Huh.
Surprised there hasn't been a thread for this yet.

But yeah, Toriko's pretty cool. It's not my favorite manga, but there's no denying it's a quality work of art. A well-rounded cast (for the most part), a very unique universe, and cool action. I really like how the mangaka took such an "out-there" concept and managed to create a great piece of work with it.

All in all, it deserves its spot in the Big 3.

Yea its a really interesting concept no doubt, I love the innovative ideas for creatures/food/tastes. And yea the cast are very appealing and enjoyable to watch cant wait to be up to date and i hope it does take a spot in the big 3 when one of the others finish

As far as the anime goes, the episodes after were really weird, but while the newer chapters and episodes are a bit strange, I still think that the manga is great. Yes, I know this post is very old, but I am reviving this thread.
