Please, read the first chapter! [spoiler=Chapter 1] Lee steadily walked through the open Hong Kong streets. The sun lit up the new red and gold temple buildings around him. The trees swayed back and forth with the gentle breeze that the Hong Kong summer would offer. Lee could taste the bitter-salty sweat drops that ran down from his forehead.“How dare you say that!” a nasty screech of anger could be heard from the left-hand side of the road.“How dare you insinuate that I would want to sleep with you, pervert!”Lee jolted his head to the left of the road, Lee couldn’t make out the figures, and Lee treaded a little closer... his robe and sashes now clung to his wet body. Lee could begin to make out the figures, still walking carefully toward the two figures. A man in a black uniform stood before Lee. He wore a golden badge with the Chinese markings ‘警方’, meaning ‘Police’, engraved into it. He stood tall and had a ferocious look on his face; he looked down, sneering at the woman. All of a sudden the man began to chuckle and the chuckle quickly broke into a laugh. “Come here!” the Policeman said grabbing the woman by the arm. A huge right-handed slap went across the Policeman’s face.“You’re gonna regret that jabroni” Lee could take no more. The policeman raised his hand and formed a fist. Lee dashed in front of the Policeman and started pleading him to stop what he was doing. The Policeman continued his assault now on Lee; the Policeman brought his fist down with brute strength, aiming directly at Lee’s face, Lee open his hands up and tucked his right hand just before his chest and pushed his left hand out into the air so it lined up with his face. The policeman punched! Lee smacked the Policeman’s leading hand’s wrist to the left and quickly positioned himself to the left of the Policeman’s body, still holding onto the left wrist Lee quickly pulled the Policeman towards himself while he was off-balance, and the policeman came hurtling down to Lee’s height. Lee cocked his right hand and SMASHED it into the policeman’s face.Lee opened his eyes in full realization of what had just happened. With no other alternative Lee turned around and began sprinting for his life. The Policeman quickly followed Lee. Lee dashed through the streets of Hong Kong, through all the hustle-and-bustle and into the backstreets and over the backstreet fences. Lee dared not to look back out of sheer fear that it would slow him down. Lee raced until he was through the Elementary School gates. Lee broke into a fast walk while in the building; he walked over to the school’s receptionist. “E-excuse me, Miss”The receptionist peeked over the morning registration files, and readjusted her half-moon glasses so that they were settled comfortably on her beaky nose. She gave a slight nod, acknowledging she had heard Lee.“It’s my first day here. I, uh, I don’t know what class I’m supposed to be in”“Name” the receptionist asked bluntly“Lee, Lee Han” he replied“Lee... Lee Han” she repeated as she picked up some papers and flicked through them. “Ah yes! Lee Han. You’re 20 minutes late, room 2E; you’ll have to explain to your teacher why you are late.” Lee nodded and walked away briskly, Lee quickly returned to reception. The receptionist peaked over her papers once more. “That way” she said, gesturing to the left, Lee walked off to the left. Walking past a small classroom Lee saw his reflection in the door’s square window. Lee quickly straightened out his black silk robes and matted down his jet-black hair. His eyes were a small, restless and sharp black and his complexion and colour matched that of a fresh autumn leaf. Lee was of a small, thin build and he wasn’t particularly athletic. Lee walked up to the room 2E which had the name “Miss Wei” printed on it. Lee knocked before entering. “Enter” a voice crowed from inside the room.“Sorry I’m late Miss Wei” Lee said“Please explain” Miss Wei said bluntly“I got stopped by a Policeman”Miss Wei chuckled, “Oh? Explain why”“He... He wanted to know why I was late for school” Lee said“So, regardless, you would have been late, had it been 5 or 20 minutes, late is late!”“Sorry Miss”Miss Wei paced up and down the room. “Introduce yourself” she said, Lee did not question;“My name is Lee Han... I am 12 and from the East of Hong Kong”, murmurs came from around the class, questioning the name Han. One or two small voices began “Han, isn’t that-” “The famous clan-” “I’ve heard of them”. Lee bit his tongue and looked up at Miss Wei, she smirked at him, knowing about his clan and how they made their living. “In this day and age of China fighting is most uncouth” Miss Wei jeered, “Now! Take your seat!” The end of the school day could not have come fast enough for Lee. Lee set out on his journey back home before he was stopped by a large-set boy. The boy had a mean, arrogant look on his face and a little pig nose. He had seen this boy around. The other children called him ‘Pug’.“Watch who you talk to in this school, we don’t like the likes of you around here...”This boy seemed awfully confident for one who knew that his parents were mercenaries for a living. Lee glared back at the boy and pushed his way past.
