Pokemon, the Olene Island Challenge! [PG16 -IC - Started/Always Accepting via OOC]

Aaron opened one eye at the commotion being caused. It sounded a bit petty, but after picking up a few words (Slut, Whore, Fire, Battle, etc) he decided it was becoming serious enough, and two of the participants were his friends. He yawned and pushed himself up from the chair, moving across the hall and nodding to the Joy again - who blushed after realising who he was - before following the group outside. He stood at the edge of the field for the first few minutes, occasionally glancing over to the forest, where he was sure Crocka would be watching. He sighed and turned his attention to the battlers.
"Oi!" He shouted, getting their attention. "I'm reffing this match, kay? No dirty stuff." He stated, before leaning against a wall, rather relaxed for a referee.

[color=#a52a2a]"Dustox, Naomi? Then I'll just have to go with Lombre." [/color]- when they were outside, Lily opened a Pokeball containing a Kappa-like Pokemon, that started jumping around when released.

[color=#800080]"And I left Silva and Dino back there, so I'll have to go with you. Mr. Churchill, rock out!"[/color] - Leon throwed a Pokeball next to Zero, and a Houndour appeared, ready to battle. - [color=#800080]"Okay Winston, let's do this thing :like a sir: okay?"[/color] - When he heard his trainer, Winston Churchill the Houndour sat in a gentleman-esque pose. - [color=#800080]"Indeed, my comrade. Are you ready as well, Amber? Zero?" [/color]- When Leon realized Aaron was there, he laughed in relief -[color=#800080] "Oh, how do you feel this morning, my beloved friendly companionship? I'm glad to see you partaking on this event so early in the morning, and I hope it doesn't bother you."[/color] - Leon giggled at his "like a sir" performance, after all that's why he named Houndour Winston.

[color=#a52a2a]"Shut up, damn! Let's give this whore the first move, it's the only one she'll get."[/color]

Yamada smiled at Aaron when he decided to ref the match. "Good. We're already the favorite!" Yamada giggled. Then she heard Lily's remark. Naomi laughed. "Dustox will take those stupid little mutts down!" Naomi laughed. Zero growled and barked, completely pissed. Yamada had a small glem in her eyes. "Zero use Flamethrower." Yamada muttered. Zero barked and smiled. "Hound!" he cried, then sent a stream of fire straight at Dustox, causing Dustox to drop to the ground. Naomi gasped. "No, Dustox! She's burned!" she yelled. Yamada smiled. "That's for calling me a whore!"

Hex trudged forward as the castle loomed over him. Thank God, the Pokemon Center was there! After a quick trip to Nurse Joy, Hex went outside to find a battle between a pair of sluty looking chicks and a boy-girl duo. Hex smiled to himself. "May as well watch." he muttered. He saw the Houndoom with the missing horn burn the Dustox with a nasty Flamethrower. Nice! That was one helluva Pokemon! He went over to the apparent referee of the match. "Excuse me, but where the hell am I?"

Aaron smiled and nodded his head slightly, mentally complimenting Yamada's attack. It certainly was a powerful Houndoom she'd captured. He sighed and looked towards the two girls, looking to see what their reaction would be. They were already put in a difficult position, with one pokémon half down and type disadvantages.

He sighed as he was approached by some new person, a guy not much older than Yamada and Leon, asking about where they were. "Hahaha, not that good with maps eh?" Aaron chuckled, in a friendly sort of way. "At the West castle. I'd presume it's not where you're looking for?" Aaron half asked, half stated. He merely shrugged and turned back towards the match. "Why dont you stay a while and watch the battle?" He suggested.

[Piercer of the Heavens]

Allegretto awoke by the small lake, realizing that he fell asleep outside. He looked to his left to see Vulpix snuggled next to him. He looked to his right and his back pack was on his side. "I guess it fell while I slept." Allegrettto stood up waking up vulpix in the process. He got his backpack, but felt something weird; it was lighter than usual. He checked inside only to realize that all the poffins which increase beauty were gone. "What?!" he turned to vulpix. "Who did this?!" he asked. Vulpix looked at the lake, where bubbles were breaching the surface. "Wild pokemon did this?" Allegretto said looking at the bubbles. Within a second or so his Feebas reached surfaced. It looked really chubby. "Feebas?! You ate all the poffins." Allegretto asked it. Feebas looked at him and then nodded. Allegretto's response wasn't what one would expect. " Well I see your finally trying to increase your beauty as well. Good job, if you want I'll make more as soon as we get Buneary back." He then proceeded to return his pokemon to their pokeballs.

It didn't take long for him to reach the pokemon center where he picked up Buneary. "There you are looking as beautiful as ever. Don't worry about yesterday, you did the best you could. You even surpassed my expectations." Allegretto then walked outside only to see a battle going on. "Hmmmm, this looks interesting. I guess I'll watch this battle." He then leaned against the wall that Aaron was on. "So who do you think will win this." he asked Aaron.

Hex froze up for a second. West Castle?! Home of a Castle Lord?! Oh man, was he far off. He would have to play it cool if he didn't want to arouse suspicion. He nodded at the referee and smiled. "Yeah, not so great with the directions and whatnot." He looked back to the match. "Yeah, I think I'll stay here awhile. Things seem to be heating up!" He watched as the battle gained the attention of yet another trainer, who walked up to the ref and asked him his thoughts on the match. [i]Hmmm,[/i] Hex thought to himself,[i]Seems as though they know each other, maybe their traveling in a group?[/i] He pondered this as the match continued.

[color=#b22222]"Damn it Naomi, focus! Lombre use Scald on Houndour!"[/color] - Lily's Pokemon shot a squirt of boiling water that hit Winston on the face, making him howl -[color=#800080] "Winston! Come on, we can do this! Get up and use Smog!"[/color] - the Houndour got up, opened his mouth and released a thick, black fog that covered the field between Lily and Leon in darkness. The attack hit Lombre, as it was heard that it was coughing, and probably poisoned - [color=#800080]"Now use Bite!"[/color] - Leon couldn't see due to the thick fog, but he could hear a crunch, indicating that Winston had succesfully biten Lombre. - [color=#800080]"Nice job man! Try using Ember now!"[/color]

[color=#b22222]"Not so fast! Lombre use Rock Smash!"[/color] - Another crunch was heard, and another howl from Houndour. When the fog finally cleared, Winston was on the floor, almost fainted, but so was Lombre, who also had a severe poisoning.

[color=#b22222]"Oh my god, you poisoned my poor Lombre! This is the worst date, in like, forever!"[/color]

Naomi pointed at Zero. "Dustox, let's use Gust!" Dustox flew up into the air and sent a large gust of wind at Zero, causing him to fly back. "Now, Dustox use Tackle!" Naomi yelled. Dustox shot at Zero. "Zero, counter with Headbutt!" Yamada yelled. Zero forced his horns into the incoming Dustox, causing it to fly to Naomi's feet. "Dustox!" she yelled. Then the burn finished Dustox. Naomi returned Dustox and walked away, pouting. Yamada realized the fight was now two to one. "Ok, Zero! Let's get rid of Lombre with a Bite!" Zero lunged at Lombre, jaws wide open, then closing around Lombre's torso.

[/color][/b]- Lily cried, as Lombre was trapped between Zero's jaws - [color=#b22222]"I know, use Flash, now!"[/color] - Lombre blinked fast, and his eyes turned totally white, releasing a flash that blinded Zero, making him drop Lombre. - [color=#b22222]"Right on! Now use Echoed Voice!"[/color] - before Winston or Zero could recover, Lombre started creating an uproar, which hurt everybody's ears.

[color=#800080]"Damn, shut him up Wins! Roar!"[/color] - the Houndour roared, and suddenly Lombre was too scared to move, frozen in place. -[color=#800080] "Great! Let's finish this with a close Ember!" [/color]- Winston got near enough, and fired a burst of flames that burned Lombre, that and the poison from before, were enough to faint Lombre. -[color=#800080] "No! My poor baby!"[/color] - Lily saved Lombre into the pokeball, and walked up to Leon - "[color=#b22222]I know we lost but...I'm still a better choice than that slut, right my dear?" -[/color] Leon ignored her, and ran to Yamada. He kissed her pasionatelly, and hugged her - [color=#800080]"This makes us a couple, right sweetie?"[/color]

Yamada nodded as Leon kissed her. "Yes." she said quietly. She reached into her bag and pulled out a Max Potion and sprayed it onto Houndour. "That should keep him from dying. Now let's go to the Castle and defeat the Castle Lord. Then we can hit the spa by daybreak tomorrow." Yamada explained. She grabbed his hand and walked towards the the giant front doors to the West Castle.

Aaron chuckled as he watched the expected victory from Yamada and Leon. He knew they'd win; their team had a type advantage, and after Dustox was done Lombre didn't stand a chance. "There's your answer." Aaron stated, smiling as he glanced at Al. He sighed and walked towards the edge of the Arena, nodding his head towards Yamada and Leon. "Victory goes to those two." Aaron stated, his smile vanishing as the girls still tried to woo Leon over. "And a victory's a victory. Leave them alone now." He added, glaring for a second before following the couple over to the castle entrance. He didn't know if they recognised him or not, but he was sure he'd scared them a bit either way.

As he grew level with the couple, he started to look up at the giant doors. "Impressive. Almost as grand as my place." Aaron joked, albeit nervously. He was actually quite unsure which one was better, and thought that the castle looked just as large and imposing as the Indigo Plateau, though it was much less inviting. He shrugged and walked up to the doors, knocking with one loud rap. "Y'gonna let us in now?!" He shouted, awaiting a reply, or the opening of the doors.

[color=#800080]"Wow...this is huge!"[/color] - Leon looked in awe at the Castle - [color=#800080]"Well, guys. We must give it our best...damn!"[/color] - Leon turned around, remembering he had left his Pokemon at the Pokecenter. However, Nurse Joy was already behind them - [color=#ffa07a]"Hello. When I saw you take off, I remembered I had your Pokemon, so I brought them with me. They are a hundred percent healed!"[/color] - the nurse handed Leon Silva's and Dino's pokeball. - [color=#800080]"Thank you, kind woman. Now, guys. How are we going to get through? It doesn't seem as he is home..."[/color]

[color=#40e0d0]"Yeah, he is always busy."[/color] - sounded a voice from next to Leon. When he turned, he saw a man with cerulean hair, yellow eyes, and a black undershirt, showing a muscular body underneath; Rob Vasilik. - [color=#40e0d0]"I get you guys remember me from yesterday, right?"[/color]

[color=#800080]"Yes sir. But, what are you doing here?" [/color]- Leon offered Rob a handshake, which he answered with energy. -[color=#40e0d0] "I'm here visiting my friend Umbra, the Lord of this Castle."[/color] - Rob knocked the door - [color=#40e0d0]"Hey, you idiot! Open up! It's too hot out here!"[/color]

Hex hung back from the rest of the crowd, weighing his options. He could either go in and check out this Castle Lord, or fall back and continue onward to Domia City. He called out all of his pokemon. "Okay guys, we've got two options here. Either A, we go into that castle, meet the Castle Lord, risk getting discovered and possibly get our asses kick, or B, we say our goodbyes and go for Domia City. What do ya think?" Hex sighed as the pokemon unanimously voted to go to the castle. "Should've seen that coming." he muttered to himself. He recalled his pokemon and ran up to join the group.

[Medivh]

(Hey, I'm alive. Huzzah.)

At the sound of voice, Umbra stood up from his seat, where he was studying a map of Olene. The Lord briefly paused to light a cigarette, and begin smoking.
"Come in," he said, momentarily taking the cigarette from is mouth and blowing out a puff of smoke. With this, the massive stone front doors of the West Castle opened, revealing a damp stone hallway lit half-heatedly by two torches, whose blue flames flickered constantly.

[Piercer of the Heavens]

"That's a cheap answer" Allegretto responded back. "But a anwser either way." With that Allegretto returned his pokemon that were watching the battle. "So to the castle we go."

As soon as they got to the castle Allegretto was amazed at the castle itself. It was huge, even the doors were huge. "How are we going to get-" Allegretto was interupted by the other trainers shouting at the castle lord. "Guys, I don't think that will-" Once again Allegretto was interupted, but this time by the castle doors opening. "Amazing" he said as he looked inside. "So, who's going in first."

[Fader]

[font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Joseph began running off the port, late. All his instruments were packed in a large Dark blue sack on his back. "Instruments, check." Joseph patted the bag. "Sol." Melody said. "Melody, are you ready? We're late so we gotta go fast." Joseph asked his companion. "Absol, Ab." She replied back. Joseph grinned and began to approach the box. The five pokeballs he needed sat there. He had already picked up Melody. He walked off the port humming, Melody did likewise. The pair headed for the route, eager for an Olene pokemon. "Gah, the other have probably caught everything by now. We got to hustle for an Olene catch." Joseph said to Melody. "Sol. Absol." She replied. "No this definitely isn't Hoenn anymore."[/font]

"Yahoo!" Archer's adrenaline was rushing as he, Absol, Trapinch and Victini leaped through the trees in a dense forest. Archer stopped and grabbed onto a branch, hanging down from a tall tree. "So guys," he said, "Should we head straight for the castle?" "Sol!" "Pinch!" [b][color=#ff8c00]Yeah! Straight to the castle! [/color][/b]Archer nodded. "Yeah, seems like a good idea. We should stop by the PokeCenter first, just in case." Archer dropped down to the ground, and Soldier, Pit, and Vincent followed. Then Archer heard something move. "What was that...?" he said. He looked around and looked dead into a bush a few meters away from him. Staring back were two insect-like eyes. All of a sudden, with blinding speed, a green figure leaped out of the bush and toward Archer. Absol quickly moved in front of Archer and intercepted the attack with his horn. "Nice job, Soldier," Archer said. Looking at the Bug Pokemon, Archer recognized it as a Sycther. "A Sycther, eh? Ok then, Absol, you're up! Night Slash!" Absol's horn surrounded itself in black energy, and then he burst towards the Bug-Type Pokemon. Sycther lifted one of its blade-like forearms and brought it down in a quick swipe, impacting with Absol's horn and blocking the attack. (Fury Cutter) Then, with its other blade, it made a precision strike to Absol's side with another Fury Cutter. Absol staggered backwards after the attack. "You ok, dude?" Archer asked. After looking at at Absol for a bit, Archer noticed that he looked a bit zoned out. "Whats wrong...?" Sycther then crossed its arms, which began to glow green, and leaped at Soldier. He spun around and straightened out its arms, and morphed into a green tornado, smashing into Absol and sending him flying backwards. Absol groaned after being smashed into a tree. (Spinning X-Scissor) "Get up!" Archer said. Absol groaned again, but stood up. "Double Team, now!" Absol roared, and a large amount of clones appeared in the trees around them. "Psycho Cut, all of you!" Each of the Absol's horns glowed with pink, psychic energy, and then they let loose a barrage of psychic blades at Sycther. Sycther stood his ground and met each blade an arc of white energy. (Air Slash) "Grrr...Shadow Ball!" Each Absol generated a ball of dark energy in their mouths. But, instead of launching them as usual, they all jumped at Sycther, except the original Absol. Sycther jumped the attack, and all of the clones impacted with each other and exploded. Sycther's entire body began to glow white, and he raised his blades. "SCYTHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!" Scyther lowered its claws, and let loose a fury arcs of wind They moved too fast for Absol to dodge, and they exploded on impact. Absol groaned and fell. "Soldier!" Archer cried. He ran over to Absol. "Get up! We'll use...[i]that [/i]move." He smiled. And so did Absol. He got up and faced Scyther. "Now![i] MEGAHORN![/i]" Absol's horn glowed with massive energy, and it grew to a massive size, still glowing. Absol leaped to Scyther a slashed it with its giant horn, knocking Scyther to the side with massive power. Absol's horn went back to it's original size. "Hehehe...Absol's ultimate move. Hardly any pokemon stands back up after that. Go, pokeball!" Archer pulled a pokeball out and chucked it at Scyther. Scyther's body was pulled inside of the ball, which began to make beeping noises. "C'mon, c'mon..." [i]Bing![/i] "Yeah!" The pokeball stopped moving and beeping, signifying that Scyther was captured. "Boo-yah! I caught myself...A Scyther!" "Sol!" "Pinch Pinch!" [color=#ff8c00][b]Way to go, Archie! [/b][/color]"Yeah! Awesome!" Absol then fell down and fell unconscious. "Argh! Soldier!" He picked up Absol, but then realized that he was to heavy to carry. "Vincent, carry him with your Psychic, please," Victini nodded. A pink lining appeared around Absol and he levitated. "Run! We gotta get him help!" The small brigade rushed towards the direction of the PokeCenter.

Yamada smiled and jumped! The castle was at least a half a mile high, with the doors half the size of the building itself. Zero growled, showing he was ready for a proper battle. Yamada skipped into the long stone hallway, Zero lurking at her size. She stopped for a second, and pulled out several Pokeballs. Lillipup, Shiny Cubone, and Charmander appeared by Yamada's and Zero's side. She kneeled down and patted Lillipup on his head. "Ok, guys! This is it!" she said. "The West Castle! I know we aren't super strong, or the best around, but that doesn't mean anything in the long run. All that matters is that we try the best we can and if we lose, we lose. We'll just keep trying!" she continued. All four of Yamada's Pokemon cheered in their own little way. Yamada smilled and Lillipup jumped into her arms. Yamada stood and turned to the group. "Well, let's go!" she yelled, then continued walking, her Pokemon behind her.

Hex walked forward slowly, his breath taken by the castle's almost incomprehensible bigness. He gulped.[i] I must look like such a hick[/i], he thought to himself. But it was true. He had never seen anything this huge before. It was...awe-inspiring. He spotted out the one who was referee in the earlier match, and went to speak with him. "Hey, I've got a question." he asked,"What's the deal with this Castle Lord? I mean, I didn't really look into it, so is it like a Gym battle, where they use a certain type, or just like any other trainer?"

[b]"Yeah, I see it, Charlie."[/b]

Roderick and his Cubchoo, "Charlie", watched from the upper deck of the boat as the shoreline of the Olene Island drew closer into view. A flock of Wingull and Pelipper flew overhead as the boat finally approached the dock of Legenew Port. After days of being on the boat, Roderick was finally ready to stretch his landlegs again... figuratively speaking. As soon as the boat came to a stop, the sound of a roaring engine broke the otherwise calm ambiance of the port town as Roderick, straddling his motorbike with Charlie inside his PokeBall, make a bounding leap off the deck of the boat and onto the walkway below.

[b]"Alright, Charlie, let's go!"[/b] Roderick uttered as he sped off toward the center of town.



After a few moments of riding around town, Roderick finally came across a small convenience store near the town exit. Parking his bike nearby, Roderick releases Charlie from his PokeBall and cradled the little Cubchoo in his arms as he entered the store. [b]"Hello? Anyone here?"[/b] Roderick called out, looking around the otherwise unoccupied store.

[color=#40e0d0][b]"Cubchoo? Cub-Cubchoo?"[/b][/color] Charlie squeaked, mimicking his Trainer.

Eventually, Roderick's eyes came to rest on a pamphlet stand. [b]"Free Olene Island Map: Available in Both Physical and Digital Copy,"[/b] he read aloud to himself. [b]"Sounds good."[/b] Placing Charlie down on the counter, Roderick took off his backpack and began to rummage through it for his digital Town Map. He soon found it, as well as an Oran Berry which he gave to Charlie, then proceeded to read the instructions on how to download the Olene Map. [b]""Wi-Fi Connection"... right, got it,"[/b] Roderick muttered as he connected his Town Map to the store's hidden wireless router.

W, marching proudly through Genesis Headquarters, turned and looked at every grunt he passed with a smile, exchanging pointless pleasantries, and occasionally telling them to "keep up the good work." Some grunts looked back confused about his unusually happy attitude. It was, of course, because W had completed his greatest work yet: Eevoxys. Clenched tightly inside of a pokeball now attached to his waist, the little demon rested, waiting for its first battle. Froslass walked along side W, also oddly cheerier than usual. Froslass had been feeling much better lately. A lot of the pain was gone. But the painful memory would never wash away. She pushed the memory out of her head and looked up at her master. She hadn't seen him this happy since he was a child. She couldn't help but be happy herself. W pulled his phone out of his pocket and sent a message out to the other admins.

[b]If any of you are free at the moment, I would like for you to come down to the Genesis Training Arena in the West Wing. I would like to have a quick test battle with a newly engineered mutant pokemon, and also dust of my battling skills. I haven't had a good battle since before I got here, and I'm feeling a bit rusty. I think we should brush ourselves of a bit, seeing that some of these trainers are more than we bargained for.[/b]

W hit send, and walked off in the direction of the Training Arena.

Leon looked up in awe at the giant building -[color=#800080] "This is amazing...I'm getting excited!"[/color] - he grabbed his two balls ((LOL)) and threw them on the air, releasing Silva and Dino. He placed Silva on his head, and with Dino by his feet he started walking - [color=#800080]"We WILL win! We are the best! That's why we are here, RIGHT!?"[/color] - Leon cheered, with his Pokemon cheering next to him. Rob was amused with the children's attitude, and released his own small Piplup from a Pokeball. - [color=#00ffff]"I'm going with you. I need to talk to Umbra with urgency."[/color]

Xerxes stretched his arms, and left his room. - [b]"Attention!"[/b] - after some seconds, a grunt appeared in front of Xanxus -[b] "Bring me X2 to the Training Area."[/b] - after writing the request down, the grunt left the place running, and Xerxes ran the other way. After some minutes, he reached the Training Area, and sat down waiting for the others.
