Kōsuke Ueki
"I was saying..." began Kibuto as he chuckled and moved the index fingers of both of his hands in a specific motion, as if he was manipulating the wind left over from the destroyed clones. In fact, that's exactly what he was doing. Because his clones were created by condensed and solidified wind chakra, he can maneuver those bodies of chakra like individual silhouettes. "...don't focus on just your enemy." Now, using his hands, he motions the piles of wind towards the Kiri-Nin. As it began to lift him off the ground, Kibuto's face became sort of sadistic in its expression. "Now, what do you have to say?" Although he didn't account for the Kiri-Nin using a water technique on his clones, he was still able to manipulate the clones at will when they return to their natural wind state. And by tapping into the remaining chakra in the remains of the clones, he was able to manipulate the wind so the same effect as to when the Kiri-Nin would physically attack the clones would happen with manipulating the natural form of the wind left over. And now, he prepares for his possible final attack. He bends downward on both knees, still on his feet, and prepares for the right time to strike. TotalObelisk
Kasumi felt a slight sense of triumph as her shuriken hit home, not doing any serious damage but it was a start. Kasumi could tell his focus was slipping and his anger towards her beginning to blind him. She braced herself for his next attacking, seeing him forming more hand signals and getting ready to counter when the attack finally hit, her two clones taking stance at either side of her, ready to attack the kumo-nin's flank as he unleashes his next technique. What did happen though caught her completely off guard, the kumo-nin didn't announce his attack and all that happened was a blinding flash shot through Kasumi's field of vision, causing her to scream in both surprise and pain. She stumbled backwards a bit, trying to blink the light out of her eyes but having no luck and already having lost all sense of space. She was not used to this, out in battle by herself, ordinarily she'd have someone close by standing guard like a hawk ready for any sign of trouble, to comfort or protect her, but none came. A feeling of terror began to creep over her and she sank to her knees, shaking. She began to panic, hurridly preparing her own hand signals to try and counter whatever the kumo-nin was going to throw at her next. "W-water release," she managed to spout "Solid Mist!" Upon command she did so her two clones collapsed into pools of water which slithered over to her, evaporating into fog and forming themselves into a pair of lethal Katar blades. With little other choice open to her she dashed forwards, praying that the kumo-nin was standing still and hadn't finished preparing his own technique as she jabbed both weapons forward with no real idea of where her opponent even was. Champster
========================= [ Ryu Kazi ] The Kumo-Nin growls in frustration when he realized his Lightning Hound attack didn't hit its target, and felt helplessly at what was inevitably coming towards him. And with a tremendously hard kick towards the scorching heat of fire Ryu's adversary was engulfed in flames. The pain was unbearable, yet regardless of this the Kumo-Nin escaped once the illuminating bright light soon faded. He suffered only minor burns, but the pain lingered still. His anger and frustration continuously boiling. As Ryu sees him contemplating, he tries contacting Shinobu once more to ensure he wasn't captured, and to reassure himself that that he was alright. "Shinobu? What's happened? Shinobu!?". Nothing. Only silence is met. Whether Shinobu was fighting or captured by the Sentinels was unknown to Ryu. His mind played many scenarios as to what happened to his partner, but without any hard clues he did not know what had transpired. Or even where exactly it occurred. And he could not proceed to help him, otherwise he'd blow his cover as a participator within this tournament and no doubt his mission would either fail or become extremely difficult to complete. "Lightning Release: Decimating Bolt!!!". As the Kumo-Nin roared, his left hand was clasping his right wrist, his arm extended at shoulder height towards his adversary and a bolt of concentrated beam of lightning immediately shot itself at an increasingly rapid speed quickly approaching Ryu. ========================= [ Kasumi Harukara ] "Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave!" Blinded earlier, these words were all Kasumi was able to hear as she recklessly attempted to lunge at her adversary with kunai in both hands. And something else entirely after that. A vast amount of water spewed forth from her foes' mouth and, conjuring it and quickly filling the arena, thus forming a colossal wave rapidly approaching Kasumi. And unfortunately Kasumi was too close to her opponent and could not see clearly the danger that was quickly surrounding her. Showering her at first Kasumi soon felt the crushing waters enveloping her, washing her away towards the impenetrable walls of the Kinenhi Coliseum. Her opponent now had to focus his chakra beneath his feet so he would not sink, grinning as he did. The Mizukage listening high above the stands remained unfazed, and kept her composure as she was told what had transpired. Though she was blind, her other senses were vastly superior than most others, especially her hearing. "Did that hurt," her foe mocked, amusingly. "I sure hope it did." Though the water did sorta hurt, it also helped gather her eyesight back -- And not a moment too soon. Her opponent was busy waving at the crowd, celebrating at what he assumed was his victory. Now was the time to strike. To deal the final blow and perhaps win this match. Her guardians were watching closely and felt helplessly when the waves had consumed her. Now, they watch in anticipation at what she would do next... ========================= [ Kibuto Karanime ] The noise the crowd were making fades, and time becomes still. Kibuto's enemy doesn't appear to move, and neither is everyone else around him. Everyone is frozen still, their movements sluggish and dull. Eventually the sun disappears and only the red-blood moon illuminates the arena. Kibuto doesn't seem to worry, though, and quickly realizes it's a Genjutsu. But who used it on him? It wasn't his adversary. No. It was entirely someone else, more experienced. And at what motive? As he made the necessary hand seals to cancel the Genjutsu, and before he could utter the word, a figure appears in front of him. But this form wasn't a person. Instead, it was a cloud of mist and water, slowly shaping into an individual. But not entirely. "You, Kibuto of the Karanime clan and bearer of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, must be cautious as not to expose yourself further as a Jinchuuriki." Jinchuuriki. Kibuto has heard of this before. But was it all true? The Kyuubi, the Nine-Tails, was inside him all this time? "Take heed, doing so would reveal to others that you are one will only bring consequences. An inevitable disaster approaches regardless of this and you and many others like you have already begun and placed it in motion." Kibuto's movements are also dull, his arms and legs are unresponsive to his commands. It was the Genjutsu that immobilized him. "And there are no means of stopping it now. Unless, you control what's inside of you. And no one in the entire world can help you harness this power, but a group of select individuals known as Hakumei may assist you in this task. Seek them out before it is too late, Kibuto. The Demon-Kings are watching, as they did before when fate intervened and bestowed you with the untapped powers of the Nine-Tails long since resting inside you." Kibuto tries asking this form his or her name, but cannot. Or how it even accomplished this Genjutsu. "We shall meet again in due time..." "Wait!" Kibuto finally manages to say. "Who are you? What's your name?" "Shisho. And don't fret, Kibuto, I am neither enemy nor friend." It fades and Kibuto isn't given much time to ponder as the Genjutsu world around him disperses and disappears quickly, and the roaring crowd deafening the arena resumes. The red-blood moon is instead replaced with the sun and Kibuto's body is now responsive. What felt like several minutes in the Genjutsu world, as a matter of fact, only took a fraction of a second within the real world. And his adversary still floating, immobilized by Kibuto's wind clones, growling and cursing at the same time was the only thing Soshaku could do at the moment. ========================= [ Kazuki Fukusawa ] "It would appear as though you handled yourself quite well with your first match, Kazuki" smiled Taro. "I'm certain you would become this districts' champion, provided that you defeated me in the finals, of course". Taro was only teasing him and shook his hand, chuckling as he did. Congratulations were in order, but Taro didn't say much afterwards. He and Kazuki were wondering whether or not both Chizu and Kibuto were finished with their matches, too, and decided to look for them. Meanwhile, the Iwa-Nin, Issun Senshu, collapsed to the floor. He was heavily injured and required immediate medical attention. His eyes continually watching both Taro and Kazuki as they left the arena in search for the others. Whether or not he would exact revenge on Kazuki was unknown but him. And Kazuki felt a strange feeling he'd see him again. As the two searched for either of them Kazuki saw someone quite familiar. It was Chizu. She appeared concerned with something. Or rather, for someone. He knew immediately what was transpiring. "Kibuto's fighting". The battle however favored Kibuto as he immobilized his opponent with wind clones. Turning back to his sensei Kazuki was about to tell him Chizu was over by the entrance when he realized Taro had been looking up at something particular in the rooftops of the Kinenhi Coliseum. As Kazuki looked also he saw something out of the ordinary protruding and, a figure perhaps, watching closely at Kibuto's match. Or at something else, maybe. Shifting his gaze back to Taro the Jounin was gone, and Kazuki knew immediately where he went. Looking at the rooftops once more there were two figures now, and no doubt one of them was his sensei. Kazuki decided it was best to assist him and quickly made his way towards the rooftops. Running alongside the walls at an incredible speed Kazuki body flickered next to Taro, who had been speaking with the cloaked man. His attire seemed strange; long, dark and red cloak with black clouds, a red interior, and a chin-high collar. He also wore a blue happuri, a facial armor covering sides of his head, engraved with the Kirigakure emblem, but scratched over. A Missing-Nin. An S-Class Missing-Nin, it would seem, evidenced based on the carcasses of three Sentinels laying motionlessly close by. Dead. "And what do I owe this pleasure of meeting the famous Taro of Konoha and Kazuki Fukusawa. Or rather, Kazuki Kireidosu." "Careful," whispered Taro. "He is a member of the Remnants." "Forgive me, where are my manners these days. I am Shinobu Metsuki, formerly of Kirigakure and, as you say, member of the Remnants." Shinobu merely grins lightly. Their reputation as a criminal organization has fallen over the years. And there numbers decreased drastically several years ago and since then they remained hidden. He seemed surprised they were remembered at all and was thrilled to hear that they were not completely forgotten. ========================= [ Naoi Kaguwata ] "Dammit, Naoi!". Jinkaku was forcibly removed from his own mind, or at least away from controlling his own body, and replacing it with Naoi's instead. Naoi's body collapses, rendering it ultimately useless. The Arbiter, for a moment, pondered whether or not to declare Jinkaku as the victor from this match, but Jinkaku thought otherwise. Naoi, in Jinkaku's body, raised his left arm and shouted, "I forfeit!". The crowd is met with constant cheers, applause and boos. The Arbiter looks to his right, slowly catching on on what's happening between their match. He merely chuckled as he found out and raised one arm and spoke. "We have our winner! Naoi Kaguwata, ladies and gentleman, is victorious!" declared the Arbiter. The crowds' cheers deafens the entire arena after the conclusion of the match. And after being released from Naoi's technique, Jinkaku cursed himself for being forgetful of that particular jutsu of his, and that alone was his downfall. He collapses to his knees, slamming his fist onto the ground. I lost, he murmured, angry with himself. Jinkaku had long sought to win the Doutaini tournament and prove his worth. Kenji appeared beside him, comforting him and reassuring the boy this wasn't the end. As he did, Kenji nodded at Naoi for his victory and motioned him to move with a simple gesture of his hand. "Good..." Harumai uttered, happily. "I'm glad neither of you two got seriously injured." As Naoi approached Harumai and the stands meant for contenders, he felt a strange aura resonating from a boy standing next to him. His hair was blue and wore a short dark cloak. He was roughly around their age and something was odd about him and Naoi could tell. "This one looks promising," said the blue-haired boy. "I am Seigyoku, but you may call me Yoku for short. And I have a proposition for you, Naoi Kaguwata." Harumai also felt a strange feeling about the boy. He was different. And she couldn't help but feel nervous standing near him. "If we're to fight in the finals, let us wager something of value and whoever is the victor claims the prize. Does Ryo sound good to you?" ========================= [ Yuki Kishu ] Yuki and his adversary had only begun fighting and already his opponent was unleashing waves of powerful attacks. This isn't going to be easy, he thought, but I must prevail. His foe was a shinobi from Kirigakure and, judging by the mask his opponent wore, she was a Hunter-Nin. A special team within Kirigakure's ANBU whom are given the specific duty of hunting down Missing-Nin and are considered lethal in close-range combat. They are a powerful force not to be reckoned with and Kirigakure's finest, second only to the Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist. "Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. Huge amount of water gushes out and, slowly filling the entire arena, a gigantic wave forms that quickly makes its way towards Yuki. The Hunter-Nin channels chakra beneath her feet so she doesn't sink into the freezing water and preps her next line of attacks. And eventually the crushing waters approaches him and surrounds Yuki and has only seconds to make a dashing escape... "Got him." =========================
ListenToLife
"I abandoned that name a long time ago." Kazuki muttered, not looking at the Remnant. He merely sighed and watched Kibuto as his fight reached its climax. It was definitely going Kibuto's way, he had just unleashed a devastating combo. And Kazuki was about to smile, when Kibuto slowed for a second. Well, not even a second, more of a nano-second. Barely even noticable, but it was there. He had stopped, if only for a brief moment, and something had happened. At the same time, Kazuki had felt a small disturbance - again, barely noticable - but he recognised it all the same. Genjutsu. He thought, confused and impressed by the act, for it meant they were at least close to him in skill - and impressive feat. Kazuki frowned, before turning back to the Remnant, no hatred in his eyes, but rather an expression of slight disdain and contempt. "Leave. This is not the place for you people, not now." Kazuki stated, emotion lacking in his voice. His eyes looked past the Remnant, as if he was not there, and was instead searching around. Someone had matched him in Genjutsu. And that was worrying. After being unable to even detect a slightest glimmer of chakra or genjutsu, he turned his concentration onto Shinobu, though his gaze still seemed a bit distant. Kōsuke Ueki
Kibuto could not grasp what has been said to him, but now wasn't the time. It was time to finish the battle and make sure make sure he advances to the next round. By spreading his feet out slightly, he quickly acted as soon as the wind began to dim down and make the Kiri-Nin descend to a decent level to finish him off. He then proceeded to do a low spin kick when the enemy's feet was close to the ground. And once he did it, leaves began to appear around the wind circle Kibuto made after dowing the low spin kick. He then did a mid spin kick that began to make the enemy spin very quickly. Kibuto then finally does a high kick to his chin, knocking the enemy up higher into the air that he already was, while saying, "Great Leaf Whirlwind!". Kibuto then disappeared from the ground, and reappeared just above the Kiri-Nin, smirking. He then does a somersault that leads up to a devastating kick to the enemy's head, making the enemy crash to the ground with slight tremor to the ground. He then landed safely, but was panting a little. He couldn't believe it worked. He hoped that this would be it, the last thing he'd have to do in order to achieve victory. But, the thoughts about him being the actual Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki, were they real? Or is it some plan by the mysterious being to purposely get himself killed? He can only hope neither... TotalObelisk
Still blinded by the flash technique Kasumi was taken completely by surprise as her opponent announced his next technique and already charging at her opponent and had no time to react before she was hit by the wave of water summoned by her opponent. For a moment Kasumi lost all sense of direction as she was tossed about in the wave before being slammed into the opposite wall of their arena, the wave finally calming down. It took Kasumi a moment or two to get her bearings as she floated in the water, finally emerging from the surface and panting for breath. The wave had managed to knock the wind out of her but it seemed to have reversed the effects of her blindness as well and she could see her opponent on the other side of the coliseum, if he didn’t have his back turned he could probably have easily finished her off with one of his lightning jutsu, as he was now however he had simply given Kasumi the perfect set up to finish him off instead. “Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique,” Thick white mist began to rise from the water the Kumo-nin had flooded the arena with, obscuring vision. This was Kasumi’s element and she was master within it. Her mist Katar returned to her hand as she appeared behind her opponent through the fog and lunging at her opponent to deliver the finishing blow. Champster
========================= [ Kibuto Karanime ] Landing with a tremendous impact from Kibuto's arsenal of attacks Soshaku didn't move at all once the smoke and debris cleared. No, he couldn't. The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist was knocked out and unconscious. The victor between their match was Kibuto and was met with the roaring cheers and applause from the audiences. He had successfully secured his position within the tournament and would advance onto the finals. "We have our winner! Number 12, ladies and gentlemen, is victorious!" declared the Arbiter. Chizu was relieved. Watching Kibuto fight wasn't easy, but she appeared glad that that he was alright. And a winner, no less. However she could tell that Kibuto was distraught from simply looking at his face. Something was wrong. And as he approached her she couldn't help but ask why. "Are you alright? What's wrong?" She was curious to know his answer, and simply remained quiet so he could explain. His mouth opened, but before he could even utter a single word, he saw someone quite familiar now standing beside Chizu. A renowned person within Konohagakure and its very leader; the Hokage. "Nicely done, Kibuto," smiled Hashimaru. "I thoroughly enjoyed your match with Soshaku Hyouketsu. I hear he was the Seven Swordsmen's second best." "Hokage-Sama!" Chizu exclaimed, bowing immediately to show her respects. And before Kibuto could ask why he was here, of all places, he is told to follow him in order to discuss something secretly and urgent. Given no choice the three of them, Chizu as well, left the arena stands where they walked a narrow hallway until they approached a door that led to an empty room. And within this said room was a hidden door beneath the ground that would lead them all to a secret dungeon used by Konoha-Nin and them only. With a simple word, "Kai!" the hidden door opened. Chizu was amazed this was here and had no idea what this was about. Perhaps it had something to do with the Genjutsu Kibuto was placed in. As they approached the ending stairs that led them downwards, both Kibuto and Chizu saw the unimaginable. A large dungeon and at the end of it was the giant Black Gates of "Jigoku" that had a marked seal with the word "Forbidden" engraved in the center. "Do either of you know this place?" Hashimaru asked. "I-Impossible. Is-... is this for r-real? The Black Gates of Jigoku, h-here?!" Chizu stuttered, somewhat feeling frightened at the mere sight of those gates. But more importantly, what was resting behind them. "But that was just a superstitious rumor..." "Unfortunately, it is no rumor. Behind these gates is the greatest danger the entire Shinobi World ever faced; The Mugen Army. After the Great War ended the Kinenhi Coliseum was built solely to imprison these abominations. Hence its impenetrable walls, the Black Gates of Jigoku is left unguarded. And for 35 years none have been successful at breaching them." "You mean there were actual people trying open these gates?" "Yes, there were some. And what I am about to tell you must be kept in absolute secrecy, and only a select few know of this. But before I do this wasn't the only reason why I brought you two down here. Tell me, Kibuto, what did you see. You saw something during your battle, of this I am sure of. What happened?" ========================= [ Kazuki Fukusawa ] Shinobu's grin fades. His presence here at the tournament was obviously not welcomed. And the three Sentinels laying dead nearby was proof of that. "What a nuisance." he thought, irritably. He was annoyed to of been caught once more and, quite easily too, displayed no emotion of it. Agitated, Taro had his right hand hidden within his sleeve and held a kunai just in case, but Kazuki could easily see it. And knew immediately on what to do if something went terribly wrong. The Remnant was a skilled individual and the two of them could tell. Killing Shinobu, even attempting to capture him, would prove quite difficult. For now, anyway. "Am I intruding?" Shinobu questioned, rhetorically. "I didn't mean to do so. I assure you my reason for being here is much like everyone else's: To watch the Doutaini tournament unfold. I have no intention of interrupting or anything involving something... sinister." Taro and Kazuki, of course, weren't buying his ruse. The Remnant was here for a reason and his intentions involved someone here or perhaps nearby. Otherwise he wouldn't of gone through the trouble of infiltrating the Kinenhi Coliseum and, heavily guarded by Sentinels, killing three of their members -- Whom were most likely just grunts and the lowest of their ranks. And judging from the state and position of there bodies a Genjutsu technique was used on them before either of them were killed. "These poor gentlemen you see were pestering me and, unfortunately, they gave me no choice but to retaliate. Forgive me if my actions here were a bit too drastic." "Regardless of your intentions, you are an enemy of the Alliance. Remove yourself from this place or else we'll have to." "Interesting," Shinobu uttered. "Despite our very short confrontation I was able to gather a lot of information from the two of you. And information, as you know, is quite invaluable to me. You might even say I consider it as a currency." "What are you plotting at?" Taro questioned. "But I digress. Since you're both here now, I'm quite curious to know something," he paused for a moment. His gaze returned back to the arena down below, searching, before continuing, "I'd appreciated if you two could possibly tell me where I could find a female named Chizu. I believe she belongs to your village of Konoha and her last name is Uzumaki." Narrowing his eyes quickly Taro was certain Chizu was now in danger. She was their target and he would make sure nothing happened to her. "Tell you what. In exchange for information regarding her whereabouts, looks, likes, dislikes, personality and et cetera, I will give you something in return. What do you think is a reasonable price? The location of our Hideout? About the Ninshu Order, perhaps? Maybe the Hakumei organization? Or is there someone you'd like to know even better? Their deepest secrets, perhaps? I assure you my knowledge of these things are quite accurate and I have no reason of lying." ========================= [ Kasumi Harukara ] ========================= [ Naoi Kaguwata ] The boy named Seigyoku, or Yoku as he preferred, grinned at the thought. Normally, during the Chuunin Exams, they would have to wait a full month until the finals would even begin so that they could come fully prepared for their opponents. But when one is held at the Kinenhi Coliseum, where they were all currently at, it is absolutely necessary to advance onto the final phase of the exams. "You alright, Jinkaku?" Kenji asked. But the boy did not answer and instead fled the arena to be alone. Concerned, Kenji sighed and immediately went after him to console him. "Harumai Hyuuga and Seigyoku Tenma! Please step forth in the center of the arena and face your opponent! You will commence combat when I give you the signal!" announced the Arbiter. The third match of the Chuunin Exams was starting and it was Naoi's teammate versus his strange adversary. Hopefully, Naoi thought, Harumai will succeed. Called to step forward Harumai seemed anxious from doing so, let alone fight Yoku. But swallowing up her fear for the very first time, she proceeded onward to the center. She was inspired by Naoi with his battle earlier and would do her best to win. And as much as he hated the thought Naoi would be able to gather information regarding Yoku's battle tactics if she lost in this. Provided that she did, of course. Then, the Arbiter signaled the two to start fighting with a simple gesture of his hand. "Forbidden Release: Shroud of Darkness." What came after these words was a mysterious mist that formed around Yoku which then began to slowly spread, forcing Harumai to active the Hyuuga clans most esteemed technique. "Byakugan!" Yoku, though hidden from view, extended his arm which in turn allowed the mist to spread even further and faster, consuming Harumai in the process. The crowd grew silent, ever watchful at the unknown shroud of darkness filling the arena. And Naoi felt the same aura that was resonating from Yoku with the strange mist. Whatever it was it seemed to keep its distance from everyone else but Harumai and the Arbiter. Suddenly, a scream was heard within the cloud and Naoi knew immediately it belonged to his teammate, Harumai. He dashed forward, stopping just before entering the radius of the shroud and first raised his arm at shoulder height quickly thrusting his hand until it was completely enveloped. "Argh!" Naoi screamed, and withdrew his hand. "This thing... It drains chakra from you." The shroud soon disappears, revealing Harumai had collapsed on the ground and was unconscious. Her chakra, nearly all of it, was drained from her. The Arbiter however was spared from the shrouds effect and reluctantly declares Yoku as the winner. And there is confusion in the crowd. "W-We have our winner! L-Ladies and gentlemen, Seigyoku Tenma, is victorious!". "I look forward to our match, Naoi Kaguwata." Yoku grinned, sinisterly, as he walked passed him. ========================= [ Yuki Kishu ] "Storm Release?!" she exclaimed. The crushing waves collided with the small-like storm of hurricane Yuki created, thus stopping it in the process. But not entirely. Both techniques used against them damaged each other, the storm electrocuting her and the waves enveloping him. The Hunter-Nin nearly collapses but manages to pull herself from falling and stands firm. Yuki meanwhile is washed away a couple of feet from the slightly full force of the waves and abruptly stands up afterwards once he is able to take his footing, drawing a shuriken as he does. And after hearing his so-called taunts, she merely did nothing but scoff. They were trained assassins, their emotions discarded for the sole purpose of eliminating comrades if they ever turned traitors. Still, she couldn't help but feel distraught by him. The Storm Release, she muttered, this boy will pose a problem if I let this continue. "We Hunter-Nin of Kirigakure aren't liked very much. And I can understand why. Our only purpose in life is to hunt our traitorous allies and eliminate them. They carry important information, you see. And we, the Alliance, still have secrets that are best kept hidden from others to prolong this false peace. But my role here is much like everyone else's; to seek recognition. But mine slightly differs from yours. I am here to establish and ensure the Hunter-Nin are not to be reckoned with! And I will not succumb to a mere insolent child!" With that, the Hunter-Nin finishes her strings of hand seals and roars at the top of her lungs. "Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique!!!" The water shifts and changes, formng into that of a large shark, which then hurtles its way towards Yuki. =========================
Kōsuke Ueki
Kibuto was silent. He had so much on his mind regarding what has been told to him and Chizu. It seemed so hard to believe. And on top of that, his match was interrupted by a Genjutsu-wielding silhouette that spoke of him being the Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki. His head was down, and his face remained neutral. He sighed, and tried to build up the courage to speak. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He didn't know as to what to say about his experience. His doubts of anything told to him in that Genjutsu have given him conflicting feelings and opinions within his own psyche to the point in which he doesn't even know what to believe anymore. However, he was able to pull through, and began to speak his mind. "I-I was...just about to...finish the match...when I got caught in a Genjutsu." he began. "I was very close to breaking it, until, some figure, or a silhouette of one, told me of something, that I still can't grasp. He not only knew me more than anyone, but..." His voice then croaked up, like he couldn't keep going. He then took a deep breath, and told the one thing that would drastically change how people think of him. "I am the one who will bring consequence to the Hidden Leaf..." He couldn't say anymore.
Cherz
Naoi freaked out. "Damn it, Yoku!" He called a medic over. He told the medical nin her chakra was drained. After doing so, he chased down Yoku. He followed Yoku from afar, until no one was around. He cauht up to Yoku in a heart beat. As if he was the wind, he was directly iin front of yoku. "Tell me what you did to harumei! I want answers!" He preped his antlion jutsu incase Yoku didnt think about answering. He again demanded answers. "Also, what is this forrbidden jutsu and how did you learn it?! Think twice about lieng." Naoi said in a furiouse tone.He had finished the curse seals, and if Yoku had tried anything, he would use the jutsu. Naoi now had just wondered, where was Jinkaku, where was Kenji. Yuki endured a painful shot to the gut by the shark bullet and got up a little weary. He knew that he couldn’t do the storm style again because the tracker Nin would read it. Yuki did a quick survey of terrain, did a furry of hand signs, and shouted “Wind release petal dust dance!” He threw the shuriken armed in to the tornado and also took out his other 2 shuriken’s in his pouch and threw them in to the mix. He hoped that the dust would stun her enough for him to go into some tijutsu. He grinned to himself. “Once she gets caught in my tornado, she is going to get diced by my shurikens” Yuki thought to himself.
ListenToLife
Kazuki watched as the match down in the Colosseum finished - Kibuto emerging the unsurprising victor - and grinned as he watched Kibuto walk away from the dust cloud; feeling quite happy that he might face his team-mate in the finals. Kibuto's expression was grave though, and as such concerned Kazuki, causing him to wonder what had happened during that split second Genjutsu. He shook his head and turned back to face Shinobu, He noticed out of the corner of his eye, Taro-sensei holding a Kunai behind his back, and as such 'moved' his chakra, preparing it for the no-doubt eminent battle. He was more concerned now as he looked towards the dead bodies, and more specifically, the way they lay and what that suggested as their method of death. "You're a very talent Genjutsu user it seems, to evade my detection." Kazuki muttered, not really bothered if Shinobu heard or not. He looked up as Shinobu mentioned Chizu, tensing for a moment before grinning and lowering his face, so as to cover his eyes with his hair. "Ah, well my sir Shinobu. If you consider knowledge currency...." Kazuki started, before blurring and appearing about 2 foot to the left of Shinobu, his eyes glowing and electric blue and staring coldly into Shinobu's eyes, able to insight instant fear into most foes. "....then you're going home poor. Fear my Shikra!" He cried, confident that the power of his eyes would paralyze this foe.
