Phantom Roxas
Someone delete this thread. Someone delete it now!
Why the hell would I do that? Just because 4Kids is going under and you're not happy about it doesn't mean this thread deserves to die. What I will do is change the title to make it about this auction as a whole rather than just the Yu-Gi-Oh! rights.
If they alter the cast in any way, someone will pay!
I suppose I can sympathize with how petty you are being because you so carelessly spoiled Kingdom Hearts 3D and ruined one of my most heavily anticipated games ever for me, but frankly, I had every right to warn you for that, and I didn't even go as far as to ban you out of spite. The fact that is they're going to change the cast, and I for one am perfectly fine with that, although I am skeptical about the dub only because Konami hasn't dubbed anime before, and yet I still think they'll have more care for the source material. Now, apparently 4Kids has the rights to The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and Beast Keeper. I recall seeing a little bit of the former, and it wasn't bad, although I guess 4Kids is broadcasting a different version than the one I saw. What I've heard about Beast Keeper actually is pretty bad. Just see for yourself. So 4Kids isn't so much dead as they are wrapped in a full body cast, pushed around in a wheelchair, with a terminal illness to boot. Personally, I just wish that they would give up.

Astro Dude
Well, if they finish Tai Chi Chasers, and get more cash, then all will be well. I think I'll like Beast Keeper if 4kids dubbed it.
Phantom Roxas
Um, 4Kids filed for bankruptcy. The only way they could possibly get cash is out of selling all their rights. A quick Wikipedia search shows that the dub finished season 2 of Tai Chi Chasers, so unless they dub Season 3, that's it, and it's not airing on Toonzai anymore. Saban is now in charge of the CW Saturday morning block, so your best bet is to hope that they air Season 3. Keep in mind that this has yet to be finalized. These are just the proposed settlements, and this deal should hopefully come to an end next Wednesday.
Astro Dude
They got cash from the lawsuit! That was like 8 million bucks from that. So basically, 4kids is now dead.

IF YOU GUYS HAVEN'T HATED ON 4KIDS NONE OF THIS WOULD'VE HAPPENED!
So, because 4Kids made crappy and heavily edited (I mean "localized") dubs its our/fans fault for voicing their opinion? Look, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do a quick search on the Internet and realize that most people outside of the demographic, toddler to elementary student (which even then is meh), to see your company isn't doing things the right way. They are the last (one of the last) that see anime as a kids show, so I'm excited for what will hopefully be a better representation on the American anime community. I still think this wouldn't have happened if 4Kids realized earlier that anime isn't a children only thing. (coughcough maybe the Shaman King incident would've been a clue coughcough)

Besides, are you saying that we should have just stayed quiet and just accept that 4Kids was doing a terrible job? The idea that our displeasure (To put it in very mildly) with 4Kids is directly responsible for 4Kids' bankruptcy is just laughable. Tentacruel
Limited localization is a good thing, as some dialogue traits and what-not just don't translate. Westernization on the other hand, is terrible, which is what they did to One Piece.

Phantom Roxas
Even I'm not exactly sure if the company is actually dead.
