Cherz
Do you think they will bring the cross bow back, Aggro. When i found out bout it, bought the game, and got hooked. It was the best CoD game yet.

When i found out bout it, bought the game, and got hooked. It was the best CoD game yet. [/quote]I dunno. The main thing with Black Ops weapons was that they wanted some of them to be real futuristic looking ones that the military had actually put into design. The cross bow and that knife launcher were two of them. So first off, expect some real trippy weapons (like all grenades stop being thrown and instead being launched). But I think if people are enamored enough with the guns, like the crossbow, they'll surely bring it back. They did it with Dogs, which were by an far the best thing about World at War. Doc.
It still seems pointless to have a "Black Ops 2", since it's set in the future it probably wont have any continuity to BOps 1, and that games story was terrible to begin with. Nobody will buy this for the campaign, they will just head for the multiplayer.
£>-ShådøwBøx-<3
So what are everyone's grievances about this game anyway...? I'm getting it, I have way too much fun with these games to let em go.
Frybread002
I will agree on the story: it was a bit bland on the whole side. But the multiplayer was pretty fun despite pepole who have to complain alot when you beat them fair and sqaure.

Frybread002
Uhhh...Hmmm...OH! Okay, I get it now. That would explain why my "Most Killed By" section is always topped with the Famas. Although I personally favor the Endfield with it's low fire-rate, the AR15/Commando for it's "Old Reliable" reputation in games and real-life, the M60 due to it's massive ammo capacity and deep penatration power, the M1911 because it's favored by Big Boss, and followed lastly by the L96A1 and SVD Dragonuv Sniper rifles. (Also, the M16 is something I like to use to nostagia)

It's useful at close range and can be the most useful of the full-auto rifles at long range if you get used to the visual up and down kick. Although my "Favorite Weapon" on my Combat Record is the Galil, which I have over 3800 kills with. Oh. and M16 with Red Dot on the map Hazard is deadly. Frybread002
Of course you love the Galil!!! It's the Israeli variation of the AK-47. In fact, the AK is so famous, that many of it's exploits have been exposed in a lot of pop-culture. Especially because of it's realibility to handle in all kinds of terrain and was the weapon of choice used by the Soviet Union. Spawing many varients across the world, it eventually worked its way to the Galil (you can also tell when you compare the two guns in Black Ops. Visually speaking). If anything, the only time I fall in love with the Famas is when I have to use Anti-Spawn Trapping tactics, due to it's high fire-rate and more damage compared to the AUG. Pichu
I'm not a huge CoD fan, in fact I don't really like the games, but I always pick up a copy of the games. The trailer is completely badass and the idea of being in the future is really great. Possibly unheard of. I'll pick up a copy when it's released, but I only play the games untill I complete the main story, since the online multiplayer crap annoys the hell out of me. I'd like to be able to controll the new said robots during the game. Everybody loves controlling robots!
Agro
This game is as close to Star Wars Battlefront III that we're ever going to get. :\ Also, the AK is baws in EVERY game.

More or less, I fell in love with the M4 as "Old realiable."

Darth Revan of the Sith
Strike Force Mission's? Extended and diverse campaign with choice engines? 8 player zombies? Zombie campaign? Zombie multiplayer? Innovations in multiplayer engine? Campaign continuity? Conflicts occurring in real life? I love you Treyarch. So much right now. BTW For anyone wondering the main preference of the future plot is based on the conflict between America and China going on right now in which China wats to hold off its rare earth metals for technological blueprints from america. The main point is saying that in 2025 the conflict that is happening in 2012 will eventually escalate into a second cold war. If it is a rip off of anything, it is a rip off of real life. I am so glad this game is saving me from the horrors I experienced in MW3 which I was highly disappointed in. And I am also glad that Infinity Ward is not making anymore COD games. Sledgehammer games is making future installments. Although I am sure that if Treyarch passes the COD torch, whatever game they make next, I will be first in line to buy it. I have followed this company since COD: Big Red One and I ain't backing down now.

And eight player zombies plus extra Zombie modes is going to make it a more lasting experience. From what I've heard, it sounds like Treyarch is actually focusing greatly on all parts of the game, instead of throwing in a trash campaign and spending all their time trying to perfect the multiplayer, which is amazing. Also, where did you find out that Sledgehammer is completely overthrowing IW?
