Amai's eyes widened a bit when Katz took hold of her wrist and started to drag her to the tent, after getting in his 2-cents worth of his opinion of the matter in of the situation between her and her brother. Rather fight back, she just went along with Katz, knowing it'll be easier and less strainful on the two. She was also too busy digesting what he said to be able to fight back effectively, anyways. 'He knows.. He knows I worry about him and that's why I get upset with him when he's gone for days at a time.. It's probably just a phase in his life, too.. He is at that age.. But what if what Katz said is true? He did start going out to parties and what-not right around the time Mom and Dad left.. Then again, without Mom and Dad there telling him what he can or can't do, he is free to do as wish so... I dunno.. I'll have to have a chat with Karai when he gets home..' Amai though to herself the whole time they were rushing to get into the tent.

Pushing her self-discussion to the side, she noticed they were already in the tent and were looking for seats. Looking around with Katz, she tried to spot some seats as well. All the ones she was able to manage to spot were one-seaters before she heard Katz yell out, [background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"Yo-Shiko!" To keep the circus performance short, it was good.

As the performance came to a close, Daisuke rolled his eyes as he gazed over to his little brother, who's feet were tapping his seat at a constant rate with obvious eagerness to see that performer who'd somewhat entranced him to come to see her after the show; as the crowd began to part, Daisuke's hand fell upon his shoulder as he said "Are you protected?" with the coolest calmness you'd ever see, Hyde's train of thought completely derailed as he gazed to Daisuke, eyes widened from the blunt comment which, essentially, brought a bright blush to his cheek as he had to make a comeback to that; "Wh-what? Why would you- I don't think she's looking for-" "I'm just talking about anti-mosquito spray bro, but I like the way you think.(!)" Daisuke chuckled out as he caused his brother to turn a great crimson, Hyde growling at his brother's tease as he wrapped him in an embaressment fuelled headlock.

After said headlock, Hyde and Daisuke made their way to Ribbon's dressing room, having walked through the staff only section: it seemed to be shady inside this part of the tent, now that most of crowd had parted from the performance to catch the closing arcade games and food stands, etc. And so, the two ended up in a corridor, underneath a single light bulb in a huge tent, crates galore; they were lost, and confused, Daisuke complaining to Hyde to have asked for directions, Hyde responding with the fan-gets-kicked-out-for-seeming-like-a-stalker argument, and yada yada yada. However, by then, in the distance, they had heard a pair of footsteps, owned by a pair of people: as expected, it was both Ribbon and her male companion whom she had addressed as Shade. Upon seeing Ribbon's face, Hyde immediately began to make a move towards her with a smile and open arms "I came, just like you a-"

And then, like that, Hyde's neck was grasped by Shade who immediately began and elevated the boy off his feet, smirking as he said "You're right Ribbon, he's utterly radiant with it." with a slight chuckle: Daisuke, to this, instinctively, barked as he made a dash for Shade yelling "Hey, get your f*cking hands off him!" with evidently intensely aggressive eyes, which soon was turned widened in paralysis as he found himself at the end of the golden capped barrel of Ribbon's pistol, the girl using her siren's smile as she glanced, briefly, to Hyde's eyes as she said "I could feel how strong your power was from the bench, Fleur, so much delicious, exciting power; I just had to see it for my own eyes." with her usual hypnotic voice, sounding so sweet, yet her message could not be more menacing. Hyde, struggling beneath Shade's grasp, barked "What are you to-AAUGHH!!!-" soon to be cut short by Shade's choke, the owner of the choke ordering Hyde silent, as with Daisuke. "You both shan't speak until our master has arrived." Ribbon then quickly adding "Unless, of course, you show us your power, Fleur."

Daisuke snapped as he roared "His name isn't Fleur, it's Hyde!" in frustration of the situation getting out of hand. "Bro, you just gave away my identity!" Hyde soon responded realizing the error in Daisuke's ways, Shade again barking at the two to remain silent. At this time, Ribbon's eye glowed a dark purple aura as she, seemed to be at least, began to communicate to an external entity whom she constantly referred to as Oscuro, gun at the boys, Shade now holding Hyde's collar instead. How could either party expect the swoop from the darkness above? As silent as a feather, his shoes making the only sound as they clotted against the dirt, a black furry jacket, black glove holding it across chest, black apparel, but unmistakable blue hair and eyes. Standing up, he simply stared at the two clowns with his stern, yet unbreakable calm glance, gazing across from behind Daisuke to the jesters; and too were the gazes of the jesters, fixed upon him, nerves evident in their eyes, but it wasn't them who broke the silence. Simple words fell from Hyde's lips.

"Shiro..."

Yoshiko's gaze was solely focused forward, waiting for the performance to begin, her mind racing with many different reason why she should just go back hom, yet not moving a single inch. Until she heard the most strangest rendition of her name, "Yo-shiko!" Yoshiko turned to see two more faces she recognized; Katz and Amai. Katz happy waving made her feel uncomfortable, reason being, she knew she should wave back since that was the normal thing to do, but to wave showed friendship right? She wasn't exactly friends with them. He turned to asked the girl some, to which she agreed and they started making their way toward her. Yoshiko looked at the two empty seats beside her, and then at the other two coming closer.

'Are they looking to sit beside me? But would that not ruin their date?...Besides my company would be most boring.' She thought her eyes carefully watching Katz and Amai's movements. Amai greeted her-Yoshiko nodded her head in greeting-then asked if they could sit down.

'What should I do? Such a simple question, so why am I sweating it so much? Just say yes. It's not that hard...Beside it's just a seat, them sitting beside you doesn't mean anything. In any case, people are just a distraction....Right?' Finally Yoshiko gave a curt nod at the two, once again pushing up her glasses, which was quickly revealing itself to be a nervous fidget of hers. Eventually the show began, and Yoshiko was completely amazed by what she saw. The animal tamers, the acrobatics, and effects were all amazing. The only indication of her awed, and transfixed state was the fact that she wouldn't tear her eyes away from the show; though she was the same way in class so it was hardly any difference.

She couldn't believe there was something like this that she didn't know about. The way some of the acrobats moved reminded her of her own dancing, and she found herself taking notes of their movements to try them out herself. This was one of the most amazing things she had ever seen in her life. All to soon - in Yoshikos opinion - the show was over, and people were starting to leave. She too stood up and looked down at Katz and Amai, waiting for them to do the same so that she could exit the tent. With everything now over, she needed to quickly return home.

As the performance came to an end, Amai stood up and stretched out her arms and legs. She was very impressed with the performance: there were moments of marvel, moments of elegance and moments of suspense that held everyone at the edge of their seats, even Amai. Stepping back, she made room for other people to go past her and make their way to the exit. She'd rather wait a few moments for the crowd to get thinner than to be knocked about within the crowd, like earlier. Looking to Katz and Yoshiko, she said, "You guys can go ahead, if you want. I'm going to wait out the crowd.."

From the looks of it, Amai wasn't the only one that stuck around. As she started to walk down the stairs to leave, Amai noticed Hyde and Daisuke were heading into the circus members only section, 'How odd.. For one.. they shouldn't be going in there. And two, where's Daisuke's usual swarm of fangirls? If there aren't fangirls, then something fishy is going on and I'm not talking abou-ANYWAYS.. I better go grab them before they get banned from the circus forever..' Looking to Katz and Yoshiko, if they were still there, she waved to them, "I'll catch up with you later, I've got some business to take care of back stage." With that, she broke off from them and headed to the back.

As she entered, she looked around, noticing how it was rather empty and quiet, 'Something is definitely not right.. and it's not a fishy smell this ti-' Amai stopped talking when she thought she heard someone yell. "W-Was that Hyde?" she uttered out as she slowly made her way towards the direction she thought she heard Hyde. Carefully looking around the corner, she heard [background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"His name isn't Fleur, it's Hyde!" [/background][background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"Bro, you just gave away my identity!" Besides seeing Hyde and Daisuke, she saw one of the performers holding Hyde up in the air with a single arm while another held Daisuke at gun point. Pressing her back to the wall, she wondered what to do. She could run to get help, but then she might get spotted, she was already lucky enough to make it this far without getting spotted. Looking around, she wondered if there was something she could use to fight with. She spotted an umbrella and a balancing pole.[/background][background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] 'Neither one of them is a rapier but I'd imagine I could adapt.. I'd have to take out the chick with the gun, first.. The guy would be hard, considering he's lifting up Hyde with one arm.. But if I can free up Daisuke, he could help..'[/background][background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] Before she could move to grab something, she heard Hyde utter out a single word, [/background][background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"Shiro..." The show was amazing. 'Nuff said. Actually, that was pretty much all that was said on the matter. But Katz certainly did agree with that single statement even if there wasn't a specific part that really stood out to him. Now some sort of gun shooting show would have been awesome. He'd love a coin with a bullet through it as a souvenir. That'd make for an awesome souvenir. Unfortunately they didn't though. Might be against the law to be shooting where they are. The moment he thought of that he threw out all thoughts. For a law abiding citizen such as Katz such illegal thoughts could in no way be awesome even though if they did it and it were legal to do it then it would have been pretty fcking awesome.

Now that the show was over everybody was beginning to leave the tent. The main show was over and a lot of people would probably leave afterwards. Perfect...the lines for virtually everything would be significantly smaller. The carnival has only just begun. Now Katz could enjoy the carnival games with two cute chicks. Well, he didn't actually care for the fact that they were girls and both incredibly cute. He was just glad to be hanging out with two of his classmates though even though he may just as much want to hang out with his parents but it seemed like the two girls here actually needed him. Amai's lonliness was obvious and Yoshiko is generally unsociable. Everyone in school knows that. To be out here where there's a lot of people was probably pretty uncomfortable for her.

Katz having his wonderful observational skills was able to catch sight of Hyde as well. "Heh, they're here too. They must have backstage passes if they're going back there and the security is doing absolutely nothing about their clear tresspassing. That or they know some people. Hyde's brother is a model after all. I wouldn't rule it out." He ended up simply coming up with nothing obvious could really be wrong. It'd be pure intuition I suppose. As a man his would be supposedly lower so he must not have caught what was apparently obvious even though he IS Katz.

Katz found it kind of odd that Amai had then left in what seemed like the same direction as the door Hyde had just gone through but he waved goodbye to her anyway. "Hm, she must have a crush on Hyde. Good for her." He then remembered the other girl that had been awkwardly standing next to him just trying to get out this whole time. He smiled at her before saying, "It appears it's just us two now. Oh wait, that sounded somewhat odd, didn't it?" A quick look over at her and he could tell how uncomfortable she was. Again, pretty much common knowledge that she always was nervous around people. "I have to watch my wording as to not scare you. It's certainly something I'll need to work on as a police officer dealing with victims of some sort of crime." He quickly coughed twice before ushering an 'ahem.' He then smiled at her again. "The carnival is no fun when you're by yourself. Let's go play some games and get some food. You can't just go to a carnival and not get some funnel cake and go to a shooting gallery. Those things are fun and legal. Come on, I'm buying."

Yohsiko continued to wait, wondering why they were taking so long, when Amai suddenly left. Yoshiko followed the short female, as she got further away from her and Katz. Further down was Hyde and that older guy going backstage, and it looked like Amai was heading in the same direction as well.

"Hm, she must have a crush on Hyde, good for her." Katz mused, then turned to me. "It appears it's just us two now. Oh wait, that sounded somewhat odd, didn't it?" Yoshiko's grip on her bag tightened and she slowly glanced at the ground a dust of red forming on her face. That sounded very odd. She wasn't even used to being around people, so hearing that she was left alone with Katz was nerve racking to her. He then said something about speaking carefully as to not scare her, Yoshiko had the urge to raise a brow but her placid expression remained. Instead she settled for pushing up her glasses.

"The carnival is no fun when you're by yourself. Let's go play some games and get some food. You can't just go to a carnival and not get some funnel cake and go to a shooting gallery. Those things are fun and legal. Come on, I'm buying." Yoshiko quickly looked at him, a rare expression of surprise on her face. She didn't think he would ask for her to hang out. She knew she wasn't the most sociable person, though that was mostly her fault. Yoshiko didn't make herself approachable to others, but she had just forced herself to get used to it. Ridding herself of her surprised expression she again looked down somewhat embarrassed, "I...I have never played games before, or eaten a funnel cake. I think...I would like that. To do those things and have...Fun?" She phrased it as a question, still a bit unsure herself but she waited for Katz to move before following all thoughts of going home far from her mind.

Katz slammed his fist into the air after Yoshiko had accepted his proposal...to hang out...yep, that's it and all there is to it. Absolutely nothing more or less. Just two classmates of opposite genders hanging out at a carnival. Dammit, Katz and your complete lack of ulterior motives. Why can't you take advantage of a cute defenseless young girl like a normal guy? You're such a terrific person. While I was ranting Katz had pretty much figured out the game plan for what they should do. "Well thinking about it we can't actually partake in the fatty goodness that is carnival food just yet. You see, if we eat already then we won't exactly have much fun on the rides such as roller coasters or maybe some sort of haunted ride if you know what I mean."

Katz cleared his throat before continuing. "Well we should probably start with the carnival games and with those move onto some of the rides like the roller coaster, haunted house, and that humongous ferris wheel. I think you can get a pretty good view of the city from there." He of course had no knowledge of Yoshiko's massive fear of heights. "Then after we go on all the rides we can grab some of the food here. That should be how we optimize our fun to the max." He already had begun to run off towards the entrance. After reaching there he turned back around and waved towards her hile wearing his casual friendly smile. "Come on, let's get going."

Yoshiko simply stood, stared and listened to Katz while he talked very animatedly about all of the things that they could, and would do while at the carnival. She thought that he talked quite a bit, but figured that it was a good thing since she hardly talked at all. This way it wouldn't be quite between them. Besides all he was trying to do was keep the atmosphere light and not awkward, and his calm, reassuring smile and enthusiastic attitude was doing the trick. She blinked, coming from her thoughts and saw Katz already down at the entrance waving at her, and smiling. Yoshiko was about to wave back but hesitated before her arm even raised. "Come on, let's go."

'I wish I had did more research on carnivals. I didn't know I would be coming to one...I wonder what kind of games are here. Do they have cotten candy? Or cakes? Candy?' Though it wasn't known, Yoshiko had a very insatiable sweet tooth, especially when it came to baked goods, and though she couldn't cook to save her life, she was also a gourmet lover. So to say she was excited to try all of the different foods here was an understatement. Though one wouldn't be able to tell by the look on her face. She glanced at Katz and then looked away, once again that awkward air returning around her. 'Should I try to talk to him? That would be the polite thing to do? But what do I say? I'm not good with making small talk, and what if I make a fool of myself and then he wants to leave? Then I'll be here all alone! No wait, I don't think Katz would do that. Well I don't really know him, maybe I should ask a question about him? But what should I ask?'

Yoshiko's face remained neutral, as she thought long and hard about what to say. She could solve complicated math and science problems, but when it came to conversing she didn't have a clue. Finally, in a small voice, she asked, "Whats....Your favorite color?", and a push of her glasses followed her sentence. She spoke so low that Katz might not have heard hear if he was talking to her. Though now that she had finally asked a question she was hoping he hadn't heard her. 'Really? Is that the best I could come up with? Maybe I should just leave the talking to him.'

Chapter 2 - Murky White Sheet

The white hair flickered as Shiro stood there, seemingly blank, calm, serene, despite the serious nature of what was going on around him, as if everything was under control, which served in complete contrast the the surroundings: Hyde held by his collar, Daisuke at gun point, two assassins who seemed very eager to begin much more violence. Flicking a lock from his eyes, his deep blue eyes, Shiro gazed over to Ribbon, the girl snarling as she shouted "Oh, so you want to die first? Fine!" before firing a single shot towards Shiro, yet in the instant she placed a single inch of flesh upon that trigger, Shiro hand flashed white as he threw it in Ribbon's direction, a small flicker of light having met, and reflected the bullet, firing it into Ribbon's shoulder, to which she dropped the gun; furthermore, as the white flicker flew back to Shiro, he directed it around and back to Ribbon again, with even more momentum, as the small white light launched her off her feet, crashing into crates nearby, a yelp from the girl as she was sent into the wooden boxes, a huge pile of pre-inflated balloons crashing over her like a tide, gun now on the floor.

Needless to say, Shade was in shock, dropping Hyde as he immediately ran to Ribbon's side to check on her; Hyde and Daisuke, turning to Shiro confused, had the very same question on their faces, reading "What the hell was that?" Shiro, however, shook his head before spawning, into his hands, what appeared to be two swords of light: gazing down the corridor, he muttered the words "They've brought out a revenant, great." before ramming the swords into the earth, as he soon noticed Shade's return, the dark magician's glove disappeared as a tentacle-like aura of darkness made it's way to Shiro: a scoff, Shiro literally grasped hold of the aura as his eyes sparked white, the darkness vanishing as Shade cried out in shock from what the mysterious boy had done, soon revealing that the clown's entire right arm, from his clothing, disappeared. "My arm!" he roared out in shock, the source of quite a lot of his power being, essentially, devoured into nothingness; Ribbon soon returned, wounded arm limp, as she threw out a pair of ribbons which soon took the form of snakes, the serpents hissing at the white haired boy; Shiro, ignoring the serpents entirely, drew one of the light swords he'd kept earlier and threw it into Ribbon's chest, the girl instantly shattering into dust, as did her familiars. Shade, horrified at the site, realized his fate, as Shiro then launched the second sword inside his body, the man shattering into dust shortly after the piercing blade ran into his skin.

And like that, it was done. Or so it seemed.

Shiro, turning to the two brothers, said "Go home, through the back entrance, and forget everything you've seen here tonight." before walking down the corridors, coincidentally where Amai herself stood; so much so, Shiro even gazed at her with his blue eyes, yet refusing to acknowledge her, the look on his face telling he sensed something much more worse coming about shortly. Hyde, and Daisuke, taking his warning, made their exit through the rear entrance, Hyde speechless as Daisuke said "What the heck was that! Is that guy some sort of wizard? How did he do that? And why's he telling us to get out of here? Also, why're we running?" to which Hyde yelled back "Because we were just at gunpoint, that's why!" yet he concealed something: he felt, in his chest, an enormous sensation of pressure, making him nervous as he thought 'What is this feeling? It's like I'm being crushed by something.'

Shiro, himself, shared the same sentiment as he held his chest. 'Hmm...my aura's acting quite potently, this demon'll be difficult to apprehend, especially in such a public area...' he thought to himself before thrusting a hand inside his pocket, pulling out what appeared to be a crucifix. "A seal will do the job, for now." he muttered as he ran, eventually out of the tent, and leaped over the edge of the pier into the sea; eventually swimming back to shore, he saw a magical seal appear right beneath the Ferris wheel, something he dreaded; the seal would be prominently seen, as it shined through the air, and was evident all over the attraction, various spots of red glowing brightly. Quickly as he could, Shiro lobbed the crucifix upon the seal, which eventually cause the seal to instantaneously vanish, turning the crucifix red; Shiro, standing above it, shrugged as he said "That should hold him for a while, I just hope the revenant doesn't break it's hold when I'm not watching over it."
The first day had ended, Hyde's first in life experience with magic evident. He can not merely forget as Shiro instructed, and thus the next day would bring answers, as well as a greater threat: one doesn't simply destroy two demons without any consequences...
The next day, for Hyde at least, was quite troublesome: in his seat, head in hands, he couldn't not keep remembering it, over and over; clenching his hands gently over his throat, he could still feel Shade's grasp, and he could still remember the fear he felt, the fear for his brother's life as well as his own: it's not every day you're put on the spotlight, a gun ready to end it all in a single shot; and even though grateful, he still couldn't shake that strange feeling he felt when he watched Shiro...doing...something odd, something extraordinary, something inhumane, as he easily ended the two clowns' lives at the edge of two swords; he could still see their faces turn to dust...it was a worrying, eerie thought. Regardless, he did his best to press on with the day: with the lunch bell sounding, he decided to stick to where he sat, have a little time to relax.

As Yoshiko thought about the conversation Katz was still thinking about what they were going to do. "Maybe we should still get some cotton candy. Everybody loves cotton candy. Our stomachs should be settled by the time we actually get on a ride. There should be a stand nearby. This is a carnival after a-" His train of thought was broken when he heard a small voice. It was silent but he was able to work out what Yoshiko had asked. He looked at her and smiled. "Excellent question. Too bad I just don't know the answer to it." He laughed at what was essentially his own stupidity. Too bad it wouldn't last long.

Only a blind person wouldn't be able to see the magic circle that appeared and Katz certainly wasn't even close to being blind. "What's going on here?" He quickly looked at Yoshiko and then back at the light that soon disappeared. "Ha ha, that was a cool thing they got going on here, right? They must have placed lights all over the place. Dang, I completely lost track of time. It's getting late and we still have school tomorrow. I'd walk you home but I have to meet up with my parents at the rendevouz point. Thanks for hanging out with me even if it was only for a short period of time. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Watch out for strangers on your way home." That may be what he had said before he smiled at her ran off but what he thought was, "I didn't see anything that could have caused these lights. Even some of the workers seemed surprised so I doubt they even knew about it. That was too odd. Il'l have to investigate..."

-The Next Day-

It was amazing that Katz had managed to stay awake until the bell rang. He had been investigating the carnival until he had snuck into a section of the tent and found a gun and a lot of dust on the ground. While he was trying to figure out what had happened there his dad, who had also been investigating, caught him and made him go home so he could get at least a little sleep for school the next day. "Last night made no sense whatsoever. That odd light and that dust and gun on the ground." He glanced to his side to see Yoshiko. "I wonder if she's mad at me about ditching her like that. There was so little justice with that." He then looked behind him for a second to see Amai. "I wonder what happened to her after she left." He let out a sigh before setting his head on his desk. "I'm tired...and hungry...I don't know which need to satisfy."

Katz suddenly lifted his head up and widened his eyes. He then slammed his fist into the air before yelling, "This is nothing for me!"

The teacher had facepalmed at this sudden outburst. "Be quiet, Katsutoshi."

A bang. A thud. A thumph. The slicing of the air. These were the sounds Amai heard before she woke in the dead of night, reliving the after-show fight. Even after escaping the dream, her mind continued to replay the night. She remembered the deep unsettling feeling she got after Shiro looked at her but didn't acknowledged her. It wasn't from Shiro she got the feeling from, but from what Shiro was looking through her, if it was anything tangible. Hearing the swift footsteps of Hyde and Daisuke, her mind took a moment to register that she should run as well. Slowly stepping away, she turned and made for a dash out of the circus and back home. She didn't even stop when her brother pulled up besides her on the road and asked what happened. He had to drive up ahead of her, get off, and physically stop her.

Jumping up at the sound of her door opening, she quickly looked over to see her brother, standing there. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to meet up with you.. I should have been there so I could have seen what ha-" "It's fine.. To be honest.. I should know this things so I can protect yo-" "I said it's fine!" She then begin to whisper, under her breath, "Besides.. You're hardly ever here anyways.. all the times I've been alone.." "W-What?" "Nothing.." Karai he sighed as he walked over to Amai, hugging her, "I'm sorry.. I didn't realize me being gone all day upset you so much.." "I don't mind if you're gone all day.. It's when you're gone for days at a time without contacting me, letting me know you're alright that upsets me!" Amai finally confessed. I guess all she needed to hear was someone else saying it was alright to tell her brother how she felt.

Sitting besides her, Karai let out a sigh before chuckling a little, "I guess that was mean of me.. Leaving you in the dark all these months.. And now, I'm getting a taste of my own medicine.. Listen, I'm.. I'm going to stop going out as much-" "Don't change anything beca-" "No.. I'm changing because today, I found out one my friends has a failing liver and is about to lose a kidney.. It's... sad how misfortunes are just about the only thing that can open our eyes to the real path we're taking in life.." Leaning over, Karai kissed his little sister's forehead, "Get some sleep, school will be starting a few hours and you look like you like you could use some more sleep." "I'm not going to school.. I need to find someone to get some answers, but he's normally not at school." "Who's this person?" "I need to find Shiro.. Shiro Gringham." "W-What?! You need to find the Gringham's kid? Giiiiiirl, what did you see? Don't tell me you were a witness to a murder or something?!" There went Karai, going overboard. Well, he wasn't too far from it in a sense. Shiro did do something to those circus performers, but Amai just wasn't sure of what. Shaking her head, she said, "No." "Well.. Alright. Get some sleep and we'll search for some answers, k?" Nodding, she laid back down in bed. Giving her little sister's forehead another kiss, he got up and went to bed himself.

---------- (●'∀' ●) The Next day (● '∀'●) ----------

Despite searching all day and using Karai's contacts (mostly women who're in headoverheels in love with him [and not the stalker love Daisuke's fanbase is]), their search came up with nothing. "Well.. There's only one place left I can think of.." Amai pipped up as she nibbled on her vanilla icepop, her hair blowing in the wind as he and her brother drove around the city in his motorcycle. "Eh? Where?" "Well.. He's probably at the school.." "Well.. It's worth a try. Though.. Are you sure you want to go to school? It's what.. Lunch time?" "Hmmm.. If we there fast enough, it'll be just before the class before lunch hour." "Well alrighty then! Time to speed things up~" Karai chimed before twisting the throttle. As the motorcycle sped up, a single popsicle stick flew through the air before landing on the ground.

----------

After Karai used his people skills on the principle and making up an excuse for her half-a-day absence that was half a lie, Karai thanked her brother and headed off to class, which was about half-way through. Walking in, she slipped the excuse note to her seat, noticing that Katz took a glance at her before placing his head on the desk for a moment before flinging back up, slamming his fists on the desk, 'This is nothing for me? What is he talking about? Certainly not me, I would hope..' Pushing that thought to the side, she began to catch up on her notes rather quickly.

Now that lunchtime was up, Amai stayed where she was, which was close to being in the middle in class, keeping her eye out for Shiro. If he wasn't here today, she didn't know what to do...

Hyde, a little taken at Katz's little outburst earlier on in class, could feel his heartbeat prominently. First hand he saw what had happened, it had scarred him mentally forever, and this escalated state of stress would do him no good: taking a deep breath. He found that, though many students began to make their leave, some didn't. Amai, for example, had stuck to her seat, almost eyeing the door like a hungry guard dog ready for the kill. Hyde, a little curious, decided to move over to her, not before of course taking out a subtle sandwich, before sitting on the table next to her, legs dangling off the side, as he smiled and asked her...

"Who're you waiting for then? You seem adamant, I assumed you're looking for someone to show." Hyde said with his cheery smile, disguising the inner stern status of anxiety, and camouflaging this rather well, he took a little nibble, no more than a squirrel bite, from his sandwich, which needless to say was dressed in his cafe's napkin; swallowing it, he continued to talk with the girl as he said "I noticed you gave in a note earlier, and you came in quite late too: sorry if I'm prying in too much!" he soon quickly responded with a chuckle, sweat drop on his forehead. Taking a deep breath, he decided to admit his reasons for staying behind, assuming Amai had asked about them of course:

"I'm staying behind a little to see if I can spot Shiro. You know, the guy with the weird surname...how did it go...Ginghog...Grongjam...well, it sounds foreign alright." he admitted, chuckling at this inability to recall his surname, despite looking for him even, sounded quite idiotic to him, but meh. "Long white hair, deep blue eyes..." 'and the ability to create swords and turn people to dust.' he inwardly thought, the note turning his smile into a frown, he couldn't keep the sharade up forever: he was quite concerned. Right now, he remembered so fondly what Shiro told him earlier on, muttering the thought aloud "Everyone's sake..."

Yoshiko was feeling quite stupid after asking her question, but was glad Katz didn't find it too weird. Then a bright light shone from over where the Farris wheel was. It looked like some type of giant seal, but Yoshiko just thought it was part of the carnival. They really did go all out with their special effects. She then turned to Katz, nodding slowly as he mentioned it was getting late, and apologized as he ran off to meet up with his family who he came there with. Yoshiko figured it was about time for her to be getting home. When she got home, her parents were already asleep, and she decided to follow their example figuring that she would have to deal with her father tomorrow on the way to school.

~Next Day~

Surprisingly her father wasn't mad that she hadn't got home until after they went to bed, but it might have been Yoshiko telling him that she went to the park to read her books and just lost track of time. He seemed to buy the excuse, though Yoshiko was hoping that her telling this lie wouldn't be the beginning of her lying a lot. She disliked not being truthful, but if her father knew what she really did, she wouldn't be let out of the house unless accompanied.

Class went on like normal, and Yoshiko took her seat at the front and away from the windows. She noticed Katz and Hyde was there and was debating on whether she should greet them. They did talk and sort of hung out, even if it was for a short time with both persons. Did that give her the right to say hi? Would it be rude to not say hi to them? Yoshiko also took notice that Amai wasn't there as well since the aroma of tea wasn't in the air. 'Where could she be I wonder...She left pretty quickly yesterday. Is she alright?...' Yoshiko quickly shook her head. Thoughts of others were already starting to distract her from paying attention to the teacher. Some time later Amai finally joined the class, which was then followed by an outburst from Katz.

Lunch came quicker than usual, and Yoshiko didn't move from her seat. Behind her, she heard Hyde and Amai talking, something about looking for Shino. Katz hadn't moved either. 'I should...Try and talk to them. Just a simple greeting. All I have to say is 'Hi, how are you?', and that's it! It's not so hard. So just walk over to them and say hi.' Yoshiko still didn't move from her seat, or stopped staring unmovingly from the desk in front of her. 'Ok...that didn't work out as I planned. Why won't I move? It's just a few steps...Gah!! Why is this so hard? All I have to do is say hi.' Yohshiko glanced quickly at Katz, Hyde and Amai before looking back down. Ok, she was a bit nervous at talking to them. Last time she tried to start a conversation she talked about colors, and that didn't go very well. 'Maybe I should just stay here...' With a dejected sigh, Yoshiko got out her lunch for the day.

Amai was so intent on waiting to see if Shiro would come into class today that she didn't notice Hyde walking to her until he took a seat at the table besides her. Looking away from the door, she looked to Hyde as he asked who she was waiting for before taking a bite from his sandwhich. She had forgotten it was lunch hour so Shiro probably won't be showing up, if at all, until it was over. This caused her to let out a sigh. Knowing how Hyde can be at times, she quickly explained her sigh, "I didn't sigh because of you.. I just remembered something that made me sigh. And yes, I'm waiting for someone to come so I can ask them something.. As for the note and me coming in late, I wasn't feeling well. I'm still a little weary, but enough to come in and finish up school and gather what I missed. So what you? Staying behind in class to get some alone time during lunch?" 'Or are you waiting for Shiro, like me? After all.. you were involved yesterday..'

After hearing Hyde's explination, she debated on whether or not she was looking for him too, because of yesterday. It might make him feel better that he and his brother weren't the only ones to experience that. "So.. You're looking for Shiro Gringham, eh? Well, he dosn't come here often, as everyone knows. But who knows? You might get lucky." 'As will me.. So far, he's no where to be found and I've been just about every where, save for his house, but I'd prefer not to go there. I'd rather be in a spot where there's people around so something doesn't happen. After all, there's strength in numbers. Usually.' Having said that, she decided to tell Hyde she knew of what happened, but not verbally.

Flipping her notebook to a clean page, she began to write something down in a way that only Hyde could read it from where he was:
Tbh, I'm looking for Shiro too. Now don't freak out or anything when you read this: I saw what happened to you and your brother yesterday and I want answers, just like you. I've already been searching for him around town, but to no avail. So that means he's either at home or here. I'd like to avoid going to his house, considering how it'll be on his turf. I'd rather find him in neutral grounds, like school. Hopefully, he'll pop up by day's end and we can get some answers. But for now, lets just let the day go on as normal, we don't want anyone getting suspicious of us and asking questions, making us answer with lies.
With that, Amai quickly closed the notebook and put it away so no one else could have read that.

Yoshiko having turned herself to the group intrigued Hyde, it was very rarely she'd, well, ever break her concentration for something one may assume she'd consider rather trivial, perhaps the subject matter, Shiro, was bringing her attention. Funnily enough, Hyde never considered Yoshiko amongst the girls swooning over the white haired, and so he didn't: he assumed she, too, was waiting for the boy for other reasons: perhaps she was looking for a tutor? They both were the most academically wise students: she dedicated her entirety of her time to studying, whereas Shiro didn't even pick up a book, maybe she was seeking out his method? Alternatively, she could simply just be having her lunch in the classroom, that wasn't alien at all, rather believable about the girl, she hates the heat. Hyde felt a little nerved around her, she seemed so rigid and fortified, maybe even a buzz kill, but he wasn't not going to give her a chance.

Hyde smiled and patted her on the shoulder twice, asking "Yoshiko, what're you waiting behind for? Are you simply staying in the classroom for lunch, or are you waiting, like me and Amai, for Shiro Gringham?" with his friendly smile, hoping extending his hand she'd take it, even if it was an inch of a finger at a time: he had a strong feeling there was something beneath that icy shell. Assuming Yoshiko decided to turn her attention to Amai and Hyde, he returned his attention to Amai as she explained that she was looking for Shiro, for reasons he'd wished she hadn't have known.

'She'd witnessed it, she knew what had happened; does that mean she knew about the swords?'

Gazing to the message, he sighed, unsure how to react, the fact that she'd seen him being choked made him embarrassed, because what guy wants a girl to see him being choked? Furthermore, the sheer fact she witnessed what had happened meant she knew what these sick clowns were easily capable of, and it worried him if, as Shiro had said, everyone's sake would be put into jeopardy after he'd visited them. He had warned him, did that mean he could tell the future? What was Shiro? All these irrational thoughts ran through his head in an instant, completely confused and worried, believing that by him visiting the Cirque he had set the ball in motion. But, Fleur...that name rang in his ears; it's a girl's name, yet they addressed him as if it held significance.

As if time was slowed, Hyde turned to the door, as he spotted those blue eyes, gazing into the room, as he spotted Shiro, the boy walking passed the classroom as if he'd done it a million times, regardless of the evident occurrence; the blue eyes then parted from Hyde's as they disappeared behind the door's frame, and Hyde wouldn't waste a second; spurting up from his seat, he made his dash out the door, spilling the teacher's coffee upon herself as she winced, yelling Hyde to get back and apologize; he did no such thing, his eyes were now locked on Shiro as he ran, getting closer each step; Shiro turned up the stairs, which barely a second soon followed Hyde, however Shiro, by then, was on the second set, still walking, Hyde chasing after him.

They went higher and higher and higher, 'til they reached the rooftop; usually a locked environment, Shiro must have opened the door, Hyde concluded; gazing over to the boy, panting as he caught his breath, whilst Shiro, silently, gazed over to the horizon, sun directly above their heads, asked the boy "Last night ... what ... how ... wh- who are you?" to which Shiro shrugged and said "Shiro Gringham." Hyde, getting angered by his passive response, barked "Then what are you?!" to which he was replied "A human being." Shiro's eyes glancing back to Hyde passively, Hyde's fuse only shortening as he barked again "You know what I mean! What happened last night!? You killed two people who had me at-"

"They were going to kill you both: here you stand, barking at the person who saved your lives; how ungrateful." Shiro simply cuts Hyde down, his gaze fixed on the horizon again. "Hyde, have you ever heard of the term "Ockham's Razor"?"

Yoshiko was preparing for her solitary lunch - safely away from the evil heat that plagued the world outside these walls - when she felt two pats upon her shoulder. She was surprised by the touch, and in response she quickly turned her head in Hyde's direction though her face remained the same...Well...Not much of a response, but it was about as much of a surprised reaction one might expect from Yoshiko. The thing that surprised her the most was the sensation of being touched by someone it was...Different. "Yoshiko, what're you waiting behind for? Are you simply staying in the classroom for lunch, or are you waiting, like me and Amai, for Shiro Gringham?"

"I am....Simply wishing to eat lunch...As for Shiro, I have no need to speak to him." She was unsure of her words, hoping that they didn't seem to disinterested. Yoshiko rarely spoke in the classroom, unless she was asking or answering a teacher's question and when it came to people in general she was socially inept. Yoshiko looked from his friendly smile, to his hand that was held out in front of her for - what she assumed - her to take. Even though all Yoshiko had to do was reach out only centimeters away to accept his outstretched hand, it felt like miles to her. 'These people actually...Want to hang out with me? Both Hyde and Katz were very friendly, and though I had not spoken to Amai much she did not seem repulsed by my presence....' Her hand twitched as she raised it to lightly ghost over Hyde's hand before she sharply snatched her hand back, and turning her head away with a rosy blush.

'I was told others were matters of insignificant importance...but...How can that be when I feel so warm when with those people? I suppose...Suppose the feeling is being...happy? I feel the same way when I dance...' She then looked up to see Hyde dashing off, and she just managed to catch a fading glimpse of the one he ran after. "....Shiro." She whispered, the looked to the others to see if they would follow. Would it be alright?

Amai wanted to smack her forehead on her desk so hard the moment Hyde said she and him were waiting for Shiro to show up. She never said aloud who she was waiting for so if anyone was paying attention to their conversation, they'd notice that. Letting out a small sigh, she was getting ready to pull out her book when Hyde suddenly took off, causing the teacher to spill her coffee. Standing up, she apologized to the teacher before taking off after Hyde in a not-as-fast manner. Simply following people's quizzical looks gave her enough of an idea of where he went. With how fast he took off, she could only assume he was after Shiro. At least, that's what she was hoping for.

Panting by time she reached the top of the stairs, she thought to herself, 'I need to work on that.. Though, who honestly runs up these many stairs!' After catching her breath, she walked up onto the roof, where she heard, "Hyde, have you ever heard of the term "Ockham's Razor"?" "Ah.. Occam's Razor.. I haven't heard that term in a while.. Let's see if I remember right.. It's a principle when picking one out of many hypotheses, you pick the one with fewer assumptions and an easier explination. Then, later on, you exchange the simplicity for a more complicated explination when you have one. Am I correct, Shiro?" Amai explained the term as she remembered he as she walked up to Hyde's side, waiting for Shiro's response.

Hyde's head flicked back as Amai made her entrance, her explaining the term as she walked to his side, to which Hyde then turned back to Shiro, awaiting his response to the girl: "Correct, Amai." Shiro returned, before turning and, as it looked like, began to fall off the side of the school; Hyde, eyes widened in horror, began to make a jump for the boy, hand extended in fear he'd be committing suicide, however this became short lived, as it appeared that Shiro had not fallen: rather, he was resting his back upon an invisible, non-existent wall, which only furthered Hyde's confusion about the whole thing. Clearing his throat, he returned his hand to his side, stuck like a statue, unsure whether any form of motion would be ideal, or if it'd result in further anxiety.

"In terms you'd understand, Hyde, Occam's Razor states that, unless we have a better option, we should opt for the easier, more simple explanation for something." Shiro stated, Hyde snaring slightly at being belittled. "Many have used this principle, for example philosopher's such as St Thomas Aquinas, as he associated the Judo-Christian God as the initial cause for his Five Ways, all of which you can find in his original piece "Summa Theologica"." he went on, to give the term more contextual significance. Shiro, then flicking a loose her over his eyes, then said to Hyde "Piece things together Hyde, and you'll find your answer: what did you see, where did you see it."

Hyde, taking a deep breath, began to say "Yeah, b-" "Do what I say Hyde, make it easier one everyone." Shiro quickly cut him off, his calm yet stern attitude causing Hyde to roll his eyes saying "What I saw: you deflected a bullet, and created a sword, out of light, and you killed two people. You also said the word "revenant" but I'm not sure why...where I saw it: in the Cirque de'Scuridad...the magical main event of Lazuli City..." and as the last two words were muttered, he widened his eyes before looking across to Shiro, baffled. "You're saying this is magic?" to which Shiro, seemingly unresponsive, just gazing upon the two, ever so slightly nodded his head.

"It's much more simple than special effects: it's magic, Hyde." Shiro explained, to which Hyde returned, stuttering due to shock "D-does...does that mean...-" "Yes: I'm a magician, Hyde." Hyde, sighing a little, said "You could have done an awesome Harry Potter quote there, you know~" which caused Shiro to cock a brow, asking "Why would I do that?" causing Hyde to collapse, feet in the air from the situation that had came about. "Man...this isn't going to be fun!"

Shiro soon asked Amai "You were there too." although not in the form of a question, he did see her after all, simply for confirmation one could say. "Then, I assume you heard the clowns call Hyde Fleur, didn't you?" Shiro then asked, Hyde's interest peaking as he spurted "Yeah! That's a freaking girl's name!" rather loudly on the roof top, a sudden frying pan appearing above his head and crashing on him, Shiro saying "Be quiet, idiot." as he rolled his eyes, Hyde on the floor twitching as he muttered "Owie..." from the pebbly rooftop, the stone making a dotted print into his chin as a comically sized bump appeared on his head.

Amai jumped in shock when Shiro not only started to lean over the edge of the school, but he suddenly stopped as well, as if he was leaning against a hidden wall. Slowly stepping over to him, she stuck her hand past Shiro's side, aiming to see if she could feel an invisiblewall or something. To her amazement, there was not thing! Looking down to road, she spotted her brother looking up at her in confusion, pointing to Shiro. Shrugging, she shook her head before turning back to Shiro and Hyde just as Hyde was retracing what happened yesterday and came a conclusion.

"M-Magic? I'd say that's impossible.. But I'm looking at it right now.." Amai said as she double-checked to make sure Shiro wasn't leaning against anything invisible. Walking back over to Hyde, getting a little nervous with being so close to the edge for so long, she got back to his side as he did a little exagerated fall that reminded her of something she would often see in anime.

Then, Shiro began to talk to her. "Yes.. I spotted Hyde and his brother go into the back of the tent. I followed them in order to grab them and get them out of there before they got kicked out of the circus but... yeah.." Amai trailed off, they both knowing what actually happened. Then Shiro asked her if she heard Hyde being called Fleur. "Fleur? Hmm.." she paused for a moment to recall what she heard, "If I recall right.. I found Hyde and his brother just as his brother said something about that.." She looked to Hyde just as he complained about being called Fleur and a frying pan hitting him in the head. "There's more to it than it just being French for lilly/iris, isn't there? After all.. The fleur-de-lis was very popular for coat of arms, despite it being 'girly'.." she mostly said that last bit because of how Hyde kept complaining about the word.

"-other go into the back of the tent. I followed them in order to grab them and get them out of there before they got kicked out of the circus but... yeah.." Is where Yoshiko came in on the conversation. After Amai had left, almost immediately after Hyde, she couldn't deny the curiosity that swirled within her. Even so, she couldn't being herself to make herself know, which made her feel bad because now she was eavesdropping. Yoshiko never thought she would be reduced to spying in on a conversation, but she was too nervous to just walk out there now. So he stood against the wall next to the door which led to the outside.

"Then, I assume you heard the clowns call Hyde Fleur, didn't you?" She closed her eyes, almost in exasperation, hearing what Hyde yelled. It was her equivilance to a facepalm. Amai then explained to Hyde that it had a more meaningful definition than just being french for lily. But why would some circus people refer to Hyde as such? It was strange. 'I really shouldn't stay here...It's wrong to listen in...'

Katz couldn't help but notice in the classroom that Hyde and Amai were getting pretty close and talking. "Yeah, she definitely must have confessed. Seems things worked out best for her. Ah, young love. Although can I really support this relationship? Amai's parents are deceased and has a terrible relationship with her brother. She's probably pretty lonely and looking for just about anybody to fill the void. And Hyde...well he's Hyde. It's practically a self-destructing relationship! Who am I to get in the way of how people take care of their problems. And my mom may have done someth-no, dad's incredibly awesome. That's legit, mind."

Katz's thought process was completely interrupted when Hyde had walked up to Yoshiko and started talking to her. "Don't do it, man. Amai is a perfectly nice girl and has looks to boot. Don't already start the self destruction process by talking to another admittingly attractive girl! Amai doesn't need that with her current family situation." His own thoughts were doing the job of blocking out the very odd conversation that if Katz had actually heard would be even more confused about. He came back to earth when Hyde randomly charged out. "Kharma must have gotten back at him by giving him explosive diarreah OF JUSTICE!!!!!!!! "

Things were getting odd though. Really really odd and even Katz had no idea what was happening. First it was just Hyde, then Amai, and finally...Yoshiko...? "Hm, why are they all leaving...? Wait...I paid zero attention to what Hyde had told Yoshiko. Eavesdropping would have been very rude after all. Could it be possible that they're going out one at a time so that they can then meet up...? Isn't the bathroom that way? What would those three do in the bathroom alone toge--oh god..." Katz charged out of the classroom and ran towards where they appeared to be going screaming, "NOT IN MY SCHOOL YOU WON'T!" The teacher had simply turned the page of his magazine paying no mind to anything that had just happened.

By the time he had reached the door to the roof he was breathing heavily after having soprinted up all those flights of stairs. "On the roof is where they decided to partake in this vile act? And they didn't even put a sock on this door here! Also mentionable that the door is slightoly ajar so people like Yoshiko here could just watch. The nerve of some peop-" He stopped talking for a few seconds. "Yoshiko...?" He slowly turned his head to the girl who had been looking at what he has assumed to be an incredibly perverted and indecent act. Not to mention they weren't even married. "How could you, Yoshiko? I never expected you to be one that'd peek at such an improper sight." He grabbed onto her arm and began to pull her away from the door. "I apologize but I must turn you in to the main office. Please don't try to resist arrest as that will only increase the amount detentions you get. After dropping you off I will return and hope that they have finished and are looking decent so that my own mind will not become impure with the sight of those two making love as they say on the school's roof. Everything you say and do will be used against you in a school court of law run by the student council."

Hyde's cheeks were rather puffy from the shouting, but Amai didn't really help the situation, so as if his head was the size of a boulder he roared "CUT IT OUT!" evidently annoyed by the constant mentioning of the fact that, well, it's not like Katz'd like to be called Katrina, now would he? Well, ask Desu~kun but anyways, after Hyde's short outburst, he soon eyed Shiro again as the white haired boy spoke up, smiling slightly as his once divine blue eyes fluttered shut, even a slight chuckle could be heard if one was quiet enough. Shaking his head, evidently in response to what he was seeing before him, he cleared his throat before speaking again, this time in a much more refined British accent, very profound, yet with that little hint of grace: it was evidently his usual manner of speaking, and before all this had began his accent was merely an act.

"Amai is, perhaps, one of the most logical people to whom I've encountered, whereby the contrast between her and you, Hyde, is phenomenally grotesque." he said, which caused Hyde to cock a brow, simply from the confusion of...why was Shiro using a British accent? Shiro went on as he cleared his throat to elaborate further upon what Amai stated by saying "The Fleur-de-Lis is a very well known symbol, being used on Coats of Arms for many countries: it comes from France, which coincidentally involves a lot more detail which you will need to know at some point. However, it's other origins go much deeper than that you could imagine."

Suddenly, he opened his eyes in response to hearing Katz' voice increasing each step as he went to rant about something irrelevant, causing Shiro to roll his eyes, but Hyde to look back as he cocked a brow. "Katz? What's he-" [background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"How could you, Yoshiko? I never expected you to be one that'd peek at such an improper sight." [/background] Hearing this, Hyde's face was filled with confusion, absolutely dazzled in response to what Katz was going on about: what was improper about three people talking? Well, maybe a peeper, but still...well, regardless of the situation at hand, he turned back to Shiro who, gazing to the door, declared aloud "I'd suggest that the pair of you Peeping Toms come clean, because we all know you're there: don't turn and make cowards of yourselves and show your faces." with his usual manner of just, well, being intentionally blunt about something.

How could he not be? Right there and then, he had the King, the Queen, the Knight and the Bishop to his set, and he couldn't allow anything to let them get away: a twinkle in his eye, he had to create a Penrose Staircase, and thus the stairs seemed to spiral for an infinity: Katz wouldn't run down an infinite set of stairs, he'd be intelligent enough to walk back up to the roof red-handed.

"How could you, Yoshiko? I never expected you to be one that'd peek at such an improper sight." Yoshiko blushed at being caught eavesdropping, though as to why he was reacting in such a manor was confusing to her. Her blush brightened when he grabbed her, her mind racing. "W-wha...K-katz, pl-please..." He began to pull her away from the door.

What!? Why is he taking her to the main office?! And why wouldn't Amai and Hyde not be decent? Her answer came with his next sentence, and she thought her head would explode from all the heat she was generating. Was he serious? Did he really think they were doing that on the school roof? And...and that she was watching!? Yoshiko closed her eyes wishing for someone to save her, anyone. This situation was just way too embarrassing. Her savior came when Shiro called them both out,, telling them to show themselves and to not be cowards.

Yoshiko froze. Ok, maybe she didn't want just anyone to help her out. This was even more embarrassing. Gently she pried her arm away from Katz and turned back toward the door. They were already caught. There was no use trying to hide now. Shyly she moved in sight her eyes widening slightly seeing Shiro leaning on-well-nothing! Yoshiko - not being a fan of heights or heat - chose to stay close to the door. As long as she couldn't see how high up she was, she was completely fine, though seeing Shiro leaning on the air had her heart jumping in fear just from the thought of falling from such a height. She pushed up her glasses, looking everywhere but the others.. 'The one time I let my curiosity about others out I get into this mess. Well, at least it's with people I sort of know...'

Katz stopped the moment he heard Shiro's voice. Just hearing his first word left his eyes wide and mouth gaping open. "S-Shiro? Then that means...oh god! It's A devil's threeway! And maybe Shiro is why Yoshiko is here. Of course! Shiro and Yoshiko are both very anti social yet still incredibly intelligent. It's a possiblility that Yoshiko has noticed the similarities and in turn became infatuated with him. There's also the possibility that she's really here for Amai. I certainly wouldn't throw away the possibility that the reason she's so anti social is because she's uncomfortable with her sexuality. Maybe it's both! I can't really say I'm surprised that Hyde would be involved with this though."

And that was Katz just reacting to the first letter that had came out of Shiro's mouth. If you couldn't tell Katz thinks incredibly quickly and by the time he already came to that very well thought out conclusion Shiro had finished that first word. To be fair it's not really all that bad of a conclusion for a guy who's yet to discover the existance of magic and doesn't expect his classmates to have seen a murder of a hot chick and her partner whom are made out of dust. Now it wasn't easy to get Katz mad or embarrassed but somehow Shiro had managed to do both. "Did he just ask Yoshiko and I to join in in?" His face was deep red and Yoshiko actually walking in didn't help. "Y-Yoshiko is actually going for it! I must have been right!"

I did also mention he got mad, right? "Wait...peeping tom...coward...me? I Would Never Do An Immoral Action Such As Peek On You People's Screwed Up Version Of A Ritual Meant For Two Souls Who Believed They Were Meant For Eachother!!! And I'm certainly no coward as to allow you disgusting disgraces for human beings get away with doing it in a public facility. I'll be taking you all to the pricipals office!" With one hand he pulled out his airsoft pistol from inside his school uniform's jacket. With his other hand he covered his eyes which were now closed. Katz then proceeded to charge in and shoot bbs at various random locations. And by various random locations I mean Hyde.

After a little bit Katz moved his fingers a bit to allow a little a little space to see out of. To his surprise and relief he saw that they were all fully dressed and not even that close to eachother. He soon put the pistol back into his jacket and opened his eyes while looking at everybody. "Uhhh...so how are you guys doing and HOLY CRAP SHIRO IS FALLING OFF THE SIDE OF THE SCHOOL!"

After Hyde roared out for them to cut it out, Amai lifted up her right hand as her pinkie and began to rub the inside of her right ear with it, "I'm standing RIGHT besides you, Hyde.. No need to yell." Lowering her hand, she began to blush a little as Shiro complimented on her logic with a British accent. That blush was shortly lived as he made a comment about Hyde, "Hey now! That's just rude, Shiro. I appreciate the compliment, but there's no reason to put Hyde down. He's just handling everything differently than how I am.. Now let's all just calm down and-Huh?" Amai stopped when she, too, started to hear Katz voice. 'So.. It looks like curiosity got two cats this time..'

Crossing her arms and relaxing, she waited for Yoshiko and Katz to join the trio on the roof. Yoshiko was quick to join. After all, she probably figured there was no reason to drag things on now that she was discovered. As for Katz? Well, he was the one to drag things on. And make them dangerous for that matter. Bursting with his eyes covered, he began to point his air-soft gun towards her and Hyde. Quickly grabbing Hyde, she ducked herself and Hyde down just as Katz began to shot. Just about all of the BBs missed, except for one; one that hit her right in the head.

"OW! KATZ! How DARE you!" she yelled out as she quickly stood back up. Stomping over to Katz as he noticed Shiro, she raised her right hand and attempted to give Katz a nice hard slap across the face. Whether she got him or not, she continued to yell at him, "What kind of 'safety' officer just barges in, eyes covered, AND RANDOMLY SHOOTS! Seriously! I could have lost and eye AND I ALMOST DID!!" Amai doesn't care for when people are rude, but when they're just stupid and/or reckless? That just takes her over the top.
