The Steadfast golem archetype

So, I've been thinking. What with yugioh getting all fast, I was thinking of making an archetype that goes slowly. Then this came to mind, the steadfast golem archetype. Able to weather through the barrage of attacks and effects today's meta provides, and through tenacity, achieve victory.


Steadfast golem Garrack - (*)(*)(*)(*) - EARTH
Rock/effect
1850/1800
When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can remove one armor counter from it instead. While this card has no armor counters it gains 400 attack.

Steadfast golem Keagan - (*)(*)(*) - EARTH
Rock/effect
1700/1800
When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If a monster on your side of the field would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove 1 armor counter from this card instead. While this card has no armor counters on, this card cannot be selected as an attack target.

Steadfast golem Polay - (*)(*)(*)(*) - EARTH

When this card is normal summoned, you can place one armor counter on it. If this card would be removed from the field, you can remove one armor counter from it instead. While this card has no armor counters on it; you can place one armor counter on it during the end phase if you haven't removed an armor counter from it this turn.

Steadfast golem Auspic - (*)(*)(*) - EARTH

When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove one armor counter instead. While this card has no armor counters; you can tribute this card to destroy one card on the field.

Steadfast golem Arbaggio - (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) -EARTH

When this card is normal summoned, you can place three armor counters on it. If this card would be removed from the field, you can remove one armor counter from this card instead. If another monster you control would be removed from the field, you can remove two armor counters from this card instead. While this card has no armor counters, you take no battle damage.

When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If a spell or trap card would be activated that would destroy a monster you control, you can remove one armor counter from this card to negate the activation of that card and destroy it. While this card has no armor counters, you can destroy one spell/trap card on the field once per turn. If this effect is activated this card cannot declare an attack.

Steadfast golem Malec - (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) - EARTH

When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If an effect monsters effect activates that would destroy a monster you control, you can remove one armor counter to negate the activation and destroy it. This card cannot attack while it has armor counters.

When this card is normal summoned, you can place three armor counters on it. If a monster you control would be destroyed, you can remove one armor counter from this card instead. Once per turn, you can move one armor counter from a face-up card you control to this card. If this card has no armor counters, destroy it.

When this card is normal summoned, you can place two armor counters on it. If this card would be removed from the field, you can remove one armor counter from this card instead. If an armor counter from this card is removed; destroy one card on the field.

Aura stone of power
Continuous spell card
When a "Steadfast golem" monster is normal summoned, you can place one armor counter on this card. You can remove one armor counter from this card instead of removing an armor counter from a face-up "Steadfast golem" monster you control.

Armor smash
Spell card
Remove all armor counters from all cards you control, and face-up monsters you control gain 100 attack for each counter removed in this way until the end of the turn this card is activated.



Platinum armorpiece
Trap card
When this card is activated, equip it to a face-up "Steadfast golem" monster you control. The equipped monster gains 1000 DEF. You can send this card to the graveyard instead of removing an armor counter from the equipped monster.

Prepare for the storm
Trap card
Activate only when your opponent has special summoned two or more monsters this turn. Place one armor counter on all "Steadfast golem" monsters you control.

Take the fall
Trap card
Activate only when your opponent declares an attack or targets a monster you control with a spell/trap card. Change the attack target or the target of the spell/trap card to a "Steadfast golem" monster you control.




Considering adding the "Cannot be used for xyz or synchro summons" or "cannot be special summoned" clause(s) to ensure they're not OP.
