Pokemon, the Olene Island Challenge! [PG16 -IC - Started/Always Accepting via OOC]

"Stand back!" Aaron shouted at Edward, authority and power suddenly in his voice. He held out his arm to Edward in an attempt to call him off, looking straight at X. "And run. Now. Or else you'll get caught up in something you dont want to." Aaron said, a bit softer now. He looked at Edward, his face looking much more powerful and old in the bad lighting.
[i]Totodile just wont do in this battle. [/i]Aaron thought, sighing as he looked down at the panting crocodile. It had been hit head on by that Hidden Power, and was now about to collapse. There was only one thing for it.
"I know I look a bit underpowered." Aaron started, talking to both X and Ed. "And that attack very nearly KO'd my Totodile." He looked towards X. "But I'd be much more impressed if you could deal with my next pokémon as efficiently." He stated, smiling. [i]I'm sorry Totodile.[/i] Aaron apologized, in his mind, as he pulled out two pokémon. "Totodile, Headbutt the wall." Aaron said, calmly. The totodile hesitated for a moment, but charged at the wall. As it collided, a mass of cracks ran up the wall, and water started dripping out of them. "Return." Aaron muttered, a beam of light absorbing the now unconcious totodile, as the water coming through began to increase.
"My name is Aaron Tanner. And I'm a league champion." Aaron stated, smiling at X as he through a Pokéball to the floor, releasing his momentarily stranded Lapras. He grabbed Edward and pulled him onto the back of Lapras just as the wall collapsed, causing a large flood in the Shrine. "Lapras, get us out of here." Aaron cried, as the Lapras turned and dived through the hole in the wall, fully submerging the two trainers and the Ralts for a moment. When they came out, they were on top of the Lake next to the Shrine, on the opposite side to the Zekrom battle.

Reggie sat on the SS. Anne II eating with his partner, munchlax. He thought about the pokemon he would meet on the Olene island. Hoping he would be able to catch one of the fabled Lengendary pokemon that lived there. " So munchlax what should we do when we get to the island?" Reggie asked. "munch munch!" Munchlax in a nice tone. "im thinking of catching a partner for you to play with." you could tell Munchlax was excited then. " Attention all passengers we are docking now on Olene island at legenew port." A voice over the intercom said. "Sweet munchlax lets go nab you a partner!" Reggie said as he grabbed his backpack and jolted out the room. Munchlax grabbed to apples and shuffled behind him. He leaped over the rail and landed on the beach, holding Munchlax in his hands. when he landed he headed for the beach to find a pokemon.

Reggie walked along the beach looking out at the ocean skipping some rocks. When suddenly a man jogged past him mumbling something about Miss K. Reggie had no clue who she was but had a good idea. he kept his mind off of it though as he looked into the ocean. He looked at munchlax and asked him if he could grab him a couple of rocks. When Munchlax returned with the rocks he started skipping them. but after about five rocks, one of them floated in mid air covered in a purple energy. It barely wizzed past his face. when he looked into the ocean he saw a floating yellow figure, it was a psyduck. its eyes glowed as it floated to about fifteen feet along the shore from where Reggie stood. it landed and glared at Him and Munchlax. It's eyes started to glow again and it lifted Munchlax into the air and slammed it down. Munchlax screeched and got back up. "So if you want to battle we'll battle!"

[Medivh]

Umbra sat a desk with a map of Olene on it. Around the Legendary Golem shrine, he had placed 2 figurines: One of a small dragon, the other of a bird of prey. He sipped tea from a cup that sat on a coaster beside the map.
"We will have to intervene soon if this keeps up, Haxorus." The massive Dragon standing behind the Castle Lord nodded in agreement.

[left]"Durant!" Caldus told the ant Pokemon. "Agility!" The Durant dissapeared in a flash of light, but he could do nothing about Druggion being slammed by the Hyper Voice. As the trainer saw the flock of birds rush at Quilava, he screamed at the top of his lungs "QUILAVA! JUMP, NOW-" Quilava had looked back, surprised...and distracted, and dozens of Ariel Aces hit him, sending the Pokemon flying back. Quilava wasn't K.Oed, not yet, but it couldn't even stand, as evidenced by it's struggle to get to it's feet.[/left]
[left][i]This is really bad, [/i]thought Caldus. [i]I guess it just comes down to Durant and me...[/i][/left]
[left][b][i]And me...[/i][/b]came the voice of Zekrom.[/left]
[left]"But you'r-"[/left]
[left][i][b]I can fight. It's not like I'm dead or anything. [/b][/i]Zekrom slammed his fists together, causing a discharge of electricity, and it's knuckles began to glow blue. The legendary Pokemon raised it's right arm, and a lightning bolt descended from the sky, striking Chatot (Thunderbolt) Zekrom then flew at the Flock of birds, multiple bolts of lightning flying from it's outstretched palms and into the copies, and possibly the originals (Fusion Bolt).[/left]

[Durandamon]

"Yamada wait!" - Leon couldn't react as Yamada grabbed Dino and her Charmander, and ran off. He went behind her, holding his breath, waiting to hear K or X behind them, still, he got away luckily (...) When K got the Regice, Leon jumped with his remaining pokeball in hand - "You really think you'll get away? Silva, come out!" - a white beam shot from the ball, and a Togepi appeared in front of Leon as the wall closed, leaving them trapped. The noise of the wall hitting the ground was enough to scare Dino and Silva, which made them run behind Leon - "Guys, no time to chicken out, it's our moment! Dino, use Ice Beam on Roserade and Silva use Rollout on Raichu!" - the Cubone opened it's mouth and released a white lightning bolt, that froze the ground on it's way to the rose-like Pokemon; Togepi jumped and started rolling around in a ball, rolling fast into the rat Pokemon.

"You sadistic IDIOT, you don't care about your Pokemon at all, do you?" - X laughed, seeng the Totodile headbutt the wall. His laughter ended as witnessed water come from the wall, flooding the Shrine, and Aaron escaping on top of a Lapras - "League Champion Tanner? A worthy rival. My name is Markus Xerxes Kress, leader of Genesis! Remember it, the name of your killer!" - he then grabbed a Superball from his back, and opened it against the ceiling. Inside it was a crow Pokemon with white, beard-like feathers on it's neck; the Pokemon started flying around to stretch it's wings - "No time for that, Honchrow. Fly me out!" - the Pokemon flew down, and lifted it's trainer off the water with it's beak. - "I hope nothing bad happens to that b*tch..."

[AkatsukiPride!]

"Double Team! Shadow Ball!" V and Archer shouted at the same time. Froslass and Absol both multiplied themselves, then all their clones, and the real versions, fired Shadow Balls at each other. The blasts exploded on contact with clones or other Shadow Balls, creating a large explosion. Archer stepped back and grunted. "Victini! Do something!" Victini crossed its arms, covering itself in electricity (Wild Charge) and flung itself at Froslass. [color=#ff8c00][b]Take this, you evil pokemon! [/b][/color]Victini smashed into Froslass, send it flying back. Victini, too, flew backwards with recoil. [color=#ff0000][b]Sup, b*tches! [/b][/color]Archer's eyes widened as the ceiling exploded. Standing in the light was a Deoxys and a purple Bug-like machine pokemon, a Genesect. Genesect nodded his head. [color=#4b0082][b]Yo. Were here to do the usual. Kill the bad guys, all that jazz. [/b][/color]​W grimaced. "You...you...you followed me! How? How haven't I had a reading on your energy signal?!?" Deoxys laughed an alienotic laugh. [b][color="#ff0000"]Genesect here has been covering my tracks with a different energy signal! Oh, hi Vincent. [/color][/b]He nodded at Victini. Archer turned. "Your name is Vincent?" Victini nodded. [color=#ff8c00][b]Yep.[/b][/color]Just then, something even more surprising happened. The walls exploded and a flood gushed into the room! "Argh!" W grunted. He didn't know if he could do anything now...then, Deoxys lifted Archer, Victini, Absol, Trapinch, and Regirock into the air with Psychic, leaving W, Rotom, and Froslass. "Rotom, back!" He returned Rotom so he would let electric currents flow through the water. He grabbed the Griseous Orb, trying to protect it from getting washed away. Deoxys dropped the group off a couple feet away from the shrine, safe from the flood. The first thing Archer noticed was Zekrom battling a huge crowd of birds. "Whoa," he said, "What'd we miss?"

[Pichu]

"Leon, don't!" Yamada yelled. "She too strong!" Sliva smacked into Raichu. Big mistake. Raichu shot lightning at Leon's Togepi. "Clefable. Body Slam!" K yelled pointing to the wall. Clefable smashed into the wall where the opening closed. K was surprised to see water start pouring in. "Roserade, Clefable, Raichu! Return!" K yelled saving her three Pokemon back into her Pokeballs. Yamada picked up Charmander and grabbed onto Leon. She stuck a hand in her bag to find Charmander's Pokeball, which wasn't there. "Leon! Charmander's tail! If the flame dies, Charmander dies! And I can't find his Pokeball!" Yamada started tearing up. The water was now up to their knees. A small crack in the wall caused by Clefable smashing into the wall, broke, causing more water to pour in. K ran to Yamada and Leon. "I would just leave you here, but I'm stuck too. I don't own a water type Pokemon!" K yelled. Yamada looked around and held Charmander over her head. The water was now up to Yamada's chest. K swam to the hallway opening. "The entire hallway is underwater!" K yelled. Then a large Lapras swam through the hall and into the ground. The Lapras smiled and transformed into Mew. Next to Mew, a large purple bubble appeared, with Mewtwo inside. Mewtwo grabbed K, Leon, and Leon's Pokemon. "[i]Don't question anything.[/i]" Mewtwo said. Then he teleported them out. Mew flew over to Yamada. "Mew-Mew!" it sang. The water was now making Yamada float, and Charmander's head was touching the top. "Get us out!" Yamada yelled. Just as she yelled that, more water rushed in, completely filling the chamber with water. Yamada was now underwater and she lost grip of Charmander. She looked around to see Mew and Charmander in a bubble. The bubble flew over to Yamada and the next thing she knew, she was outside next to Leon and K.

Mewtwo and Mew were far in the air by now, flying away. Yamada picked up Charmander. He was soaking wet and his tail was bare, with no flame. Yamada started crying and shoved her head into Leon's chest.

Charmander was dead.

S could only watch as the Fusion Bolt ripped through his bird swarm, destroying most of the copies and managing to hit both originals also. The remaining copies faded, and Aenir and Swellow fell to the ground by S. The latter was doing fine, this being the only attack it had taken so far. As for Aenir... [b]"You're not doing too well are you...you can't take another electrical hit like that." [/b]The Staraptor pulled itself up straight. [u]"Star!" [/u]For once, S knew exactly what he ment. My closed his eyes, and nodded slightly. [b]"Alright. Your health is so low that you'll faint from this...but thats for fighting to the end. Aenir...attack Zekrom...BRAVE BIRD!" [/b]Aenir gathered the last of his energy, and jumped of the ground. He was covered in a red glow, and hurled himself at the legendary. He connected, smashing into Zekrom's chest. However, the impact stunned him, and he crashed to the ground. [b]"Return." [/b]S sucked his Pokemon back into the Pokeball. Then he looked straight at Zekrom. [b]"You'll pay for making me do that. Let's see how you like the thunder you're so fond of throwing at me...the Chatot you just zapped...knows Mirror Move! Fire back that lightning! And Togekiss joins with Aura Sphere!" [/b]A ball of pure energy and a bolt of lightning struck Zekrom. [b]"And then there's the loser...I guess Swellow can ytake care of that Durant with Air Slash."[/b]

[AkatsukiPride!]

Archer watched as Froslass created a floating platform of ice to life W from the flood. "You! You'll never get Vincent! Or any other legendary!" He cried up at him. Deoxys and Genesect looked to the side, noticing Zekrom in trouble. Deoxys changed to his speed form, zipping over to the area in under a second. Genesect slid a yellow drive into his cannon, the Zap Drive. He followed Deoxys by creating a jet booster from his cannon.[b] [color="#4b0082"]Not! [/color][color=#ff0000]So! [/color][color=#4b0082]F[/color][color=#ff0000]a[/color][color=#4b0082]s[/color][color=#ff0000]t! [/color][/b]The two yelled together. Deoxys changed to attack form, and aimed at Togekis and Chatot, unleashing a monstrously huge blast of electricity (Zap Cannon). The blast would smash into the two, explode violently, and arc electricity everywhere. Genesect pointed at Swellow, and, by calculating perfect aim, launched a smaller blast of electric energy (Techno Blast+Zap Drive) at Swellow, which would explode into a flash of yellow energy. Victini flew over to see what happened, followed by Archer and his pokemon. Unbeknownst to them, W was flying on his ice platform high above, searching for X, K, and V.

Zekrom was sent flying back and slammed into the ground upon being hit by the suicidal Brave Bird.
[b][i]Gah![/i][/b]
The Pokemon withstood the Mirror Move easily enough - it [i]was [/i]the lord of thunder after all, but the Aura Ball did it in. After struggling for a bit, Zekrom fainted. Durant was felled with the Air Slash, it's limp body flying and crashing into the monument.
[i]No...way...[/i]Caldus dropped to his knees, about to surrender-
"QUILLLLl!"
A descending wheel of fire flew down infront of Caldus, causing a huge explosion. When the smoke cleared, [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqK0WZ4o9yc&feature=related"]Quilava stood, the flames on it's back and head huge, it's eyes glowing red. It was surrounded by a fiery aura, and the ground beneath it was cracked.[/url] It stood to face Chatot, Togekiss, and Swellow.
"QUILLLLL!" The Volcano Pokemon screamed again, and shot forth a massive Flamethrower from it's mouth, which slammed into the Swellow and sent it crashing down to earth. It then covered itself in flames and spun in one place, charging an already insanely powerful Flame Wheel. It then sped forward, the Flame Wheel cracking and ripping up the ground in it's path. The Quilava hit Chatot dead on, then bounced off of it and into the air above Togekiss. Quilava's flames then grew even larger and more intense, and they surrounded the Pokemon, creating an aura of fire in the likeness of Moltres. Quilava flew down at Togekiss at ridiculous speed, hitting it directly and causing both Pokemon to go flying back. Quilava landed on it's feet. Turning around, it flashed a grin at it's new trainer. Flare Blitz was not without it's sacrifices, however, and Quilava fell to the floor, K.Od by the recoil damage.

"Munchlax use tackle!" Reggie yelled at his Munchlax. Munchlax muffled along the ground like a mouse and nailed pysduck in the hip. Aftert recovering from the blow the psyduck jumped back and shot a jet stream of water at Munchlax (water gun). Munchlax crossed his arms as if to block but the jet stream flew at his face. It had looked as if Munchlax was out in the rain. He kneeled down huffing and puffing. Reggie thought[color="#ee82ee"] [i]If Munchlax takes anymore he'll faint for sure, but if i get a good move i could lower the psyduck down to low health! [/i][/color]" Munchlax go now use metronome!" Reggie roared! Munchlax started to glow. An electrical net flew at psyduck! "Yes! an electric type move!" Reggie screamed! now psyduck and munchlax were harmonicly huffing and puffing. [i][color=#EE82EE]Well if now is as good as any other time. [/color][/i]Reggie took the only other pokeball he had and plopped it to full size. " Go Pokeball!" Reggie yelled.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Edward was in a daze after everything that had happened, and he had since grabbed hold of Ralts rather than allow her to be caught in the coming flood. The revelation that Aaron was a league champion had taken him by surprise, as had the surprising strength which his Totodile demonstrated by breaking through the wall. The next thing he knew the chamber had been filled with water and he had been pulled onto the back of a Lapras with his Ralts. Once they had shot through the waters, he had curled tightly around the young Pokemon in his lap instinctively to protect them. Moments later they exploded out onto the surface and he and his Pokemon began gasping for air.

"What...the hell were you thinking? You could have drowned us!" He spoke as soon as he had the breath to, his gaze turned directly towards the trainer sitting in front of him on the Lapras' back whilst his Ralts began looking around and was obviously glad to be out of the subterranean ruins. "And suppose there was a Charmander down there! Little guy like that isn't going to be able to-" He was immediately cut off as he caught sight of a white form rocketing across the skies. It appeared to be a Dragon with some sort of bizarre engine for it's tail, and he was awestruck by it's appearance.

[Durandamon]

"Silva!" - Leon cried, as his Togepi was struck by lightning, making it faint. When the water started pouring inside, Leon quickly saved Silva and Dino into their Pokeballs. - "Really, you're stuck? You should have known, RIGHT!?" - as the water rose, Leon held Yamada tight so she didn't drown. When the water was at it's highest level, Leon couldn't see Charmander anymore. Mew teleported everyone outside, and Leon could finally breath, but not for much; Yamada found the body of Charmander, soaked and lifeless. She shoved her head into his chest, and Leon hugged her, a couple of tears running down his cheek. This was the first time, in all of his years of taking care of Pokemon, that he had seen a dead one. He looked like he was sleeping, so peaceful. Leon couldn't help but cry too. - "Y-Yamada..." - Leon was seeing red; if K hadn't cracked that wall, Charmander would still be alive. Still, with Yamada there, he didn't want to let her go - "It's okay, Yamada. H-He is in a better place now."

X left the Shrine as the water reached the top. Honchkrow shook his wings to dry them off, as X put him into the Pokeball. He walked around to see if anything happened outside, when he saw K and the couple from before soaking wet outside the Shrine and started walking towards them. - "On a second thought, I'll leave this one to her." - He turned around, and left to the other side.

[ListenToLife]

"Lapras, Ice Beam that hole before more water escapes." Aaron said, sighing as he relaxed onto the back of Lapras' shell. The hole was closed for now, and atleast until the weather got warmer, and the Lake was only half empty. However, the banks were still quite tall, from the water's surface to the ground above being the height of Lapras. "Let's full this Lake again Lapras. Rain dance." Aaron added, as Lapras began to swim in a wave like pattern. After a few minutes, the skies clouded over and erupted into rather heavy rain, quickly filling the Lake, so that they could see the shore.

Aaron looked at the now darkened skies, watching as a small black streak escaped from the crumbling shrine. "The lucky bastard." Aaron muttered, inaubible to Edward, as he motioned for Lapras to move towards the shore. As it flowed calmly across the lake, Aaron looked back at the temple, being able to faintly see what had happened on the other side. [i]Zekrom?![/i] He thought, confused as he looked at the now unconcious legendary, barely able to think of what could've downed such a pokémon.
He turned to Edward after this, waving away his questions with a flick of his hand. "I did what I had to do for the sake of many people and pokémon alike. We cant have people as powerful this owning pokémon like the Regis. The world would be in danger, and I am obligated to prevent that where possible. I am responsible for my region, and the pokémon world itself." Aaron answered, not looking Edward in the eyes. Despite knowing what he did was right, and that he did what he should've done, he was feeling quite guilty, and the last words he heard X say we're quite disturbing. [i]You're Sadistic.[/i] These words tumbled around in his head as he thought of his command to Totodile. He was relieved that Toto was still okay, but he still felt quite horrible. But now that Edward knew he was a league Champion, he'd have to act like one.

Or did he?

"Look, among all those on Olene Island, only you know who I really am. And I'd like to keep it that way, okay? Please, dont tell anyone." Aaron asked, although in his mind he saw himself begging, as he looked towards the shore. He could see people, two on one side and one on the other. "Look's like we're running into that Girl again." Aaron stated, as his Lapras closed in on the shore.

The ball rebounded off the psyducks head and sucked the creature in. It wobbled three times and stopped. Reggie waited for the psyduck to come back out, but suprisingly it didn't. Munchlax muffled over to the pokeball and brought it to reggie. He screamed in excitment " Munchlax do you know what this means! It means that we can actually challenge somebody and win! Well that didn't go easy on us. But still!" He picked up munchlax and threw him in the air. When he landed we waddled around in joy. Reggie spoke as if he had been a pokemon master, "Munchlax lets go find us a trainer to battle!" He walked for about half an hour when he came across a clearing in the chain of trees he was walking through. From there he saw an intresting thing, pidove, pidgey, spearow, and other flying type pokemon flying away from a tremendous amount of distortion in the sky.So he realeased Psyduck and walked toward the mountains with his two companions. [color=#EE82EE][i]Let us hope in the name of Ho Oh and Lugia theres not trouble over there.[/i][/color]

K's face was blank. Her inner Kotomi was coming out. K closed her eyes trying to hold back tears.

[b]FLASHBACK TIME![/b]
[i]K was now sitting next to a Furret and a Pichu. K was about 9 years old and was known as Kotomi. Her mother and father were moving large boxes from their home. "What are you doing, daddy?" the young Kotomi asked. Her father, Giovanni, smiled and patted his little girl's head. "We're moving to Viridian City, Kotomi! I'm now the gym leader there, so we'll need to live closer to the gym." he said. [/i]
[i]Now Kotomi was about 14 and she was sitting next to her father in the Viridian City gym. She was surrounded by a Pikachu, a Furret, a Clefairy, and an Igglybuff. Giovanni stood from his seat. "Kotomi," he started. "Why don't you quit playing with you Pokemon and follow me." he said. Kotomi nodded and pulled out four Pokeballs, which the four Pokemon retreated to. [/i]
[i]Giovanni and Kotomi walked down a long hallway. "Where are we going, dad?" Kotomi asked. "My lab." her father replied. He opened a door to a large room full of people in labcoats. Each labcoat had the letter [color=#FF0000][b]R [/b][/color]painted on them. Kotomi stopped. "I don't want to see your Team Rocket stuff, dad." Kotomi said, not moving from the doorway. Giovanni cursed under his breath. "Why must my daughter have a pure heart?" Giovanni muttered. "I want to show you a Pokemon." he continued. "You're not hurting it, are you?" Kotomi asked pulling out a Pokeball, as if she was ready to rescue it. "No, no! Trust me!" Giovanni said. Kotomi stepped into the lab and followed her dad. She still held the Pokeball in her hand. [/i]
[i]Giovanni lead her to a large test tube containing Mewtwo. "Look, Kotomi!" Giovanni said. "This is Mewtwo!" Kotomi grabbed a second Pokeball. "You're hurting it!" Kotomi yelled letting out two Pokemon, Pikachu and Furret. "No, Kotomi, no! It's just not used to you." Giovanni said. "Furret use Quick Attack!" Kotomi yelled and pointed at the tube with Mewtwo. Nothing happened. "Let him go!" Kotomi yelled. Giovanni muttered something. "Kotomi, you simply don't get it do you?" Giovanni cursed. "Of course the damn thing is hurting, it doesn't want to be here! But we're making it the greatest Pokemon ever!" Giovanni said. Kotomi screamed and pushed her father, then ran away, her Furret and Pikachu following.[/i]
[i]Kotomi was now 15 and just getting back into Viridian City. Now, a Raichu, Furret, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and a Smoochum followed her. She walked into the gym and into the back, where Kotomi and her father lived. Her mother had moved out to get away from her father and Team Rocket. Kotomi turned on the TV to see a news broadcast happening. The reporter spoke; "The unknown Pokemon was seen flying away from what is left of this lab, which we just found out was controlled by Team Rocket. Rocket fled the scene, with some left behind. There are a confirmed seven dead and four injured in the explosion." Kotomi muttered something and returned her Pokemon, except for Raichu and Furret. [/i]
[i]Kotomi, Raichi, and Furret were now running around the inside of the gym, searching for her father. He was talking to several Rocket grunts. "Dad!" Kotomi yelled. "I told you that you were hurting it!" Giovanni sent out a Nidoking. "Kotomi," he said. "You can't tell anyone about Mewtwo!" he continued. "Or what!?" she yelled. Giovanni looked down. "Fine. Guess we'll do it my way. Nidoking use Shadow Claw." Giovanni ordered. Nidoking jumped at Kotomi and attacked, knocking Kotomi to the ground. Furret and Raichu ran up to Kotomi. "Rai!" Raichu muttered. Furret became very angry and jumped at Giovanni. "No, Furret, don't!"[/i]
[i]Kotomi was now outside in the pouring rain. Her arm was in a sling and her mother was standing behind her. Raichu, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and Smoochum stood by her. Kotomi had just finished filling in a hole of dirt. "He killed him..." Kotomi muttered. She placed a rock with the word "Furret" on it on the pile of dirt. Kotomi's mother placed a hand on Kotomi's shoulder. "It's ok, Kotomi. He's save now." her mother said. A single tear ran down Kotomi's face, covering with rain.[/i]

Yamada place Charmander's body on the ground. Then she turned to K. "You..." Yamada muttered. "You did this." K was speechless. "You have the right to be mad." K said. "I know what it feels like to lose a Pokemon." K nodded and simply walked away. Yamada didn't bother to follow. She picked up Charmander again. "This is the first time I've ever seen a dead Pokemon." Yamada said. Then a cry was heard from behind Yamada. She turned to see another Charmander. "Charmander?" she asked, then looked into her arms to see the body of her Charmander. The other Charmander smiled and transformed into, you guessed it, [s]Budew[/s] Mew! Mew flew up to Yamada and her lifeless Charmander. "I know, you tried to help, Mew, but it was no use. Charmander's flame went out." Yamada explained. Mew looked up at Yamada, then a pink bubble appeared around Mew and Charmander, causing both of them to fly into the air. "Mew, Mew!" The bubbles popped and the Charmander's body fell back into Yamada's arms. Mew winked at Yamada and flew off. Yamada looked down at Charmander to see a small flame burning. Yamada's eyes swelled up with tears. "There's a flame, Leon!" Yamada yelled, showing Leon. "Mew must have did something! But the flame is so small. It's dying out. We need to get to a Pokemon Center, quick!"

Mewtwo and Mew flew over to the large battle going on between many legendaries and flying type Pokemon. Mewtwo zipped past Swellow, sending a Shadow Ball right into it's face, then sped by Togekiss, shoving it to the ground with a strong Mach Punch. Mew blasted a Solarbeam at Chatot.

Leon's desire for starting hitting women was almost stronger that his own common sense. When he started clenching his fists, another Charmander appeared, and transformed into Mew - "Okay, I think I'm high now." - he was left speechless as Mew rose into a bubble, and gave Charmander its life back, barely - "Wow, Yamada! This is unbelievable! Damn let's hurry! We don't have flying Pokemon with us, so we must walk back to Desec." - Leon grabbed Charmander out of Yamada's arms and covered it with his coat, to dry him off and to keep him warm. He had to look away from its body; the tears were starting to fall over Charmander - "I...th-this woman. I never said this before, but...I hope she dies. And if she doesn't die...I'll kill her, with my bare hands." - he started walking away, past the Genesis grunts, towards Desec Town.

"No!" Yamada yelled grabbing Leon's arm. "We've made this far. If we leave now, we can make it to the West Castle by two in the morning. There has to be a Pokemon Center there, right?" Yamada looked down into the large pit in the ground, which water was pouring back in, but extremly slowly. A small Pokeball rose to surface. Charmander's. Yamada carefully walked down to the water after Leon took Charmander. She picked it up and returned Charmander. "This will keep him safe for now." she said climbing out of the large pit. "Let's go." Yamada grabbed Leon's hand and started walking away.

[i]'It's only been two days, but we've been through so much. We've gotten our first Pokemon, captured Pokemon, kissed, and even did dirtier stuff. We've even seen three legendary Pokemon, Mew, Mewtwo, and Regice! If we've done this much together, I wonder what else will happen if we stick together.'[/i]

Mewtwo and Mew flew next to Dexoys and Genesect. Mewtwo saw the large Zekrom go down.
[color=#800080]"It's just like Team Rocket and Galatic, isn't it, Dexoys?" [/color]Mewtwo said. [color=#800080]"They both tried to snatch legends, but failed. What sets them apart from Mamga, Aqua, Cipher, and Plasma is that they've tried to capture many. Genesis is doing better than all of them combined. At least Snaggem just wanted to steal Pokemon that weren't legends. But I believe Genesis will be stopped."[/color]

Genesect and Deoxys nodded. [color=#ff0000][b]Of all people, you know these things the best, Mewtwo. You were involved with Rocket before my species was even born from a space virus being hit by a laser beam. [/b][/color][b][color=#4b0082]Yeah, I know pretty well too. After all, I was brought back and "upgraded" by Plasma. A member of their team taking them down? Unheard of. [/color][/b]The two looked at each other, then at the Mew Duo, then at Zekrom, then at Victini. [color="#ff0000"][b]A lot happened here. Wonder what the rest of their plan is? Whatever it may be, we have to protect this island. [/b][/color][b][color=#4b0082]We swore that if this island ever faced a threat, we would destroy it. [/color][/b]The two looked around again, this time checking over the carnage and who was walking away. They noticed a couple heading west, one of the Genesis admins leaving in tears, and another flying on a giant platform of ice. [color=#ff0000][b]I don't like that guy. He want to capture me and use me for his "experiments." Whatever that means. [/b][/color][b][color=#4b0082]Remember, he already has a bit of your DNA. He can do a lot with that. [/color][/b]The two looked around one more time, this time at Archer and Victini watching from below. Deoxys waved.

Umbra chuckled, picking the small dragon piece up above the map and knocked the bird figure over with it. He then added two more game pieces to the shrine area -a sun and a moon. "Things are getting interesting." The castle lord told Haxorus. "That child has improved, though not by much. Lady Luck was on his side today - let's see how much she favors him." The Haxorus solemnly sharpens its claws, grunting in approval. "And Zekrom - I'm not surprised he went down. He has been trapped under his shrine for several years." Umbra continued, then chuckled again. "We were the ones that put him there, remember?"

THREE YEARS AGO

WHO DARES TO INVADE MY DOMAIN?! Roared the voice of Zekrom.
"Venator," replied Umbra. "Haxorus, Dragon Claw." The dragon complied and eagerly kept at Zekrom, claws glowing purple. The legendary Pokemon roared and countered with its own Dragon Claw, the two Dragons colliding in the air. The Zekrom sidesteeped Haxorus' Dragon Claw and struck it in theback with its own. Umbra grinned. Haxorus knew what to do, and struck back with a Payback, its power increased. Zekrom grunted and its body glew with energy and it unleashed several lightning bolts at Haxorus. "Brick Break," commanded Umbra, and Haxorus' fists flew silver and it punched through the lightning, hitting Zekrom in the gut. The legendary dragon stumbled back. Suddenly, multiplie bolts of energy struck Haxorus dead on (Fusion Bolt). The Haxorus flew backwards, injured greatly, compliments of its low defense. The Haxorus roared, its claws glowing red, and the enraged Pokemon lept at Zekrom, slashing it twice and dealing massive damage (Counter). Zekrom again stumbled back, and fell. It got up, but its breathing was labored and it had to lean on its shrine to stay on its feet. "Double Team," said Umbra. Haxorus flickered and multiple copies of it appeared, forming a circle around the shrine. It was over. The dragons were simply a firing squad waiting for the order to shoot. "I'll go easy on you," the castle lord told the fallen Pokemon. "False Swipe."All of the Haxorus' claws shone silver, and they slashed Zekrom.
ARGHH! Yelled Zekrom, its scream piercing the night.

S could only gasp as the flurry of attacks connected, and his Pokemon crashed to the ground. Togekiss and Chatot fainted instantly, but Swellow struggled weakly to it's feet. [b]"So it's turned into a gang beat, huh? Well that's OK...I got what I wanted.[/b] He pulled out four Pokeballs in quick succession. The first three recalled his birds, and the fourth absorbed Zekrom. S put them into the carrying pouch on his right hip. The he addressed Caldus. [b]"You really are pathetic. You fight me with your team, the Lord of Thunder, and even more Legendaries helping you. And look at who won! Me! But I won't stick around to celebrate my victory...I'm an easy target right now." [/b]He walked to his motorcycle, and jumped on. He saw X walking around the shrine, and raced over to him. [b]"Hey, boss. I got the legend. You want it, or shall I hang on to it?"[/b]

Victini growled at S, and began to fly after him. Archer grabbed him before he could get anywhere. "What d'ya think you're doing?" Victini wiggled out of his grasp. [color=#ff8c00][b]Lemme at him! C'mon! Lets see how he acts when the Prince of Victory fights him! [/b][/color]Archer sighed. "Vincent, we need to leave this be." Victini made a groaning sound. "Besides, all his pokemon are weakened . It'd be unfair." [color=#ff8c00][b]I guess...But next time we come across any Genesis Admins, I want at em'! [/b][/color]Archer smiled. "Sure, [i]Vincent."[/i]

Aaron's response to Edward's statement shook the younger boy from his moment of revere upon the sight of Reshiram in the distance. By the time he had looked back, the Vast White Pokemon had vanished behind the suddenly gathered dark clouds. He vowed to himself that he would find that Pokemon again before he turned his gaze back towards the newly revealed League Champion. He couldn't help but feel the guilt emanating off of his new found friend and began to reconsider what he had said about flooding the shrine.

"Yeah, I'll keep my mouth shut about...you know." His sentence trailed off so that the last two words were almost inaudible. As Lapras began to make his way to shore, Edward caught sight of a pair of other trainers on the shoreline accompanied by a Pokemon straight out of legends. However, a sudden thought occurred to him that shook the sights of two legendary Pokemon completely out of his mind.

"Wait a second...Where's Al?"

Aaron sighed as he approached the shore, watching as K walked away, with what seemed to be tears streaming down her cheek, though it was difficult to tell in the pouring rain. He looked up at the sky, ignoring the raindrops falling onto his face as he scanned the skies for anything, any movement what-so-ever. He thought he saw a small group of pokémon flying towards the temple, but shrugged it away.
He turned his attention back towards the Shore, which they had now arrived at, and leapt onto the solid ground. He walked towards Leon and Yamada, who were starting to walk away, holding a Pokéball. "Yo, guys. Weird day so far huh?" He stated, leaving Lapras out of her pokéball incase Genesis came back, or they needed to get somewhere. "Where's the rush to? My Lapras could probably get you there faster." Aaron pointed out, half wondering the same thing as Edward. Where was Al?

A short burst of laughter erupted from the trees as K walked past. V smirked as he exited the shelter of the trees, looking to the sky. "Looks like he arrived. We've got trouble on our hands." He muttered, before facing K, his smirk as wide as ever. "I didn't know you were so sensitive K. Is that tears I see?" V asked, almost laughing. He looked back towards where he presumed the kids were. "I could always go back there and destroy them. Or do you order me not to?" V joked, before turning to look back at the temple. "We should probably be getting back to X though."

Water looked around, trying to contain the chaos the Latest battles had caused. The entrance to the temple had been blocked, and the entire temple was looking incredibly fragile, so all the grunts had been ordered away from the structure. Meanwhile, all the equipment had been devastated, so the grunts had been organised into teams to clear up the mess, and possibly save any still working equipment.
"I dont envy the Admins." Water muttered, looking at the slowly filling lake before turning back to the grunts, creating an awkward site, a 9 year old boy ordering around multiple adult grunts.

"Yeah, I'm sure the Castle has a Pokemon Center. We can get there at about two or three in the morning, spend the night there and challenge the castle Lord in the morning." - Leon sighed in relief as Yamada found Charmander's Pokeball. When they started walking, Leon wiped the tears from Yamada's face, and ran his hand down her cheek in a caress, before holding her hand again. - "We've been through so much together, and it's just been two days, right? We've captured Pokemon, you got a shiny, and a lot of other stuff. I still haven't asked, what were you doing before we met at the ship? Well, appart from three older men, of course." - Leon joked, and realized he knew nothing about anyone there, except for the man, Aaron was it? A League Champion. Leon was starting to feel homesick; Crobat must feel alone in the day care...

*FLASHBACK*

*3 YEARS AGO*
"Are you sure about this, ma son?" - Leon's grandfather was standing at his door, with Leon's backpack on his hand.
"Yes grampa! I wanna be a master someday, so I gotta start now!" - a younger, freckled version of Leon stood at the door, with a Zubat resting on his shoulder. He grabbed his backpack, and left, waving at his grandfather - "I'm 14 Gramps, nothing will happen to me now! Besides, I have the Zubat you gave me to help!" - Leon left not knowing that was the last time he would see Grandpa Harran.

*2 YEARS AGO*
Leon was a little taller, and his Zubat had evolved into a Golbat. After all those battles, he had finally reached Giovanni, the last Gym Trainer and had defeated most of its Pokemon.
"Golbat, use Aerial Ace on that Nidoking!" - the bat Pokemon attacked by flying to the Nidoking, with an almost supersonic speed.
"You IDIOT, Nidoking, use Megahorn!" - as Golbat approached Nidoking, the Drill Pokemon rammed its horn against it, leaving it almost fainted.
"GOLBAT!" - the bat Pokemon started flying again, barely able to move - "The last move Golbat, I promise. Use Brave Bird!" - Golbat, using the last of his strength, flew up, closed its wings and dived at Nidoking. With the extreme speed granted by the dive, Golbat started glowing blue, then white. Wait, WHITE? Brave Bird is blue, right!? Golbat hit its target, and fell to the ground, fainted but still with a white glow. When the glow dissapeared, Golbat was different: although still fainted, it was purple, and its body was larger, with two pairs of sharp wings; Golbat was officially a grown Crobat now.

*1 YEAR AGO*
Leon was now a tall 16-year-old man, sitting at the stairs of Indigo Plateau.
"Crobat...this is the fifth time we try to win the League. We should just give up while we are ahead..." - he started walking back home to Pallet, tears rolling down his face.

*6 MONTHS AGO*
"Grandpa...why?" - Leon had just arrived home after two and a half years. There was no sign of his grandfather, just a note on the door of the day care that said the date of Remus Harran Senior's funeral, that had happened a week before. Crobat was on Leon's shoulder, mourning the death of his original owner. Leon entered the house - "I left to make your dream true, right? You wanted me to become someone...I'm a zero. I couldn't do anything, and now you are...d-dead. I can't even take care of Pokemons like you; I don't know if I should continue..." - (...) Leon closed the Kanto Day Care a week after that, and it was never open again. Months passed, two, three, four months. Leon never left the house, or moved from his bed all that time. When he finally left, all the plants were dead for lack of water, and the mailbox was filled with letters. He picked up the most recent letter, an invitation!? It red: "Estimated Leon Harran, for your impressive battling skills, we are proud to invite you to join us in the Olene Island Challenge for trainers! Please respond to this invitation as soon as you read it and you shall be mailed back with the rules for the challenge." Leon teared up a bit. It was the first time he thought about training again. He opened his Pokeballs for the first time in months, to see his Pokemon happy to be free again (...) .

*1 WEEK AGO*
Before leaving, Leon left his Crobat, as well as Gardevoir, Umbreon, Espeon, Slowking and Ledian in charge of his neighbor, who was a close friend of Leon's grandfather Remus.

X saw S coming to him on his motorcycle, and stopped walking. - "Legendary? Let me see..." - X inspectioned the Pokeball, to find out it was Zekrom's - "I see, we came for the Regis and we get Zekrom? Next time let's search for Uxie, we might find Mewtwo. Keep this one for a while, would you? But first..." - X grabbed the Pokeball, and broke it onto the ground, releasing Zekrom; just before it could react, X pulled out a purple Master Ball, and captured Zekrom again - "This will be more useful for a Pokemon so powerful." - He handed the Master Ball with Zekrom inside to S, and kept walking.
