there. She heard the horn sound once. Twice. Thrice. Quarice...she shook her head, grown light-headed from over-excretion. Chris hardly ever slept as of the past several days. She was too oblivious to the human population to care much for the people in the more populated area, especially the southern plaza. Although she recognized the sound of the fourth horn sounding, she hesitated to head to the gates, yet the need for social acceptance plagued her. As much as she cared, Chris needed to make some friends. She made way to the plaza, ignoring the sting of all the cuts on her flesh from the slivered tree. She had taught herself how to move swiftly and lightly to avoid falling through the tree branches that reached across the opening, making a path for her to leap through. Within several yards from the plaza boundaries, she caught a thin branch and fell face-first towards the pavement, but was "saved" by a passing "soldier" with a look of dismissal on his face. Luckily for Chris, her eye was just inches away from the edge of the man's weapon strapped to his back.
Fusion X. Denver
His nose twitched as a light breeze blew dirt through his nostrils, prompting a violent expulsion of snot, saliva and blood. A lone Treecko was lying in the dirt, crimson drool leaking out of the corner of his mouth. Damn...again? Struggling to right himself up, he crawled to the rolling river nearby and plunged his head underneath, letting the water purify his mouth and cleanse the many scratches and bruises on his face. Schools of Magikarp and Remoraids passed by, giving the intruder odd glances as they swam home for the night. By now, this had become a daily ritual for Schmidt the Treecko. Two weeks ago, a group of Machokes and Conkeldurrs visited the Wild Land Jungles and claimed the terrain as their turf. Vagabonds like Schmidt were suddenly expelled and prohibited from returning. Schmidt tried his best to rally his allies against them, but most gave up and either hid away in the Asgrove or went off into lands unknown. He finally decided that he'd be better off alone and has since spent the past two weeks challenging the group to defeat them. But his strength faded each day. Schmidt was running out of berries by the riverside and he couldn't live off fruit forever. I don't have a choice...I'll have to go to the Asgrove. Schmidt slowly trudged his way up to the wall and used his limbs to scale the wall. When he reached the top, he heard a commotion below and peeked his head over. "What now?"
ListenToLife
Dregan yawned and sat up in his bed, looking out of the window at the golden sun that rose every morning, showering his room with light. He grinned and moved the covers, slithering out of his bed with little effort. He looked at the sun once again, before realising it was a bit higher than usual. Concerned, he moved over to his clock and glanced at the time. "Crap!" He shouted, realising he was late for the meeting to become part of the mayor's new group. He looked to his door and shook his head. "That'll take too long." He muttered as he moved to the balcony. He took one deep breath before compressing his body. This better work. He prayed, unfurling himself, causing a spring like reaction that forced him up into the air. He fell surprisingly fast, most likely due to his size, but still managed to perform a wrap on a nearby lamp post before he hit the ground, saving him from a nasty crash. He sighed and looked forward, thinking about where the mayors house would be. After he mentally noted its position, he muttered, "Agility", and flashed towards the building, managing to avoid crashing into anything despite his current speed. However, despite the speed, he was still too late. The mayor's doors were shut, and he could not enter. Cursing, he turned away from the door and moved towards the nearby inn, slower now. He sighed and entered, ordering himself a glass of cola, before 'sitting' in a nearby booth, forced to sip his cola in a rediculous straw. He shook his head and looked up, noticing what seemed to be the start of a commotion as a Kadabra and Ralts were approached by a rather menacing group. Sploda
Wild Lands,Asgrove The guards weren't entirely surprised. Most raiders didn't respect the city guard because they opted to stay behind the wall rather than venture beyond. However the lead guard, a Combustken that was taller than the norm, wasn't about to let a raider avoid one of the few laws ruling this land. "Sir, I'm afraid your not being given a choice. It's either hand over your Large and medium-sized weaponry or remove yourself from Asgrove. We will harbor no one who is unwilling to comply with the council's edicts." The guards then moved to circle the two and prevent them from leaving without giving an answer. They however did not make any threatening moves, the Combustken still held hopes of solving this peacefully. Elsewhere, a Machop was wondering why in the world a pidgey had fallen on top of him. Didn't they know how to fly? "You know, you shouldn't day dream while flying. I've got a friend who did that once. Now he's blind." He looked at the pidgey, who was mysteriously close to his hand axe. "Are you alright?" Wild Lands, Jungle Zone "What, the beating we gave you earlier wasn't enough. Most Pokemon have already left for places that will accept them. Am I gonna have to smash your head again?" Clunk was the smartest of the Conkeldurr in the group, although that wasn't saying much if you thought about it. He and his group were out looking for a decent hideout, mostly because the Machoke didn't like the idea of sharing a place with a bunch of dimwits. I think they just didn't like our singing. "So what will it be, whelp? Fight of flight?" The Grand Republic, Sunnydale "We want's your table." "Then I suggest you wait for us to leave, gentlemen." The Kadabra was not about to be bullied by a few Servine and their dimwitted Slaking bodyguards. He was in the process of ignoring the group as a Dratini walked, er slithered his way into the pub. "You miss understand my friend here," replied one of the Servine, snapping Kadabra back to the situation, "We would like to sit here now. It is after all, reserved for those of ranking." "Is it now? That isn't what the bartender said." Kadabra responded, growing bored of these antics. The bartender gave the Kadabra a glare before replacing it with a terrified look as the Servine glanced at him. "Ralts, be a dear and invite that Dratini over. If I'm not mistaken he is a good friend of mine." "Y-yes master!" The Ralts replied in her distinctly feminine voice as she jumped off the chair that was much to high for her to sit in and made her way quickly to the Dratini. Upon arrival she gently nudged the tail of the Dratini, unable to reach any higher. "E-excuse me, m-my master has r-requested that you c-come sit with us." Ralts stammered, she wasn't very good with people, especially strangers. She would just have to improve on that after training she told herself. Her duty came first. ruga650
Hex wandered around the Wild Lands, careful of where he stepped. The Eevee made sure to not spread awareness of his presence. He slowly tracked his way through the area when he noticed a Treecko on Asgrove's wall. He snickers and throws a Shadow Ball just below it, seeing how the Treecko would react. Xeno sighed as the panic ensued and eventually quieted down. She didn't want to be seen, or even noticed, so she decided to run. She got up from her bush hiding place and started running off, looking behind her every once in a while to be sure no one was following her. "Blasted Pokemon... Jake the Sage
The Combustken, taller than the other Pokemon around him, was obviously the leader of the group considering his outfit. The Pokemon speaking to the raider, he again repeated that he was to hand over his weapons or leave Asgrove. A slight chuckle escaped past Jake's lips as he heard the Combustken's words and simple pulled his sword out so it was being held in front of him. The guards then moved around him in a wide circle to ensure neither Jake nor his daughter would be able to leave without handing over the sword. Remaining still he could tell they were ready to fight, but were not going to be the ones to start any confrontation. "If you want the sword take it," he said, nodding to his daughter, then suddenly throwing it high up into the air before letting out a loud raspy sound, akin to metal scrapping against metal, which should stun most if not all of the guards.
The men surrounded us and didn't seem to be willing to let either Dad or I go without handing over the family sword. Looking all around me, front, back, all of it was blocked off while the leader repeated himself. When Dad spoke he looked at me and gave a nod so that I knew we were going to make a break for it. The Warden
Meowmar was chuckling merrily as he sauntered down a street, but his perky ears caught the sounds of, marching feet. Damn, the authorities were already onto him. Looking around desperately, there was no cover whatsoever for him, and if there were some Mind Readers amongst them, he was toast. "Okay, calm down. What did Mom always say about a situation like this?" He calmed his mind a little, and recalled his teachings. -Meowmar, if you're ever caught without cover, then use plain sight as a cover. If you blend into a crowd or the scenery, people will ignore you as you are meaningless in their mind. And, if there are Mind Readers, be sure to fill your mind with menaingless worries, like worrying about taxes, whether your secret sweetheart likes you etc. Just make yourself one of the crowd and you can hide just about anywhere. this won't work in a chase, but when there is a decent crowd, you're gone- Though a little worried, he did as Mother told him. His pace slowed as he moved as if an ordinary citizen, and his mind, was a little worried about the Police, but he filled it with a single worry. He focused all his attention onto it, but his heart was racing like a Ponyta on race day. "Oh dear, I hope granny is doing well. ListenToLife
Initially, Dratini didn't notice the small pokémon touching his tail. He didn't even feel anything, and was almost dozing while he drunk. He noticed her speaking, however, despite the trouble the Ralts had with it. Dratini looked down at the Ralts with a confused stare, trying to comprehend her meaning through her thick stutterings. He managed to get the main gist of her statement, if only through looking at where she'd come from, and the odd word he managed to pick up. He looked up at the group of Slaking - these ones even slower than the average Slaking - and he knew he stood no chance. But he could at least try to reason with the leader. He sighed and finished his Glass of Cola off (still humiliated by the straw), before slithering off of the booth, following the Ralts to her master. As he arrived, he nodded in a - at least in his opinion - confident and noble'ly manner, though he felt rather nervous inside. He pushed himself up into the booth, pulling the entirety of his body onto the seat before turning his face towards the Kadabra. "You sent for me?" He asked, making the Dragon family's equivelant of raising an eyebrow(Which involved lopsiding on of the ears, tilting his head and leaning forwards). When he threw the sword up and let out a 'metal sound' I ran forward and punched one of the guards to drain him of his energy before pushing off his chest to attack another, following Dad when he broke out of the ranks sword in hand.
Breaking through the ranks of soldiers, leaping over the Combustken's shoulder before grabbing my sword both Lora and I made a break for it. Leaping onto the railing of a building we ran as fast as we could, taking the hardest path to follow so we could loose anyone who would give chase; and with the attitudes of the guards, that'd be quite a lot. As we made our way I looked behind me, checking to see if Lora was still there and also to ensure that no one was following us. Once it appeared that we had gotten away we ducked into an empty apartment and closed the window, both breathing heavily. "I think . . . we lost them," I said through pants, peering out of the window to make one final check, my sword in hand.
Being thrown into the empty room wasn't something I thought was fun at all. Instead of landing gracefully on my feet, I rolled before hitting my head on the edge of a bed. Groaning I tried my best to not yell out, afraid I'd give away our position. Rolling on the ground, clutching my head in pain, I eventually got up and sighed, "Are they gone?"
Sploda
Wild Lands, Asgrove The Combustken was completely stunned. In but a few moment his guards had been knocked about and the suspect was on the run. He composed himself as his men began to regroup. "Right I want all the gates sealed and I want patrols doubled. We have enough issues without armed fugitives moving about the city." By dawn the guard had been notified and had even managed to get a few raiders to guard the gates while they patrolled looking for the fugitives. The Twin Kingdoms, Rockharm The Hypno and his group were hurrying by when they detected thoughts uncommon to the average citizen. They quickly pinpointed the source to be an Absol, and the thoughts were directed to an innocent Meowth worried about his grandmother and something else they weren't quite sure of. The group moved towards the two, hoping to save the Meowth before anything bad occured. Grand Republic, Sunnydale "Yes indeed I did friend. I couldn't help but feel like I should get to know you better. After all, aren't you a member of one of the Republic's most influential families? Surely the least I can do is buy you a drink and invite you to my table." The Kadabra motioned for a drink to be brought to the Dratini. The Bartender hesitantly moved amongst the group and gave the Dratini another of the drinks he had at the bar. The Servine and Slaking were glancing nervously between the Dratini and Kadabra, with Ralts all but forgotten in between them. The lead Servine spoke up, "Well, it appears that this table is taken by one of ranking. I'll leave you two to your discussion then." The Servine tossed the Kadabra a glare before motioning for the group to be off. Kadabra turned to the Dratini he had invited, his eyes soft with compassion. "I'm sorry I had to drag you into this, but you look like a Dratini of the influential Dragonite clan known throughout the Republic. If I have offended you by placing you in this position, I'm truly sorry, but I needed a ruse to protect my dear Ralts here. I doubt I could've taken on so many Slaking with the Servine as well." The Kadabra gave an apologetic nod before returning to his drink and awaiting a reply.
Jake the Sage
Both of us had remained inside while the guards walked around, possibly if not definately searching for us. However I had no plan on moving if only for the night. Lying on the straw bed I stretched out and let out a sigh of relief; the raid had been a long one and with the guards causing a problem with me I really needed a nap. Sitting up for a moment I took the sword out from behind me and laid it on the floor near the bed, just in case something occurred while I was lying down. Covering my eyes I peered over to Lora, "Okay Lora, make sure no one comes close to us and if you think they will, let me know so we can leave. Understood?"
"understood dad," I replied with a nod, yawning slightly as he got on the bed and placed the relic close by. Getting up I scooted over near the window and sat down so I could watch on anyone who came within view. For a long, long time there was only normal Pokemon walking around with their daily chores or whatever, but once every so often a guard would come by and bypass us without any problems; though each time they came near my heart beat got a bit faster. As the night came we had yet to be found thankfully. Now that it was night I was woken up by dad and told I could let some sleep, while he searched across the city for some way to get out of the city. With him gone I laid on the bed and quickly went to sleep.
Thar
It all of a sudden flashed back in her head: At the time she crashed into the soldier, she remembered the blade of the axe gleaming in her eyes. A chill went down her spine, as she recalled. Then, as if the only other option was death, she broke free of her paralysis of embarrassment and ran into the woods. She imagined the guards behind her looking upon her as if she were some sort of Viagroth. Again, she wound up perched on a tree, scouting the area. She looked toward the southern capital, where she noticed a rouse breaking out. Guards were scattering the whereabouts as others stood at the entrances. The castle was locked down, but the question is: "was the culprit inside the building, or outside?" Because if the person was outside, that might make for another awkward encounter and possibly cause a scar, given the stereotype of culprits. "I don't wanna get hurt..." Chris whimpered as she hugged herself and shook, still remembering the blade just inches from her eyes.
ruga650
Just as the Servine and Slaking left the tavern, several explosions happened inside a building near the middle of the city. The building started to break down and crumble as the fire from the blasts spread to two nearby buildings. In the distance, an Axew was sitting on a roof, watching the destruction. He rubbed his tusks as he watched. "How sad that things can come to such an abrupt end... Oh well... It was the way it was a long time ago, and it is the way i'm doing things now..." He reaches into a sack besides him. He takes out a black top marked with the letter 'R' in blue and spins it as he throws it off the roof in such a way that it lands and spins right in front of the building that is breaking down. "Turns out this place isn't so perfect after all..." He chuckles and ties the sack around his neck as he slips off the roof, inserting his tusk into the wall just enough to slow down his fall so he doesn't hurt himself. Once he is on the ground, he pulls his tusk from the wall and runs off.
