CrystalCyae
Before Rose could even consider getting within 10 or so metres of Caden, Becca leapt from the bushes as fast as she could. She landed in front of Rose, blocking his path to Caden. She smiled cheekily. "Just where do think your going?" she asked, spreading her new makeshift cloak wide. It wasn't necessary, but it helped to stop Rose from seeing what was happening to Caden. And that would give Judas' Zangoose ample time to do whatever it was directed to do. "Because, guess what boy? You aren't getting within ten steps of your friend." she gripped a pokeball tightly in her hand, appearing as threatening as possible.
ListenToLife
Sylver looked around everywhere, mainly around the gym, for Coral. She seemed to have vanished into the crowd and somehow blended in; what one would presume is a difficult thing for an over 6 foot tall, half snake woman. Still, she had somehow managed it, but at least she wasn't making up a fuss. Sylver sighed and looked around him one last time, not spotting anything, and thanked whatever gods for makinng sure she wasn't up to any trouble-making, though he did wish he could've found her. He was about to give up when he heard a cry of "Bahamut!" from nearby. A familiar voice, with a familiarly named pokémon. "Gotcha." Sylver muttered as he watched the streak of blue shoot into the sky and streak south, before summoning his own Altaria once again, jumping on the beauty's back as she follow the Hydreigons suit, gaining altitude and speed rapidly, catching up to Coral not long after they left the city's area. "What's all the running for, Boss?" Sylver asked, chuckling at the last word, as the pass above a large cloud in the shape of a wailord. Weird shapes, aren't they. Sylver mused as he waited on Coral's answer.
Zextra
Luckily for Caden, most of the impact from Zangoose's attack was absorbed by his bag, so all he felt was a small tingle on his back. Zangoose rapidly pulled its claws out of Caden's ripped bag and lifted its arm. Caden quickly turned around, reaching for a Pokeball - upon turning around, he caught a glimpse of Judas, but before he knew it, he felt Zangoose's arm lower down upon his head...hard. His eyes started drooping and he felt his body become heavy. His vision began to blur and he fell forward. The last think Caden saw before completely passing out was an image of a girl confronting Rose, who was running towards him...
Dharc
"CADEN!" Rose shouted, unable to see past the girl's cloak. He looked her dead in the eye. She had a youthful appearance, but something about her demeanor told him she was much older than she looked. He betrayed his normal demeanor of being kind to girls he thought were cute, and he glared intensely at her. "I don't have time for you. Move now, or I'll make you." At that moment, Charizard and Excadrill came to his aid. Charizard hovered overhead, growling. Excadrill spread his claws and adopted a fighting stance. Rose also grabbed Scraggy's and Grovyle's Poké balls, just in case. "I'm going to give you one last warning...Move, or we will make you." Judas grinned madly. "Good job, Zangoose!" he cackled. He leaned down and picked up a rock, then chucked it at the unconscious Caden's head, hitting him with a dull THUD. "Well, Braviary, it's time to transport him, I suppose," he called, tossing a Poké ball into the air. A massive red, white, and blue eagle emerged in a burst of blue light, and it cawed menacingly. It placed its talons around Caden's limp arms, and lifted him skyward with ease. Judas started running at Zangoose and jumped. The Cat Ferret Pokémon caught him, now donning a white aura. With a powerful Strength, he tossed him into the air and onto Braviary's back.
CrystalCyae
Becca smirked. "Brute force? Don't be a hero kid - Heroics get you nowhere. All that comes from it is trouble. Trouble for you and your friend back there." She laughed. "But fine, if you wanna threaten a girl, I'll threaten right back!" She tossed two pokeballs high into the air. From one emerged her Lampent, poised and ready for battle. From the other emerged her Luxray. Lampent took a defensive stance, floating above Becca, with Luxray taking the offensive, growling at Charizard and Excadrill. "And before you so much as mention type disadvantage, I warn you. Types don't mean anything in this battle. Nothing at all."
Admiral_Stalfos19
Coral Bahamut didn't even manage to get to 5,000 feet before Sylver's Altaria managed to catch up to it... much to Coral's distaste. Now that she probably thought about it, she should've waited until Sylver actually left before summoning Bahamut. But at least it might mean that she didn't have to fly over to Magma Forest to give her idiotic grunts a good scolding. "Well you're jussst in time now, aren't you?" she asked spitefully, before letting a growling sigh, "I need you to fly over to Magma Foressst. If thossse gruntsss are anywhere near asss competent asss I hope they are, they should've managed to contain that Reshiram by now. Ssssssee to it that they have, and then report to me immediately." With her order given, she turned her attention back to Grakus Isle, feeling as though she had unfinished business there. Reshiram Several grunts had started work on a gargantuan moat that would eventually surround the rampaging Reshiram, using their Ground-type Pokemon to start digging it and their Water-type Pokemon to fill it once it was finished. They had left a small gap so that Reshiram could enter the enclosed moat, but then, once it had entered. "Go, Krookodile! EQ and close that gap!" the leading grunt had commanded, his Krookodile performing an Earthquake as directed before he turned to the other grunts, "Alright, everyone start filling that moat back up!" All the Water-type Pokemon had used their Hydro Pumps to fill the moat back up to where it previously was before the leading grunt's Krookodile had used the Earthquake. Needless to say, Reshiram was still angry, and ended up still blasting anything it could see with its Blue Fire attack. It was then that the grunts returned their Pokemon to their PokeBalls and got outta there. "Are you sure that was enough?" a female grunt asked, after the retreat was over. "Yeah, sure, like that thing can swim!" the leading grunt retorted, in a tone that implied that he was frustrated over the ordeal.
ListenToLife
"Yes, Ma'am." Sylver sighed, in a rather sarcastic and exasperated tone. Sure, Reshiram was a big deal, but it was also a lot of effort. Hence why the grunts were bound to fail. He shrugged and watched as Coral turned around and flew back, and presumed that she had only left in the first place to get away from him. "Quite rude really." He muttered, before point forward lazily to Altaria, in the direction of Flamvius Town, and from there, Magma Forest. "Reshiram. Not a very interesting sounding pokémon, if you know what I mean." Sylver mused, talking to no-one. He sighed and looked up at the sky. "I'd much prefer to catch one of the creation trio. Or Ho-oh. That'd be the day." He grinned and closed his eyes, listening to the wind rushing past them as they flew, faster than most people would be able to see(thanks to Altaria's agility). They were soon over Magma forest, and even from this height and distance, Sylver could see the destruction that Reshiram was causing. The grunts seemed to have 'trapped' Reshiram with a wide moat, and were backing away as Reshiram raged, fire shooting everywhere. "That's not going to work." Sylver mumbled, as not only did the Water in the moat start to evaporate due to the large heat, but Reshiram started to lift itself into the air, using fly. "They really should think before they act." He added, as Altaria started to descend towards the scene. "Altaria, use Dragonbreath." Sylver ordered. The Altaria didn't hesitate, and unleashed a large plume of dark blue flames from its beak, which struck the Reshiram in the side of the neck. Although it didn't seem to do much actual damage to the legend, it did force Reshiram back to the ground, and Sylver was sure he saw a ripple of friction around the site of the impact. "Altaria, use Cotton Guard, and stay up here. Keep attacking it with Dragonbreath when you get a chance." Sylver stated, before diving off the side of Altaria, plummeting towards the ground. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reshiram, now fixated with the Altaria, failed to notice the human falling from the enemy's back, and was too busy concentrating on Flamethrowering everything it saw. This was causing major problems for the Grunts - who had also failed to notice Sylver, and presumed the Altaria was a wild one - who were unable to get close enough to attack. Reshiram's attacks occasionally collided with Altaria, but thanks to cotton guard, she remained uninjured; which only succeeded to enrage Reshiram even more, as he charged up a large beautiful blue-coloured flame inside its maw. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This Blue Flare was cut short, as at that moment a multitude of large rocks erupted from the earth, knocking the Reshiram off its feet, and causing considerable damage. "Good Stone Edge." Sylver stated, patting his Garchomp on its arm. He grinned and looked at the Reshiram, which was already back on its feet, glaring at Sylver and his Garchomp, hatred written in its face. "Bring it on." Sylver shouted, as he smirked. Master Red
"Oh, come on. You're totally cool," Bree said turning to Sierra. She thought it was strange someone would be so unsure of themselves, but maybe that's what comes with when you had to find yourself. For Bree, she knew where she was, but she didn't know where she was going. "You're all silent and mysterious and intuitive and whatnot. And I wouldn't know if I'm right. I was just giving you my spiel on it, but you're pretty smart. You'll definitely find it." Twisting a strand of her orange hair, Bree stared at the upcoming canopy thinking about what Sierra had just asked her. "I guess you could say that. I don't really want to fight them to prove anything, like 'Oh yeah, I'm the best," she mocked. "Like I'd ever want that, but I am gonna fight them. Sorry if that's hypocritical. I just.. wanna see what I can do. Where I can go." Pixi turned her head back and saw Milo soaring up to her and catching his spew of flames in her eye. She was happy he had caught on. Dodging the spew by rolling to her right, with some agility she hopped on her feet facing the other direction and continued running merrily. Pixi was hoping despite his aerial capabilities that Milo wasn't as agile as she was and that he'd never tag her back.
Sierra gave a weak smile at what Bree had said, finding it amusing how she could find her being all those things in such a short span of time. "I just hope it comes along quickly, it's hard to figure out what to do with yourself when you don't have any sense of direction, you know?" she mumbled rather than said, not really sure if she was talking to herself more than she was to Bree. She fell silent for a while thinking of what Bree had just said, getting a bit caught up in her own mind so she missed parts of what Bree had said, making her feel a little awkward as she felt she was being rude. "Um.. I- I guess that's fair enough" she replied, answering based on what she had caught on from it and at least assuming she had gotten the gist of what she'd said. Cray-Crow
Bree was exceedingly happy she had found someone. It actually gave her the motivation to keep moving forward. She was entering the forest now, Gradnis Forest was called? Bree believed so. Because the next town was Gradnis, home to the first gym: Bree's first target of her Pokemon adventure. "Well, follow me Sierra. I've got some direction: the town behind this forest. It has the first Gym. Would you battle it when we get there?" The forest wasn't unlike Bree had imagined. Tall trees that hid the sun from view. Bird Pokemon calling to each other and the Insect-types scurrying throughout the plant-life. She couldn't see any of which she would like to take along with her. "Hey, do you know what kind of Pokemon live around here? Besides the normal Bug and Flying types."
Master Red
"You know the way there?" Sierra asked, hurrying after Bree as to not get left behind. While she didn't mind being in her own she didn't want to end up alone somewhere she could easily get lost. "I should probably have invested in a map before we left but I never thought of it..." She added in a more mumbling tone, tugging on the right sleeve of her dress a little. The forest made her think of Fortree, her old home where the city was built in the trees. Home, she couldn't really call it that now though could she? She had nothing there any more but her father's grave and her old friends who definitely didn't want anything to do with her at this point. She didn't blame them for that though, she wouldn't want to have anything to do with her either. Whether Fortree was still her home was debatable, but maybe it was for the best if she didn't consider it as such as she would never be able to go back there anyways. Not without ending up in jail at least, or perhaps worse... She started to become lost in thought again and didn't catch Bree's question to whether she knew what kind of Pokemon lived in the forest. Even if she had heard she wouldn't have known, but the standard grass, bug and flying types would be viable guesses.
Cray-Crow
"I wouldn't say I know exactly where we're going, but I'm positive Gradnis is beyond this forest. And that's okay. I didn't think of getting a map either, but I'll make sure to get one once we get to town." Now that Sierra had mentioned it, it wouldn't have been an unwise decision to purchase a map before heading out. And she had even asked earlier to make sure they were both fully prepared before they embarked. Unfortunately, it had completely lapsed her mind. "Hmmmm.. would you mind if we explored a bit?" Bree turned to Sierra clasping her hands together placing them between her knees, a look of pleading on her face. "I really wanna find some other Pokemon and catch them." Bree had a specific Electric type Pokemon in mind, and if this place was anything like Kanto, she could find it here, and she was really wishing it was like Kanto. CrystalCyae
As Ashmin wandered, her mind drifted. More than usual. Silhouettes of Pokemon danced in her vision, fleeting and impossible to understand. The same basic shape kept shooting by, something like a lion, or maybe a tiger, with a long flowing mane. It was darker and more pronounced against the other shadows. As she stared at it, eyes wide, she blacked out. Speed is necessary. To save friends to be, one must forget the past. Thine heart is pure, but saddened. Release your worries, and you shall fly. Your friends will need thee to be there, the witness of more disaster, and the anchor to the ground. The disaster shall pass, and thee shall see the light once more. Let time be turned back in thou mind, and reset the counter Let thou inner light shine... Before her, the shadow took color and form, appearing as a legendary she knew well. A legendary well revered by those in Johto. Thou has accepted fate. Suicune said, taking a step forward. Thou past will be rectified, and friends will be gained. Thou mother would be proud that thee have accepted my essence, as she did long ago. Go forth, and my speed will be with you. Ashmin jolted back into consciousness, trying to grasp what the vision had meant. Suicune was there, and something about her mother? She really wasn't sure. It was then that she heard someone shout loudly. Turning around, she began to run towards the sounds of commotion. She froze. She wasn't really sure what was going on, at all. A guy - looked like an Elite Four Member or something - was riding a Braviary, and there was a boy being held by the Braviary. Another boy was trying to get past a girl with a really big cloak. It looked almost comical, except the situation seemed very serious. She honestly had no idea what to do.
