Looks tres interessant.
Name: Dregan Dragoniteson.

Gender: Male
Dratini

Personality: Dregan is, to be blunt, blunt. He will speak his mind, whether it is the right thing or not, and it is unusual that he will lie. He is also rather proud, due to his not only Draconic nature, but his class as a Psuedo Legendary. Despite that, he is also quite uncomfortable with himself, and isn't that proud of his looks, due to his rather feminine appearance, and is quite shy around others, afraid of what they might thing of him.
However, he is quite comfortable around people he is familiar, and although he is often not the headstrong person (Despite his large size), he is quite intelligent and witty, and can usually spot things others dont.
He will stand by his beliefs, and will argue his case no matter the evidence against it.

Nation: The Grand Republic

Pokedex Number: #147

Special Trait: Shed Skin
Character History: Being a family of Psuedo Legendary Pokémon, the Dragonite Family we're obviously going to be rather well off. They were one of the big 6 families in the Grand Republic, most often known for their Generosity and friendliness compared to the other Psuedo-Legend families. Their generosity often earned them the most popularity, inspite of the rivalling Psuedo's equal strength. They are also the oldest and most established of these families, and as such are commonly referred to as the greatest of the Psuedos, although they deny this, and the families are equal power-wise. They are friendliest with the Salamence Clan, due to their both being of the Dragon Species.
Dregan was the most recent child of the Dragonite Family, and as any child born into a prosperous and powerful family, a lot was expected of him. However, he was often seen as a disappointment, for his skill among fellow Dratini was only average, and his confidence was very low. He was often the subject of tease from other pokémon, for his large size as a child, and as such he was prone to spending time alone, and struggled to make friends easily.
Of course, due to being a Psuedo, he was not a victim of any physical violence, as his power was immense compared to other basic pokémon, and although he sometimes got into fights, he would always emerged victorious.

He has recently been told by his parents that he is to take a traditional test of strength that, although has always resulted in failure, is to test a pokémon's courage and strength. Should he return stronger(Evolved) he shall be recognised as a true member of his family. Should he come back still a Dratini, he shall be banished, and should he not come back at all, he shall be presumed dead.
The test: He has been sent on a quest to retrieve a certain Item, and though he has not been told yet what it is, he has been told that if he does encounter it, he will know that it is that.
I was going to pick a Lapras, but I thought it would be pointless to be a creature that cannot move on land.
Name: Will

Gender: Male

Pokemon: http://pokemon.wikia.../wiki/Cyndaquil

Personality: Will is a bit explosive and a daredevil. He is always trying to do big or impressive stunts. He succeeds most of the time, but its more fun for him and his audience to see Will fail. Despite his eccentric personality, he friendly and easy to get along with. Will is actually very caring deep down, but he doesn't want to show because he thinks its real sappy and will ruin his stunts.
Will will charge into a situation head on. He doesn't care what the consequences are, as long as the situation is done in style. He is rather straight forward for someone so ecstatic.

@KC, Broken, and Jake
Accepted.

@Thar
While there is a Mt. Pyre, this really isn't taking place in a world like the game's. Also, if you want to be from that Pokemon family, you will have to start as a Pidgey.

Take a look at the other Applications to get a feel for the Character History.

Well, it's a very open-ended RP so it will start as a random journey, but the end result could be so much more.

As for the overall setting, The Grand Republic and Twin Kingdoms are at odds and a tip either way could lead to a war, if people are interested.

At the same time the Commonwealth is seeking to expand, and the Wild Lands aren't likely to just give up their freedom.

And who knows what could come from the north?

I'm not sure why I have a pathological need to try and balance out gender inequities in roleplays.
Name: Colet
Gender: Female
Pokemon: Snivy
Personality: Colet is an interesting blend of ruthlessness and compassion born largely out of her interesting growth as a person; she has a very strong code of set beliefs that the adheres to at all times, and finds it exceptionally difficult to put herself into the shoes of others in that way.
In particular, Colet believes that pokemon should always be able to help themselves; she has very little empathy for others in most situations, and sees no reason to preform charitable acts (nor reason such things exist). She strongly believes in social Darwinism, and thinks that attempting to share power with pokemon that are fundamentally weaker than one's self is a stupid and lost cause that she wants nothing to do with. Losing Colet's respect in this manner is very easy, and Colet makes it quite obvious when she doesn't like someone- generally, it involves being struck with her tail, just shy of actually attempting to physically harm another.
On the other hand, Colet believes that duplicitous action is pathetic at absolute best, and actively villainous at very worst. She highly dislikes politics and the people who attempt to play them, and would much rather involve herself with someone honest about their weakness than lying about their strength. This said, Colet doesn't necessarily think things should be simple either. She recognizes the need for academic solutions and compromises, but that doesn't mean that she has to like lies too.
Nation: Wild Lands
Pokedex Number: #495
Special Trait: Contrary
Character History: Colet is relatively famous in the Commonwealth due to her rather unique story; a child of anarchists that scorned civilisation, she grew up like an animal in the Wild Lands, learning quite quickly how to become strong and defeat others- but at the same time, she learned from her parents how to refine her mind, how to learn to be quick and how to press a mental superiority over an opponent. Trickery become her greatest weapon, even long after the other members of her family had been murdered by other feral pokemon; she managed to survive, even without allies of any sort.
Eventually, she stumbled upon a military unit escorting a trading caravan who had been killed by the other feral creatures of the Wildlands. The loot contained within was weaponry, intel and raw coinage for an undertable weapons deal; a significant amount, though useless to someone like her. Still, her intuition told her it was important, and thus she hid it away.
She was rewarded quickly when a number of other soldiers hastened to the woods to try and take back the cache. Interested about the civilized world, Colet quickly hashed out a deal; not expecting a savage to have such clear mental cunning, the others were swindled quickly and end up paying the girl a huge sum of money in exchange to the objects she found, with which Colet has been living quite comfortably in Asgrove since.

Name: Latrése
Gender: Female
Pokemon: Purrloin
Personality: Latrése has, for lack of a better word, an obsessive personality. When she wants something, or is certain of something, or determines something should be, she will fight tooth and nail for that thing to be hers. She is exceptionally bullheaded and resilient to rationalization, often able to shrug off other people's opinions for crazy or almost nonsensical reasons.
That said, she is also incredibly intelligent, spending most of her free time reading or researching various things. She is exceptionally interested in history, and has a number of theories about the ruins to the north that she wants to be able to test at some point or another; she is also quite gifted in the sciences and mathematics, and can even correct grammar with the best of them, though her creative writing ability could certainly use work. She is an exceptionally rational, organized individual when everything is equal, and she despises messes or irregularity, to an almost compulsive end.
Latrése makes very few -some would say no- friends, and often has difficulty functioning in social situations regardless. That said, when she does manage to make a social bond, she can be incredibly paranoid about its fragility, often doing to extreme lengths to avoid disappointing the person involved.
Nation: Grand Republic
Pokedex Number: #509

Special Trait: Unburden
Character History: Latrése' family were formerly nobles, long into the past of the Grand Republic before the previously scattered territories condensed into a single great union, of exceptional repute. Their lineage stretches back much farther than most, with impeccable bloodlines the entire way; in the past, they were incredibly powerful members of the aristocracy, able to influence or even create new policy in a number of smaller kingdoms.
After the formation of the republic, their family fell through the cracks and they lost a large amount of power. Most of the family blames the legendary Entei for the loss of their status, due to him allegedly turning their backs on them when they attempted to call upon a number of favours he owed them; as such, most of the family (Latrése included) feel that they were cheated by the current system, and often attempt to subvert them in any such ways.
Latrése specifically spent much of her time reading about the old days and preforming several small jobs that required little social interaction. She became highly educated, but lacked any sort of practical outlet for her studies; as such, she eventually found herself cut off from the family's money, and left to fend for herself in a small fishing hamlet.

Name: Anatoros
Gender: Female
Pokemon: Sneasel
Personality: Anatoros is competitive, benevolent but ultimately antisocial as all heck. A hermit by choice, Anatoros dislikes pokemon and anything that tries to carry on a conversation with her, no matter how well-intentioned it may be. She is a pacifist at heart and would never actually attempt to harm someone, but she often purposely scares off anyone who attempts to approach her, and tends to speak in clipped, inpersonal sentences during the small periods of time where she is required to interact with others (typically while buying food in town).
That said, people who do manage to interact with Anatoros on more than a semi-regular basis can vouch that the girl has an arrogance streak a mile wide, and is highly annoyed by anyone that might try to imply she is not as good at something as she thinks she is. During competition, Anatoros uses any dirty trick she might know of to try and get up on top- when it's a competition, she has to prove to herself that she's better than any of the people she tries to avoid. It's possible that she uses this as a rationalization for why she doesn't need other people around her, but few know for certain- few are able to get near at all.
Despite this, however, Anatoros is softhearted at the core. She is exceptionally good with herbs and making natural medicines, which often leads to her treating the sicknesses or injuries of pokemon lost in the forests, or people with a strange illness that the local doctors might notice. Though she'll moan and whine about having to talk to another person, she secretly enjoys being able to heal others- and some might call it her passion, though she'll be more than annoyed if someone attempts to come to her for help without having an actual pitiable problem. She has relatively low regard for doctors and others of a medical profession, possibly for the same reasons.
Nation: Twin Kingdoms
Pokedex Number: #215
Special Trait: Keen Eye
Character History: Anataros was born to a spice trader father and a herb trader mother, and identified with the later far more than she ever did the former- though unfortunately, when the two separated, she found herself drawn to her father's side to learn the spice trade.
What happened next, Anataros never quite found out. The next few years she knew were filled with pointless and annoying lessons about trading and how to endear yourself to potential allies or customers, she knew that at least, and hated it. She grew to hate just about everyone involved in the spice trading business, the city itself included with that- and somehow, that was only accentuated when her father was murdered by some unknown serial killer, during a rash of murders in the city.
She never quite knew if his particular killer was ever found, but oddly enough, she didn't terribly care. She took the money he left her in his will and moved to the outskirts of the city, near the woodlands and plains, and lived off the land to a reasonable degree. She still went into the town for supplies on occasion, but in general, she was alone. And that way, she found peace.

For a while, anyway- eventually, during one of her forays into the wilderness, she found a pokemon dead due to fever, having eaten a bad mushroom. Though she pretended nonchalance, the event tore her up- after that point, she decided to learn everything she could about the body, and how to protect it from death. She'd seen too much of it for her age anyway, and it was best to keep things patched up when possible.

@Hydra
All 3 Accepted.

I'll begin the RP tomorrow evening with a settings post. However, I'll be going to see Avengers Saturday morning so if I don't respond to any posts after the start, don't be alarmed. I'll be out watching an (hopefully) amazing movie.

It seems I have wi-fi here. I can post.
And I'm rather disappointed with my post, so I'm deleting it and doing a new one. It just wasn't acceptable for a first post by my self-standards.
Anyway, shall post (Again) later, and will try to make it better this time.

Special Trait: Early Bird
Character History:
Chris was born in a heavily forested area, but the grasslands she grew up in were miles from her home. As she grew up, she learned how to climb trees and pick their fruit; hunt rodents and cook their meat; and most importantly, how to survive. Before she left for her first day outside the domain she grew up in, a band of thieves left traces of heavy theft and destruction upon her home, leaving the bloody corpses of her dead parents in the dust. Scarred, Chris went out in vain with emotional defense against anyone who tried to get close to her, but soon she encountered the wildlife that appeared so innocent and sensitive that she chose to trust them more than any other being in the region. It took a while to get the best of both worlds, but she got used to the mundane activities of humans and began to take part in them, keeping close quarters with the wildlife and striving on adventure and friendship as she continued to grow up.
