As it happened, Edward's trek across the desert soon brought a nearby city into view. He turned his gaze towards it, and then back to the rocky outcrop atop which Reshiram rested and something dawned upon him. At the moment, he was in no position to take on one of the Legendary Pokemon which inhabited the island. He recalled that the others would be making their way towards the West Castle to challenge the castle lord who resided there. Thus it was that he turned back to the west and began to continue across the sands...and stopped in his tracks.

"Well hello there little fella." he said with a smile on his face as he dropped to his knees and gently rested his hand on the top of the head of a friendly little mouse-like Pokemon covered in armor plates. It growled quietly as he did so, and soon he began to scratch it behind the ears. Once it had relaxed sufficiently, he removed one of the Pokeballs from the sash around his waist and tapped it lightly against the creature's chest. The Pokemon was quickly converted to red light and entered the ball as it opened and, after a few shakes, was captured. He smiled widely, happy to have added a Sandshrew to his team.

"Well if you can't tell by now, I use to be a pokemon coordinator." Allegretto responded Aaron's question. "A good one at that. I managed to get first in the Sinnoh Grand Festival. After that, I reached the Hoen Grand Festival, getting fourth though. I was crushed." Allegretto turned to the sky. "I really didn't know what to do. For a while I gave up on everything, but then my parents got me into battling the gyms leaders. I managed to beat the sinnoh thanks to my Lopunny, the mother of my Buneary. Although I was easily taken care of at the Sinnoh League." Allegretto then paid attention to his Feebas. He once again threw a poffin at it so it can eat it. "As you can tell I kind fell in love with battling. Although I really don't think I'll make it far here, it doesn't hurt to try. Especially with someone like you in this competition." Allegretto laughed still looking at his Feebas. "I really hope that fisherman was right" he thought.

"Wow you guys, you've all done some good stuff. Me, well....first of all, I used to live in Kanto, working with my grandfather at the Pokemon Daycare...One day a trainer left a small, just caught Zubat with us. Months passed, and the trainer never came, so grandpa gave Zubat to me, and told me that, if training was what I wanted, then I should do it. I was 14 at that time..." - Leon looked down; it was the first time he spoke about it to anyone - "Zubat and I fought so many gym battles, until the last gym. That Giovanni bastard took me 10 tries, at least, the *sshole modified his Pokemons or something...then, that's as far as I reached, I couldn't beat a single Elite Four, no matter how much I tried, so Crobat and I came back home. When we got there..." - Leon's eyes began to fill with tears - "...Grandpa had passed away. I had to close the daycare, and find a job for the last months. Then, well...the invitation to the Challenge arrived, so I kinda came here...I think, that's what he would have wanted." - Leon wiped his face, and looked at the water. A group of Remoraid were jumping around with joy. Leon laughed, as they continued their trip. - "Sorry for the sour story guys..."

Yamada wrapped her arms around Leon and listened to his story as they drifted down the river. Yamada rested her head on Leon's back and sighed. "My story is even worse then yours." Yamada muttered. "I was born and raised in Castella City in Unova. The city is huge and was a large gang-hangout. My mom couldn't stand living there, but she did since she was with her husband and daughter. My mom had a Swoobat who had a baby Woobat, which was my first Pokemon. I was glad I had a Pokemon with me when my parents spilt up. I thought having a nine year old girl running around Unova with a Woobat in the middle of Winter was a good idea. But hey, at least running away let me train Winter, which what was I named Woobat. I went back to live with my dad in the city after I got three gym badges. My dad was always bringing home whores. When I was 14, I even started to live in the vacant apartment next ours. Anything to get away from the ass who was my dad. And then there was this guy." Yamada broke off, then held onto Leon tighter. "There was this guy who liked me a lot. So I dated him, and dumped him when I found out he had a PokeBoy with my face glued to all the bodies of the girls. F**king disgusting... Well, anyways, after that I started training Winter even more. She even evolved! Then the Olene Island Challenge was plastered all over the news, so I thought, why not!? I could get away from my dad! And now I'm here. Here with you guys!" Yamada hugged Leon from behind and lowered her hand very low on Leon's body.

K strolled back over to V's room to see if he got the message. She barged right in, seeing him half asleep on his bed. "Hello, V." K muttered. She glanced over at the orb and note, left untouched from when K last saw it. She walked over to V's bed and sat down next to him, leaning over his face. "Are you going to capture Groundon or not?"

Leon looked back to Yamada as she told her story - "So, you had a Woobat and I had a Zubat? Maybe Winter and Aero, that's Crobat's name, could get along, like we do." - Leon kept listening, and blushed a little when she finished her story - "Whores? PokeBoy? My my, that must have been hard. Still, with a face and a body as beautiful as yours, you should have your own magazine by now." - Leon twitched when Yamada's hand went too down, under his waist. He tried to reply to her body gestures, and placed his hands below her lower back, grabbing her butt - "That's one of the thing I love about you, Yamada. You are a naughty, naughty girl..." - Leon whispered into Yamada's ear. He then turned to the others - "Anyway, shouldn't we take this chance to catch a Water Pokemon? I'd get a Squirtle, but those live on shore. Still, there are some Remoraids and Woopers splashing near us..."

Aaron sighed and stared around the forest as the others started telling their stories. It was interesting at first; but they ended up rather depressing. Mood killing stories. He shrugged and looked back as Yamada finished her story, trying to look interested - though his attention was soon attracted by a small blue pokémon darting through the water.
He looked up at Leon's suggestion, musing about the irony of noticing the Wooper swimming through the clear river water as Leon mentioned them. "I'm a water-type specialist, so it would be great to capture some." Aaron stated, before pointing down at the river. "It'd also be a good time to train your pokémon, especially those with a disadvantage. And that wooper's mine." He said, before moving to the edge of Lapras, chuckling to himself, before turning to the others, shaking his head, and looking back at the water. "I'd normally go swimming to capture this guy. It'd be too awkward though." He muttered as he grabbed a pokéball from his belt. "Totodile, you're up." He called, tossing the pokéball skywards, little effort put into the throw.

As the Blue Crocodile landed in the water, the Wooper stopped. It turned to face the Totodile, a grin on its face as it ejected a shot of mud from its mouth. Totodile closed its eyes as the mud hit him, but shook it off easily. He laughed a bit before concentrating on Wooper, and started racing towards the Wooper. "Yo, stop!" Aaron cried, having not commanded the Headbutt. Wooper chuckled as Totodile's speedy attack was slowed by the mud in the water, and was quick to moved backwards with the current, shooting a water gun as it went. Totodile wasn't effected much, but was still unable to catch up to wooper.
"Toto, you'll never catch up with physical moves." Aaron pointed out, rather non-chalantly as he watched the match. Toto looked at him as if to say "If you've got a better plan...". Which of course, he did. "Water Pledge." Aaron said, rather dully. Toto looked at him confused, but merely shrugged before hitting him palm against the water. A wave of energy moved from the palm to the Wooper, causing the water around wooper to rocket into the sky. Although this didn't do much damage, it did leave Wooper vulnerable in the air. Aaron smirked before saying, "Jump into the Air and use Ice Punch." Toto nodded and leapt from the water, now having no Mud to slow his speed. He appeared before the Wooper rapidly, and proceded to Slam his now frozen fist into the pokémon, sending it crashing down to the water.
It was still concious when it hit the water, but was encased in a pokéball rather suddenly, to its surprise, and was caught of guard, resulting in its capture.

"And that kids, is how you have a pokémon battle." Aaron joked, chuckling at the last words said for the majority of the trip.

The rest of the trip was spent in pretty much silence, with Aaron varying between different things to stare at: The pokéball containing Wooper, his Totodile swimming alongside Lapras, the dark, empty forest around the river - which frightened Aaron a bit, the sky above them and the couple; Leon and Yamada. He stared at the latter the least, but occasionally contemplated what it would be like to have a long-term relationship. Something that he hadn't happened. To be fair, they weren't yet a long-term relationship, but Aaron could see it becoming one. He often had an intuition for that when talking about others.

He sighed and turned around, looking towards where Lapras was heading. It was mainly the same scenery they'd been seeing for the last couple of hours - a beautifully clear river, surrounded by a dark and imposing forest - and Aaron was going to turn back. Until he saw what looked like a turret in the distance. "Is that...?" He muttered to himself, before the rest of the top of the castle came into view, and Aaron beamed, turning to face the others. "Well, there's the West castle." Aaron stated, pointing to the Castle.
The River came to a bend at this point, coming not too far away from the Castle, but still a large walking distance. "This is the closest we're getting by river." Aaron stated, returning Lapras as they all unboarded, leaving Toto to walk beside him. "We'd probably best get going if we're going to get that Charmander there in time."

V yawned and looked up a K, slightly irritated by her just barging into his room - 1) because he'd thought it had been Fire, 2) Because it was quite rude - ignoring the fact she seemed to be trying to unnerve him. "Groudon? Sure, I'll believe that you actually gave up a mission to retrieve Groundon." V uttered, sardonically, as he closed his eyes again and turned to go back to sleep. However, he was struggling with K still there, and instead sat up, looking around the room, his gaze resting on the orb and the letter. He grabbed the orb, examining it for merely a moment before acknowledging it was in fact the genuine red orb, his experience with Genesis proving quite useful know.
"So, what's with the giving up the big scoop?" V asking, placing the Red Orb down, noticably closer to himself. He merely glanced at the letter before completely ignoring it.

So Archer, whats your story? Archer looked up at Victini. The two were heading off in the direction of the West Castle. "Wha'dya mean?" He asked. Your your back-story, duh! Everyone has one. Archer smiled. "Sure, why not."

MONOLOGUE

"I grew up in Hoenn. So did my dad, Edward, and my mom, Lindsey. And so did their parents. The Cambells have been a Hoenn family for years. My earliest memories are of pokemon, specifically Soldier.My dad was a trainer, and Absol was his partner. They were masters together...They were just...amazing. So my dad thought I should go into battling too. Him and the Winoa, the Fortree Gym leader--Did I mention I lived in Fortree city? No, I didn't--taught me how to battle. I was trained in quick fighting styles, often utilizing enemies blind spots. At ten years old, my first pokemon was a Treeko. Me and Treeko trained in Fortree for a while before I left and went on my journey. I caught a full team, and we were the best of friends--Sceptile, Mawile, Ninetales, Zangoose, Tentacruel, and a shiny Shedinja named Mr. Sparkles. We were the dream team. We made it through every gym and the Elite Four, but Steven beat me. That crushed me. I wanted to give up battling, so I returned to Fortree. But my dad, my mom, Winoa, and my team tried to get me back into it, but it didn't work. Then there was this girl-Judy was her name-who did get me back in. She had been a long time friend, but we were never really in a relationship. We were kinda on-again-off-again. She got me back into battling. She challenged me to a full-scale battle in the treetops. When I got the adrenaline rush of a battle again, I was set on battling again. Absol helped me too. When I was down, he came with me to battle Judy. That was the first time we fought as a team. It was a match. We didn't fight with each other again until slightly before the Olene Challenge. So then Judy, my dad, Absol, Judy's team--A Cacnaturne, Victribell, Roselia, Arbok, Ivysaur, and Shiftry--my own team, and myself went to the Battle Frontier. I'd compete in double battles with my dad or Judy sometimes, and I defeated each Frontier Brain by myself, except Pyramid King Brandon. After that, I saw commercials for the Olene Island Challenge. I decided to go, and my team stayed behind with my family, Winoa, and Judy. I miss those guys. My dad gave me Absol for the challenge, and we are really quite a team." He scratched Absol's neck, feeling his dad's pendant. "So that's my story, I guess." He looked up to the sky, thinking about his old friends. "Maybe they'll come here one day," he whispered to himself.

K sighed. It was time she told someone else besides X about her father coming to Olene. "If you must know, my father, Giovanni Ichinose, is coming to Olene with Team Rocket. I need to find him, kill him, and dump his stupid group of idiots in the ocean, or something of that nature." K explained. K then winked and left V's room.

Yamada stared into the river and a small Pokemon caught her eye. She smiled and snugged up to Leon more, as it was getting colder as the sun set. Yamada looked up to see a large castle covering the sunset, causing the sky to glow behind it. Yamada got off Lapras as they reached land and grabbed Leon's hand, interlocking her fingers with Leon's. Then she took off towards the castle in a dash, Leon's hand in her right hand, and Charmander's Pokeball in her other.

"Yamada! Not again..." - Leon sighed as Yamada carried him out of Lapras. He pulled Yamada's hand, making her stop - "Please, wait for Aaron. Hey man, let's go! You better save Lapras in the ba..." - Leon couldn't finish talking when he heard the sound of crumbling leaves coming from the forest, as if something was walking there. Leon quickly grabbed Silva's pokeball, and released her, waiting for anything that could come out of that forest. The noise of a branch cracking was heard, and a black dog with skull-like armor jumped from a high tree, landing on a lower branch, and then on the floor. - "A Houndour, isn't it?" - he grabbed his Pokedex:

Houndour, the Dark Pokemon.
It is smart enough to hunt in packs. It uses a variety of cries for communicating with others.

As Leon red the data, the dog Pokemon started houling loudly, possibly to call for back up. - "Damn, no! Silva use Metronome now!" - the Togepi moved her fingers to a side, then another, then back, moving like a metronome would. After that, Togepi's shadow grew larger behind the Houndour, and it extended a shadow punch that hit the dog from below, launching it into the air ((Shadow Sneak)). It was just at that moment that Houndour released an Ember attack, burning Togepi a bit and knocking her back. - "Walk it off, girl; it cannot move now, use Zap Cannon!!!" - Togepi got up again and looked up, extending her little arms, which started to spark up, until they formed a big ball of thunder, shot slowly at the now falling Houndour. Since it was in the middle of the air, the Houndour couldn't avoid the Zap Cannon, taking all the damage and finally falling to the ground. Leon grabbed one of his empty pokeballs, and flinged it at the near-fainted Pokemon - "You are mine now...YES!" - Leon jumped around, as the pokeball stopped moving. He grabbed it, saved it into his backpack, and then saved Silva into her own pokeball after thanking her. - "We should get going now, guys. The sun is setting, and if the other Houndours and Houndooms heard this little guy's houl, they might come soon. We must get Charmander to rest soon."

Yamada released her grip on Leon's hand and continued running. "I'm not stopping!" Yamada yelled. She looked back once to see Leon start a battle with a Houndour, then she continued her run towards the castle. A small, but dense forest sat in front of the castle. Yamada took one last look at the castle, then ran into the woods, blocking her view of the West Castle. As Yamada disappeared into the forest, the sun set, causing darkness to cover the land. Yamada started to get tired and started walking, then she stopped. She placed her hand on her hip and tried to catch her breath. She looked around to see that she ran off the path due to the darkness that sallowed the forest. She put Charmander's Pokeball away and pulled out Lillipup's. "Hello?" Yamada muttered. A low growl answered her. Yamada turned to see three large Houndooms lurking behind her. They must have the howl from the Houndour Leon was battling. One barked at Yamada. This forest was their territory, and they only alouded people to pass during the day. But now it's now, and their young are trying to sleep. Yamada gulped and screamed, dropping Lilipup's Pokeball. Yamada took off into the trees, the Houndoom on her tail. As Lillipup's Pokeball hit the ground, Lillipup was released. He looked around and picked up his Pokeball in his mouth. Then he ran into another part of the forest. Soon, he was out of the forest. He continued running back to the lake. He dropped the Pokeball and barked as loud as her could as he saw Leon and Aaron in the distance.

Aaron chuckled and watched as the couple sped off, dragging each other along, all the while imagining what it would be like to feel that. He sighed and shrugged his head, noting that he'd probably find the right person, before walking slowly after them, allowing for Al to keep up, looking around himself at the beauty of nature. He smiled to himself, before looking back at the couple, his smile wiping off his face as he saw Yamada run off from Leon, especially as he was battling a Houndour.
"Sh*t." He cursed, starting into a run as Leon caught the Houndour. "Hurry, Yamada's in trouble!" Aaron shouted as he ran past Leon, heading into the forest, missing the Lillipup exit at the same time.
Hailing from Johto, Aaron knew quite a bit about the pokémon that happened to reside there. As such, he had been taught about the behavoural patterns of Houndour and Houndoom, as a warning during his travelling. And seeing a lone Houndour this close to dusk was not a good sign, especially when it howl. It meant the rest of the pack was nearby.
He cursed himself again, this time for his relaxed nature so close to nightfall, and maneuvered through the forest desceptively lithely, dodging underbrush and fly-away branches. He did stumble over an awkward tree trunk, but managed to avoid falling, just as he heard a female scream.
Spurred on by this scream, he soon came across a small clearing in which he could see, just, the footprints of some Canine Pokémon, along with that of a human's shoes. Thanking himself that he was a water type specialist, he hoped that the combined efforts of a newly caught Wooper and an inexperienced and probably rather tired Totodile would be enough to at least delay the Houndoom.
He grabbed the pokéballs containing his land-faring pokémon and moved quietly through the underbrush, hoping not to alert the Houndoom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
V shrugged at K's last comment, in an 'I dont really give a f*ck' sort of way, dismissing K's 'family problems' and watched her leave quietly. "Someone has issues." He stated, groaning as he pushed himself up from the bed, constantly glancing towards the Red Orb. "I need a shower first." He muttered, moving over to the bathroom. After a brief pause, he grabbed the Red Orb and took it into the Bathroom with him, and spent the majority of his shower staring at it.
After he finished, he called all his Admins to his office, and when he entered he was not surprised to find Aether already there.
Edward arrived at the edge of the desert after another few hours of fighting his way through the sands. He turned his gaze to the west, and realized that it was going to take him far too long for him to walk to the castle, that is at least too long for him to walk there in one day. Regardless, he began to walk towards the west, keeping up a steady pace with his even steps. To stave off boredom, he and Ralts played "I spy" over the telepathic connection which the psychic Pokemon maintained between them.
After about an hour, whilst distracted by a particularly challenging clue which Ralts had given him, He felt something grab him by the shoulders and carry him aloft. He immediately grabbed a tighter hold of Ralts and once she was secure he looked up.
"What the?" He exclaimed as he noticed that he had been grabbed by a Fearow. He was about to tell it to put him down, until he realized that it was carrying him west. "Oh, so you're gonna help me is that it?" He laughed aloud whilst the Beak Pokemon seemed not to respond. Needless to say, flying was much faster than walking could have been, and before long West Castle came into view. He looked back up at the Fearow. "Alright, let's go down there." He pointed towards the west castle Pokemon center, but the creature didn't start to land. He continued trying to get it down, but it stayed in the air. Finally, out of frustration, he told Ralts to use hypnosis on the bird. The Pokemon was successfully put to sleep, but that wasn't exactly a good thing. He, Ralts, and this Fearow began to plummet straight down and were only saved by the lucky placement of a tree near the entrance to the Pokemon center. Laying on his back, battered and bruised from the impacts with the branches, Edward groaned as he looked up and found Ralts to be alright. The Fearow was still asleep nearby, and he tossed a Pokeball at it. The Pokemon was an easy catch, and he gradually forced himself to his feet before picking Ralts up once more and walking into the Pokemon Center.
Yamada caught her breath as she rested behind a large tree trunk. As she was running, three more Houndoom joined the group of the Houndoom already chasing Yamada. Yamada fell to her butt and sighed. If she saw another Houndoom now, she was screwed. Yamada stood up again and heard a small growl. Another lone Houndoom was creeping towards Yamada. Yamada could run away, because the only way she had to go was the way she came from, and she didn't want to run back into the six other Houndoom. The Houndoom walked up to Yamada and sniffed her leg. Yamada braced herself for a bite when the Houndoom licked her. Yamada opened an eye to see the Pokemon sitting and staring at her. "This one isn't hostile." Yamada said, then patted the Houndoom's head. She saw the Houndoom's right horn was chipped, as if he was attack. Yamada kneeled down and the two soon became friends. Yamada was giving the Houndoom an Oran Berry when a group of Houndoom, six at most, lurked past them. Yamada stood along with the friendly Houndoom, which she named Zero. The group barked. Yamada saw Aaron close by, and the Houndoom were focuased on him. The lead Houndoom jumped at Aaron, but Zero jumped at it, knocking him down. The other five Houndoom scattered into the woods and the lead Houndoom howled, then followed it's "friends". Yamada ran out and petted Zero. She glanced at Aaron. "It was lucky my new friend saved you." she said. Then she hugged Aaron and started bawling her eyes out.
Leon ran behind Aaron, until they saw Yamada. - "Ya..." - he could only stare as the Houndooms fought, and most of them left, except one that Yamada kept. When she hugged Aaron, Leon felt jealous, and looked away - "Luckily, you released Lilipup so we could find you." - Leon grabbed Lilipup from the ground, and petted him on the head. - "Come on guys, I see some light up ahead." - Leon left Lilipup on the ground and glanced toward the castle, ignoring the hugging Aaron and Yamada, the last one now crying a lot. - "Are you planning to catch that Houndoom, Yamada? It can be useful during this Castle. Still, if you won't catch it, you better let him go. He could alert some more of his pack, we don't know whether it is trustworthy or not."- with this, Leon kept walking toward the Castle.
((I wasn't actually confront the Houndoom, you understand Kotomi?))
Aaron was rather shocked at the actions of the rogue Houndoom, and quite surprised at his own lack of stealth and reaction - he had expected himself to be a lot faster from that, from experience. More evidence I'm getting old. He sighed, looking curiously at the injured Houndoom, and at Yamada.
He was even more surprised by the reaction of Yamada, who said something about her new friend saving him, before crashing into him, sobbing. Not knowing how to react really, he closed his arms around her, hugging her back, attempting to act in a 'elder-brotherly' way, attempting to comfort her.
He could hear Leon approaching a few minutes before he arrived, Lillipup in tow, and explained how Lillipup had led them to her - which Aaron said nothing about - and stated that the Houndoom might not be trustworthy.
"He's trustworthy." Aaron stated, looking from the crying Yamada to the rather quiet and friendly Houndoom. "As an expert on Johto pokémon, I know the typical behavioural aspects of most Johto native pokémon. And Houndooms are a violent species. Find a lone one, especially one that is friendly and you can be sure it was abandoned by the pack." Aaron sighed and released Yamada, hoping she had stopped crying a bit, after seeing Leon's expression; one he could not help but feel on the recieving end of. He looked at Yamada and Leon, the smiled and said: "You two run along a bit first. I'll wait for Al and train a bit."
He waved them off, before they could say anything, and pointed to the exit Leon had mention. "Go heal that Charmander." He mock-ordered, before turning back into the forest, and pulling out Totodile's pokéball, releasing the slightly tired Crocodile.
While Caldus was K.Oed, he dreamed. They weren't particularly pleasant dreams, but dreams nonetheless.
In this dream, he was sitting at an cafe with a girl, who had brown hair and blue eyes.
"They're total whores," the girl said, spitting the word out. "In fact, that's an insult to hardworking whores everywhere. They're, they're profiteers." They were looking at a stack of newspapers they'd picked up and brought to the cafe. They all contained "reporting" on a party in the Dreamyard. "To one," the girl continued. "They make it sound like a drunken, druggy orgy of kids attacked the cops."
Caldus looked at one newspaper, whose front page story described the cost of the "riot" and included the cost of washing away sleep powder from gas-bombings, the rash of asthma attack that clogged the city's emergency rooms, and the cost of processing 800 arrested "rioters".
"No ones telling our side," the girl muttered, and sighed.
"Well, the internet got it right, anyway," Caldus said, showing the blogs and videos and photostreams that had been sent to his phone to her. They looked like first-hand accounts of the people who gotten gassed and beaten up. The video showed people - Was that himself in the background? - dancing, having fun, showed the peaceful political speeches and the chant of "Take it back," and some guy talking to them being the only generation that could believe in fighting for our freedoms.
"We need to make people know about this," she said.
"Yeah," Caldus said, glumly. "That's a nice theory."
"Well, why doesn't the press ever publish our side?"
"You said it, they're whores."
"Yeah, but whores do it for the money. They could sell more papers and commercials if they had a controversy. All they have now is a crime - Controversy is much bigger."
"Okay, point taken. So why don't they do it? Well, reporters can barely search regular blogs, let alone ours. It's not as if it's a real adult-friendly place to be."
"Yeah," the girl replied. "Well, we can fix that, right?"
"Huh?"
"Write it all up.. Put it one place, with all the links. A single place where you can go that's intended for the press to find it and get the whole picture. Link to the HOWTOs for the internet. Internet users can get onto our blog, provided they don't care about the Jennies finding out what they've been surfing."
"You think it'll work?"
"Well, even if it doesn't, it's something positive to do."
"Why would they listen to us, anyway?"
"Who wouldn't listen to NLit.?"
Caldus put down his coffee, picked up his phone and slid it into his pocket. He stood up, turned around and walked out of the cafe. He kept a direction at random and kept going. His face felt tight, blood gone into his stomach, which churned.
They know who you are, Caldus' voice thought. The dreaming Caldus was merely an observer of the scene inside his dream-self's head. They know who NLit. is. That was it. If Olivia had figured it out, than the Jennies have, too. I'm doomed. I've known that since they let me go from that truck, that someday they'd come and arrest me and send me wherever Bronte had gone. It's all over.
Olivia nearly tackled Caldus as he reached Main Street. She was out of breath and looked furious.
"What the hell is your problem, mister?" she asked. Caldus shook her off and kept walking. It's all over.
She grabbed him again "Stop it, Cal, you're scaring me. Come on, talk to me."
Caldus stopped and looked at her. She blurred before his eyes. He couldn't focus on anything. Caldus had a mad desire to jump into the path of a car as it tore past us, down the middle of the road. Better to die than to go back.
"Caldus!" She did something Caldus had only seen people do in movies. She slapped me, a hard crack across my face. "Talk to me, dammit!"
Suddenly, Caldus' vision faded into white, and he woke with a start.
Caldus was laying on the floor of a ruined shrine.
Yamada wiped her eyes and let go of Aaron. She rested her head on Leon then. "Lillipup, return." She muttered grabbing his Pokeball from the ground. She glanced at Leon, then to Zero. "I'm guessing Zero was excluded from the pack, that's why he's friendly to us." Yamada forced a smiled and tossed an empty Pokeball at Zero. Zero was engulfed in a red light, then disappeared into the Pokeball. Within moments, the Pokeball buzzed and Yamada picked it up. She released Zero from the Pokeball. "I'll keep him out in case another pack shows up." Yamada then wrapped her arms around Leon's waist and went with him to the castle.
Yamada ran straight inside the castle as soon as the couple reached it. Luckily, the first room was a large Pokemon Center, complete with a large sitting area and conveniently place pillows and blankets, for those who wished to spend the night on the couches. The place was slightly empty, with only a group of five girls and three Nurse Joys. One Nurse Joy was turning the main lights off and the counter lights on when Yamada and Zero ran inside. "Hello!" the nurse said. "We're just switching to our nighttime shifts. We are open 24 hours a day!" she continued. The five girls rested on a large couch with their Pokemon. Yamada held out Charmander's Pokeball. "My Charmander's tail fire is almost out. He fell in some water." Yamada said. Nurse Joy grabbed the Pokeball. "We'll take care of this right away!" she said, then ran to the back. Yamada sat down on another large couch, oppisite of the group of girls. Zero also rested next to Yamada, placing his head on Yamada's lap.
Nearly a half hour later, Nurse Joy reappeared. She wore a large smile, which filled Yamada with relief. "Charmander is perfectly fine now! He just needs a good rest for the night." she said. Yamada smiled. "T-Thank you!" Yamada said. Nurse Joy smiled and walked back to the counter. Yamada grabbed a blanket and two pillows, then returned Zero. She then waited for Leon so she could sleep.
As soon as Aaron said that he would wait for Allegretto, he caught up. Buneary, lika always, was latched don to his leg. Allegretto was panting, with his hand on his knees. "Dam it, you guys run way too quick." he said trying to catch his breath. "I really need to get into shape. I can't believe this run tired me out." Then Leon and Yamada went towards the castle. Allegretto turned to face Aaron, who now let his Totodile out. "Well if you want to train a little, how about we have a battle. You have a really strong lapras, but you also have two other pokemon. I really don't think I can handle the Lapras, so how about we have a two on two battle. It could be a double battle or single, whatever it is I down for it."
Shortly after the Nurse Joy who had healed Yamada's Charmander returned to the counter, a very battered looking Edward emerged from a door behind it, being shooed out by another Nurse Joy who had not been present earlier.
"And don't try anything stupid like that again!" She exclaimed as he was driven out at the end of a folded fan. He carried the clothing which he had worn to cover his chest in his hands, atop of which there were set two pokeballs, which contained his Fearow and Sandshrew respectively, as well as the black sword within its scabbard. Ralts followed him quickly behind, waving a goodbye to the nurse as he walked out towards an empty couch. The absence of clothing revealed quite the muscular body which had been tanned by years of exposure to the sun and since wrapped in bandages to deal with the various injuries he had endured through his fall. He set his clothes down at one end of the couch, rolled up to function as a pillow, and was about to lay down when he noticed Ralts looking off towards Yamada and the group of girls who had since started staring at him, some of whom seemed to be oggling his form. He was immediately embarrassed as he realized what they probably thought he was doing in the back of the Pokemon Center, and his cheeks flushed accordingly.
"It's not what you think!" Were the first words out of his mouth, with the next being slow to follow. It took him a moment or two to think up how he was going to recount the events that had brought him there. "I was on my way here from the desert and had just reached the edge. Just after I had gotten out of the desert, a Fearow swooped down and grabbed me and Ralts presumably to take back to its nest. It carried us all the way over to the castle and I tried to get it to take us down. Nothing worked so I had Ralts use Hypnosis on it and...well the good news is I ultimately caught it, the bad news is we were in the air when it went to sleep and, as the saying goes, what goes up must come down." He began rubbing his hand behind his head, before laying down on the couch with his back against the cushions, presumably to sleep. Ralts, wanting to stay close to him, climbed up onto his bare chest and laid down to sleep herself.
Aaron watch as Al emerged from the undergrowth, rather scratched and, from what Aaron could see, entirely blown out. "You look like you could do with a good rest, really, rather than a battle. But I guess I'd be forced to oblige." Aaron stated, nodding his head a little bit to Totodile. "1-on-1 battle seems like the only choice, since your only other pokémon is a Feebas, and there's no water around here." Aaron stated, noting the lack of the sound of running water. "But that also means Lapras is a no-no aswell." Aaron noted, chuckling.
He looked upwards at the canopy, thinking to himself. "Anyway, your challenge is accepted. Since I'm the more experienced trainer, you may go first." Aaron stated, gesturing towards Al and Buneary.
Archer and his gang were jumping through trees in a huge, dense forest. Absol and Archer were ninja'ing their way through and Victini was levitating behind them. Trapinch was rested on Archer's head, holding on for dear life. Archer passed by a strange scene: Houndours and Houndooms were attacking Yamanda and Leon, but they seemed to have it under control. He jumped past them, still concealed in the trees. He stopped again after realizing he had turned around, but looked below to Allegretto and another familiar face preparing to battle. "Lets watch," he whispered. His pokemon nodded. Unbeknownst to them, another pokemon was watching them closely from behind.
"No good," W groaned after another failed DNA combination. He hadn't been able to get very far with his experiments. He looked around his room, examining his failed attempts. A few Eevees were grossly disfigured, with strange appendages sticking out of them. A few others...weren't so lucky. A few Eevees had transformed briefly, but then exploded from an overflow of power, leaving behind a pile of colorful dust. "I need a break," he said. He walked out of his lab and locked the doors behind him, and let out his Froslass, Banette, and Haunter to accompany him.
"Something's arisen, I presume." Aether stated, not turning to face his master, instead pulling a book down from the expansive bookshelf behind V's desk, and opening it to a random page. V glanced at the cover - The creators - Existence of the 3 - and walked over to his desk, placing the small orb on the table top with a louder than necessary thunk. This caught Aether's attention, who turned around, book still in hand. Without looking, V knew what Aether's expression must be like. And he was correct.
Underneath his glasses, his eyes widened, creating a noticable expression of awe. It only appeared for a second, before Aether corrected his slightly askew glasses and closed the book, placing it back on the shell; not taking his eye of the orb for one moment. "Is it really...?" Aether started, but V merely raised his hand in a silencing motion. "You can wait, like the others." Was all V said on the matter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Earth walked purposely towards V's office, berating himself for not staying by V's side. He didn't know what he had missed.
He barged past insignificant grunts without registering as he strode down the hall, cursing himself under his breath while contemplating what might have happened on the expedition. If V didn't say, he'd get Water to. Yeah, Water'd tell him.
Earth shrugged as he approached the entrance to V's office, knocking heavily on the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hoo hoo hoo hoooooo, I wonder what happened." Fire mused, smirking to herself as she walked calmly down the hall, ordering the pipsqueaks below her to budge if they got in her way. If they didn't listen/didn't hear, then a quick spit of fire from Flareon was often enough to make them jump out of the way.
She grinned as she remembered the last person she'd done that too, who had simultaneously lost dropped all his paperwork, and had tripped up one of his co-workers, a women holding a mug of coffee, which had spilt all over both them and the paperwork.
She chuckled once more as she and Flareon turned a corner to see Earth knocking on the office door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The grunts looked curiously as the 15 year old Air skipped down the hall, humming an unrecognisable tune to herself, trying to avoid looking at the extremely short skirt, and avoid the 4 birds that were following her down the hall, pecking at whoever's head got close enough. She seemed oblivious to both things, and so went along down the hall, as happy as can be, not really caring about what V wanted them for. "It must be impowtant." She mused, placing a finger to her lips in a thought like fashion.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Water shrugged as he got the order, waving the grunt away whoed given it. He looked up from his seat next to his pool, staring at the family of Azurill and Marill that lived in it, smiling as he watched them play. Watching them, he started to think about his own childhood. He remembered a female scream, before he shook the memory out of his head again, filling his mind with thoughts about V's new request, and what it could be about; despite his lack of interest. He sighed and grabbed a jacket off of one of the coat pegs, and shoved his hands in its pockets as he left the room, followed by a lazy looking Wartortle, who withdrew his hands into his shell, in an act not unlike Water's own.
Leon walked silently with Yamada for the rest of the path. When they entered the castle and Yamada left Charmander to the Joy, Leon sat down next to Yamada and the five girls who were there before him. One of them constantly stared at him and whispered into her friend's ear. After some time of that same scenario, when Yamada got up to grab Charmander's pokeball, both of the girls rushed toward Leon, while the other three kept staring at him. One of the girls sat next to him where Yamada was, and the other sat on Leon's lap.
"Hi! I'm Ayane! It's a pleasure to meet such a handsome man." - said the girl who was sitting next to Leon. She had bright red hair, combed into twin ponytails and green eyes. The other one, however, had black, long hair and blue eyes. - "And I'm Lily. Can we ask you a question?" - she kept staring at Leon, and started getting closer to him.
"Y-Yes? What is it?" - Leon was blushing, turning red like a Charmeleon "What's taking Yamada so long!?"
"Hey hey, don't get embarrased, we are all friends here. We just wanted to know if that one over there was..." - Lily pointed at Yamada in a despective fashion - "...your girlfriend?"
"Mmm...yes, eem well not really..." - Leon didn't actually know. They did kiss, and other stuff too...but she did that stuff with men she had just met on the ship, and she never saw them again. - "I don't think so?"
"Weee! Can we keep it Lily!?" - said Ayane, the younger girl, while jumping around.
"If he says yes we might...what do you say, honey?" - Lily started running his fingers through Leon's chest, just as Yamada returned with a blanket and a couple of pillows. - "I...I don't think so girls. See ya later." - Leon moved the girls aside and walked to Yamada. He then hugged her and kissed her - "Don't ask, really. How is Charmander?" - he grabbed the blanket and stretched it on a couch. He then waited for Yamada, so they could finally catch some sleep.
Yamada turned around and was kissed by Leon. "Ch-Charmander is fine..." Yamada said, surprised by Leon's act of lust. Yamada scoffed at two girls who stared at Leon and Yamada as they walked back to the empty couch. 'Whores.' Yamada stood as Leon lay the blanket down. Yamada then laid on top of Leon, snuggling up with him. She kissed Leon and rested her head on his chest. It just occured to Yamada that she really liked Leon. "Leon?" Yamada asked. "Are we together or not?" But by the time she finally asked, everyone was asleep. Yamada shrugged and laid her head back on Leon's chest, then difted to sleep.
Allegretto got a pokeball from his belt buckle and shot it up. "You better pay more attention." Allegretto said as a vulpix appeared from the pokeball. "That moment I dissapeared where the scorched buildings, I rescued this Vulpix, although I won't be using her to battle you. I just wanted to show you that I have three pokemon already. Now come on Buneary." Buneary hopped off of Allegretto's leg and stood in front of him.
"Well, how should I start. Buneary, I know you have this down so Meteor Swift!" Buneary opened its mouth and released a barrage of golden stars which flew diagonally up in Totodiles direction. The golden stars started to combine forming one giant one. Once all the golden stars combined, the newly formed star started to head toward Totodile's direction.
