Looking at the others makes him smile, while he had been alone for so long he had forgotten what it was like to be around other people, of course he still felt uneasy about everything, but for one night, none of it would get ti him....Numbers or not, he wanted to experience fun one last time. "I'll have the Orange Chicken and a large cola.....I don't drink even if I'm old enough,stuff tastes terrible honestly....I get enough tongue burning from the caffeine...." he said as he looked at the wine bottle being brought in. Amber said trying to consider Josep's feelings. then when she got her food, she settled down and grabbed some chopsticks, and started eating her meal as politely as she could.

Josep did look down on the subject of Numbers, he liked that Amber had tried making him feel better, but not at the idea of making Leon feel bad...but he was drunk, so it didn't matter..... "oh the shop owner? well, when I was little...I gave him my piggy bank to open this shop.....he's thanked me ever since, so normally I eat free, but today they need some kind of business and whatnot.....I wouldn't want to deprive a man of that." he said as he started getting into his chicken "I haven't had this chicken in months...." he took a bit and his face could barely hold in his smile from how good it tasted. "whew, best chinese in all of heartland. "he gloated wo that people outside would hear and hopefully add business.

Oh well my Zenmaister is the sacrifice for me to defeat you,”[/b][/color] James commented with no care for his former signature. Atsuko watches as a thunderbolt hits the machine, causing it to begin sparking as a voice in Atsuko's earpiece yells [color=#8b4513]"We...longer ha-...-ontrolle-...-verload!..-o i-...now!"[/color] Sadly, Atsuko never got the chance to do what she was supposed to do, as Aivea slammed her into the wall of a building. She groaned, and grinned in pain. [color=#FF0000]"This."[/color] She quickly placed a golden bracelet-like mechanism around Aivea's right hand, revealing she had a similar mechanism on her own right hand. The machine finally went critical, unleashing a shockwave of energy. However, when the shockwave hit Atsuko and Aivea, the world around them seemed to slow down until everything had stopped. There was no sound in the air. A hummingbird hovering over a flower was frozen in mid-flight. People were like mannequins, simply doing whatever they had been doing before the impact, as if Atsuko and Aivea had been transported into a picture.
[color=#FF0000]"Welcome to the Q-Lock."[/color] Atsuko explained, blood dripping from her forehead. [color=#FF0000]"Until one of us wins a duel against the other, we're going to be here, trapped in between the ticks of a second. The QEDs around our wrists brought us here, but until they deactivate properly, time has stopped for us. And don't try to blast it with lightning. I heard this one guy, Gamma, tried to get it off. No one knows what happened to him. So if you would put me down, we could start with our grudge match, with your fancy-pants Number on the line."[/color]

[color=blue]"My turn, draw."[/color] V said quietly, and drew his next card. This person he was facing was weak, and would be easily defeated. They both already had four Heart Pieces, but V could still keep the extra three Heart Pieces in case one of his brothers became incompetent and hadn't completed theirs yet. It was only his second turn. [color=blue]"Now I activate the spell cards Mystical Space Typhoon and Charge, destroying your set card and increasing Satellite Cannon's ATK by 3000."[/color]

Up in space, Satellite Cannon's charging suddenly grew more rapid, growing larger (ATK 1000 > 4000). On the other hand, a typhoon had formed on the field and destroyed his opponents' set card, Mirror Force.

His opponent looked up at the sky. "Weird spacey cards you have there, but even if you get out another monster destroy my Archfiend Empress (ATK 2900), I'll survive and will just whip out another monster! So hah!" He didn't seem worried about the destruction of his set card.

[color=blue]"Pathetic. Now I activate the spell card Limiter Removal, doubling my Satellite Cannon's ATK to 8000."[/color] Suddenly, Satellite Cannon up in space gained a tremendous boost and instantaneously charged up even more energy. (ATK 4000 > 8000) [color=blue]"I don't need to bother with random people like you. Satellite Cannon, destroy his Archfiend Empress and end this duel."[/color]

A laser shot from high in the sky, but it was really momentary and only visible with a D-Gazer. It hit his opponents' Archfiend Empress and the shockwave sent his opponent backward a few feet, and knocking him unconscious. (Opponent LP: 4000 > 0)

Not bothering to walk over to his opponent, his crest glowed and his opponent's frame - with four Heart Pieces already inside - levitated up and to him. He plucked out one of the Heart Pieces and put it into his frame, completing it. The other three still in his opponents' frame he simply put into his pocket.

Now V had a full Heart Frame. He began heading over to the registration building.

After Dorian departed from registration he went on and had a relaxing day simply watching other weak people duel each other in a last desperate attempt to make into the finals. He was sure that any insects that managed to squirm their way in at this stage of the game could not be that much of a threat. He did however find his way to the Heartand building and where his numbers acted up. The thought of someone making his possessions loose control is definitely unnerving. So as he arrived he saw the transformed daughter of Kaiba square off against some stranger. [color=#ff8c00]"Oh my is that Kaiba's daughter? She's a monster just like the others. Oh how daddy would love this. Butler get the camera we have to record this."[/color] Butler motioned and pulled as small digital camera from his pocket and he started to record the duel. [color=#ff8c00]"I guess other girl here must have been the one to make my friends loose control. Interesting I didn't know people had resources to spend on cards"[/color] Dorian and Butler stood by and watched the showdown between the two but they realize that as soon as the collars are locked on the two seem to stop moving entirely. "[color=#ff8c00]Awww that's not fun at all I want to watch. Maybe if we stay still long enough we can see if something interesting happens."[/color]

Leon, however, got sad when Amber got mad at him, and looked down, drinking a sip of the hot tea. The beverage quickly got into Leon's body, making him feel a bit better. -[color=#40e0d0] [/color][color=#800080]"Sorry, Amber."[/color] - he then took another drink of tea, which burned his tongue - [color=#800080]"Damn it's hot! But it's really...good, actually." - shortly after, Leon was almost better, and was eating - "Amber is right, Josep! This is the best meal ever! And to imagine that this place was started by your money...wow."[/color] - Leon grabbed the side of his head. He was concious, but he still was kinda dizzy, and his head started hurting.

Amber looked to Leon with a smile when he started to feel better, but she herself was starting to become full. She ate everything on her plate though, and then spent the rest of the time sipping her tea.

Yuki's noodle took quite some time to make, but when it was finally brought in, he found out that the long wait wasn't for nothing. [color=#4b0082]"Wow. I cant believe something like this could actually exist. The noodle itself doesn't actually taste of anything, but it absorbs the soup's rich flavor so easily. The duck is perfectly cooked as well, and it goes with the soup'[/color][color=#4B0082]s taste nicely." [/color][color=#000000]After describing how his food tastes like, Yuki dug into his food and began eating at an amazingly fast speed, taking in a few sips of is green tea. [/color]

"If I weren't I'd be the head of a multi-billion dollar medical and technological company.....but I didn't want that, so, I'd want to be a psychologist....especially for our little group of insane people that can see spirits and whatnot" he joked at the end as he finished his food and placed the chopsticks in on the plate, clasping his hands together in a thank you. "Thanks for the food!" he said aloud as he placed the money on the table. "I think we've sat down long enough...we should probably work out this meal...."

The other's may not have been done eating yet, but he was raring to go...in only a few more hours they would all be competing after all, in what could only be described as the last day of human existence....if he was to go by the prophecy in his head.
