Censoring was involved but that's no reason to hate them.

I mean, would you want 7 year olds to see Bulma in her uhhh right in front of their parents. And they kinda avoided the whole Blackface racist thing with Mr. Popo. Imagine how much trouble they would've been in with that.

But getting back on topic I liked the dubbed version of 5d's despite the fact they never finished it. Hmmm... wonder how the voice of Sailor Jupiter or Princess Sally would fit Akiza or Tori?

I knew they were running Capsule Monsters, but not that they were going to the Pharaoh's Memory arc after that. By "done", I meant that they had finished dubs, which is why they're on reruns. Do Yu-Gi-Oh! and DBZ really take up half of the block's running time? Also, most people should be watching The Legend of Korra at 11:00, because it is [i]awesome[/i].

I'm tempted to bring back that debate about Back to the Future: The Animated Series, but these are different companies. You're better off waiting for them to release them on DVD or for them to have something like Boomerang.

Dragonball Z has aired on television long before they appeared on Toonzai, and yes, it's totally fair for us to hate them for censoring anime to the absurd degree to which they do it. In fact, it's the biggest reason for why we hate them. I'm all for allowing an adaptation to stand on it's own when I can, but 4Kids butchers the source material of their licenses to the point that they become unrecognizable, a practice which VG Cats [url=http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=145]portrayed accurately[/url].

4Kids and Funimation. Given their field presence you'd think they'd be among the most profitable, so it's just an assumption.

And it probably has a good deal to do with fansubs and general methods the community takes to watch things.

Yup. It's a five hour block. And I agree Korra is great.

whoever gets the rights to yugioh better dub GX season 4, although it might not happen given the BS reason for not dubbing it: "it's too dark." With season 0, using the first episodes as the prime example, Dark Yugi acted so cruelly by inflicting a penalty game onto the loser of the shadow game

If the bankruptcy court forced them to give up Yu-Gi-Oh!, then EVERYTHING that can be liquidated will be. Including the rights to that.

They don't need to get the original cast back. How much of the cast for the 4Kids version of One Piece came for the the Funimation dub? It's not like Funimation doesn't have plenty of voice actors to do the roles. It was just some fan showing that they want Funimation to pick up Yu-Gi-Oh!, but since the Funimation Channel still expressed interest in it happening, it's possible.
