Cyber Altair
Also' date=' Defender + Greed is a bad combo. You're giving your opponent advantage in exchange for a measly 500 LP of burn per turn. Bad Reaction to Simochi + The Eye of Truth gives you extra information and inflicts 1000 LP of burn per turn. In fact, Bad Reaction in general is superior to Greed.[/quote'] your actually true about that but add a card that makes your opponent discard a card and then that combo would be better. btw i hate tEoT, your opponent gains 1000 LP if the have a spell card during thier standby phase. RedSceptile
Allows for me to clear more fields for my OTKs. Thanks, and give me plz.
The Dark One
I guess he could have some use in a deckout deck, but there really isn't much going for him. If he could attack in th same turn he was summoned, I could see him not only being good, but possibly broken, but he can't. He isn't much better than Granmarg. CrabHelmet
He's great in HSM, though. You get to draw in addition to activating your cards.

Destroys your own cards if needed. Allows for field clearing in OTKs since his effect activates even when Special Summoned. Am I missing something??? The Dark One
The problem with his use in OTKs is the need to summon him at all. The fact that he works with a Special Summon is a huge boon, but he's just another monster to get on the field. If you draw into him, you would have to find a way to discard him. I won't be rash and say he has no potential in OTKs, but I honestly don't see him being used very often in any present OTK out there.
DJWooHoo
I was wondering, i was gonig to put Kuraz into my lightsworn deck, and i was thinking that if i used realm of light, when it gets 4 counters if i could just destroy the 4 counters, and then draw the 2 cards. If so please tell me...
ShinobiDark72
Whoever thinks Kuraz is bad should go look at Cheeselord's Macro Moncarch Turbo. I may not have seen it in action, but I do see the general idea of the deck and how well it's supposed to work. Good card is Good.
tekkaman01
]^^ Protector of the Sanctuary Not what I was talking about. That works too' date=' but there is a card that does that for both players....but, ah whatever.[/quote'] O RLY???? This card combo will not work the way you want it too.If you have potector on the field, the summon Kuraz, you are not allowed to target cards on your opponents side of the field, sence (s)he is not allowed to draw. Try again...

I've dueled it on 3 separate occasions and lost each time. Came CLOSE to victory using Big Bird Deck, but still couldn't pull it off.

Purple Dinosaur
It doesn't seem like a Monarch to me. I mean, there already is a Light Monarch. Well... Thunder.

Imagine playing pot of greed 4 times in a row, for just 800 life points each time. Would you pay 3200 life points to draw 8 extra cards? I think I would, Those 8 extra cards could turn a regular turn, into the last turn of the game, with you on the winning side...
shadowferret
Well...You could always use him to clear the field of opponent monsters, then Mobius the spells and traps, and then.......Meh, I don't even like monarchs, I hate 'em... And even I'M suggesting not using him, yo....>_><_<Though I hope someone uses it on me so I can draw!
Zexaeon
Again, aiming his effect at your opponent is not maximizing his usefulness. Kuraz belongs in a Macro deck, with plenty of DDR.

Guest setojim
its a nice card for SS OTK. Reasoning. Your opponent is going to be expecting shogun or GM and will never call 6. Kuraz gets hit, kill their opposition, swing for massive damage. Also, it can help you assemble the god hand.
