Katz looked at the white blades of light a bit in disbelief. "D-does hologram technology even exist yet? What's with that light?" It was then that a familiar sight had entered the room. A girl with a heart shaped tattoo on her and an odd eye following her around. "That girl...? She goes to our school, doesn't she? I think I've seen her walk into school before. I can't help but recognize that heart tattoo. But...that eye...is it animatronic...?" As soon as he openly questioned Gringham things took a different turn and things began to become less an less explainable and based on what Gringham had just said things were soon going to become even more unbelievable.

Katz actually turned a deep shade of red after Rosa had commented on Alaka's apparent infatuation with him. "B-big boy...dirty thoughts...attractive...?" He was rather flushed with this but he soon got over most of it so that he could at least hear Rosa's proper and more serious introduction of herself. "So she's apparently some sort of summoner...that means she's going to summon something to make it undeniable...don't exactly know why I'm thinking this when it's completely obvious to anybody here...even Hyde...wait...if that eye can read minds then it knows what I just though...and that means it knows I secretly burn on Hyde in my head. Oh dear, this is quite embarrassing. And now that I say it she's probably going to mention it out loud."

Rosa had soon started her completely incomprehensible chant. Or at least incomprehensible to pretty much anybody but her. Although Katz wasn't all that sure she even knew what she was saying or if those were even words she were saying. The only recognizable part was the end with one, two, and three in German. Katz's eyes widened as he saw the hexagram appear. "It's like the one at the carnival." Not long after a creature fell from the potal. It was a creature of such proportions that a drop of sweat rolled down Katz's face. "What...is that thing...a slime...? Odd thing...you're holding it and it's clearly moving yet it's also completely translucent..."

Rosa had apparently made a mistake with her chant. "Wait, there was a c sound somewhere in the incomprehensible mess of sounds a voice can even possibly make?" Well apparently there was and apparently the young girl had made the mistake with it. Rather rookieish for somebody who was apparently a master. She only had to repeat a small section of the long chat though as the portal was still open. This time a much larger slime fell down. Katz jumped back away from it and the table it had managed to destroy. "Holy mackeral!" It soon turned red which caused Katz to once agin reach towards the inside of his jacket.

After a tentacle had formed and grabbed onto Alaka Katz already had his airsoft pistol out and was shooting at the creature but to no avail. "My pellets aren't doing anything. This thing appeared out of nowhere, changed colors, grabbed onto two girls and my pellets aren't going through it. They're actually stopping it. This Thing Is Actually Real?!" It was then that a white sword pierced the creature actually causing its near instantaneous demise. Katz quickly dropped his toy pistol and held out his arms to catch Alaka. Upon doing so he wasn't actually able to catch her but did at least cushion the fall and in the end that's all a hero of justice really even needs to do.

'Darn it...How am I supposed to deny this now?' Yoshiko thought occupying her mouth with the glass of water offered to her earlier. She wasn't really paying any attention to Amai's questions - though they were still being stored in her memory as to avoid re-asking the same question - and was more focused on a way to somehow prove that all of this was some type of trick. 'But who would go through all this trouble just to play such an elaborate trick. Shiro isn't that type of person, and Lord Gringham doesn't appear to take too kindly to that kind of humor.' The glass was still by her lips but she had stopped drinking it. 'I could just leave, and request to have no part in this. I can't afford to have such distractions in my life. I still haven't started on my homework, which I could have had finished by now. Instead I was suckered into indulging this idiotic farce.'

She darted her eyes to Lord Gringham studying him. Why would someone with such an esteemed presence and wise eyes actually believe this? Even though Yoshiko saw this with her own eyes, her mind just couldn't put 'Magic' and 'Reality' within the same sentence. Not only that but, she looked over at Shiro, he was also in on this. Dropping her eyes to her glass, a light frown marred her face giving away to the inner conflict of believe what she was seeing or what she though to be fact. 'I just can't accept this. I can't, magic isn't real.' Unlike Katz she didn't yell out her disbelief, or create a scene. Instead she kept her thoughts to herself, still staring at the glass of water. She traced a finger around the rim of the glass, 'Even if I was to believe all of this, that would mean there are 53 magicians in total, with myself being one of them. Not only that but I am an Ace, one of the more powerful magicians....Ugh! No matter what I do it just sounds so unrealistic!'

Yoshiko finally dropped her hand, and turned to Lord Gringham, "I apologize, but I just simply can't fathom all of this to be real. I see it with my own eyes, and while the best explanation is magic, I can't wrap my mind around it. My upbringing won't allow me to just simply believe it. The idea of real magic, without smoke and mirrors is simply too illogical for me."

To Amai's secondary question, Lord Gringham turned his head to her and, in response to her very correct assumption, he nodded subtly stating that "These 'cards' possess magical energy, it's only natural a wielder should be able to tap into it's concentrated power and to use it; there were 12 + 5, Aces and Royals, however as I've explained a Royal grants his magicians a number and suit, from 2 to 10, which explains how their power comes to be. However, though your assumption is correct, it does not take the form of wielding, per say; moreover, it's to be understood as the card merges with it's wielder, as would the Seal do to the Aces." before standing from his seat and gazing across the room, to watch intensely Shiro and Rosa's display for them, mainly Katz in order to persuade him, and so he watched closely, sharply, not just to see how believable this attempt would be, but more so to see Rosa's developed talent as of recent.

Alaka, blushing a terrible red from Rosa's words, clenched her fists by her legs and gazed away from Katz having spotted his own blush, inwardly thinking 'He thinks I'm some sort of slut! I mean, just because I'm a succubus doesn't mean I'm some sort of lewd pervert...' as she watched the display as well, of course as did the entirety of the table; her surprise being manhandled so roughly by the slime, as well as being treated like some sort of plaything made her squeal "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!!!" not as amused by the slime as, evidently, many of the table were. Kadabra chuckled at the spectacle, whilst Abra chuckled loudly, and Hyde himself did exactly the same, smiling brightly up at the slime thinking 'Man that sure looks tasty, I mean it's probably delish! Hmm...did I get lunch today? Oh, yeah, I did...still, looks a lot like jelly...mmm...' before suddenly drooling, simply day dreaming about enjoying some delicious jelly.

Shiro, similarly to Francesco, was far from amused, and had launched his swords after watching Rosa fool around, scoffing "Child" as he did such, to which Hyde, snapping from his trance, nudged Amai and, chuckling, said "Boy, he's a lot like his Dad, huh?" to which earned a sharp scowl from Shiro; Alaka's crash upon katz brought another blush as she leaped from the boy's back and shook him around like a towel, still unaware of her superior strength, streams of tears following as she said "Nonononono! Don't die on me, pleeeeease~!" before cuddling his face into her chest, not suffocatingly tight, but tight enough for her to cuddle the boy affectionately, streams still flowing; Kadabra tapped the succubus' head twice and, slowly, took her hand and escorted her to her seat, Alaka's eyes gazing upon the floor.

Lord Gringham, silent through all of this, even the broken table, turned to Yoshiko and nodded his head in understanding as he said "I understand your rationale; the transition from one life to another takes time to adjust, and if you cannot cope with it I should not allow myself to enforce this upon you." before sighing softly, Shiro taking his seat and gazing to Yoshiko as he went on to say "Allow me, Lord Gringham?" Receiving the go from the man, Shiro then stood up again and turned to the table standing to his father's left, gazing down it and it's members, rolling his eyes at it's broken state and with the flick of a wrist had it repair itself as he went on to say "Alaka is a Demon expert, being one herself; she defected from the Underworld and sided with Lord Gringham, desperate to resolve the issues of the world, in addition to... *ahem* ...meeting the Ace of Spades..." he groaned with reluctance, sighing and rubbing his eyes as he signalled her to speak.

Taking a stand, she stuttered as she went on to say "I-I-I...well...umm...." with evident issues, struggling to speak up due to evident nerves, to which Hyde smiled and said "Hold on a sec..." before standing up, walking over to Alaka and she began to whisper to him as a means to speak. "...The Demons who attack me and Daisuke are called the...Chester-ow! Jester Gang...and...she anticipates they will release their Revenant: Golem Grandisimo?" Hyde said, turning to Alaka with a chuckle whispering back if he did well. In this time, Kadabra turned to Yoshiko as she said "A Revenant is a very large, and lethal familiar of a Demon, and Golem Grandisimo is no exception; currently, there are no Magicians who can address this pressing issue, and right now we have a plan to eliminate this threat, but we need you Aces, not for our lives, but Lazuli City itself.

A brief glance from Shiro to Lord Gringham, and a nodding, Shiro turned to the now seated Hyde as he explained that "Daisuke has been abducted, Hyde, by two Jesters; this is no coincidence, they're after you."

Yoshiko nodded in appreciation, "Thank you for your understanding." She said, not having been too amused by what was going on. Other than thinking that this was all terrible table manors, she didn't smile or laugh at what was going. Shiro then stood, fixing the table and then explained that Alaka was a demon expert, also being a demon herself, and had defected from the underworld. More stuff Yoshiko was finding it hard to believe. The girl, who was the one who seemed to be interested in Katz stood up blushing and stuttering. Hyde then helped her out by letting her whisper what she needed to say and then he would repeat it. Hyde said something about releasing a revenant. Before Yoshiko could mentally question what their definition of revenant was, Kadabra explained it to her. Yoshiko nodded her thanks. Lastly Shiro said that Daisuke, Hyde's brother was kidnapped. 'Daisuke...Was he the pretty, modle looking guy with Hyde at the circus.' Yoshiko looked at Hyde, 'I hope....He will be alright...'

"I see," Amai said slightly distracted as she thought about his answer. 'I wonder if it hurts? What if you no longer want to be able to use magic? What if.." a few more what if's went through Amai's head as she watched the first attempt at a summon. Blinking a little upon seeing the slime, she wasn't sure what to say. Deciding not to be offensive and rude, she just kept her comment to herself as Rosa stated she was going to try again and get something bigger. Not having the greatest of feelings about this, Amai picked up her tea and saucer and held them in her lap. Watching the second summon come out and break the table in half, a small sweat drop appeared on her head during the rest of the demonstration. At the end, Rosa was on the ground, crying as she said, [background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"Shiro, you're such a buzzkill..."[/background]

A small, quick ha escaped Amai's lips when Rosa said that. It wasn't the context that made her laugh, it was how it was said that made her laughed. "Sorry 'bout that, Shiro," Amai said before taking a sip of her tea, trying to suppress her urge to laugh. The conversation then took a turn for the dreaded as they brought up a Revenant. "Golem Grandisimo? No wizards in the area are able to take care of him and yet, you expect us to be able to do it? We have NO training with magic and I highly doubt they're going to wait for us to get trained before they release him! How do you plan on beating this Revenant?" Amai wasn't against helping to protect the city, but to have them go against something that no one else with way more experience than them was just out of the question. Even with some training, she doubt'd they'd be able to handle this creature. Then things took for an even worse of a turn when they announced that Daisuke had been kidnapped. She was in disbelief. She didn't know what to say. All she could do was look to Hyde with a look of part fear and part sorrow. 'Karai.. Be careful..'

Rosa had already gotten up and dusted herself off. With a snap of her fingers, the summoning circle at the top of the room dissipated. Her eye twitched over everyone, taking in their thoughts. So she had convinced them, though skeptical thoughts still remained.

She nodded along with Lord Gringham's small explanation, and then opened her mouth. The flat voice came out again. "Daisuke is surely just bait, Hyde." Ull fixated on the boy. "I do not wish to be such a downer, but they are probably going to kill him. To you, a brother, to them, just another... who happens to be able to draw out the Fleur while he's inexperienced and relatively weak. Even with the abilities of this fine lady Rosa and your comrades, I suspect that failure is inevitable. Especially against such a thing as the Golem Grandissimo. I would take him on myself, but that requires putting her in danger, and I cannot have that."

Rosa shook her head. "Ull, I hate it when you do that!" She hit the small eye on the head, to which it responded with an annoyed glance. She turned towards Lord Gringham, and Ull began speaking again.

"I apologize for the inconvenience, Lord Gringham. As per your request I will not pry into your heart; however, is there something preventing you from doing this yourself? Testing such mere children against a Revanent is not so wise. I know that this is utterly trivial for someone such as you. Or do you wish to...?" Ull shook his eye, an odd motion. "I wish not for Rosa to partake in this."

Rosa hit Ull on the 'head' again, but then responded in suit herself. "Ull is right about you not solving this yourself. If this is as troubling as you make it out to be, my Lord, then why not smoosh the Golem? Then you'll have plenty of time to train the kids and stuff."

She looked down at Ull and whispered. "Ull, I can tell he has something planned, I kinda do want in on it."

After essentially being squished and shaken around like dirty laundry in a dryer he pretty much just stayed there on the ground. He in no way lost consciousness from Alaka's excessive strength but just couldn't find the strength to get up from how mind blown he still was. Magic apparently existed and logic didn't really matter all that much anymore. He was the kind of guy who prided himself in his logic and using it to catch those who would break the rules even though the most recent cases were quite inaccurate. Now magic was a simple excuse to breaking it and it is the simple excuse that has been breaking his. Katz just stayed on the ground listening to the rest of the conversation while also thinking to himself about things.

After hearing about the golem and about Hyde's brother Katz's eyes widened a bit. He listened to the others talk some more before he slowly lifted himself back up. "I've decided." He looked at everybody else in the room and stopped at Lord Gringham. "I'm a reasonable guy. I've seen enough that I just can't deny this. My pelllets have proven this isn't an illusion. They shot and stopped in the slime monster. They're not over on the other side of the room. No. I understand where Yoshiko is at yet I've seen enough. And quite frankly, it just doesn't matter now. The existance of magic or not. If people are in trouble I'm going to do what I can to save them. If I'm one of the only few whom actually have the power to do save them then I'll use it to do just that!"

Hyde's eyes turned straight to Shiro upon hearing those last words drop, to which Shiro nudged his head from the table, to which Hyde, some dumbstruck by the revelation, was taken, escorted by Lucian, to the western wall whereby he began to talk to Shiro, in an air of privacy, about the matter at hand: it didn't take an idiot to know just how close Daisuke and Hyde were. They were best friends as well as brothers, let alone the fact Daisuke was Hyde's legal guardian. Shiro's gaze into Hyde's eyes told him enough to say that, from the shaking of his pupils, that he was worried. Ull was right, it was likely Daisuke was going to be used as a hostage in all this. Hyde had no choice, he had to go to Daisuke, but..."Those b*stards took him!". "It was inevitable, but it doesn't matter: we will rescue him." Shiro returned, hands upon Hyde's shoulders in an attempt to calm the boy, feeling the tension in his shoulders. "You can't be sure of that!" Hyde returned, his anger evidently fuelled by this intense emotional attachment to his brother. "How do we know he's even alive as we speak?" To this, Shiro simply sighed and shrugged, incapable of answering, incapable of telling Hyde otherwise; there was no sense in false promises, and as such Shiro simply patted Hyde's back gently as the fleur cringed, evident hatred boiling in his head.

In the meanwhile, Lord Gringham slowly turned his head to Amai as she expressed her seemingly severe concern for their own welfare in regard to addressing the impending arrival of the Revenant Golem Grandisimo, which soon became an issue that Ull raised itself, wishing him not to place Rosa in this very dangerous state of affairs, asking him if there was anything he himself could do. Rosa, herself, stressed the issue, and with Lord Gringham closing his eyes, overhearing Katz as he explained that he was going to do something about all this, bringing a smile to the Lord's face. Lucian, the faithful servant, soon stood beside the Lord as stated softly "One must take into account Lord Gringham's heart's current state before asking a task such as this from him.", his Lord gazing to his eyes and him in return, nodding softly as he went on to say "Furthermore, Lord Gringham believes that, so long as you four are accompanied by both Shiro, and Rosa, as well as the associates Abra, Kadabra, Alaka, and myself, you will have nothing to worry about." In regard to this, the two of Shiro & Hyde had taken a seat and Abra himself stood up tall, smiling wide as he said "Okay, Lucian, show them your power!"

As such, Lucian lifted his hands into the air and, as such, Alaka began to glow softly, her smiling as her body became enveloped in light, transforming her into a little belt of hot pink pellets, falling forcefully upon Katz's lap mainly to signal who she was working with, to which Abra explained that "Lucian can turn us into what you guys need best; Alaka's became super-powerful flying pellets which you'll be able to control mentally!" Soon after Abra's own body began to glow as he squealed in giddiness, him soon turning into a rapier, gingerly falling upon Amai's lap as he communicated to her telepathically saying "Awesome! Lightning fast and super strong rapier for Ms Megumi!" Lucian's spell soon went for Kadabra who, at the time, turn to Yoshiko saying "I hope I can serve you the best I can, Ms Watanabe..." before turning into a pair of boots, a slight icy fog from the bottom of them as they fell upon Yoshiko's lap, Kadabra speaking to Yoshiko saying "...as a pair of Skates; I shall serve you well and we shall freeze your foes swiftly." Of course, the final piece was Lucian whom, as he glowed brilliantly, turned into a gauntlet which fell upon Hyde's lap, him explaining his function as "A Gauntlet of fire: I shall scorn the fiends with your passionate blazing heart."

Following this, Lord Gringham stated "Rosa, I shall entrust you with the care of Katsutoshi and Amai addressing Golem Grandisima; in turn, Shiro, you alongside Hyde and Yoshiko will siege the tent and liberate Daisuke." Following this, Shiro softly sighed and turned to Rosa, explaining "This event is going to go public, as the Revenant will rise soon. The Crucifix I placed should hold him, so if we get the chance we can simply rescue Daisuke. However, if the media comes about, please conceal your identity; last time, in order to wipe the memories of the millions, Father had to use his Coup upon the incident." to which Lord Gringham asked "Aces, are there any questions?" To this, Hyde, who had equipped Lucian to his arm, yet remained quiet all this time, subtly asked, although it sounded more like an order, "Why are we still here, waiting?" with evident desire to salvage his brother from all this.

Rosa clapped her hands together. "Well, when you put it like that, I'm sure we won't have so much trouble with the big lug, now will we?" A cute little smile formed on her face, though Ull looked quite different. It seemed as if his gaze would burn up the Lord Gringham on the spot.

"I swear to your unholy God, Lord Gringham, if anything ill befalls my dear Rosa, I will strike you down myself."

Hikari's searches for the model boy were all in vain. She had searched every nook, ever cranny, every god damn place that a hostage would be held in the environment, but to no avail. All of her efforts to save the boy were all in vain for this ordinary police officer.

Sighing, she took out a cigarette and lit it up, taking a quick drift. Her mind wandered many places now that she had just given up on the search; why had she even tried to find that man in the first place? Something she couldn't quite explain made her take the reigns of that investigation. Was it the recent series of events that turned her heart for the worse that made her seek some sort of redemption? She shook her head at the thought and took another drag.

She had now meandered off the normal pathway and onto the beach. The sand was colder than ever at dusk. She marveled at the sunset, its blue and orange reflection off of the water quite relaxing. It was a time of bliss during a huge black hole in her life. She smiled.

"Wish every moment could be like this," she said, before flicking her cigarette.

She turned to head back to the main road and call a taxi before something caught her eye; a shiny red object buried in the sand, right below the dock. Interested, she made her way to the object and crouched down, examining it.

"Do they manufacture religion these days? Jeez, you'd think they would have a little bit of control. Glowing crosses. And I thought I had seen it all." She took the glowing cross in hand. It had a warm feel to it, and a throbbing, lively hum.

"That's odd," she said, before noticing the earth begin to fold and deform before her. A hexagram of immense size appeared in front of Hikari, emblazoned upon the sand. She backed away, slowly, and dropped the cross, forgetting nearly every event that had transpired that day. She turned around, but something's reflection in the water made her redact that action.

Her eyes widened, and she opened her mouth, trying to scream, but she had no breath to scream with.

"Wha...what... the hell..."

Chapter 4 - No more Hyding

The Kids dash down to the docks for a showdown with the Dreaded Oscuridad Gang! Splitting up between groups has Shiro, Amai and Katz addressing a deadly Revenant, whilst Hyde, Rosa, and Yoshiko tackle Os' Curidad and his band of demons!
An enormous crowd had shown up, policemen having swiftly secured the perimeter, the chief of police, as well as his very peculiarly large and spherical nose, robust and bushy grey moustache beneath it giving him the vague appearance of a walrus shuffled his way to Hikari as the moon peaked into the sky, however that was by far none of the public's key interest. It had seemed that Golem Grandisimo was keeping guard of the pier, forbidding entry of others as he watched the crowd, thrusting his hands into a nearby building for intimidation purposes. "For goodness sakes, it's about time you showed up on the scene!" the chief quickly stated, before briefing Hikari on the situation saying "We've got snipers and SWATs opening fire if it acts too unruly, and we're requesting military intervention: your tip was right, the Model has been kidnapped. Perimeter has been secured, so what do you reckon we should do, Soyokaze." sounding as professional as he could with daughter by side, naturally eager to keep her from danger's way.

A square of light dawned from within the perimeter, Shiro groaning "Rosa, stop fooling around and hurry up already." as he, alongside Hyde, Amai, Katz, Yoshiko, and Rosa left the square, an evident teleportation spell; they were in the centre of the pier, just as Shiro wanted, and as such he immediately gazed upon the enormous titan before them, cringing slightly as he knew this would be tough, as were all revenants. Turning to the group, he went on to relay the instructions entrusted upon them saying "Okay, Rosa, you're taking Amai and Katz to Grandisimo: he is very vicious, however look very close at him and you may just spot his weakness." before turning to the remainder of Yoshiko and Hyde, simply nodding towards the largest tent as he made his sprint towards them, Hyde scowling and saying to Yoshiko "Double timing." in a surprisingly stern voice for him; as he made his dash, he immediately began to equip Lucian upon his right hand, and after tightening the last lock he felt his entire body warm up. "Wow..." he muttered, before shaking off the sensation as he continued to make his dash for the head tent, noting 'Is that magic then? Is that what it feels like?'

As such, Alaka shook around in the belt upon Katz as she squeaked slightly. "Eep! Sorry!" she quickly apologized, before taking a deep breath. "It's dripping, can't you see?" the succubus quickly noted. "And it's attire...it looks like leather..." she further noted to the Ace of Spades, hoping he'd use his logical mentality to figure out a plan in order to deal with the Golem. In the meantime, Abra stated "Come on, slashy slashy slashy!!!" as he eagerly awaited Amai to attack, or at least the Golem's own attack: soon, Grandisimo released a dense orb of black fluid, it splashing down before Amai as a horde of Shadows began to swarm at her. Luckily for Amai, they were shadows, and Abra knew these enemies weren't dense enough to survive any form of tearing; as for Katz, Grandisimo began to open fire upon him, lifting his hand as a volley of shadow shots began to pellet his region; as such, the SWATs immediately began to fire at the Revenant, unknowing their attempts as futile, although it did give Katz a chance to respond.

Meanwhile, Shiro, Hyde & Yoshiko had arrived to the tent's main room, the empty crowd stands dead silent, to which Shiro signalled the two to be silent as he carefully inspected the environment. Suddenly, Daisuke Kokobunji strapped upon a pole began to dangle from the rooftop as, upon the tightrope from which the pole was suspended from, was Oscuridad, the very grim and dark Jester chuckling from above to which Hyde roared "Daisuke!!!", eyes fixed upon the seeming perpetrator of all this madness, the man whom had kidnapped Daisuke, and clenching his fist tightly, almost instinctively, Hyde's right hand balled a flame, matching the intense flames in his eyes sparking against the Jester. Shiro, to this, immediately began to charge an orb of light as he leered upon Oscuridad. The unconscious Daisuke, opening his eyes slightly, spotted Hyde and weakly groaned "Brother...run..." to which Oscuridad clicked his fingers, two more jesters heading out, one seeming to enjoy to spin, the other wielding a harp. "Topper, Jestar, eliminate them." the dark clown subtly spoke, the two servants quickly making their way.

Shiro was to apprehend Jestar, a sword of light spawned as the Jester used his harp to block a strike, followed by a kick in the gut to Shiro and kneeing him in the upcoming face, which soon drove those two off to their own scrap, whilst the other, Topper, began to charge at Yoshiko, arms flailing in a circular motion to smash her swiftly. Whether this would hit or not, Topper's techniques continued as he soon performed a handstand and leaped into the air, spinning swiftly like a drill to somewhat use this sharp momentum upon Yoshiko, to which Kadabra quickly noted "Blunt attacks aren't as effective as sharp ones." as she soonextended Yoshiko's blades, her frosty blades on her feet, the floor she stood upon already freezing over; Hyde, instead, has Oscuridad to deal with, and as such the Fleur charged his gauntlet and pointed it towards him saying "Give my brother back now, you assh*le!" to which, of course, he began to fire lob after lob of flaming blasts, Oscuridad merely chuckling and placing his hand forwards, the flames dissolving around his hand, embers merely scorching small specks of skin as he muttered "Try harder." Hyde, eyes sharper with evident hatred, lobbed an even larger ball, the sheer size about that of a snowman's head, however Oscuridad directed the attack at Hyde, causing the explosion to render him off his feet.
Rosa
Rosa quickly nodded her head to Shiro's order. Taking on the big guy herself; or, rather, with Ms. Amai and Mr. Katz. She began skipping towards the giant, paying more attention to the others than she did to herself.

"Shiro looks so cute when he's fighting~!" She thought to herself, before a shadow monster took notice of her and lashed out. "Ready, Ull?" She asked her eye.

"Ready, my sweet Rosa."

As if rehearsed thousands of times before, Rosa took hold of Ull in her hand and aimed it at the shadow beast, her expression changing from happy to maniacal. Her fierce grin took up half of her face; this was a grin that said 'I'm going to kill you.'

"Armagus Crus!" A violet beam shot forth from Ull, obliterating the shadow beast. Her skills at summoning forth not only monsters, but weapons and beams as well, was impeccable compared to the average magician, but despite her claims was not quite at master status.

"Wow, these things are weaker than I thought," She said, noting that they could be destroyed by even her simplest of attacks.

Her thoughts were cut short when another shadow beast came up behind her and struck, cutting her diagonally across the back. She stumbled over and yelped in pain. The cut wasn't that deep. As if taken into a rage, Ull exploded from her hand, and his appendages wrapped around the vile creature, constricting it until there was nothing left.

"Rosa!" Ull yelled, this time using his own voice rather than hers. "Damnit, Rosa, be more careful... There are too many of them for you to be summoning. You can't chant that fast."

Rosa smiled at Ull, then looked over to Amai and Katz. "He's right, I don't think I'll do too well against a swarm. I'm letting Ull take over, so try to avoid him, okay?"
Hikari
"If it acts too unruly? Father, just watch the bullets. They aren't doing anything to that beast. Call in the military. Get it with an explosion, just use something other than those damn peashooters."

She was right. The bullets seemed to just bounce right off of him. Hikari had a sudden urging to go fight the beast herself, but... why? As she looked onto the scene she noticed small, black creatures in the background and what looked to be children.

"Wait, what the hell?" She said to herself before starting off towards the pier, leaving her father behind. What caught her eye the most was a white haired boy...

Even though Yoshiko was still on edge about completely accepting everything, she was relieved that Kadabra was the one paired with her. Despite the demon's choice of clothing, she was more comfortable with her personality than the others. She looked at the pair of skates that Kadabra changed into with the help of Lucian. The blade on the skates were made of ice and had a dry ice effect. Lord Grimham apparently believed that the four of them would be able to help save Hyde's brother, and while Yoshiko truly did want to help, she failed to see what they could possibly do. Wouldn't it be best to just leave it to the police or something? She assessed the situation once more and sighed inwardly. They police probably wouldn't believe all this talk about magic, and just think that we're playing some sort of prank on them. While Rosa, Amai and Katz were paired together to go after the Revenant, Yoshiko was paired with Shiro and Hyde to save Daisuke.

Before Yoshiko knew it they was a flash of light and the lot of them were at the pier. 'What just happened? Did we...Teleport?' Yoshiko couldn't believe it. The more that she was seeing and experience the harder it was to not believe it. She was starting to thing it would be easier to just let go and believe them. She looked over when Shiro gave a cry, and turned to where he was looking. She froze; Just what was that thing? Was it the revenant? Shiro gave Rosa and the others their instructions before turning to Hyde and her, nodding before running off to the large tent that Yoshiko only just noticed. Hyde then told her to "double time" it. He was serious. Hyde was ready to do anything to save his brother. The grip on her skates tightened and she ran behind them. Seeing Hyde equip the gauntlet he was given Yoshiko figured she should get the skates on. So she stopped, and struggled to quickly get the shoes on, before chasing after them.

Yoshiko caught up to Hyde and Shiro inside of the main area of the tent. It was kind of creepy being in an empty circus tent. Not like the first time she was in a tent. Soon a pole descended from the top, with Daisuke strapped onto the pole. At the top, on a tightrope was a creepy jester looking guy. Moments later, two other people appeared also dressed in circus like attire, and the jester ordered them to go after her and Shiro. "W-wait. H-hold on." Yoshiko gasped takign a step back. How was she supposed to fight!? Just what did they expect from her. Topper, so she assumed since all he did was spin like a top, came after her. Swinging his arms, as he spun trying to hit her. With a shriek she stumbled backwards, clumsily and luckily not being hit until the last one where she was hit on her cheek.

Stunned, she held her right face. ''I-i don't understand. I don't want this.' Topped jumped into the air, coming downward like a drill on top of her. Yoshiko then heard Kadabra's voice, and suddenly a blade of ice protruded from the bottom of the shoes as if they were ice skates. The floor beneath her also began to turn to ice, and a cold chill ran up her back. Looking back up she saw Topper pretty much on top of her, but when she went to run forward instead of running she skated away much faster than she expected. While she barely managed to avoid being killed, she fell to the floor from the unsuspected speed. "Ugh...Th-this is...Too much." She groaned picking herself up slowly. The path that she took had ice there, and the ground right below here was also already turning to ice. 'I-i see. A path is laid out every time I move.' Yoshiko pushed her glasses up, gulping as she watched Topper.

A large sweat drop ran down the side of his face as he looked at the belt. "P-pink...? That is not a very...justicey color. Really, any color is better than pink. I wonder if I really lack that much masculinity that they'd think pink would be a good idea for me. Although I suppose it is meant to suit Alaka more than me. Although the homing shots still seem more insulting than anything. I prefer to think of myself as a good shot and against a target as supposedly large as that golem thing I doubt I'd miss much." Katz let out a sigh before standing up and putting the belt on. "I suppose magicall BBs, pink or not, just have to be better than my normal ones." Katz then picked up is pistol that he had dropped a little bit before to catch Alaka and reloaded it using the pink BBs.

After a little bit they had all been teleported to the middle of the pier. "Huh? What just happened? We're at the pier now? Can we get a little bit more of a warning before you guys ever do something like that again? Some of us are still very new to this whole magic thing." Katz then began to pat different parts of his body. "Okay, I don't think I'm missing anything." He then looked up at the Golem with wide eyes. "T-That's our enemy?" He turned to Rosa and asked her, "By any chance do you have any more of those slimes in a much bigger form?"

Shiro, Hyde, and Yoshiko soon left and Abro pointed out some stuff about the golem. Katz let out a sigh. "Right, yeah. I was just wondering if it really a good idea to have brought Yoshiko along? Hyde too maybe. I know we're supposed to have super powerful magical powers and Hyde's brother was kidnapped but they probably have the worst mentality for combat. Shiro seems pretty strong though so hopefully he can pull them through. And why am I talking about them when that golem is lobbing large shots at me?!" He quickly jumped out of the way narrowly avoiding one of the many shots while quickly dashing avoiding even more. He eventually jumped behind one of the booths for cover.

Now that he had cover and the golem was being sistracted by the bullets from the police officers he figured this would be a good time to think. "Leather armor and dripping...golems are beings made completely out of a certain substance, right? That's just based on what I've seen from anime and video games. Does that mean it's made of something like tar or oil? God damn, I don't know crap about any of this magic stuff!" His head hung down for a bit. "I'm supposed to be some super powerful magical ace of spades and yet I'm incapable of anything against that monster..."

Katz slowly stood back up and let out a sigh. "And to think just a few momemts ago I was talking about doing whatever I can to help people." It was then that onbe of the shadow creatures appeared in front of him about to attack. Katz jumped back after seeing it but had nowhere to go with the booth in the way. He quickly pointed his pistol at the shadow and started pulling the trigger. The first shot had done the job but he emptied his clip anyway. "Too close..." He slumped down and started reloading again with the pink BBs. "Again, I'm not sure how this magic stuff works out. Seriously, you guys did an absolutely terrible job at that." He once again stood back up. "I guess I should just be trying to figure this stuff out for myself. And you know what they say; beat fire with fire."

Katz charged out from his cover and fired a short at the smaller and weaker shadows that got in his way as he ran towards the large golem. Once he was in range he fired off a few shots at it. Once he had acquired the golems attention he observed its movements and moved out of the way . "After firing a few shots at it the golem's movements seemed a bit off. Its accuracy was also lowered a bit. I didn't need as much effort to dodge it shots. My shots seem to disorient it. There's still the earlier thing about its composition I'm wondering about. Is it where it's oozing from that may be some sort of weakspot or is it just proving that conventional attacks aren't going to do much...maybe if it were to be frozen it could then be broken apart or would explosions also be possible? Alaka, could you try contacting Yoshiko somehow? I assume you know some sort of magfical stuff that can co it. I don't like the idea of her even being in this fight but we still might need her. In the meantime let's fight."

As the group was teleported to the pier, Amai examined the rapier Abra was transformed into, "Huh.. It has a cutting edge.. It might take a moment to get used to, but other than that, I shoul-Are you kidding me?!?!" Amai's jaw just about dislocated itself with how far her jaw dropped when she saw how tall Golem Grandissimo was. After the initial shock of how tall he was over, Amai's eyes widened as she was almost overwhelmed with the same feeling she got the other day. If it wasn't for Abra's eager comment about attack, Amai wouldn't have snapped out of her trance in time to jump back from the black liquid Golem oozed out. "Ugh! What is that stuff," Amai question just before a horde of Shadows began to swarm from it, "EH?!" Gripping the rapier a little tighter, Amai tried to swallow her nerves as the first wave attacked.

Deciding to try out the cutting edge, Amai swung the rapier in a wide horizontal motion, easily taking out the first wave. Blinking at how easily the Shadows were dealt with, a smile then appeared on Amai's face, "Alright~ Let's do this Abra!" With that, Amai charged towards the Shadows as they charged at her. Slashing through a few more Shadows, Amai then sent out a perfectly executed fencing thrust that took out three Shadows at once. Continuing with slashing, thrusting, spinning, side-stepping and all other sorts of movements, Amai had almost taken care of all the Shadows when the sun was blocked out over her.

Looking up, she saw Golem Grandissimo's hand, getting ready to come down and try to squish her. Quickly turning and running, Amai jumped out of hte way just in time, landing on the wooden pier with an oof, "T-That was close!" Standing up, Amai was about to back away from Grandissimo when Abra had a different idea. "Come one! Slashy slashy at his heady!" "W-What?! N-No-WHOA!" Pulling Amai, Abra forced her to get on Grandissimo's arm and began to run up it. "A-Abra! Stop!" "Slashy!" About half was up his arm, Amai mentally shrugged and began to run faster. When she got to the top, she jumped off his arm and attempted at a slash at Grandissimo's head. While still in the air, a large sweat drop appeared on Amai's head, "I-I don't think we thought this all the way throoooooooooooooooooooooough!" Amai couldn't help but let out a small scream as she fell 6 stories.

Luckily for Amai, there was a bouncy castle that broke her fall.

After bouncing a few times and finally settling down on the bouncy castle, Amai couldn't help but laugh like a mad man after surviving an up-close attack on Grandissimo AND a 60+ foot fall. It wasn't until she heard a popping sound and air leaking out that Amai stopped laughing and a had a poker face. Abra had popped the bouncy castle for the hell of it. "Waaaaaaaah!" Amai let out yelp as she watched the bouncy castle collapse on her. "SQUISHY!"

After a few moments, nothing happened. But suddenly, Amai stabbed through all the layers of the bouncy castle with the rapier before shredding it into ribbons in a blinding fury. Standing there, in the middle of the former bouncy castle, Amai was breathing hard and fast. "Slashy~" Amai couldn't keep herself from facepalming.

Yoshiko’s nature was, perhaps, the most understandable in the situation she’d been thrown in. She was a delicate winter flower, and a swift transition from a world of school work and family duties to a battleground of magical warfare was, by far, perhaps going to wither the flower swiftly if not attended to justly; as such, it was down to the very weapon upon her feet to address the issue prominently, and chuckling she spoke again to the girl as she asked ‘Is something wrong? You might not be a fully-fledged and well trained magician, but I trust that the Ace of Clubs is much more talented that this(!)’ with evident light-heartedness in her voice as she softly chuckled, to which she, as soon as Yoshiko stood, shook slightly around her feet and hummed with curiosity, saying words of said curiosity, interest, etc. in regard to Yoshiko’s feet. She was very curious in Yoshiko’s build, and as such Yoshiko would feel Kadabra’s frosty presence creeping slowly up her calves, soon to be her thighs, as she chuckled softly with her usual tender voice.

In this time, Topper chuckled gazing down to Yoshiko, and in his rather spacious manner of speech, the word being better than to compare his voice to a high hippie at a free-love rock & roll festival, sounded aloud saying “Well…I have before me a little conundrum…whether to spin you up from your feet, and let you; or, rather, to roll over you…and let you spiral into…a small scenario of…sticky mess.”. The Jester soon, after this, began to track backwards, evidently working for some room, before he dashed back and leaped into the air, his body spinning towards her swiftly, a profound ringing from his bells on the tip of his hat, as well as the end of his sleeves, ringing madly; as he came closer to the girl, he extended his arms as they were ready to smack Yoshiko silly again, this time to belt her with hand over hand.

In a brief second, Kadabra chuckled into Yoshiko’s ear as she said ‘I hope you don’t mind…’ as she, swiftly, threw Yoshiko’s leg upwards and extending it, blade horizontal as it slice Topper’s spinning hand, easily cutting him, his wound freezing over, as he leaped backwards, anger burning in his eyes as he went to smash the ice, shaking his hand to wear off the feeling of frost. To this, Kadabra chuckled again saying ‘I’ll take very good care of you, Yoshiko: it seems you’ve not the body of a fighter, but rather that of a dancer…’ before allowing Yoshiko the reigns of her own body again. “…so, close your eyes and dance!” she chuckled, omitting her history with the group and, thus, knowing their weakness. ‘Trust me, we’ll have fun! You move your ways, and we’ll deal with this together.’ After this, Topper had, by then, had enough time to perform the exact same technique as before, and though vicious it left him exposed to Yoshiko’s attack.

In the meantime, Alaka heard Katz’ self-doubt, as well as his very analytical status, giggling as he made his moves with heavy precaution, and as such he buzzed into his head “Okay, I’ll give you a crash course~” As such, she tried to think very hard about how to simplify this for him and, as such, went on to say “First of all, I’ll protect you with my life, and this is a training exercise; I can’t let you die, but I need to awaken your latent magic powers, okay?” Clearing her throat, she tugged the BB pellets upon Katz to keep him from being blasted, whilst continuing to explain. “This is like a first person shooter game; your Magic is best suited to this style, so…let me see if I can do this…I must know a spel- Aha~!” Suddenly, the pellets began to glow softly as a eyepiece with visor poofed upon Katz’s head, her chuckling as she said “Consider that your Screen, and shoot to kill! We need to see just how gun worthy you are.”

From this, Grandisimo’s shades began to fall from the single touch of Amai’s deadly blade, however the Revenant fired another bulge of sludge, and of course from which came more shadows, all with blades, all charging for Katz; a few with bow & arrow took places further back as they positioned themselves, to which Alaka hummed “One shot kill! Don’t worry, my pellets will return to you for now, and you can control them with your thought! Now…show me everything you can do!” After which, a shade began to leap at Kazuo, his sword in air ready to dish out a lethal strike, however assuming Kazuo would counter this, the many more would soon begin their attempt to overwhelm him. Despite this, they knew little of Katz and, as such, they could very well fall face first into his battle plan.

Following this, Alaka swiftly went on to communicate with Kadabra as she informed her of the revenant, to which they eventually began to discuss and, as such, re-planned things out, Kadabra promisining to finish up her little pest control quickly before heading on out with Yoshiko; to this, Kadabra softly smiled and asked “Yoshiko, try finish this quickly and aim for the jugular. Katz has gotten on to the idea of the Revenant’s weakness, and we should exploit it, naturally.

Amai’s issue of a very happy-go-slaughter sword was relatively effective, as with Abra dragging her up Grandisimo’s arm before she went for a face strike came a very effective reward: rather than black goo, a crimson stream flowed from the eye of the Revenant, to which Abra relished in. “Woohoo~! I had a feeling there would need to be a central nucleus! We’ve exposed the brain!” he cheered with glee, as Grandisimo immediately flailed his hand upon his head in pain, groaning as his other, in stumbling grogginess, went to smash the bouncy castle’s entirety. After this, and eventually crashing into the Fortune Teller’s stand, the Revenant spotted the girl and, swiftly, lobbed black sludge to crush her in a single blow, following of course with a punch to finish the girl.

Hikari’s stepfather, too, watched in confusion, as he saw children with weapons going at it with the Golem, one of them attending the henchmen which, thankfully for his intervention, wouldn’t raid Lazuli with their swift strikes, and the other having grounded Grandisimo; as such, he wiped his forehead in utter confusion with what to do. “What now? We can’t have these kids killed! Furthermo- Oh for f*ck’s sake.” Following which he roared “GET THOSE KIDS OUT OF THERE NOW!” which, peculiarly, he was responded by an officer, jaw wide, explaining “They’re doing a better job than us, sir, shouldn’t we leave the-” “ARE YOU F*CKING INSANE? BAKA! THEY COULD DIE IN THERE…”

Shiro’s battle with Jestar was going, as expected, very well, as he had left him armless, which had been rendered into dust, as well as having torn the Jester’s outfit from his powerful attacks. Despite this, Jestar went on to attack as he threw a starry ball of energy to pummel Shiro to which, using the tip of his sword, he had redirected the attack straight for Jestar who, cussing from the act, was struck head on and launched off his feet, planted on his rear end and gasping for breath; as such, Shiro with blade to neck after slowly walking close, muttered “This is for Kadabra.” Before slitting his neck, a brief suffering before he turned to dust, as did Ribbon and Shade prior the event.

Eyes briefly scanning at Hyde, he sighed and moved from him, shrugging as he muttered “Battles of pride must be fought alone, no matter what circumstances: good luck, Hyde, you’ll need it.” Making his swift decent from behind the scenes, he simply sliced his way through the tent in order to see just what was going on…

As for Hyde, he continued to lob fireball after fireball, Lucian straining as each attempt was failed, Hyde dodging the attack just barely, with Oscuridad simply chuckling gazing from above, as he smugly jested a snigger. Following this, Lucian stated “Hyde, I must protest your rational thought: think clearly where to hit him rather than revenge, you’re not strong enough as of yet to use its potential.” To this, Hyde coughed and stood up, roaring “Why not fight like a man, you p*ssy?!” as he balled another fist, throwing it to the demon who, in turn, simply punched it into nothingness as he nodded. “Indeed…” Oscuridad stated. “…it is rather dull when I’m not on the offensive…” he continued, before vanishing from physical sight, rushing and dishing a powerful punch to Hyde’s gut, before reappearing, lips against his ear, as he whispered “…isn’t it?” before Hyde, naturally, grunted and fell from the blow.

Daisuke, pleading the demon to stop, yelled “Hyde, don’t be a hero; get out of here and run!” to which, Oscuridad caught Hyde by the left forearm and chuckled, lifting him off the ground as he said “You’re brother, Mr Lazuli Today, isn’t a hero; in fact, he’s far from it. This boy is a fool, and nothing more!” with a chuckle, before, suddenly, a dark blue aura connected from Oscuridad’s veins upon his wrist to Hyde, his left arm glowing dark blue. To this the jester naturally released him, demanding to know what had happened, however suddenly Lucian dispatched from Hyde as he fled, no reason given. From this sight Oscuridad kicked Hyde harshly in his head twice, asking “Get up, and ‘fight like a man’!”

He wouldn’t believe it when Hyde blasted him back with a ball of fire, but no natural fire: Oscuridad yelped as his chest was struck by blue flames, emanating from Hyde’s left hand, to which Hyde, initially surprised, smirked and began to throw them at the jester, again and again, noting his blocking attempts were weakening ever so slightly with each flame thrown.

Amai looked from her facepalm the moment Abra began to explain where they hit and to watch Golem destroy the fortuneteller stand that was only a few feet from her and bouncy castle. Letting out a little yelp when the Golem spotted her, Amai began to run as fast as she could as it lobbed a glob of black sludge at her. Narrowly avoiding that glob, Amai continued to run as it aimed to hit her with a punch. Narrowly avoiding that as well, Amai was sent flying along with wood shrapnel. Sitting up, she rubbed her head as she looked around, getting a better idea of the scenario. "I doubt it'll let us run up its arm again.. So Katz is gonna have to shoot the brain, but he's getting swarmed!" Amai then noticed the archer shadows pulling back on the string, "No you don't!" Standing up quickly, Amai ran towards the archers and began to take them out after a minute or so. She would have finished them off sooner if it wasn't for the fact the one of the Shadows kept running away from her.

Anyways, with the archers dealt with, Amai headed for the sworm, "Katz! When you can, try to shot Golem in the spot where I cut his face! I'll try to keep these guys off of you!" With that, Amai let out a battle cry as she jumped towards the swarm, swinging her sword as hard as she could. She took out about dozen or so Shadows with that swing, but what happened afterwards completely caught her off guard. In the middle of her swing, fire surrounded the rapier and flung out from it, taking out another couple of Shadows. The fire then burst the moment Amai got confused by the appearance of the it, taking out another Shadow or two. "W-What just happened...?" Blinking rapidly out of confusion, she looked down the rapier, noticing something flickering against the bottom of her shirt, "F-FIRE! AYEAAAAAH!"

Amai couldn't help but keep herself from running back and forth, screaming about fire, her flailing arms taking out a shadow or two with each pass. Sometime during her running back and forth, Amai remembered the old tuck, duck and roll rule about being on fire and was rolling back and forth, trying to distinguish the fire. As she rolled back and forth, she rolled into Shadows over and over, sending them flying in the air as a bowling ball hitting pins could be heard with each 'strike.' Once the fire was finally out, Amai sat up on her knees, covering her face with her hands, embarrassed by how she just acted. After a few moments, Amai looked up to see the number of Shadow's swarming Katz was greatly reduced. 'He should be able to take of them,' Amai thought to herself as she stood up and began to dust the ash off of herself, still embarrassed by what just happened. She then prepared for the next swarm that she was sure was going to show up an moment now.

Katz listened Alaka had to say. "This is just training for us...? This is apparently a problem that even rookies can take care of. So they really didn't need us to take care of this problem." It was then that his attention was brought back by Alaka tugging him out of the way of another one of the golem's attacks. "Oh, sorry. I zoned out for a second. Thanks for the save." Alaka then went on to talk about his magic. "So my magic basically works well with a gun...wait, how do you know what my magic is and why aren't you telling me what it is so I can just do it and kill these things more easily?" It was then that his pellets began to glow and an eyepiece with visor appeared on him. "Is this thing really necessary?"

The golem let out its largest dark glob yet and with that what seemed to practically be a small army of the shadow creatures. Unfortunately they had weapons this time. Some had swords and the ones way in the back had bows and arrows. "Well things became somewhat more difficult..." Barely a second later a shadow appeared in front of him. In reaction to this Katz instantly lifted up his airsoft pistol and pointed it at the shadow. "Is this the part where I'm supposed to say something clever or some sort of phrase from a song here? Uhh...I kiss you...no no. That's been done. Uhh...Crap, I've got nothing..." Katz simply shrugged before pulling the trigger and instantly killing the shadow. "So much for being a cool hero of justice..."

Katz went back into action by shooting at the shadows that were coming at them. He also made sure to dodge the arrows that were coming at him. "Damn, these arrows are getting harder and harder to evade yet I can't get at them because of all these other shadows. I could try using the homing capabilities of these shots but I bet these other shadows will just get in the way." He fired off a few more shots before quickly reloading. It was then that jumping on a table for a booth that he could see Amai cutting away at the shadows with bow and arrows. "Thanks, Amai!" He waved with one hand while shooting at shadows with the other.

Amai had then called out to him to shoot at the opening she had made earlier in the golem. "Is that golem bleeding? The anatomy of magical creatures makes zero sense to me. Do you even have blood, Alaka? I have no idea what you even are. You look human but most humans aren't able to turn into magical ammunition for BB guns. Maybe it's rude of me to be asking that. You seem like one of the good guys and that should be all that matters." He smiled at nothing in particular before jumping off the booth and opening fire on more of the shadows at a much faster rate.

Katz's goal now was to close distance between the golem and him so he could get some good shots at the opening. "I doubt I'll actually be able to do much damage to it but a good shot should probably be able to dramatically descrease its movement speed and further disorient it." It was then that something caught his eye. A light in the corner of his eye. Looking over to where he saw the light he quickly ducked down barely avoiding the wave of fire. "What just happened?!" Looking over at the direction the fire came from he could see Amai, whom was now on fire, After a little bit of running around she finally did the traditional stop, drop, and roll. A large sweat drop rolled down the side of Katz's face. "Let's forget that ever happened. She has a rather infamous attitude towards those that might embarrass or know something embarrassing about her."

Katz got back up and continued his charge towards the golem while making sure to shoot at all the shadows in his path until eventuall he was once again near the giant golem. He quickly jumped out of the way of one of the golems arms before firing a few shots at the opening created by Amai. "This will definitely help us buy for time until Yoshiko gets here."

Yoshiko’s jumped when Kadabra spoke asking her what was wrong, ‘What’s wrong!? Everything is wrong! I shouldn’t even be here!!’ She thought standing up. When she did, Kadabra vibrated around her feet, saying that even though she wasn’t a trained magician she had more potential than what she was showing. Yoshiko was inclined to disagree. Kadabra took a sudden interest in her body, namely her feet stating her curiosity with them which was soon formed into an interest of her body build. A sudden chill rushed up her calves and up to her thighs. It felt as if cold hands were tracing every fine muscle, and smooth skin on her leg. Kadabra chuckled, and like always it was a tender, kind laugh that assured Yoshiko that she wasn’t making fun of her. Instead trying to help and encourage her.

At this time Topped chuckled, Yoshiko’s eyes falling on him with unease. He began talking in a hippie voice, though none of his words made any sense to Yoshiko. Though when he backed up, only to jump back in with his next attack Yoshiko froze with fear. ‘I don’t want to be here.’ Yoshiko was scared. Never in her dreams had she expect to be in a situation like this. Her cheak still stung, probably more so than it should have. Reason being, she wasn’t used to being physically hit like that. Sure she suffered injuries due to her dancing career, but to be hit by another person was a first. Topper was now right in front of her, but Yoshiko didn’t know what to do.

Another chuckle was heard, and before Yoshiko knew it her leg felt like it was yanked up, and entended outwards. Yoshiko shrieked in surprise, her fear doubling seeing the anger in Topper’s eyes. ‘I’ll take very good care of you, Yoshiko: it seems you’ve not the body of a fighter, but rather that of a dancer…’ Yoshiko was able to move on her own again. “…so, close your eyes and dance!” Kadabra chuckled telling Yoshiko to trust her.

‘Dance? Sh-she wants me to dance?’ She gluped looking back at Topper who was coming back towards her. Just as she was going to panic she remembered what Kadabra said; Trust her. Yoshiko closed her eyes. All she needed to do was dance. Releasing her breath she dropped into fifth position, and just as Kadabra instructed she danced. The moment she did her insecurities went away. Her movements were fluid, and graceful as she seemed to dodge Topper's attacks. Though Yoshiko wasn't really focused on him as an enemy but more so as if he was her partner. Following his movements and flowing with him instead of against him, so to others it almost appeared as if they were performing a duet.

Yoshiko was inturrupted by Kadabra saying that they should end it, and she should aim for the juglar. Though her eyes remained closed, she pictured the Jesture in her mind. Calculating the speed and velocity of his turns, as well as his height and the anatomy of his body. Aim for the jugular, 'But that would kill him....But...He's trying to kill me....I'm sorry...' Having been dancing, her mind was in less tormoil and she made the desecion quickly as it was the most logical one for her. Yoshiko performed spotting (:14) spinning away from Topper, stopping with her back to him then performing an arabesque penche (1:07) her leg quickly, and effortlessly slipping right up and the horizontal blade aiming true for his jugular.

Grandisimo, needless to say, was irritated by the strike Amai dealt him, as well as her thrashing away the vast number of shadows he used to distract Katz from attacking him; when that BB Pellet struck him in his blood spot, the entire revenant made a quick jerk of it's movement, suddenly collapsing upon the remaining of the Shadows after that blow had dealt severe damage to it's movement; you could now tell, it was moving rather slowly, however this by no means meant he was less of a threat: as such, the Revenant swiftly began to smash its sludgy hand, one by one, over and over, wherever he saw Amai, in order to keep her moving, and in order to prevent her from exposing any more of his gooey nucleus of a brain.

Abra, however, had different plans; he was adamant on dragging Amai to and fro with his rapid swiftness, him panting in Amai's head saying "Ring around the rosies~ Pocket for of posies~" as his flamed blade made a very quick massacre of the Shadows which came Amai's way, leaving her to avoid Grandisimo's blows undistracted. Suddenly, rather than his little nursery rhyme, Abra began to sing his attempt at Sweet Home Alabama, despite aware he hadn't perfected the song yet: it was evident this kitty was having way too much fun on a battle field.

With Grandisimo's attention distracted upon the young chevalier that was Amai and her viciously psychotic blade Abra, the Shadows had no option but to try and outnumber Katz very quickly; the black ooze was a very resourceful spot as, with the existence of two, it spawned a total of ten Bladed Shadows, each targeting the gunslinging hero of justice, him in their sights, as they, mutely due to the inability to create any noise whatsoever, charged with swords raised high above their heads, all of them ready to thrash and pummel Katz into the ground as swiftly as he could make his moves, or so they thought, it being Alaka's fast bursts instead of Katz which saved his skin.

As such, with sight of this opening, Alaka told Katz "They can't shield themsel- wait...oh, right, they can't shield themselves no matter what...go Trigger Happy, Spade-kun~!" as she displayed on his visor a little minimap so he could see enemies around him with much more ease, as well as his ammo count; what Katz'd soon see was that the bullets he had already shot began to fly around and return into an unused clip, needless to say making work of the Shadows they came across. "Do you like First Person Shooter Games, Spade-kun~?"

Kadabra smiled as she softly echoed "You're grace is, without a doubt, second to none: I am honoured to be in your presence; let's finish this." as Yoshiko's blade swiftly sliced through Topper's neck, him instantaneously freezing over, before of course the demon turned into dust as did the others, although much more notably icy since, well, she was wearing ice skates; softly sighing with relief after that encounter was finished, she giggled softly, very proud of Yoshiko's work already. "Even in the death of your enemies, you seek forgiveness? Without a doubt, you are worthy of your herald, and your destiny as a Magician Yoshiko Watanabe." before, of course, turning her outside of the tent. "Now, lets help out your friends!"

Shiro, having taken a headstart, had swiftly arrived to Katz after, pressumably, he had dealt with the Shadow Waves, as well as any others that would come his way, and in between this next wave Shiro took his pistol, it swiftl glowing white softly, before he gave it back to Katz as he stated "Explosive Rounds: we're finishing this off now. I will open a psycho-channel, we'll plan how to kill Grandisimo." running off towards the horde of Shadows and, of course, slicing and dicing them into nothingness. He soon turned to Katz again and said "Alaka, why didn't you tell him to attack the pools?" before he stabbed one with his sword, it drying up swiftly, hoping that demonstration alone would tell the ranged fighter exactly what he could do.

[Meanwhile]

Hyde, however, was smirking as his attacks continued to smash away at Oscuridad's defences, each ball of fire crippling to the demon as he barked "Get away from me, you brat!" his arm quivering from having to have blocked such intense flames, his forearm's sleeve scorched into nothingness, his arm badly burnt.

"Not until you give me my brother back!" Hyde cried out in turn, bombarding the jester with his attacks with the utmost speed, power, and frequency. "You have no right to do this, you shouldn't even be here! You should stick to the underworld where you belong!" The tone of Hyde's voice was wavering, one could know his emotions were running wild as he fought for his brother's life, seemingly winning, unknowingly losing, and yet he had the gut feeling that the next counter would take place.

Oscuridad suddenly disappeared, Hyde's eyes widened from shock, before his skull was tapped by the tip of the sceptre, Hyde feeling immobile from the technique. The jester, to this, chuckled loudly and proudly, evident sarcasm in the manner in which he taunted, his hand seemingly unharmed. "You really think you could kill a Rank B Demon, huh?" he remarked. "You're not practised! You may have awoke your powers, through mine nonetheless, but you don't know how to use them! How can you save your brother, or even yourself, when fighting with a weapon you don't even know how to use?" Following the mockery, and the chuckle turining into a sadistic, maniacal laughter, he swiftly kicked Hyde in the skull, the boy being flung until he crashed upon the ground, a trinkle of blood from his skull as he struggled to gaze up.

"You BAST*RD!" Daisuke roared as he watched the brutal act take place before his very eyes, shaking in his spot as he desperately seeked to save his injured little brother, who by then was gazing up at the two, an evident line of blood having reached from his forehead to his jawbone by then. As such, when Oscuridad warped infront of Daisuke, the jester smirked and gazed into his eyes, his sceptre poking into his gut as the jester began to sadistically snicker, Daisuke's own eyes filled with both rage and fear as his irises in his eyes shook leering into the demon's.

Yoshiko looked at the icy dust on the ground that was once Topper. She could hardly she was able to pull it off. A tint of red form on her cheeks and she pushed up her glasses in embarressment from Kadabara's words. Suddenly she was turned to the exit, no doub't Kadabra's doing, faultering from her last few words. 'Friends?...' Were they really her friends? She just happened to get caught up in all of this. They never talked or hug out before this, so exactly what quialified them all as being friends? Believing these were thoughts for another time she ran, well skated would be the more accurate term, out towards the other though not before wishing Hyde luck with his brother.

When she got out there she saw Shiro was already there, and fighting that thing she saw earlier. Numerous shadow like things were out and attack the others. Yoshiko came to a stop close to Katz. "W-what should I do n-now, Kadabra?" She asked her nerves, fear and uneasiness quickly returning.

It was time for the big one. All the Aces, present at this time of course, were now available for Shiro to plan a way to defeat the Revenant, and hopefully in that time to help out Hyde. So, Shiro gazed up at Golem Grandisimo with his permanently adamant eyes, them very well as sharp as a knife, and analysed him strategically. It was, seemingly, a single liquid entity wrapped in leather. A single liquid entity with leather armour, and a brain in it's head, it seemed. It began to piece together, the plan was coming through, and as such Shiro telepathically communicated the other's quickly, determined to lay down the game plan. It was time to finish it all up, and as such how better to do so than make use of all the Ace's little attributes?

"Alright, listen up." Shiro immediately stated, gazing around as he continued to deal with the pools of shadows, eliminating the spawns as quickly as he could. "Grandisimo is liquid, so if we can freeze him, it's game over: the brain will die, and with that finished the entirety of the Golem will fall, simply collapsing into the ground as pieces of ice. However, the leather will absorb a lot of the cold, and not only that, if it's brain is still active, he will be able to act against us: what we need to do is set him up in a trap. Furthermore, if it collapses here, it will kill many of the crowd. We need to edge him closer to the ocean, and I've figured out a way what we can do to achieve just that." he went on to explain, coughing to clear his throat as he continued his communications.

"First of all, Rosa, or Ull, you'll be the Behemoth: you need to drive Golem Grandisimo closer to the ocean." Shiro went on with his orders, soon taking out the last of the spawn pools with another sword of light. "You have brute strength, and Ull is well known as a powerful entity: push him, throw him, or even lead him up to the end of the pier. You're a crucial part to this tactic, take it seriously, don't mess around, and execute the command quickly and effectively. You're key to piecing this all together, we need a good start; Lord Gringham knows you can do this, and I trust his judgement: make him proud."

"Katz." Shiro then went on to instruct. "You're going to play two key roles: firstly, you are the Cloud: when Golem Grandisimo is in position, you must immediately, without any hesitation, barrage his brain wound with bullets. It will stop him from retaliating. You'll do this however you can, however I assume you'll want high ground. Do whatever means necessary, I can trust your just nature to bring an end to this monster." Shiro, nodding to Katz briefly for a break, further instructed "...your second role is the Executor: you'll use whatever means necessary to aid me in destroying the Frozen Revenant: pretty simple, just smash it."

"Amai." Shiro stated, his gaze to the girl with the sword. "You'll be the Disarmament: I assume the leather Grandisimo is wearing both will protect him from attacks and influences upon him. You'll need to get up close and give him what for: you'll have to attack his leather and rip through it, maybe top to bottom. In doing so, you will leave it's form prone, allowing Katz and Ull to inflict much more serious damage: without this attack, we will not beat Grandisimo, so you must do it quickly when Ull has it in position."

"Yoshiko." Shiro went on, his gaze and body turned to her. "You'll be the Blizzard: I saw, inside the tent, how easily your ice works, so you're going to take advantage of Golem Grandisimo's liquid form by freezing him. When Amai removes the leather, you need to get up and close, and you need to freeze him swiftly; it won't be hard, simply circle him and keep the cold going, that should finish him off easily enough. When he's an ice sculpture, we'll destroy him, so you can see how important you are in this battle right here, right now."

Turning back to the Revenant, Shiro groaned before calling back "Any questions, save them for later: just remember this guy will slow down with each hit he takes, so it'll just get easier here on out. Be fast, be brutal, and be merciless. He came here to end lives, we're putting an end to his. Magicians, it's on your hands now, so make our Master proud." as he drew yet another white sword, his scowl at the enormous revenant fierce; it wasn't until barely a second later when Lucian Cobble appeared swiftly before them all, a smile on his peaceful face, as he watched them all proudly. It was evident he was carrying very good news, news which the Aces might just find handy at the time.

"Hyde has awakened his powers, and Lord Gringham believes it is time we unlocked your's." Lucian muttered, to which the entirety of the Aces glowed white briefly. Abra and Alaka parted from the two, Amai and Katz' enchantments leaving them, as Lucian explained "You'll find out your powers will activate themselves: experiment, and do not worry." before gazing over to Yoshiko, more so her skates as he pondered why Kadabra wouldn't part from Yoshiko.

"I have to refuse your offer, Mr Cobble." Kadabra went on to say. "Yoshiko needs me right now, and I will not leave her just yet."

Chuckling softly in understanding, Lucian took the other two back by the ears as he furthered the point of "Experiment, and you will find out what you can do: sink or swim."

Ull and Rosa, having recently finished off some of the small fry, chuckled in unison. The shadow that had been enveloping Rosa's arm receded and formed into a small ball, now becoming Ull yet again.

"Oh, I've been waiting for you to give the okay on this, my sweet Shiro~!" Rosa exclaimed, with Ull nodding in unison. Rosa began chanting in her odd demonic language, her pitch shifting from that of her normal voice to that of a deep, booming sound, more akin to an actual demon.

She ended her chant quickly with a sealing pact, this time in Japanese. "I now surrender my body to the demon Ull, for his use, in order to destroy my enemy." Ull disappeared in a flash of white light, with Rosa collapsing to the ground, giggling. Her breathing stopped, and then her heart. "I can never get over the feeling of physical death," she projected towards the rest the group. "It just icks me to kill myself time and again, you know? Needless to say, my body needs to be empty for Ull to come into this world... For now, I'm going to be in Hell. I'll be back when everything is said and done."

A black shadow enveloped her collapsed body from head to toe. Black tendrils shot out from the mass, stabbing several of the black beasts around it, dragging them towards her. They made sounds of pain, and cried out until they reached the girl. The tendrils split into two, then four, then six, then eight, until a seemingly infinite number of them enveloped the creatures, dragging them into and onto her body, where the melded with her. She stood up, her mouth in a curving, vicious grin, shadow-like blood dripping from her arm, her legs, her hair. Her eyes were blood red, from iris around.

"I forgot how limited my powers were in that stupid eye form!" Ull said through his host's mouth. An insane laugh escaped, before thousands of shadow tentacles exploded from her mouth, which formed a larger body around her; she grew and grew, until she was nearly as tall as Grandissimo itself. A large shadow tendril exploded from the mass on each side, forming arms, while the mass slithered on a single tentacle. Ull was in his true form, now.

"Small fry like you," Ull mused, "Shouldn't even be considered for summoning!" Ull slammed his massive fist into the side of Grandissimo, easily sending him back a few steps. "You are nothing, you foolish child. You are weak! I am a god among demons, and you dare think you can stand against me?" Ull cackled, obviously fool of himself. Grandissimo threw a swift punch at Ull, but Ull simply caught his arm. "And you dare strike back at me? You childish creature. Accept your fate." With a swift jerk to the side, Grandissimo's arm was ripped off and thrown into the ocean., and Ull dealt another blow into Grandissimo's stomach that sent him back onto the pier. With utter speed and strength not expected of something his size, Ull slammed his fist into the skull of Grandissimo, disorienting the creature.

Ull turned his massive eye towards the rest of the group.

"Easier done than said," he growled in his demonic voice, the pitch ever changing. "The problem with these demons is their sheer resilience, but Shiro was right when he said freezing him is the easiest way to send it to Hell."

Ull backed away from the demon and fell backwards, the shadows dissipating from his body. He hit the ground hard, now in Rosa's form, though no damage was suffered.

"I can only put so much strain on her," he said, sighing.

Theme song for this post

Amai blinked with Abra left her hand and went to normal. "A-Abra! Wait! What am I suppose to do without a weapon!?" "Experiment and do not worry," she heard Lucian say. Looking down at her hands, she tried to think of what to do for an experiment, 'First off.. I need a weapon to slice through the leather.. Two would be even better.. I wonder..' Closing her eyes, Amai crossed her arms and brought her hands to her side, as if she had two rapiers on her hip. Concentrating, she imagined two rapiers in her hands, a black one in her left hand and a white one in her right. Bring her hands forward and to her side as if she unsheathed the rapiers, they magically materialized in her hand. Jumping a little at how it actually worked, it took a moment before Amai came back to her senses as Ull and Rosa worked on getting Golem into place. Gulping a little, Amai looked to Yoshiko, "Well.. You ready for this? I'll keep the Golem's attention on me, so go ahead and concentrate on freezing him, alright?" Nodding to Yoshiko, Amai took off towards the Golem.

As Amai ran towards the Golem, it suddenly struck her what was happening and it took everything she had from running around and hightailing it out of there, but she knew she couldn't. Far too many people were counting on her to do this job. Yoshiko, Katz, Shiro, Hyde and the rest of the town was counting on her to do this, whether they knew it or not. Gulping Amai, pressed on and dodged to the right as the Golem tried for a slam at her with his remaining arm. Jumping at his arm, Amai make quick work of the leather surrounding his forearm and hand with her two rapiers before moving on to his right knee and below, trusting that Yoshiko was behind her, doing her part of the assault on this demon.

After dealing with his right knee and below, Grandissimo dropped to what was remaining of his knee as Amai worked on the other one. Having now brought the demon down to a workable height, Amai sliced and diced at the remainder of the leather with relative ease. With his feet gone and his remaining arm practically immobilized, this pretty much became a one-sided fight.

"I'm sorry." Yoshiko apologized to Kadabra who felt she should stay with Yoshiko due to her unease. Kadabra simply chuckled, "It's alright, I chose to stay with you because you still need me. Soon you will be able to fight on your own, but for now be put at ease for I am with you." Kadabra's words did exactly what they set out to do, calm Yoshiko's mind. Unlike the others, if she had been left alone Yoshiko might have compeltely fallen, unable to do anything. It was only beacue of Kadabra's help that she was able to stay this long. Yoshiko was sure her mind had stopped tryign to process everything already, and was simply going with the flow. "Thank you Kadabra."

In coorilation with Shiro's plan, Yoshiko waited for Rose and Amai to act before going into action. Now that the Reverant was away from the people and Amai had rid it of it's protctive leather, it was her turn to freeze the monster. She took Amai's spot, and began rapidly circling the creature first in a wide circle, which quickly became smaller and smaller. Within the circumfrence, and chilling, icy wind formed, which shot up to the sky in a large column. When the wind dissapated, the Reverant was frozen in place.

"I...I actually did that?" Yoshiko mumbled in awe.

"Thats right," Kadabra responded, "Even now you are extremely talented. In the future you will be a formidable foe, I am glad to have been your partner." Yoshiko blushed as she moved back for Katz to deliver the final blow.

Katz listened to all of Shiro's plan and nodded his head after he had finished. "Just as I thought. Magic or not the golem is still bound by physics and magic in general does have some normal logic applied to it...I figured freezing would work so I had Alaka contact Yoshiko. The only problem though is our lack of explosives...wait...did he just call Gringham OUR master. Can't say I want to agree with that sta-wait...Rose is probably reading my mind again. Now I really can't say I'm a fan of that massive invasion of my privacy from somebody who's supposedly an ally. If you're listening please stop. It's very rude."

Before they could start the plan Alaka along with Abra had turned back to her original form due to Lucian's powers. Katz no longer had his visor or a good chunk of his ammunition. Katz felt that hearing that Hyde had awakened his powers was actually fairly useless information but it was the next thing Lucian had said that was actually somewhat helpful. "Right, of course. I forgot this was only ever training. Continuing with Alaka's analogies it's merely the tutorial level. Now you're just having us try and unlock our powers. I'll see what I can do." He then looked towards Alaka and smiled. "Thank you for your help so far and believing in me to do things on my own. I won't let you down."

With all things said everybody moved into action. Katz quickly took out another clip and reloaded before looking around. "I need to find somewhere in which I can get to a high elevation..." It didn't take long to find the perfect location. He of course was checking out the ferris wheel. "I never did get the chance to ride the ferris wheel last night." He quickly rushed over to the ferris wheel's controls. "Uhhh...let's see here..." He quickly flipped a switch that looked like it would start it. Nothing happened. After screwing with a few more buttons still nothing happened. "Dammit, they must have turned the power off for this thing."

Katz looked back with wide eyes to see the giant Ull beating up the golem. "I-is that really Rosa?!" Seeing Ull knock the golem into the water made Katz know he had to hurry up. He looked at the cab that looked closest to the ground. "Am I really about to climb a ferris wheel? The things I do for justice..." He took a few steps back before sprinting forward. When close he jumped up with arms outstretched. He grabbed onto the top of the cab and pulled himself up. Looking at the next cart Katz knew it'd be far more difficult to get to the next cab. "How am I going to get to that next cab...? I can't get a good running start and even if I could...dang..."

Katz held his hand out as he imagined grabbing onto the next cab. "If only I could...huh?" A grey circle appeared in front. The circle was filled with intricate patterns of odd symbols that were completely incomprehensible to Katz. "W-what is that? Did..I make that..with magic?" He remembered what Lucian had told them. "Just experiment..." Katz jumped through the circle and was quickly launched forward. He landed on the top of the next cab. He pulled himself up and patted himself off. "I just used magic!" Katz looked up at the highest cab. "Getting up there just got so much easier..." Another one of the circles appeared in front of him before he jumped once again. He repeated the process a few times until he was finally at the top cab.

Katz's timing was perfect as it seemed that Yoshiko had just started freezing the golem. "Now it's my turn to finish the golem off...wait, how am I suppoed to do that? First of all I need explosives. Second of all I need more range. My location isn't too far away from the golem but my bbs still aren't enough on their own...wait a moment...that...whatchamacallit appears to be able to launch me forward...maybe it'll work for my bbs too..." He held his bb gun in front of him. "Can I just...?" The circle appeared on the muzzle of his gun so that bbs would pass through it. He then waved his gun around to make sure it stayed on the muzzle. "I'm able to mark things like the air or objects with this. Based on observations of Amai they appeared to turn into equipment that resembled our powers or what they'd be. Amai was given a rapier and was then able to spawn two rapiers. Yoshiko I will assume will have ice powers or it just allowed her to more easily use them. I'm not sure though. Mine though...I have that marker that allows me to gain a major boost of speed and will assumingly boost the speed of my bbs. I can place the marker on my muzzle after all. And I was given bbs that had homing capabilities and could slow the enemy...so mine must be good in correllation with my gun even if not directly needing it..." He pointed his gun at Golem Grandismo. His clip glowed red for a mere second before he fired off 10 shots at the giant frozen golem. Each bb, sped up dramatically by the Mach Marker, exploded when they came in contact with the golem.
