Dorian touched one of his facedowns and stood it up revealing to be the countertrap the Huge Revolution is Over. [color=#ff8c00]"Sorry new friend but this card negates your heavy storm. You don't think I would set so much and not have any protection."[/color] Dorian looked on as his fathers hologram system projected the majestic blue creature in a miniature light. [color=#ff8c00]"Aww its so cute well I can't kill it so I guess I'll just trigger this other trap call Magic Thorn and with it each time you discard a card you take 500 points of damage so that being said the monster you attack is...drum roll please.."[/color] Dorian pauses as he flips his monster and it is of course Morphing Jar. As the blue fox like wolf creature smashes the face and black face launches at Emily. [color=#ff8c00]"Now we discard our whole hands and draw 5 new cards. Oh and thanks to my thorn you take 1500 points of damage."[/color] Thorns launch themselves from the the trap card at Emily but they stop and wrap around a floating lifepoint counter squeezing it. Dorian draws his five new cards and has a smile on his face. Time to begin the game.

She was about to make a move, when she heard what Dorian said about Leon and tears filled her eyes - [color=#ff0066]"...W-W-What? He has a....he can't have a girlfr..." [/color]- more tears formed in her eyes, but Emily managed to stay calm - [color=#ff0066]"Who...H-How d-do you know...? Who...is she?" [/color]- Emily looked down, and tears started dropping on the table. She set 2 card silently and a monster, and made a head gesture for Dorian to take his turn.

And that was what Dorian wanted to see...despair as her tears flowed Dorian did drew his card and put on his best relaxing voice. [color=#ff8c00]"Oh her name is Amber and don't worry about her I think she is totally bad for him...In fact I think she has like three separate boyfriends including your friend Leon. So lets see, I'll activate my continuous trap Metal Reflect Slime and with it, this trap becomes a monster with 0 attack and 3000 def.[/color] The trap flipped up and a metallic ooze came from the card and then solidified on table and took shape of a mace.[color=#ff8c00] Oh don't cry It must be hard coming from humble means and being thrust into this big place devious people are all around and us boys...well we're simple creatures. For example watch my simple strategy.[/color] Dorian put on a light smile in attempts to make the girl happy. I summon Maruading Captain and with his effect I can summon Necro Gardna from my hand. To miniature warriors appeared on the table. [color=#ff8c00]Now I activate the spell card Galaxy Queen's Light and it I choose one level 7 or higher monster on my side of the field and every monster on my side of the field becomes that level. So now I choose my level 10 Metal Reflect Slime and marauding and necro gardna are now level 10 so I conduct and overlay network with my three monsters. Now lets get all shiny with my Super-Dimensional Robo-Galaxy Destroyer. [/color]The three monster disappear into the overlay network and the giant (yet miniature on the table) mech stands tall with three circles surrounding him. Dorian takes this second to monologue as butler has already handed him a towel for the girl to wash her face.

[color=#ff8c00]You know I like crying. You get to expel so much energy and afterwards you ready to get on with your life. So cry all you want, get it out of your system, for when you're done you're going to have to make a decision.[/color] Dorian motions to his big D-Robo and pulls his necro gardna from the stack. I[color=#ff8c00] activate his ability to destroy your back cards and you can't respond to this little effect here[/color]. The large mech readies his cannon that he seemed to materialize out of nowhere and one of the circling balls of light goes into the barrel.[color=#ff8c00] I need you to decided whether or not you are going to fight for this boy or not. I am a particular fan of this Amber girl I feel she represents humanities more... promiscuous side. She claimed your friend in only 3 days I know grifters who would kill for that skill. I much rather prefer you someone who has put the time and effort into doing something instead of just getting it handed to you.[/color] Galaxy Destroyer fires his cannon at Emily's spell and trap cards destroying them and then he takes aim at Aokami. Dorian hands Emily the towel to wipe her face. [color=#ff8c00]So tell me what's your decision?[/color] As he says decision Galaxy Destroyer fires at Aokami.

And also, Mr D-Dorian..." [/color]- tears were still rushing from Emily's eyes, and she was red as Mystic Tomato - [color=#ff0066]"T-Thank y-y-you. F-For letting me know..."[/color]

And there it was victory and it didn't come with strong overpowering monster it came with simple words. He took in a breathe as he his monster was veilered and subsequently had its attack negated. A breathe of elation as this little creature was now the raw material to take out goggle slut. [color=#ff8c00]Well I am befuddled, my attack has been foiled so I must maintain some hand conservation and end my turn. Oh look the tea is ready. Butler will take care of that. Now a proper lady must be calm in all situations so while its okay to loose your cool here since we are friends but you must appear calm and collected in the face of the enemy. You know never let'em see you sweat and all that jazz. Now I believe it is your turn."[/color] Dorian's tone switched from one who relaxes to one who motivates.[color=#ff8c00] Now take your turn, bring forth a comeback, and smite all who would get in your way. And to symbolize our friendship I will stand by you as you claim what is yours.[/color]

Ever since Rai had been struck by that lightning months ago and damaged his overall body, his hair had been mutated and constantly stuck up. At first he didn't mind, but now that there was a banquet coming where all the finalists would gather - including Amber - he wanted to look his best. Unfortunately, the comb clanged against his hair like it was made of metal. He kept trying to put it through, but instead he ended up denting the whole comb. Then he went through another one. And other one. None of them would work.

At last, he just gave up.

He knew what he would be wearing for it, a black and yellow suit. The idea doesn't seem appealing at first, but Rai had grown to like it. Black shirt, black trousers, yellow tie, yellow tuxedo. A stunning end result.

Rai sighed and shook his head. Ever since 77 appeared, he had returned to a state similar to when he was being possessed by 91, only with the added amplification of his score with Amber. He couldn't tell whether it had always been there, or whether 77 was just amplifying his most insignificant emotion. It was kind of stupid, since he and her had known each other for less than an hour.

The vortex imploded, and from inside rose a giant piece of artillery, with the two materials roaming around the tip of its gun (3000/3000) - [color=#ff0066]"Super-Dreadnought Gun Turret Train - Gustav Max! And h-his effect can detach 1 material and...you take 2000 damage." [/color]- the blue material entered the cannon, and shot a blue burst of energy that impacted on Dorian - [color=#ff0066]"And now...I activate Riryoku. I halve the ATK of Robo, and Gustav gains that same amount."[/color]

[color=#ff0066]"With 5500 ATK I attack your 2500 ATK Robo! Gustav Shell!"[/color] - the machine shot a giant mortar shell that also hit Dorian. -[color=#ff0066] "Tee hee hee. Good game?"[/color]

Dorian looked as the giant gun fired at his lifepoints as he smiled while his life was now at half he looked on as his opponent proceeded to attack. Now of course he had outs, his facedowns were game changers, but more obvious necro gardna was on the top of his graveyard. All that being said he decided that one small defeat would lead to much greater victory. [color=#ff8c00]"Oh wow I don't have a counter for that I guess that means I have to take the L on this one."[/color]The bullet fired through Robo destroying it and Dorian's lifepoints. [color=#ff8c00]Good game indeed you sure did pull quite the comeback there. Well it seems like your tea is ready...and more importantly so are you. So I have intruded on your space long enough I'll go nurse the wounds of my defeat for they hurt so badly..." [/color]He said trying to make a light joke [color=#ff8c00]"and if you need anything here is my number and I stay in room 808 right above you."[/color] Butler layes a tea cup and saucer right in front of Emily and in the saucer is a card with Dorian's information. Butler proceeds to turn off the duel system and packs everything in a suit case and heads for the door. "[color=#ff8c00]I hope to hear from you soon."[/color] Dorian said with a friendly smile as he made his way to the door.

Once Dorian and Butler made there way back their room Butler had to ask the obvious questions.

[color=#ff8c00]Don't you know Butler the whole purpose of the visit was to make a new friend and my Life Balancers don't do that very well. Also I forgot about those extras until I saw you wearing that same oversized coat indoors so I thought why not. The first hand was sweet for a collection of extras. But now we wait as our new friend Emily should be making contact with Leon at some point. I do wonder how far Shark boy and Goggle girl have gotten since this tournament started. Oh this is entertaining.[/color]Dorian laid back in his bed and proceeded to simply watch TV and wait for Emily to take action.

Amber looked to Leon and the others, and then back to Josep and sighed. She really didn't want to leave a friend alone knowing the pain he must have been feeling. Amber walked over to Josep and gave him a sincere smile and a friendly hug.

Amber wasn't sure if she had worded that right, but it was the best she could think of to say it. She looked over to her other friends and said [b]"Let's go on ahead you guys..."[/b]

Amber and company then began walking down the road towards the Arcade, which wasn't too far from the restaurant maybe a few blocks or so.

Josep looked over at Amber and tried to give a smile. "oh,sure thing..." he said as he held his stomach, faking pains as he stood still to let them pass, but as she hugged him, he could swear he felt Zebulos' presence, his more then her other Numbers since he was so connected to her, and as they hugged Zebulos, saw a face, shrouded in darkness but with a roar that could make mountains topple over, it's eyes dead and unforgiving, it's face zoomed out and revealed it to span nearly the whole sky, under it, an ancient world, now laying in ruins.

The beast looked down at the humans fighting against it, they all raised tablets with a wave of their hand, and from it, monster's appeared, one could not tell who was in the right in battle, but while the Sky Beast was menacing, it did not kill the humans, it simply absorbed their monsters, releasing the humans from their control...or so it seemed, the monsters looked as if they were defending their humans, some did not, but the beast was indiscriminate, it ate as many as it could, and from it's dark body 6 great Dragons flew down and bombarded the enemies.

This was a warning to Zebulos, a recreation of a battle long since past, when he looked at one of the creatures that had been defeated by a Dragon, it had an etching on it's shoulder, at first difficult to see, but then afterward, the marking gained a strange glow, a Number, much like his own, but the monster's figure did not exist, it was a generic shadow, it allowed Zebulos to place himself where it lay, and it was not a pretty sight.

A battle, long ago between the Dragon Lords and the Numbers, but this Sky beast...what was it's intentions? why collect Numbers by absorbing them, would that not be impossible, would that not corrode a normal monster? maybe it's shear might was more then enough, or maybe there was more to it, the beast looked down at Zebulos himself and roared, it's voice echoing to all Numbers in Heartland city, a declaration:

The voice died out long before the Numbers could even notice they had been called, no Number Holder could hear this voice, but their Numbers were left with the thought in their head. There was however one human that had heard, leaving him with a grin on his face, the message was given to him, as a calling card, Tron.

Back in the real world however, Josep looked dazed until Seth spoke to him, all he could do was nod, and fake another smile.....

Through the World Duel Carnival that have been thousands of duelists from the far corners of the world, all competing to make it to the finals. Heartland had been overflown with duels left and right, from rooftops, to cafes, to the streets and more; you couldn't go to far without running into a participant. Within the Heartland Arcade was a perfect example of this, one of the city's local children had challenged a strange looking duelist from outside of the country.

The child's field was quite barren compared to his opponent's, the foreigner on the other hand had a field covered with face down spell and trap cards and a giant white fairy floated over the field. The fairy's body was spherical, with thin arms and legs sticking out of the body along with a majestic set of wings. "So child, do you regret challenging me now? You cannot possibly make it by my Herald of Perfection and my array of backrows." The foreigner smirked, the kid was going to be his easy path to a completed frame.

Demetri had been new to the country and Heartland was, in actuality, his first city away from home. He had grown up studying within his family's mansion and didn't know many people outside of his maids, tutors, and parents. His free time was mostly spent perfecting his deck and learning Duel Monsters, which is why it didn't come as a surprise when the young man had no problems striking down his opposition with his negation style of playing. The Heralds of Perfection had brought him most of his wins already in the tournament, and when they couldn't finish the job, his ace in the hole, Number 47 Adonis, Vision of Perfection, had easily ended his opposition without issue.

"I'll have my Herald of Perfection attack, since you have nothing to stop it I'll just take another eighteen hundred point chunk out of your lifepoints!" The kid was simply speechless as a giant orb of light shot from the fairy and covered him in a bright, white light. The game was simply another eighteen hundred points away from being over, and Demetri was one step away from finishing his Heart Frame.

As Amber and company walked towards the Arcade, Amber noticed that Zebulos had been awfully quiet.

Zebulos didn't answer her, as he was stuck on the horrors that he had just seen when Amber hugged Josep. He wasn't particularly worried about his own well being, he had no previous memory of a war between Dragons, and numbers... At least.. that's what he thought the conflict was anyway... But he remembered EVERY word that giant sky beast said..

That was what it had said.. but what did it mean by "Hearts of Darkness", Zebulos wondered... Zebulos had absolutely no memory of this ancient conflict, but perhaps "metamorphosis" would explain that.. it was possible the number on his shoulder once belonged to another. That didn't bother him as much as the conflict itself.. he knew that his holder would be force to be a part of it.. And he feared that if anything happened to him, that Amber would suffer because of it.. He wasn't even sure that she would survive since they were so connected. He new that if Amber felt pain, he would too, but he wasn't sure if the reverse was true or not... Zebulos was also worried about this guard it spoke of.. Zebulos knew off the bat it had to be Josep... Then there was his dear Sonya... If anything ever happened to her... He wouldn't be able to live with himself... He sat there with the most concerned face he could ever muster, Star saw this and knew why he was so upset.

Zebulos looked to Sonya in a state of concern. Sonya remembers such a horrible thing...? Would she be able to tell him if he was ever there to begin with..? He also started to doubt his identity as a number.. Was he the original 93...? Or was he a replacement or imposter of the original 93...? In hind site he figured it didn't really matter who he was in the past.. He was who he was now, and he had a destiny to face. He just hoped that if there was a way to alter the events so that no one would have to be hurt.. that opportunity would show itself to him and or the others. He at the very least wanted to keep Sonya, Amber and his other friends safe.. Perhaps even Josep could be freed from this beast's grasp. It would has seemed that Galaxy Queen has memory of what happened as well. they had to have at least survived if they were still here after all these years..

Zebulos hugged Sonya, and as he did he suddenly felt of flood of memories flooding his mind. He saw Sonya's young cheery smile and it was clear that he was already close to her, though maybe just as friends. He couldn't see his own face of course, but that didn't matter. She looked happy.. but then he saw a moment in the battle, where 93 and Sonya were fighting side by side trying to defend their masters at the time.. His master was a young woman, who looked vaguely similar to Amber, but she didn't seem quite as brave as Amber.. His master and Sonya's master were seemed close as well as they held each other. Then.. All of the sudden 93 hears Sonya crying out to him as the beast was trying to take her away in effort to devour her. Zebulos heard himself say as he said aloud so that other numbers could hear...

Dorian was grew somewhat impatient after returning to his room and wondered why did his new friend not call him? Of course hysteria can mutter ones thoughts and priorities so this shouldn't be so odd. He figured she might have done something and left to go meet the boy fortunately Amber and Co. already stated their plans in the registration line so he technically go to the Chinese food place or arcade everyone was at and watch the fireworks but his presence would be much to disruptive. In fact there was another way...Time to call Daddy.

Seconds later at the arcade where Amber and Co. are located certain electronics started to flicker only for a second but they did flash. The all of the places security cameras flickered for a quick second. At the end Schrodder Corp. with its elaborate team of hackers had control over all of the security cameras in the arcade but the regular employees watching the cameras would not be able to tell the difference. It would simply appear as a glitch in the system. And of course all of this was being streamed to Dorian so he and Butler could listen in on Amber and Co.

As the phone hung up Dorian in a weird act of generosity summoned all of his numbers, after letting Butler hold one, and his extra deck duel spirits. The room was filled with all sorts of oddities and creatures as everyone watched the big screen T.V. in Dorian's suite. The new program came at the tail end of the true battle conversation where Zebulous gets and explanation of the origins of No. 93. Dorian, Anansi and Co. look to Illumiknight as to ascertain what in the world he is talking about.

Emily frowned a bit when Amber said to be Leon's girlfriend. She then pulled her best fake smile together, and waved back at her - [color=#ff0066]"Oh, you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend! It's n-nice to meet you, Amber, and everybody. Can I ask what are you guys doing here?"[/color]

Ashika got down from her lion and bowed to the other Numbers - [color=#ff8c00]"I'm Number 13, Spirit of Love. You can call me Ashika. I'm Aemilia's Number. So you two belong to Amber? And...Leon? He wasn't supposed to have a Number..."[/color]

Emily walked away for a bit, with the excuse of having to call someone. She grabbed her phone and texted Dorian.

Dorian and Co. are sitting back and watching events unfold and they watch as Zebby and the lion riding number make words. Laughter is heard as this scenario is being compared to Reality TV shows. Everyone then watches Emily leave and hear's her reason and like an organised march they all look at Dorian's phone on the table. Butler grabs it and hands it to Dorian of course being the nosy spirits they are everyone quickly sees through Dorian's eyes and reads the message.

However there was no ridicule everyone seemed to prefer Emily over Amber anyway so this was only another plus.

The monster were slightly afraid of this Dorian. It is typical for him to look down on people because of their class but to this degree is somewhat exciting. Everyone turned back to the T.V. to see what was next. Dorian does however hate not responding to texts so he just sent one back.
