The sunlight beamed straight into the windows of the room, blinds lazily still being open rather than shut at night, the rather well furnished room simply standing out without a need to boast; it was obviously a lad's room, and who else's than one Hyde Kokobunji? The spiky haired youth slept fast asleep, snoring away happily as a bubble upon his nose simply outlined the perfectly content state of doziness upon the boy's gentle, slightly beach-tanned face, not a single line of worry or stress marking him, nor an ounce of damage or sin that bore upon his soft skin. Instead, all that was there was absolute tranquility.

All of a sudden, he felt a nudge, not once, not twice, but thrice as he heard a gentle voice beckon "Hey~ Lil' bro~ Wakey-wakey!~ Another day, another dollar!" The voice, sounding quite gentle and soft, yet deep and mature, came from the white t-shirt and boxer-ed brother, hair in a ponytail as usual, waking up his sleepy little brother who, evidently, didn't seem up for waking up for Thursday's Day of school. Pouting as he realized Hyde was as likely to move, he resulted to his best method to get up the lazy little brother. Popping out the door, he made his way downstairs as, before turning on a tap. As soon as the first drop touched the bottom of the basin, Hyde had woken up as he yelled aloud "Okay! Okay, I'm up!" "Good morning Lil Brother, how'd you sleep?"

Hyde managed to drag himself down the stairs after the typical morning routine, himself in his uniform as usual, Daisuke himself in jeans and a white t-shirt, first few buttons undone as he said "My my, Hyde; you sure you'll manage in all that gear? At least tie your blazer around your waist, it's a really hot day out." with obvious concern in his voice, to which Hyde placed up his hand and a chuckle as he shook his head saying "I'm fine: besides, I have a feeling that, if anything, you'll be the one who needs to cover up." to which Daisuke simply laughed aloud without another word: boy was Hyde's statement true.

Heading out, of course checking on their little place, "Thanks a Latte", Hyde went into the cafe itself as he fixed himself a sandwich, of course Daisuke on the beach as he was swarmed by his favorite fan girls: beach fan girls, bikini-bound babes thirsty and desperate for Daisuke's autograph. Reason being? Well, they were his main market point, his lady-magnetism uncanny as he said "Alright, lil' bro, you get outta here and off to school: I'll handle the shack 'til Torneko shows up!" to his little brother, already pouring out smoothie after smoothie, soda after soda, to the quick rush of customers he'd already gotten in just a few...seconds, really.

Of course, Hyde took his brother's advice and made his dash, sneaking around the back as he began his gentle walk to Lazuli High, a smile upon his face as he looked into the clouds above: his brother was right, today was a scorcher, but despite that it was also the day of the grand opening of that new Circus down by the pier, the Cirque de'Scuridad; and needless to say, despite the terrible hub-bub about the phenomenal acts, Hyde had different plans for the event. Right now, however, he simply had to get through the day. To think, how cruel was it to have Gym class first thing? Urgh, it wasn't right, 'specially on a day where the Sun was shining brilliantly overhead, not a cloud in the sky above the City of Lazuli.

Walking through the crowded gate, Hyde was greeted by a crowd of Daisuke's high school fan girls, and a few fan boys too, who'd all began to grab and pull at the guy, before Hyde eventually pushed from them and said "Geez, if you're that much obsessed with him, why not start a fan club?" before, eyes widening, almost immediately regretting his words as the commotion had turned into an all-out brawl for the title of Presidency. Taking the advantage, he decided to make a dash for the class, try and spring to the main entrance.

In doing so, he had immediately been sidelined by a rush of students, like a herd of buffalo, everyone ranting about things like "Hiroshi's going to take out one of those new kids!" and "Poor freshman, shouldn't pee off the bully." Needless to say, this peaked Hyde's attention, and so as he fought through the crowds to get a view of what, exactly, was going on: there sat a poor little freshman, picking up his books back into a brief case, which he carried them in, only to have his hand trodden on the obvious Bully, Hiroshi, a tall hulking boy who's appetite had caused a huge swell of lard to act as a shield for him.

"Oww! Please, l-let me g-"

"Pfft, let you go? Fat chance!" the bully smirked back at the small child, to which all of a sudden a long, blue haired lad walked through the crowd, as if it were mere mist, and straight into the bully's face; the bully was flabbergasted at the sheer nature and shock of someone coming right out and staring him in the eye, however he decided to raise his hand as he said "Out of the way, pip-squeak Blue-haired good for nothing-" and then, the blue haired lad's lips moved, as if he had muttered something...but then something was wrong. Hiroshi's hand was, essentially paralyzed in the air as he tried to move it, to which he soon found his entire anatomy being fixed upon the place: Hyde, himself, was amongst the many who believed that Hiroshi simply didn't have the stones, but eventually the silence was broken...

"Th-th-thanks, Mister."

"Call me Shiro."

"Oh...'kay! Thanks Shiro!" the little boy cheered happily as he recollected his things, making his way inside as did Shiro. Hyde, himself, knew the guy, he was in his classroom, 1-A now at 2-A, but he never really got to know him well: all he knew was Shiro was quite a silent person by nature, and his name, that's it. The principal, the teachers, heck everyone seemed to always address him as nothing beyond his first name...

"Eh, whatev's; at least Hiroshi's dealt with." Hyde muttered to himself as he wandered the corridors, walking into his homeroom as usual, spotting his seat instantly: Window Seat, 6th row in the 6th column, and of course making idle convo with the typical acquaintances and taking his homely spot. Ah, yes, just another day at Lazuli High.

Rays of golden sunlight seeped ever so slyly through the half-open, half-closed plain white blinds of an apartment window. It's morning in the beautiful, vibrant gem that is Lazuli City. But it wasn't just any ordinary morning. It's the morning of a new school year for Lazuli High School, and already the bustling sounds of tapping shoes and the youthful giggling of teenagers can be heard just outside the apartment complex. Three floors above in room twenty-nine, a young man slept uncomfortably in his bed. Though in reality, it isn't much of a bed. It consisted of only a small, one-person mattress, a thin, white mattress sheet, one pillow, and a blanket. There was no frame to hold it up. The bed is placed next to one of the few windows in the small apartment. The blinds of the window, half-opened allowing the sunlight to leak in, looked cheap but is well-cleaned. The young man rolled over onto his side, his body facing opposite to the wall that the mattress pressed against.

The young man's blonde bangs covered the right side of his face, but the most prominent feature of his face is the horizontal scar extending across the bridge of his nose. The young man's eyes opened, his visible eye revealing his sea green-colored iris. Letting out a long, depressing sigh, the young man began speaking to himself. "Damn, it's a new school year..." the young man complained. This young man is named Kazuo Kanada, a second year student at Lazuli High. The seventeen year old sat up on his bed and extended his arms back as well as his shoulders to stretch his weary muscles. Last night seemed so short to Kazuo. He wanted the morning to never come so that he wouldn't have to get up and face another long year of school. But seeing the morning was inevitable, and Kazuo has no choice but to throw his complaints aside and get the day over with.

Standing up out of his bed, Kazuo made his way towards the apartment's small bathroom to take a shower. After the shower, Kazuo threw on his clothes. Kazuo never did like to wear the school uniform, but that is only one aspect among many that he didn't like about Lazuli High. With his daily morning rituals over with, Kazuo packed his food and head off to school. Walking out of the apartment building, Kazuo stopped when he almost bumped into a group of girls wearing Lazuli High School's uniforms. Kazuo has quite an intimidating height and his annoyed expression made him all the more menacing. He waited until the group of girls left before he made his way across the street. He didn't want to walk the same way as that group of girls who had just passed him due to him being the loner-type.

After crossing the street, Kazuo continued on his way to school. Usually on his morning walks, Kazuo wouldn't have much to think about, but this morning he kept his mind fixated on the fact that he has been transferred to a different class. Kazuo was in class 1-C during his first year of high school, but due to some scheduling problems, Kazuo was now a student of class 2-A. The thing that annoyed Kazuo about the change is the fact that know one knows Kazuo in his new class. Meaning some would try to make friends with him, and that is the last thing Kazuo needed. If he had been normally transferred over into class 2-C, no one there would bother him which Kazuo preferred. But in the end, it didn't matter too much to Kazuo as long as he kept to himself. After awhile, Kazuo decided to make a shortcut through an alley and as he walked to the other side, he could hear the annoying voices of some bullies he came to know during his first year. There were four of them in total.

Though they aren't as bad as a problem than they were last year, they still annoyed the hell out of Kazuo. What's worse, Kazuo has stumbled upon them harassing a first year female student. "So, hey, we know a lot of cool places to hang out after school. You should hang out with us." a young man with grilled-back brown hair and an idiotic-expression on his face told the young girl. "Yo, Matsudo, ain't that new circus down at the pier opening today?" another idiotic-looking young man with short, spiky, dyed-blonde hair asked the previous young man. "Oh yeah huh? What's the name again? Cirque de'Scurvy or some'ing like that." Matsudo stated before turning his attention back to the young miss. "So, wanna come?" Matsudo asked. "P-Please, just leave me alone..." the girl said in a scared and nervous tone. "Ehh, don't be 'fraid, we ain't bite hahaha." Matsudo replied.

"Hey, what do you f*ckers think you're doing?" Kazuo's voice emanated a few feet away from them. Turning his head, Matsudo saw his old, self-proclaimed nemesis. "Kanada..." Matsudo uttered in a serious tone before leaning off the wall next to the girl and turning his whole body to face Kazuo. "You got some balls showing you're face around us." Matsudo told Kazuo in an intimidating tone, but of course to Kazuo, his attempt to sound intimidating was a joke. "And where do all of you got the balls to show your ugly faces in a public place? Now scram." Kazuo told them. "Whachu say??? Matsudo, let's take care of this little prick." the spiky, blonde hair guy said. "Yeah, I'm getting tired of seeing this little punk." Matsudo agreed. With a simple gesture of tilting his head towards Kazuo, Matsudo commanded the other two young men to attack Kazuo. Following the order, they charged at Kazuo with the intent to knock him unconscious.

Kazuo, however, simply stood there, awaiting for the two to get closer. Once one of them finally got closed enough, he proceeded to throw a punch at Kazuo to which was easily avoided by a simple turn of the body. Kazuo returned the favor by aiming a hard punch right at the young man's left cheek. The punch easily connected and a slight cracking was heard before the punch sent the bully falling back a couple of feet away. The second young man stood there with shocked eyes as he watched his friend easily defeated. The young man turned back to Kazuo with an angry expression. "Arrgh, I'm gonna kill you!" the young man shouted before throwing a punch with his right. Kazuo quickly and effectively caught the fist with his left hand. "Huh?! Arrgh!" the young man now aimed his other fist towards Kazuo which once again was easily caught by Kazuo's right. With both fists caught, the young man had no clue as to what to do next. Without talking or showing any emotion, Kazuo simply leaned his head back and then launched a headbutt at the young man's forehead.

Connecting, the young man stumbled back a couple of feet as well before falling onto the ground unconscious. Kazuo then turned his eyes to Matsudo and the spiky, blonde hair guy who looked at their two friends in utter shock. The spiky, blonde hair guy was the first to look up at Kazuo and once he saw Kazuo's fierce stare, he opted to get the hell out of the alleyway as quickly as humanly possible. "THIS GUY'S A MONSTER!!!" the spiky-haired individual exclaimed hysterically as he ran off in the opposite direction of Kazuo. Right then and there, Matsudo looked up and turned his head to stare at his running friend then quickly to Kazuo before shouting, "H-H-Hey wait for me a**hole!" With that, Matsudo ran off as well, leaving Kazuo and the young girl standing there in the alleyway. "Humph, pathetic..." Kazuo muttered to himself before walking off in the direction of the girl. Kazuo quickly passed her and did not even lay a single eye on her let alone say something.

Regaining her composure after what she had just witnessed, the girl then followed behind Kazuo to give her gratitude. "T-Thanks for helping me out back there. You're really kind." the girl told Kazuo. "Don't mention it..." Kazuo simply replied without even looking back as he continued on his way. "No really, let me properly thank you. How about I meet you later at the Thanks a Latte cafe and treat you to something-" As soon as she finished her sentence, Kazuo began to talk, or more appropriately, shout. "I said don't mention it, now leave me the hell alone!" Kazuo turned his head back and fiercely barked at her. The girl stumbled back, scared by Kazuo's sudden outcry. Kazuo stared into her eyes for a brief moment before turning back around and continuing off. He doesn't want anyone to get close to him...

Kazuo soon made his way to his destination, Lazuli High School where a huge group of girls and some guys bunched together at the entrance of the school. "Oh what the hell?!" Kazuo complained as he saw the huge group who seems to be in some type of brawl. Now Kazuo had to deal with getting through the group of people. The morning was going absolutely fantastic for him at this point. "Damn, I don't have nearly enough fists to punch everybody out of the way..." Kazuo dryly joked before entering the large crowd. Kazuo simply shoved and forced his way out of the crowd, getting accidentally punched a couple of times in the chest and stomach. Finally on school grounds, Kazuo stumbled, almost falling to his knees. Kazuo would've retaliated for the punches he received but he was content enough to get out of the mob alive. "Goddamn... Do some of those girls take martial arts lessons...?!" Kazuo asked, rubbing his chest. Kazuo then turned back around to see a group of students dispersed and he noticed a young man looking angry or frustrated with his fists clenched. It seems like he was just publicly humiliated by someone. Though that was no concern of Kazuo. He merely wanted to get the day over with.

Kazuo quickly made his way to his new homeroom, a room that he had never been to. The same could be said for every other classroom that isn't a part of Kazuo's schedule. Walking inside, Kazuo was greeted by the stares of many students, all of them unfamiliar to him. Kazuo was the new student in the class and granted, it's merely typical for humans to stare at the unknown. Kazuo returned some of the stares but didn't bother to say anything. The last thing he needed was to cause trouble on the first day of the new year. Without hesitation, Kazuo made his way towards the back of the classroom, taking the farthest right seat in the back of the room which was also positioned next to a window, a bonus for Kazuo.

He cringed as the sensation of bitter cold bit his face. The water dripped from his chin as he stared at himself in the mirror. Rustic blue eyes peered back, a few moments of thought passed before Izanagi took the hand towel to dry himself. Mechanicly, he took his uniformed dress shirt around his arms and swiftly buttoned. He was careful, ensuring by the time he finished his tie was straight and proper dress was in order. Izanagi reached for his watch on the counter before identifying the hand, it was time to go. He attached the silver band around his wrist. A small toaster laid near the door of the cramped room with fresh toast finished to a pleasent golden-brown. A single motion placed both the toast in his mouth and his blazer over his shoulder as he opened the door. Lastly reaching for a small chain residing on a small tabletop and pausing as he stared at a rather small photo inside the open locket. He slipped it around his neck and under his clothing. The door opened and the sting of piercing sunlight struck Izanagi's eyes.

THe last bits of toast disappeared into Izanagi's mouth. His leasurely pace unreflecting of most others during Day 1 of a new school year. Alas, what was there to panic and hurry for? Izanagi didn't care for it much, all the choas, hormones, and emotions that fluster around. One student even refered to him as the calm and composed one a while back. It wasn't long before the gate came into view, spring and all it's educational glory. Even his thoughts were full of sarcasm sometimes. Izanagi fluttered he way through the crowds, which was remarkably easier then the previous year. Older students get a bit of respect from the underclassman, he supposed.

His eyes laid sight of the sigh 2-A, rather odd expression fell on Izanagi's face, something of a mix between annoyance and disbelief. A sigh broke that look and his usual cold expression came back as he entered. A few students had already taken seat on of the most notably Kokobunji, a student from last year, cocky mundane invalid. Izanagi liked him, well, in the one he could like someone like that. He was pacing himself through some idle chatter. He briefly made his way to the 6th column by the windows sitting two seats in front of Hyde. "Kokobunji, I can safely assume you've been doing well?," Izanagi said calmly with a relaxed grin.

'Why does it have to be so hot?' Yoshiko thought to herself with a sigh. She sat in the back seat of a black car, the suns rays penetrating the windows and causing small drops of sweat to accumulate on her brow. In the front of the car was her father, who sat silently and staring at the road straight a head like always. She grabbed the white handkerchief from her pocket to gently wipe her forehead, from the sweat. 'School should be canceled during these hot times. It's just cruel to have to go out in this heat. At least give us some spring uniforms instead of these long sleeved jackets.' As she ranted in her head, her facial expression remained blank and motionless, her eyes seeing the scenery pass by but not really paying attention. The car came to a stop in front of the school, and her father (Who I will now name Kuon) looked at her through the rear view mirror. "Yoshiko I will drop you off here. Remember to not waste your time with unnecessary distractions. Keep your mind on your studies. I will be watching."

Yoshiko nodded and exited the car. Kuon drove off to park the car before heading to the class he taught. Yoshiko watched the car until she couldn't anymore then headed onto the campus. She was confused at the large group of both boys and girls fighting of something to do with being president of something. Not wanting to be dragged into that she made a wide girth around the group. Not long later she saw a kid being bullied but she simply looked away and kept going, 'Do not waste my time with distractions...' She went into the classroom marked 2-A, and took the seat at the very front and furthest from the window. She did not want to deal with the sun if she could help it, and if her parents found out she wasn't at the front of the class she would get in trouble.

There weren't too many kids in the class room, and while she knew their names she didn't know them personally. Yoshiko didn't make it a point to socialize with others in her class, so outside socialization was a no go. 'It's a destraction anyway. Distractions take away from my path of progress...' She thought her facial expression remaining the same, while her eyes deepened in sadness from being alone. Though she was quick to hide the betraying expression in her eyes. Yoshiko pulled out a book, and began reading it to pass the time completely ignoring the world around her.

Amai let out a small sigh of disappointment after taking a sip of the tea her brother had so kindly made for her. It was one of the few small things he would do to apologize to her after he disappeared for a week, out partying or God knows what else. "Why couldn't be just apologize and be done with it? It'd be easier for him to do that than slaughter a once perfectly good tea blend.." Amai mumbled out in slight frustration as she looked down at her cup of tea. "What was that dear little sister~?" Karai asked as he turned from the stove. "Absolutely nothing," Amai said with a hint of bitterness. Before Karai could ask her what was wrong, she began to take another sip from her tea, her way of saying to drop it and move on. Rolling his eyes, Karai returned to the eggs he was cooking, "Would you like your eggs spicy or sweet this morning?" "Hmmm.. I'll take them spicy (to counteract the blandness of this tea)." Amai debated rather or not to say aloud the last bit but decided again it. Watching her brother open the fridge and reach for the hot sauce, she said, "Hotter." He reached for the jalapeno hot sauce. "Hotter," she repeated. Groaning, he hovered his hand over the habanero sauce, waiting for his sister's yay or nah. "Hmmm.. Yeah, that'll do." With that, Karai added the hot sauce and served his sister her breakfast as she finished the last of the tea, "Want another cu-" "No," she quickly stated as she picked up a fork and began eating her breakfast, letting out a small hum of happiness. Watching his sister eat her eggs, he couldn't understand how she could eat something so hot.

With breakfast said and done, he ushered Amai to school on his motorcycle (minus the stickers). Hoping off of the bike, she turned and looked to her brother, "Be home tonight and be safe." With that, she turned around headed off to the classroom 2-A, leaving her brother chuckling before he left the school. Walking in, she looked for an open seat. Upon seeing one she liked, she walked over to the other side of the room and took the front window-side seat, waiting for class to start as she pulled out a book a new book she just got called "Empire called Black and Gold."

The alarm rang early that morning as it did every morning for Katsutoshi, who I'll from now on refer to as Katz due to the simplicity of it. He instantly jumped out of bed the moment the alarm made a noise. Even though it was so early there was a spring in every step he took. There were a few reasons he would get up this early. School would be the normal excuse but it was too early to use even that as an excuse. For a normal student that is. As the leader of the discipline committee he'd make sure to get to school early every day before even some teachers were there so he could keep order with. Didn't want anybody to bully somebody when he wasn't there to stop them.

Katz had another reason as well that was far bigger. This was also the time his step father would get up at. That being if he wasn't stuck at the station all night long again which was actually a pretty common thing for him. Not only did he want to get accustomed to the time a police officer like his step father would usually wake up at but it gave them a good chance to just hang out together for a little bit. Their most common morning activity was watching anime they recorded while eating breakfast. They were planning on watching that new anime, Zetman, but due to the lack of grunts and other various noises a grown man tended to make when getting out of bed it was assumed he was stuck at work again all night. Thank god his mother is a heavy sleeper.

Katz decided to just go through the normal daily routine stuff like take a shower, get into uniform, and yadda yadda. He'd also just make some eggs and toast quickly for breakfast and casually go through the channels until he saw something semi-decent to hold him off until he was done eating. He did all those things fairly casually in about 45 minutes before putting on his jacket and sliding his airsoft pistol into a holster located in his jacket and pinning his 'DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE LEADER' armband onto his sleeve. He made no hesitation afterwards in heading out to school in his casual walk. The air was still fairly warm yet not exactly boiling like it would become in the following hours.

It didn't take all that long for him to reach the school. Only about 15 minutes of walking and some mild parkour that was too awesome for me to talk about in full detail and no, it isn't just because I'm so god damn lazy...okay, it's partly because of that. After reaching the school gates he quickly inserted a key to open them and walked right in where he settled on a spot by the main doors. It gave him a great view of everything that happened in courtyard. If any injustices were done he'd see it and exact his own justice on the criminal/

-Sometime Later-

He kept an obedient eye on the courtyard but more or less on the students in it. It seemed like most douchebags were trying to be careful of their actions knowing he was watching them but there seemed like one brave enough try anything. A fat piece of chaotic lard known more commonly as Hiroshi. "Damn, they always try to do this inhumane crap near the main gate." He quickly rushed over but by the time he got there the conflict had already been resolved. It seemed a student by the name of Shiro had taken justice into his own hands without actually having to lay a hand on Hiroshi...or at least no bruises could be seen because of them.

Now that the conflict was resolved it was up to Katz to arrest the criminal. Hiroshi hadn't gotten very far when Katz had grabbed onto his wrist. "Sorry, but I'm going to have to take you in. I saw what you were up to. I can't allow this injustice to go down right in front of me." Hiroshi looked back at who had grabbed him. The moment he tried to get away Katz begun to twist his arm. "You can't escape the law so easily, Hiroshi." Hiroshi must have figured that Katz didn't look all that tough and even he could beat the sh*t out of the fabled disciplinary cimmittee leader. It'd be a good way to boost his self esteem and rep back up. Or at least that's what Katz deducted from Hiroshi's attempted strike that only lead to him flat on his face a moment later. Not a good idea to mess with somebody trained to be a cop.

He tried to get back up but his head ran into something. It was Katz's airsoft pistol but it was enough to freak Hiroshi out and keep him motionless. "Nuh uh uh. What did I tell you? My justice is absolute against scum like you. Wait, I may have not said that...oh well. It's still true." He kept a smile throughout the whole incident which some people found to be kind of creepy about him. Katz on the other hand just liked to play cops and scummy criminal. He closed his eyes and looked at the large group talking about some model or whatever. "Would your group mind moving somewhere else? Your blocking the main gate. It appears that I've forgotten to open my eyes so I've yet to see any of you so I suggest you all move before I remember to." He didn't see the point (no pun intended) in just writing up a bunch of fangirls...and boys for something so mild. Hiroshi wasn't so lucky though.

-About 5 Minutes Later-

After having sent the criminal scum, Hiroshi, to the principals office he headed to his classroom for this school year. That class being 2-A of course. The moment he entered some of the commotion seemed to pipe down a bit but that's too be expected when somebody on the disciplnary committee walked in. He let out a small sigh but went back to his casual friendly smile before grabbing a seat in the front row...OF JUSTICE!

The day was young, the sun shining ever so brightly upon the world, and though less so in the windows of the class, it was evident that the Summer, despite soon coming to a close, was going with a big bang, and it scorched through the glass; Hyde himself could see this, his desk searing hot as he touched it with his palms, recoiling from the burning agony the sun had inflicted upon the desk before him. It seemed like Gym Class, first thing in the morning, was not half bad: he'd be able to get outdoors and into the nitty-gritty before the heat would get to him, and on top of that the fountain was free due to it being lesson period.

He was simply gazing out the window, no-one really attracting his attention, before all of a sudden hearing a familiar voice. Gently turning his head, he caught sight of the black hair, and in contrast the pale skin, as well as those cyan eyes, of one of the last year students who seemed, to Hyde at least, like a mature individual, who'd go far in this life; his name was Izanagi; of course, the boy addressed Hyde by his surname, being the respectful shooting star he was, to which Hyde gave him a sincere smile as he wrapped his hands around his head, leaning off the table, his chair tilting backwards with a subtle, yet confident chuckle.

"Your assumption was safe as well as accurate Izanagi...." Hyde spoke up, loud-esque and proud as he looked around the classroom, his gaze shortly returning to the lad again. "...when you live by the beach, and have a brother like mine, the Summer Vacations are the best; how's about you then? Everything okay from your perspective?" asking with a subtle sincerity in his voice, considering the fact this guy didn't talk to many people much, so he felt quite privileged and, thus, felt obliged to indulge in a good conversation with the boy. His quite mysterious nature, itself, gave him quite the buzz whenever he talked to him, and it went without saying he enjoyed discussing with the guy.

Shortly after, Kokobunji's gaze, amongst the many, had focussed upon this new person in their class. He wasn't in their class last year, Hyde knew this. Was he a transfer? Maybe he was a foreign exchange student? Well, whatever the case, he didn't look in place with the rest of the class. It was as if the uniform wasn't for him, he didn't seem to suit it. Well, it didn't matter, Hyde wasn't prejudiced...was slightly prejudiced, but not enough to label this person as something weird or extraordinary; after all, he didn't know him from Adam.

Then, of course, came a familiar, yet very adamant face. It was young Miss Yoshiko Watanabe, without question the strongest student academically, having seemed to ace, dead on, every single test thrown her way. Hyde would have expected this braniac to reach the top end jobs, maybe run the next tyrant business in the world of sharks, or even a political leader, or a scientist: there was no question she'd get the career of her desires, however if she had to fall short, it would definitely be in the personality department: she seemed to purposely isolate herself from people, Hyde didn't even know if she actually had a single friend. Then again, similar to this new kid, Hyde himself didn't know Yoshiko well enough to solidly define anything about the girl; instead he simply asked Izanagi "Huh, looks like Yoshiko's in her usual spot: front row away from windows, I wonder if she'd be interested or not..."

Amai then made her entrance, rather simple and sweet, eyeing down a single seat, before talking the front in his row; of course, then came Katz who, being the person he is with firm morals, took the front row as well: yep, everything was getting into the swing of things. Eventually, other students began to fill the seats, Hyde patting Izanagi upon the back as he said "Well, seems to me that we're going to begin lessons soon: make sure you get back in your seat Izanagi, I'll talk to you later!" to the compadre of his, before, of course, on cue, the teacher made her entrance, simply saying "Students, we've a change of plans: I'm afraid your Gym Class'll take place during 13:00 due to facilitating the needs of other students. Instead, we've got advanced mathematics!" "AWWWW!!!!"

The Sun was almost at it's peak, and it was certainly not helping out with the weather at all, only getting hotter. Many lessons had passed, now it was simply free study. Hyde was busy disguising his tickets under his book as he figured out how to plan this all out. What took him by, a degree, of surprise was the door suddenly opening.. The teacher's face seemed a little pissed off, having her vibe being broken as the door was opened, however she soon smiled as she said "Ah, Shiro, you're showing up today?" The person, at the door, was Shiro, having made his first appearance in the classroom, although this was somewhat a regular thing. Either he wouldn't be in the school, at all, or rather he'd enter at a time he wished. He always aced tests to 100%, which is why teachers didn't call him up upon it.

Simply walking to the 5th column 6th row's seat, silent as his gaze was fixed upon the seat, before taking it as if he had arrived first thing in the morning, simply taking out his work as he continued to get onto his business, as if nothing had happened. Hyde, however, realized something had happened. Each time this happened, he was so damn tempted to stick his hand up and call the guy out, but something about Shiro just unbalanced Hyde by nature. Something about him made him feel peculiar. Whatever the case, Hyde simply returned to his studies, although it was more of a little tactic, a play he'd make. Upon the envelope was entitled "Koroko Kakashi" as he looked over to a red haired girl, who seemed to be minding her business; little did Hyde know she was, in fact, reading "Lazuli Today!" fashion section for, of course, Daisuke's many photoshoots.

All of a sudden, "You: you placed tickets in that envelope, right?" Shiro had asked Hyde, his blue eyes focused upon Hyde's, to which he went on to say "You're giving them to her; you realize that this Circus is quite a notorious one, right?" This brought a look of confusion upon Hyde's face, but Shiro simply said, to this blank look "Listen to me: I know you're going to go, and I know you'll get in trouble; take this as a warning, be careful, for everyone's sake."

Noticing that the teacher had finally entered the classroom, Yoshiko put away the book she was reading to give the teacher her utmost attention. To her delight the gym class wouldn't be happening right now, and instead at 13:00 o'clock. She didn't want to be outside in that hot whether if she didn't have too and the sun was doing one heck of a job today. Instead of gym, they would be having advance mathematics; now that was something that Yoshiko would gladly trade with gym. The math class eventually passed, as did many of her other classes and before she knew it she had her "free study" period. Using the time as only she would, her desk consisted of almost every subject she had that school year; with her Advanced Physics book open, filled with all sorts of marks, notes and even small corrections. Suddenly the door opened and in walked Shiro, who simply demanded attention no matter where he was even if he didn't want it. He never came to class consistently, but he never failed one of his tests, and it was because of that the teachers never bother him about his absences; though most teachers were in favor of Shiro. He also had most of the female students in the school fawning over him, with him even managing to snatch the 3rd spot in the hottest guy charts. 'Judging someone on simply their appearance is such a tasteless distraction. One that I do not have time for. Though...I suppose he is quite attractive.' He walked towards the back, and when he was no longer in her sights, he also left her thoughts and she returned to her work.

Kazuo sat there with a bored expression; with his chin resting upon the lower half of his hand with fingers folded in except for his thumb. He continued to stare out of the window getting lost in his thoughts. The sounds of conversation had all faded away for Kazuo. The redeeming factor of this morning is that no one has bother Kazuo, yet. Breaking his own train of thought, Kazuo looked back to the front of the room. Coincidentally, the teacher then entered into the room just right after Kazuo turned to face the front of the class. Addressing the class, the teacher told the students that gym would be moved to 13:00 in the afternoon and instead, they would now have advanced mathematics. Right away most of the students responded with an unfavorable and unified "AWWWW!!!!". Hearing the news of the change, Kazuo almost launched his fist into the window, but luckily was able to hold his dissatisfaction in. "(Damn it, just when I thought this morning was okay...)" Kazuo thought. Sure, he would rather be at home in the most favorable situation, but since that wasn't the case, he would prefer physical exercise over book work.

Well, no use to complain or make a scene, Kazuo would just pass the time as he used to do during his first year, and that was doing absolutely nothing. Well, paying attention to the lesson first then proceed to do nothing. Lesson after lesson, Kazuo started to reach his limit of paying attention. He knows there is no way he would do the class or home work, and before a test he'll probably cram anyways like always so why should he continue paying attention any longer. Fortunately for him, relief came in the form of free study time. And for Kazuo, free study time means napping at his desk time. Yet he couldn't nap today. The sun swelled overhead and like an idiot, he chose to sit next to a window. Sure it would pay off for him in spring when the sakura blossoms would be in full bloom, or in fall or winter, but the blazing sun was unbearable at this hour. Suddenly, a young man entered the classroom much to the teacher's initial distaste which was soon replaced with a smile. Apparently, the one who had just entered is named Shiro. Kazuo had never heard of him, not that that is any surprise.

Later on, after Shiro had taken his seat near the back, he then started a conversation with a student named Hyde. Usually Kazuo didn't care about what others are doing around him, but being in close proximity, Kazuo could hear the conversation going on. What Shiro had told Hyde sparked an interest in Kazuo. Shiro had told Hyde that he knew Hyde would go to the grand opening of that new Circus opening down by the pier and he also warned Hyde to be careful, for everyone's sake. That "everyone" part sounded peculiar to Kazuo. Just what did Shiro mean by "everyone"? At first Kazuo thought Shiro was referring to people both he and Hyde knew but the way Shiro talked to Hyde didn't seem like they knew each other personally so how would they know the same group of people. It was strange no doubt, but Kazuo soon push the thought aside. However, the thought about going to the pier later on sparked in his mind. "(That wouldn't be so bad actually... It'll be nice to cool off from this heat...)" Kazuo thought.

Amai let out a yawn as the teacher came in and announced the schedule change. Amai didn't really care when GYM came along, though she did like the idea of it being towards the end of school. That way, at least she was stretched and warmed up for her fencing practice. Letting out another yawn, Amai put her book away and pulled out her books, readying for today's lessons. Before Amai knew it, it was free study. Not having enough homework to bother pulling out and doing it now, Amai decided to pull out her book and continued reading it. As she read, she reached into her bag, pulling out a small thermos that she had filled with iced tea earlier. Accounting for the hot weather, Amai adjusted her tea to where once the ice was melted and it was a cool temperature, it would be at its optimal taste. She then pulled out a simple white tea cup and saucer that had winter birds and branches painted on it. Pouring some tea for herself, she began to sip from the cup as she would flip a page. About half way through, Shiro decided he was going to show up for the first day of school and promptly took a seat before starting to ramble on about some kind of safety issue. Rolling her eyes a little, she dismissed it and continued on with her book and tea.

Katz repelled his desire to look out the window. Even where he was seated he couldn't help but notice the blaring heat. "So ol' summer still had it in her for a day like this? You know what they say. A candle that shines twice as bright burns out twice as quickly. Although that candle should have burnt out yesterday. Now this is just a disorderly mess. School just starting again means the air conditioners aren't even cooling this school down in the slightest. I'll just have to persevere. A hero of justice wouldn't falter over something so minor!" He launched his fist into the air due to the excitement that had overcome him just mentioning being a hero of justice like from a kiddy show. He didn't even seem to care if others noticed but they were probably more ocused on other things at the moment.

After he had settled down which came pretty quickly after noticing the distraction he may have caused which he really didn't the teacher had walked in and announced the news. "What are they complaining about? It's not like this school is actually hotter than outside. Running around with this heat would just increase the likeliness of heat stroke. Although it would probably just be hotter later. But maybe the school would be a tad bit cooler later. And I rather not go to gym and smell like old socks for the rest of the day. Ha! The logic of justice always prevails!" It was then that the teacher announced that they'd be doing advanced mathematics insteads. He slumped down and placed his head on his desk. "Per...se...vere..."

-A Few Classes Later-

Being the first day of school there wasn't really all that much that was needed to be studied. It seemed like everybody was just being extremely casual and doing whatever they felt like. Some were talking. Others were texting. ne guy was even sleeping. Katz himself was not excused from such actions that may go against a rule or two. At the moment he had his airsoft pistol dissasembled and laid out on his desk. He then proceeded to put it together at a rate that would impress anybody. "I wonder if that was a new record. I should have brought a stopwatch." Katz had the tendancy to not really bother people about these minor things and he was pretty much an exception due to his position. That was until a scent began to hang into the air. A pleasant scent that reminded Katz of the heat. This was bothersome to him...

Katz stood up to confront the perp who had caused this scent to fill the classroom but before he was able to take a single step the door had opened. Soon after the teacher had walked in with Shiro not far behind. Katz's eyes narrowed seeing him just now coming to class. A clear disturbance of peace and just a general violation to school rules. Not to mention another one of the rare excetions. A genius they called him. Even though he was scarcely here he rivaled Yoshiko in practically every subject. "That bastard..." Shiro had soon taken a seat and already began to start up a conversation with another student.

Katz shrugged it off and decided to continue in the direction of the student he was originally heading for. He once again had his usual friendly smile on his face as he looked at the girl. "Hello, Ms. Megumi. I see you have brought what seems to be a full tea set to the school. It's not lunch time yet...but I was wondering if I could have some." He let out a slight laugh. "Sorry, I may have scared you there for a moment. I'm sure it's pointless of me to mention since you should already be aware but it's hot. Really really hot." It was then that he remembered who exactly he was asking and quickly bowed to her. "If you happen to have a spare cup may I please have some tea?"

Needless to say, the simple statement from the boy named Shiro had, somewhat, shaken Hyde's usual mellow state of mind, not just in a creepy, peculiar, eek-get-away-from-me kind of way, but in a numinous and ethereal manner. Hyde didn't know much about Shiro, and yet he trusted every single syllable that fell from his pale, yet slightly tanned and tight lips as if he preached it from a holy book. The long haired individual's voice wasn't shaky, simply stern, essentially he had commanded Hyde to be careful at the event, the Cirque de'Scuridad, due to notorious activity, for everyone's sake. Not for Hyde's, or the recipient of the letter, but simply everyone; perhaps a vague term, but everyone is usually a lot of people.

Needless to say, unlike perhaps the much more wise Kazuo, Hyde simply discarded the worries, and of course decided to return to his studies; in doing so he buried his head into his arms as he moaned aloud "God how I hate having nothing to do-" "Excuse me, Mr Kokobunji, this is a class, private study, so please do not talk and occupy yourself. Remember, the younger years don't get this extra time to work with, so use it wisely." the teacher soon scolded the boy, who as a result maintained his buried her as his cheeks became rosy, a few laughs and sniggers exploding from mouths as people tried to hold it back: how often does a student just blurt out boredom, especially during a class, with a teacher present, when there was many things he could indulge himself in? So, Hyde decided to finish up the homework, due at later lessons during the very same day, in order to pass the time.
Gym class, and to put it simply, Hyde's little plan had gone to pot; Koroko, upon Hyde asking her to the Cirque, simply, yet formally, had declined his offer, simply wanting to be friends; a little shot at his ego, but it wasn't anything that Hyde knew he couldn't shake off. Needless to say, despite the what would seem awkward situation, Koroko and Hyde had paired up in dual activities, as well as participated in the same team during basketball, perhaps a sign? No, definitely not, because throughout the two pretty much acted like friends, simply making jokes, having fun, and of course taking the piss out of the teacher's toupee.

Hyde decided to push the thought aside, because even though they didn't have their teacher for gym this year, and it went without saying how much Hyde would have loved to, their current gym teacher was essentially a drill sergeant with hair issues, as well as being very affected by any remarks upon side issue; besides that, the sun seemed not to give a damn they were in gym at all, gladly giving the irish-skinned kid a sunburn, his face redder than a tomato, as well as Shiro simply leaving due to said heat; Hyde himself decided to spend pretty much 75% of his time by the fountain to maintain his cool, keeping his skin cool and moisturized; dehydration could very well be a risk, probably more so for Yoshiko than anybody due to her history with quite the relationship with heat. It wasn't too long, however, before Gym class ultimately subsided.
School had passed, Hyde having been left with two tickets to this circus. Who could he go with? He had spent a portion of his savings upon them, nothing that he could throw around freely. See, most of his closer friends wouldn't be going due to a marathon of gaming, maybe spending some time on yugiohcardmaker.net, or simply watching TV, whatever was on or shizz, so they were all out of the question. He had tried to work a date out of it, but no interest upon the other half. All that really was left was...

"Ah, Daisuke!" Hyde exclaimed, having realized his solution: his brother, his best friend, of course he'd go with him. What's better is that he'd probably have a flock of swooning fans following nearby, which made his chances of getting a gal all the more likely, plus there was no-one he'd rather go with than his elder brother in truth, but of course peer pressure sort of ruled it out: this was essentially a middle finger to peer pressure. "Yeah, what's up lil' bro?" a familiar voice beckoned behind Hyde, causing him to turn around in surprise, before chuckling as he realized Daisuke was there all along, ready to pick him up. Walking side by side, Hyde began to ask Daisuke his proposal, the elder looking content with it if viewed from a distance...and then came the club.

Eventually, Hyde and Daisuke had changed into something simple, Daisuke taking a Hawaiian shirt and knee-high short number, sandals of course, whereas the younger of the two opted for a white and striped shirt with shin-high cargos, white socks and sneakers for the hyped occasion, although one would question their choice in beach-like wear, especially if their going upon the pier where, though warm, it certainly wouldn't be reason for their attire: 1 - Comfort, and 2 - They were making their first stop to the "Thanks a Latte" cafe, simply to rake in some dosh; their other, Torneko, a large dark-skinned man in a muumuu, usually held the stronghold during their work hours as well as afterwards, however Hyde and Daisuke did enjoy working for their living too.

Most people who end up playing against her in chess, excluding those she would play against for mere pleasure and company, would end up crying. Izanagi leaned back against the textured blocks of the school gate, his fingertips lightly grazing the right side of his face. The rhythmic breathing partaking of the slightly cooler air the shadows offered. The floods of human bodies going to and fro had recently calmed, he felt at home here. There was something magestic about the grounds, the stresses and crowds vanished, the shell became something more. Not as to seem lacking, but alive, resting corridors and the flickering sunlight through dust-covered glass panes independent of life inside it. Izanagi had always seen depth in the smallest things, sometimes people wo have everything are blind everything else. It struck him as this may be the reason he felt so uneasy about Hyde, Izanagi had alwasy felt this way but never properly explained to himself why. The isolated gale eased through the cast iron openings and open walkways.

His day had been fair being somewhat popular, whilst out of his control, he had managed to welcome his old companions and new acquantiences. Izanagi never went so far to call one of these persons a friend, not out of superiority or solitude but more so the worth he placed in the word, no one has ever earned such a title in his eyes. Luckily Izanagi had managed to avoid Gym class entirely with a well-forged note dismissing him on account of a cardiac condition. What they didn't know, won't hurt them but he can sure as hell take advantage of the fact. He once debated that morality of that action, it was put off to a later date... one after his graduation.

Dust shot up as Izanagi spun his foot and in the same motion throwing his school blazer over his shoulder, a very relaxed position. Izanagi couldn't help but smile, he would never do this in front of the students... there was a certain confidence in being alone. Being far behind the dismissal rampage left an open route to the local exterior mall, not a familiar destination but one he choose, one of those decisions you can't rationalize but do it anyways. His grin stayed, "This must be it...", he words escaped into the deserted aspalt and the remaining daylight.

Roughly a mile down the road, was a bit of commottion the frolking students, adults, and children going about their business and enjoyment weaving the enterances. The modern architexure pleased Izanagi, he enjoyed the clean sharpness that came with it. He was in an oddly good mood. Izanagi realized this but simply refused to argue something so pleasent. It had been too long since he felt genuinely happy, the school must have had some effect on this. Izanagi's eyes fell upon the banner of quiet bookstore. After a fast glance to the plaza's central clock, he entered.

During P.E Yoshiko was the only one who wasn't actually doing anything. She still dressed out in the uniform, but she had yet to move from the fountain that the other students would periodically stand beside to get cool. The reason for that was because of Yoshiko's surprisingly low tolerance for heat of any kind, in fact her face - despite staying by the fountain - was flushed red considerably, and she was sweating slightly. Yoshiko sighed fanning her face with her hand. While she enjoyed physical activities just as much as the next person - she had to strengthen her body as well as her mind - she just could not function under heat like this. She glanced up at the sky, using her hand to try and block the sun. Why did it have to be so hot? If only they had P.E inside the gym this wouldn't be a problem. Yoshiko was starting to feel lightheaded, and slightly faint, her face becoming redder by the second. So she stood up, and walked over to the teacher to ask to go to the nurse so she could rest. Yoshiko was permitted and she finally was able to escape the heat.

After school Yoshiko walked out with her father, and didn't bother speaking to any of the other kids as she got in the car to head home. Now at home, she did what she always did; she went up to her room and started on the homework she received. The homework was very easy, the only thing she had to double check was the history homework. An hour or two later, she was finished and was putting her books away when she heard loud talking outside. Yoshiko headed over to her window and saw a couple of girls. They were talking unnecessarily loud. "Circus?" Yoshiko had never actually been to one, her parents deeming it a distraction, though she had read about them. They were also talking about heading over to "Thanks a Latte". It was a very nice little place, but Yoshiko had other things on her mind. Grabbing her book bag she put her dancing materials, a library book hat needed to be returned, and her ipod. It had been a while since she had actually danced, and it was starting to weigh on her.

Yoshiko told her parents that she was going to the library, which she was so it wasn't a lie, and that she would be back before late. She made a quick stop at the library to return the book, then headed toward the park which had a branched off trail that lead to a forested running trail. She went off the path, and to a small secluded area that was nothing but a small space surrounded by trees. "It's nice here." Yoshiko mumbled changing into her uniform which was a simple black leotard, some loose grey sweats and black ballet shoes. Yoshiko put in her head buds and the moment she did everything else felt like a fleeting dream as her body began to move fluidly and rhythmically with the music playing. A smile came to her face the longer she danced, and it was clear that this was one of the few times where she was truly happy.

Katz smiled at Amai as he received the cup of tea from. He took a drink from it before replying to her, "I've been doing well. It's a bit hot today but nothing I can't handle. Although the tea certainly does help ease the strain. Thank you for it, by the way. It's really good." They then proceeded to have what I will assume was a nice casual conversation while drinking the what I will assume is wonderful tea until his cup was empty and he bid her a farewell not before once again thanking her for the tea and returning to his seat.

-Later In Gym-

Gym wasn't very memorable for Katz. Nothing really important or worth mentioning had happened to him. It's not like he was confessing to a girl or was especially weak to heat as to cause this class to have any special significance. No, he pretty much just participated in the class normally like most of the other non player characters. Not like somebody was seriously going to try anything when the disciplinary committee leader was tossing a ball or whatever with some other random person who's even less worth mentioning than Katzs throughout the whole gym period.

-After School-

The moment the bell rang to end classes for the day Katz began to pack up to leave which is something everybody was doing. Unlike most kids though he had no intention of leaving the school's premises just yet. He walked to the top floor of the school and once there he found a door with a sign on it. On the sign it read DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE HQ. The sign was of course made by Katz who wanted to make the room they used seem a bit more cool. Entering the door there were a few tables spread out but the most notable feature of the room was a desk in front of the room's window and a nice armchair stationed behind it.

Katz situated himself at the desk and did what the kids would describe as 'chillaxing.' This peace didn't last long as he took out a few books and notebooks. He began to do the homework he received that day while every so often looking out the window just making sure no problems were happening. If somebody tried to do asnything he'd soon feel a sting, find a bb on the ground, and then see a shoe right before it comes into contact with his face. Of course people would try to steal somebody's lunch money or whatever bullies nowadays took from poor defenseless students in a cliche alley or behind the gym but Katz already had this covered. Katz was not the only member of this committee. If he was he'd have nobody to lead and then it'd just be silly to call himself the disciplinary committee leader.

Katz opened a drawar to his desk and took out a walkie talkie, the perfect device for communication among a certain group of people, and set it on his desk. He had his fellow committee members patrol the school and if there were any sort of problems they'd contact him immediatly via walkie talkie. Due to the severe lack of static it was clear there were no problems in the areas being patrolled. He looked out the window just in time to see the last kid finally leave. Katz then proceeded to pick up his walkie talkie once again and speak into it, "Hey guys, it seems like the area is all clear for today. We can head home now. Good work and have fun today. You all earned it." Katz made his signature smile once again even though nobody could see it.

Katz set the walkie talkie back in the drawar before packing up the rest of his stuff and heading out the door. It wasn't long until Katz was back on the first floor of the school. "Hm, I wonder what I should do today? Should I just chillax at home today? Wait, do kids these days even say chillax anymore? And if they do should I even be saying it? Villains be the ones chillin. I need to burn up like the sun or something cool like that." It was then that he had stepped outside and immeditaly felt the intense heat. "That was easier than I though it'd be..."

Needless to say, Thanks a Latte was buzzing with attention. It wasn't overwhelmed, by the seats were filled on the in and outside, as well as the stools at the front of the counter itself. It was simply due to Daisuke's appeal, as well as the great food and beverages available to the customers, courtesy of Torneko, aka Muumuu man, who ran the stove at a blazing furnace in the back with BBQ sandwiches and the like, dishing out order after order for the two Kokobunjis to sort out. The evidently obese man was sweating like a pig in the kitchen, but persisted to continue his task with vigorous energy, a blazing inkling in his eye as the meat fried before him; it didn't go without saying that he had a passion for cooking, and a talent to boot; perhaps the reason why he works here, besides the perks of peeping, were amongst his passion as well as a decent pay.

Daisuke's attention was upon the bar, a flock of his fans screaming his name, clawing past each other to simply get a view of the male model, who in the meantime, shirt now hugging his waist as he used his shirtless self to pour the drinks for the many orders, smirked as he quite frankly enjoyed being such a tease. Even blowing a kiss had a few trying to grasp this metaphor and even fight over it. Additionally, the removal of his band allowed his ponytail to fall as rich, long, silky hair cascading down his back, teeth shimmering, working his butt off. From coffees to infusions, sodas to ice creams, he was essentially the master of the bar. Briefly swinging by Amai, giving her a cheeky wink as in his nature, he said "Alrighty sweetie, table three will settle you nicely; I'll have a waiter bring your drinks in a few~." before attending the roaring crowd.

Assuming Amai had, indeed, taken her seat, it then fell upon Hyde. The boy with a orange apron, their insignia upon the right peck with a name tag, took a big pile of dishes on a tray as he bowed gratefully to now leaving customers, bidding them good wishes and a friendly farewell, a shining smile upon his gentle face. Needless to say, he wasn't that busy, but after managing to hear Daisuke call him over with the order, Torneko with tray ready at bay, he perked up and had a look at the order: a cafe favorite, Mocha Latte with a chocolate bar nestled within the heavenly infusion, marshmallow nestled as it melted upon it's tip. Chuckling at the sight, he had a feeling he knew the sweet tooth who'd be enjoying this delight.

His assumptions were correct, Amai Megumi herself, and so assuming that she had taken herself to Table 3 as proposed by the elder brother, Hyde made his way to her, placing the tray in front of the rather peculiarly dressed girl, to which he said "I never did manage to get your fashion style Amai; it's a pleasure to see you again, I hope you've had a nice holiday." with a smile, small knife gently cutting a shortbread biscuit into halves, right angled triangles, and to finish the little presentation a quick flick of the wrist, the label upon a small little packet of honey unveiled. Chuckling after his little feat, Hyde hummed contently as he took a seat in front of Amai herself, asking "So, how've you be-" "Lil' bro, you can flirt when we're done cleaning up; you do want to go to the circus, right?"

Blushing, he barked back to his teasing elder brother "Hey, I'm not flirting, we're just catching up!" "Yeah, yeah, whatever the case get your butt off the chair and into the kitchen!" Daisuke called back with a chuckle, shaking his head before returning his attention to his crowd; Hyde, blush now disappeared behind his tanned cheeks, bowed to Amai as he had done prior before saying "Anyways, it's been a pleasure serving you, young Ms; we are closing up early to head out to the circus, like many other places, but by all means take your time and enjoy your treat." Hyde, then, made his way back into the kitchen, ready for another order to be dished out, another table to be served, another customer to bring a smile to.
It was roughly two hours, the Cafe was still buzzing, but Daisuke and Hyde were nowhere to be found. Torneko had promised to shut down the cafe for the day in order to get the brothers out and onto the roads to head out to the Circus in no time flat. Needless to say Hyde was concerned about the cafe itself, the last thing on his mind Shiro's words, because all he could think about know was the actual event. The circus came round once a year, each time re-known for the absolute marvelous spectacles, from seemingly life-threatening leaps to ferocious flames and fire play, to optical illusions and beyond. Ethereal and bizzare, the Cirque de'Scuridad beckoned these spectacles, it lived and breathed them.

The clink-clonk trotting of the wooden planks from the two brothers, after leaving their car, was quite simple: Daisuke took the tickets to the stall, ready to get them punched for the event, whilst Hyde simply sat on one of the many benches, looking into the starry skies above, smiling at the marvel as he awaited his brother's return.

Amai almost let out a squeal of happiness when she saw the delicious treat heading her way. It wasn't until it was sitting in front of her that she noticed who the server was, forgetting who worked here for a moment. "Hello Hyde. How are you today? It's not a surprise that the cafe` is so busy today.. It's perfect to enjoy a cool, sweet treat like this." She was on the verge of drooling at this point as Hyde whipped out the honey, the nectar of the gods in Amai's opinion. "I had an alright holiday.. Spent most of it running the shop because my brother, Karai, wasn't home 87% of the time," she shrugged as she said this. She accepted the fact that her brother was less then... responsible most of the time. As Hyde took a seat, Amai took a spoonful of the delectable treat and placed within her mouth, letting out a small squeal of happiness. She readied another spoonful as Hyde tried to attempt to further the conversation, but was interrupted by his bigger brother. She let out a small chuckle, despite the rudeness the older brother just generated. How could she get sour with something so sweet in front of her and [would have been] good company. Giving Hyde a small wave as he got up, she dived into her treat...

---------------------------------------------------------

Amai waved as a couple left the clothing store. With it being not too far from the circus itself and well-known for a variety of clothing for any occasion, people were stopping to buy cloths and 'dress-up' for the circus. Most people where buying accessories of various colors with festive designs fight for a clown. Walking to the door, she flipped the sign to show "Closed" and locked the door. Turning around, she flipped the lights off and left the store from the back. Walking to the front of it, she waited a few minutes to see if her brother would arrive at their prearranged time. Letting out a slightly depressing sigh after ten minutes, she headed off to the circus, her ticket in hand. Looks like the eggs that morning was an apology for his absence during her holiday and not being there to take her to the circus.

Yoshiko finished her dance, still feeling uncharacteristically happy, changed back into her original clothes; which was her school uniform, and exited the small clearing. Soon she found herself back at the park, which still had a couple of kids playing on the equipment and their parents watching them nearby to make sure nothing happened. Slowly the smile that was on her face dissipated into her usual apathetic appearance. As she was heading back to her home she heard a lot of people talking about the circus which was apparently about to start soon. There were also a lot of couples heading in that direction. A flyer on a store's window caught her attention. It was for the circus. "It must be really popular..." She mused dully, as she was hardly interested in things like that...But she wouldn't lie and say she wasn't completely uninterested in it. There was just no way she would be able to go. It required a ticket, and she would get in trouble for wasting her time with troublesome things.

"What? What do you mean you can't come!?" Some boy exclaimed on his cellphone looking down. "We've been planning this for weeks now." There was a pause before he sighed, "Fine, fine. I guess it can't be helped...Alright...See you later." He hung up and scratched his head as if he had a problem that he just couldn't solve. He noticed me looking at him, and walked over.

"Hey...Um, I know this is kind of weird, but I have this circus ticket that's really of no use to me now. My girlfriend can't make it and I would really hate to waste it. So, um.." He seemed uncomfortable. It was probably due to the way Yoshiko stared at him, her expression unchanging.

"You....Are talking to me?" Yoshiko asked inwardly surprised but not showing it.

"Uh...Yeah I guess I am. So do you want the ticket or not?" Yoshiko hesitated for a moment before slowly opening her hand. The guy handed her the ticket, and walked off before telling me to have a good time. She stood there for a minute wondering if she should go to the circus. She felt bad about wasting the ticket but she knew she shouldn't go...but. "I just want to see what it is...Beside I already have the ticket." She justified before heading to where the mass of people were going. She just hoped it was worth all of this commotion.

It wasn't long until Katz had eventually arrived home. After entering through the door his eyes were drawn upon the clock hung on the wall. "I stayed at the school for quite a bit. It's already this late..." Walking into the living room he noticed that both his mother and step father were on the couch watching TV. "Hey, mom. Hey, dad." He actually refered to his stepfather as dad which would seem odd to some but they were just that close even though they weren't blood related. "Are you not working today? I thought because of the circus tonight they'd have more police officers around on foot and car near it."

His stepfather, or more commonly known as Junpei to his friends, chuckled before replying, "I managed to get off today."

A question mark appeared above Katz's head. It was obvious he was a bit curious about something. "Why have you not mentioned this before? I wouldn't have stayed at school for so long."

Jun, as I will call him from now on because I'm too lazy to type in three more letters, reached into his pocket and pulled out three tickets. "I wanted to surprise you with these. I scored some sweet tickets to the circus that's in town."

Katz felt there was something a bit odd here. "You just found out about the circus yesterday and used a bunch of favors while also creating some to get some coworkers to cover for you and get a day off. No...two days off. You weren't here in the morning not because you were working but because you got into one of those long lines to obtain those tickets."

A sweat drop rolled from the side of his face. "Gah! There's no point in tricking you. Your deduction skills excel even my own. You're certainly my son."

Manly tears began to flow from both of their eyes. "Dad..."

"Son..." The two soon embraced eachother in what was deemed the most epic brohug of all time as mainly tears flowed down both of their cheeks. I have the wierdest boner right now.

Katz's mother, who I've yet to figure out a name for, pretty much just sat there the whole time watching the amazing spectacle with a large sweat drop rolling down her face. It was obviously from the heat of the moment and not from the extreme awkwardness. "I sometimes forget how old you two are..." That comment was obviously about the impressiveness of their youthful vigour that still turned out to be extremely manly.

-Later At The Circus-

They aren't there yet. Wait...wait...okay! Now the three have entered through the main gate and were already amazed with the sights that could be seen. Where as his parents were attracted to the lights and booths there was one sight that caught Katz's eye. Well the lights and booths were very appealing but not for a hero of justice. It was the sight of a young girl that...do I really have to keep doing that? It was Amai. Katz saw Amai walking along towards the circus. I really need to stop trying to be somewhat poetic. But anyway, any hero of justice would notice the gloomy face of a young maiden in a crowd of excitement. It's like the first superpower you get.

"Hey, I'll meet up with you two later at the main show." Katz then proceeded to give the two a thumbs up.

Jun laid his hand on Katz's shoulder. "Go get her."

Katz's face quickly grew red. "Wait, what? It's not like that. I just kniow her from class and I owe her one."

His mother's face was blank. "What are you two talking about?"

Both Jun and Katz smiled at her and gave a thumbs up. The two then simultaneously said, "It's a hero of justice thing." Katz then proceeded to run off until hitting the crowd and politely asking people to klet him through.

Their simple explanation kept his mother's face blank. "For my own benefit I'm going to forget the last two minutes just happened...where'd Katzutoshi go?"

It took a little bit but Katz was eventually catching up to Amai. "Yo, Amai!" He slowed down as he came up to her side. He was breathing a bit heavily but smiled at her. "What are you doing here alone? Wait, I suppose I should answer that question first. I came here with my parents but then I noticed you looking depressed and here I am. Now it's your turn."

Hearing rushed footsteps coming her way, Amai turned around in time to look at the incoming person to hear Katz give her a greeting. She was a little disappointed in seeing that it wasn't her brother catching up to her, but at the same time, she wasn't disappointed in the fact that someone she knew was going to tag along with her for the circus. At least she thought Katz was going to tag along when he mentioned his parents. "Hello Katz. Nice to see you again. You're here with family, eh? Must be nice.. My parent's are in the United Stated at the moment, opening up and running another shop until it has a good enough foundation to run off of so they can come back and my brother is apparently too caught up in Godknowswhat to take his little sister to the circus.. Though, to be honest, I still have no idea why I had my hopes up that he'd actually take me with how much of a deadbeat brother he is.. And knowing him, he'll probably won't come back home for a few days, waiting until my disappointment and anger with him dissipate, when it actually makes it worse, him avoiding me. Or at least, that I like to think he's doing, he's probably just too caught up partying or 'adventuring' to even bother coming back home anyways.." Amai was about to continue, but she then realized she was rambling on about issues that were her own to deal with. "I'm sorry about that, I tend to ramble on when I'm upset.. I hope I haven't ruined the night with your family with my ramblings about mine. If I have, I'll make it up to you somehow."

Yoshiko stood a bit awkwardly toward the back of the mass of people getting in line in front of a booth. She saw some of them fumbling with their tickets, and figured that this was the line to hand in the tickets. Deciding to follow suit, she got in line waiting patiently for her turn at the front. When she did get to the front the worker took her ticket, punched a hole into it and handed it back. A polite and quiet 'thanks' passed her lips and she stepped out of line unsure of what to do next. 'Maybe I should have just went back home... Yoshiko thought her eyes trying to follow the crowd which disappeared underneath a large tent, where she assumed the circus performance would take place. Her hands tightened on her bag, a rare sign of nervousness at being so open and doing something she wasn't used too. She bit her bottom lip thinking about skipping the entire thing and just going home. All of these people and their excitement - none of which Yoshiko shared - was overwhelming. Not only that but she didn't see anyone she recognized. Even if she didn't hang out, or even speak to anyone in the class it would have been a bit comforting to see a face she knew. Eventually she took a deep breath and made to walk inside-which was easier said then done, and considering how many people there were Yoshiko ended up being stuck at the back of the group. She was already there, so there was no use backing out now. Besides it was just some wacky people performing, so how bad could it really be?

With all the commotion, all of the hub-bub, and all of the noise, Hyde truly found it extremely difficult to keep his eye on Daisuke. Gazing around, he saw numbers of people in groups, from friends to couples, families to field trips, a very diverse day down at the pier it was indeed. He couldn't recognize anyone, anything at all. So many, in fact, that he could easily assume this event was the biggest in the entire city for the whole year. Bigger than the performances at the Stadium which varied from the annual dance recital to even death metal concerts, and of course, the huge enormous multicoloured tent standing grand at the edge of the pier, lights searing into the skies above, and peppy, upbeat music in the background to really get people in the mood of the excitement. It was a marvel to spectacle upon, and without question was beautiful to see; shame it only came round once a year, but then again if it hadn't, it wouldn't be so special. Plus, being at the start of the school year always drove some excitement into the alumni of the schools.

Hyde's bench was then occupied by another, a girl, strawberry blonde and green eyes, in a white coat, white gloves, dark green under shirt; taking a deep breath she turned her gaze to Hyde, as he did to her, as she said "I take it you're coming to watch the show?" to which Hyde nodded with a smile. The girl then edged over closer to the boy, Hyde a little unsure, as she leaned on him with a sweet smile, whispering into his ear "Well, would you mind coming back into the performer's rooms after the show?". A simple siren call, ensnaring the boy as he nodded, somewhat hypnotized by her tender voice. And she then whispered into his ear "Okay~ Ask around for "Ribbon" since that's my stage name. I'll be waiting; Ciao~" before suddenly being called over by a taller man, arrow-struck heart tattoo upon left check, white long hair rolling down his black magician suit, grey waistcoat, white shirt and red bow, even a black top hat with a red ribbon and bow upon it; tossing the girl, presumably, her white top hat, Hyde watched the two make their way to said grand tent, not even aware of the familiar and striking blue eyes fixed upon him from a distance.

The two performers then spoke to one another, firstly the white haired man, as he challenged the girl's decision in a rather elegant, or snobby, tone "Ribbon, why on earth did you bring that fellow into all this?" to which his response was a stomp on the foot as she said, in a not so tender, sweet, hypnotically beautiful voice, more so a bratty one "Because I can tell his soul tastes delicious, and boss wants bigger meals first; geez, why're you blaming me for following orders Shade?" Shade, clearing his throat after being put in his place, simply shoved his hands in his pockets as he murmured "I wish you'd speak to us nicer, you know, with your nice voice?"

Back with Hyde: after breaking from what seemed like a transient state of bliss, Daisuke arrived to see his brother's head leaning over the bench, drooling, to which shaking the guy he said "Hyde, hey, get up you crazy lump! I've got the tickets already." which, after persevering he managed to shake Hyde out of that odd state. Needless to say, walking into the tent would've been easy, but then Hyde had to convince Daisuke to let him stay behind for a while. Each conclusion of their debate was the same: Daisuke had to keep an eye on Hyde. So, reluctantly..."Fine...you'd may as well come anyway, but-" "But nothing bro, I'm your guardian and I need to know where you are at all times: imagine what Mom and Dad would do if they found out I'd let you get lost?" Daisuke stressed worryingly, unsure if he should've even allowed Hyde to go back. Hyde's face expressed enough, a frown of defeat as he nodded his head "Alright, you're right." he succumbed to Daisuke, who in turn punched him in the arm playfully as he said "Hey, I trust you: I just can't be sure, this event is huge, I need to be 100% careful."

A brief turn of his head, he spotted Yoshiko arriving, to which he quickly told Daisuke to wait up for him, before making his way to Yoshiko herself as he smiled and said "Hey, I never would've thought you'd be interested in going to a circus; it's nice to see you though Yoshiko." before hearing Daisuke call him, tapping his foot before, expectedly, he became barraged by a horde of fans; using this to his advantage, Hyde turned back to the child genius and said "Well, he looks swamped: listen, we should hang out sometime, I'd really like to get to know you better, but right now I have a brother to save. Hopefully I'll see you inside!" with his typical cheery voice, smiling and waving goodbye to the girl as he darted, cloud of dust behind him, lightspeed it seemed, straight through the crowd, Daisuke now flailing behind him by the collar, as the two made their way into the tent. Taking up seats, they began to watch the performance ahead; it looked exciting, seeing as there was, approximately, 10 cannons all in remote places, one even in the crowd's seating.

"Hey, I never would've thought you'd be interested in going to a circus; it's nice to see you though Yoshiko."

Yoshiko stopped and turned to see a boy standing beside her. She stared blankly at him, trying to remember who he was. Once she recognized him as Hyde, she turned her body to face him completely. Another boy then called out to Hyde. He was obviously impaitent, but he was suddenly bombarded by a bunch of girls. Now that was strange. Why would they do that? Because she didn't read magazines she didn't know he was actually a popular model for one, though she had to admit his looks were a bit intimidating. Yoshiko fixed her glasses as Hyde turned back to her.

"Well, he looks swamped: listen, we should hang out sometime, I'd really like to get to know you better, but right now I have a brother to save. Hopefully I'll see you inside!"

As he ran off Yoshiko continued to stare at him, unsure of how to react. She hadn't said anything to him, but that didn't seem to have bothered him. He also said that he would like to get to know her. Though her facial expression didn't change a blush appeared on her cheeks. That was the first time anyone, a boy or girl, had said something like that too her. "I would...Like that..." She whispered to herself, quickly looking around to make sure no one heard her. With another adjustment of her glasses - mostly to cover up her blush - she turned around to follow the others inside of the tent. Again she stood there awkwardly as she looked for a place to sit and watch the performance, but there were so many people it was hard to find an empty chair. Finally spotting a seat she manuvered her way through the crowed and sat down, breathing a silent sigh of reliefe at having found a decent seat. Guess now all that was left was to wait for the show to begin.

Katz listened intently to everything that Amai was saying to him. It was pretty obvious she was unloading a lot of stuff onto him and as an apprentice of justice it was only right that he listen and try to help her out any way he could. She seemed like a good person and worth helping to him. Not to mention she shared her tea so it's only fair. After she had finished and began to apologize and even saying she'll be willing to pay him back some how he just shook his head and smiled at her. "It's fine. Don't worry about that. I'm glad you were able to get these problems out and I appreciate that it was me that you felt like you could talk to about it."

Katz rubbed the back of his head as he thought for a second but thwen returned to his normal smile. "It was pretty obvious though that you were lonely. Anybody could have seen that. After all, who goes to a carnival by themselves? I just happened to the one that wanted to help you. Now..." He grabbed onto Amai's wrist. "Since your brother isn't here for you at the moment then I will be. It's only natural that a hero of justice be there for the damsel in distress." He took a step still holding onto her wrist but stopped right away and looked at Amai. "I'm still glad you were able to tell me but maybe the one you should be talking to is your brother. Maybe he keeps leaving because he doesn't feel like he really has anywhere he belongs but keeps coming back hoping you'll give him that reason. Sorry, maybe now I'm just the one rambling." He chuckled a little bit. "But come on, the show will start soon. We can't miss this." He began to run towards the main tent while dragging her along with him, assuming she didn't fight back too much.

-A Few Minutes Later-

After having fought through an unusually large crowd Katz had managed to get through and into the large tent where he had finally stopped. He appeared to still be holding onto Amai's wrist and hopefully hadn't somehow grabbed onto the wrist of a fangirl...or boy by mistake when trying to get through the crowd or had lost her a while ago. Katz looked around hoping to find a good seat or two. Most of the good seats were taken but there was no seat that could escape Katz's watchful eye. He saw some nearby but it'd take a bit of work getting through. His watchful eye had managed to catch another sight though. It was that of none other than Yoshiko, another one of his fellow classmates along with Amai. "Yo-Shiko!" He waved at her trying to catch her attention while laughing at his little crappy joke. "There's still a few open seats next to her. It'd be nice to sit next to people we know."
