You're asking why a game that has traditionally been released every year is being released a year after the last game...? Okay then...

@Larry: THE AK in MW2 HAD STUPID DAMAGE

Zombies + Futuristic Weapons + Multiple Game Modes = Epic. That's all I have to say about Zombies, I loved it in WaW, I loved all the time they spent into it in BO, if they actually give it more attention in BO2, I am seriously loving Treyarch. As for the campaign, I have always loved Treyarch campaigns because of a simple fact, they do not take the way of IW and put many fictional characters, put extensive time to characterize them in one game and then just throw them away for others. Treyarch takes the enormity of real life situations, develops a few characters in a sense that you can identify with them by the end of the game and then it doesn't throw them away in the next installment. Instead it revives them to show even more of them and make the audience fall in love with them. As I said I love the campaign because of the setting, how they went from WW2 to the Cold War and now to the future and their take on the next catastrophic time. I absolute love this because they show the intensity, the gore and the awe of such terrifying times. As for the Multiplayer, no long speech there. The Balance of Treyarch's Multiplayer always trumps the chaos of IW's multiplayer in my book. So all in all I am totally stoked for this game and trust me COD fans everywhere, they will not make it like Halo or like IW. Treyarch are better than that and they have proven this time after time with their games.

An extended campaign is what we need. And eight player zombies plus extra Zombie modes is going to make it a more lasting experience. From what I've heard, it sounds like Treyarch is actually focusing greatly on all parts of the game, instead of throwing in a trash campaign and spending all their time trying to perfect the multiplayer, which is amazing.

Also, where did you find out that Sledgehammer is completely overthrowing IW?

It was originally there on Wikipedia but I can't find it anymore so I guess its false,
What I have just learned though was that recently, Sledgehammer Games was working on their own Call of Duty game until they halted production due to being forced to help out Infinity Ward due to growing conflicts. Sledgehammer has since put their COD game on hold.

If there's one thing I want to see in Black Ops 3, is more teamwork capabilities.

You guys probably realize that I have a thread about teamwork*. Well if you guys ever play online multiplayer games such as Metal Solid Online or Uncharted 2&3, there are elements that you lets you interact with the person next to you.

Let's say LarryMudkipz, Agrro, and I were being gunned down. Then out of nowhere, Cronus and Belmont comes and saves us. Then through the game, we can give each other high-fives or use a in-game message like "Nice one guys!"
Another great example, would be helping another player get to a higher place: I'm sure this happened to everyone, but do anyone of you ever recall how a Care Package gets stuck on a building or hill that's just out of your reach? Well wouldn't it be awesome to actually give a guy a boost to reach the Care Package!?
Oh! Oh! Better yet! If two people share a same killstreak and use it at the same time, one person can litterally fly the plane and would rely on another person to guide them to their target.
Or let's say YugiohPro and I both got a Spyplane and used it at the sametime, I could be the one flying the plane, while Yugi can get a ariel view of the battlefield.

If you guys do watch the video, it would be awesome to have gameplay like this.

This was old news. This rumor was circulating around even before MW3 came out.

Why do people think this looks innovative? It's innovative for COD, but on a wider scale, it's basically looks like any other future-based shooter. And some of the lines of dialogue in the trailer were terrible.
I'm not hating, I enjoyed Black Ops; but this really doesn't look good enough to warrant a purchase. Of course, it's just a trailer; and people always tell me not to judge a book by it's cover, but I haven't a lot else to judge it on. Will wait for more information before I jump on the hype bandwagon.

I loved Black Ops. My cousin, my friend(s), and me would stay up all night playing it for months after it was released. Then, MW3 came and, though we liked it, we were slightly disappointed. To me, it wasn't as fun as Black Ops was.

I can't wait until this game comes out (although, I won't get it until Christmas most likely) and, hopefully, it'll be better than MW3 was. From what I've read, the campaign looks really planned out and not just thrown together for the hell of having a campaign; I'm really looking forward to the branching storylines in the campaign. Having it in the future looks really epic and I can't wait to see what killstreaks we will have in multiplayer. Maybe you can control a robot or something? Someone told me the first part of the campaign takes place in the 1980s and explores more of Alex Mason and his relationship with Viktor Reznov before time-traveling to 2025 where you will play as David Mason, the son of Alex Mason. The campaign looks amazing in this game, hopefully, I'm not disappointed with it.

And Zombies is coming back! I swear I played Zombies on W@W and Black Ops so much, I got sick of it by the time MW3 came around. However, with the addition of a possible Zombie campaign (don't know if true or not), my interest in Zombies is back. Hopefully, the campaign isn't just the regular Zombies with cutscenes. I want a storyline and everything. And 8 player co-op. I love Treyarch!

Okay, I need to calm down. I don't want to get super excited and then get disappointed by the time the game is released. I wish November would hurry up and get here.

one thing i can say about this game is that anyone would buy just for the ZOMBIES, man why you call of duty fans want to kill zombies too much you should play dead rising or other zombies games.

My views on other current zombies games.
Dead Rising-Gameplay was complicating to me and I had trouble playing it.
Dead Rising 2-Same thing.
Left 4 Dead-Fun, innovative, and didn't f*ck up the zombie genre.
Left 4 Dead 2-Pointless and not needed.
Dead Island-Retarded.

Nazi Zombies was one of the most innovative zombie games I had seen in awhile. Its style of gameplay mixing the COD experience with horror science fiction made the whole experience just even more fun along with the "Lets see how far you get" level system which made it addicting. Allowing perks was also a big plus.

Also all of the zombie games I played above besides Nazi Zombies I played on my friends Xbox 360 because I don't have and can't stand the Xbox 360. And I believe all or most of those games were for XBOX correct?

Left 4 Dead was 360 and PC only. The rest are available on PS3.
I will agree that Dead Island was pretty dumb, and never played Dead Rising. Left 4 Dead 2 is currently one of my favorite shooters at the moment. Never played the first one, and I heard that LFD2 had the LFD1 levels, so I just decided to buy that instead of the first one.
