ATTENTION: For this RP, we will be starting from about where the previous incarnation left off. For those of you with characters that were NOT a part of the original RP, I'd suggest starting in Greenvine Town or at Greenvine Hill. Please refer to the 1st OOC Post for info.

Rose was getting nervous. He had only just barely made a dent in the 4th Gym Leader Sorano's Absol (his first Pokémon), while he himself was down to his last Pokémon—Scraggy.

"Grr...Scraggy, use Dragon Dance!" The yellow Pokémon started stamping around and bobbing his head, taking on a glowing red aura. Then, he delived one last stomp, and the aura burst, sending a small shockwave through the gym. "Good job, Scraggy! Now, use Focus Punch!" Scraggy started running at Abbsol at full speed, soon becoming a yellow blur. Where his fist was, a sphere of blue light appeared.

"Absol, use Aerial Ace," Sorano commanded. Absol leapt into the air and shot downward toward Scraggy, white energy trailing around him.

The two attacks collided, and there was a massive explosion. As the smoke cleared, both Pokémon were undeniably exhausted.

However, Scraggy's body seemed to have taken on some sort of unnatural glow...

Suddenly, Scraggy was enveloped in a blinding blue-white light, and his form started to expand. Finally, the light dissipated, and there stood a much stronger Pokémon with an orange crest on its head.

"Ha! Alright, Scrafty, let's finish this! Use Drain Punch!" Scrafty nodded and cocked his arm back, a spiraling green energy surrounding it. He slammed his fist into Absol's face, pushing him down through the floor of the gym and sapping his energy. Scrafty then jumped back, his attack completed. Absol lie face-up in a small crater, defeated.

"Alright," Sorano declared. "That is enough. Here, I now present you with the Sickle Badge.

Please, take care." Sorano then ushered Rose out, and he placed a sign on the Gym doors stating "Closed for Rest and Recuperation".

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)](OOC: This is a flashback from right before Rose's gym battle posted above)[/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]That morning passed by very quickly for Caden. Following an early wake-up call, he immediately headed to the Grakus Isle Gym, where he was approached by a tall, dark-haired man. [/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"Hello there, my name is Sorano" the man greeted, walking towards Caden. "I presume you're here to challenge me, the Gym Leader of the Grakus Gym?" he asked, which Caden replied with a nod. "Ah, then I should probably explain the rules here" he announced, clearing his throat. "We will battle as normal, except I will stop the match when I see fit" he explained. "Understood?" he asked, to which Caden nodded yet again. "Great, let's start then" he smirked, twirling a Pokeball. He hurled it onto the battlefield whereas Caden did the same. The first set of combatants were Caden's Milotic and Sorano's Cacturne.[/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]*nearing the end of a long, grueling battle*[/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]Caden's Milotic stood out of breath against Sorano's third Pokemon, Spiritomb. "Heh, you're pretty strong to be able to damage Milotic as much as you have" Caden muttered to Sorano. [/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]"But of course - they say I'm as strong as some of the Elite Four" Sorano retorted, much to Caden's shock. "But you've proved your worth - I'm stopping the match here; you passed my test, so here's your reward" Sorano said, handing Caden his fourth badge. Upon thanking Sorano, Caden left the gym, reuniting with Rose, Atrus, and Nathan.[/background]

[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•§•[/background]

Caden watched as Rose's newly-evolved Scrafty bombarded Sorano's Absol with a powerful Drain Punch. "Good work, Rose - That evolution was astounding; I'm sure your Scrafty will make a good opponent for the next time we battle" he smiled as he left the gym with Rose and Nathan. "Meanwhile, only one gym battle to go before that..."

As they reached the outskirts of Grakus Isle, Caden turned to Nathan. "Do you think you could help provide us with a ride to Rockius Mountainside? That would leave us with ample time to rest up and prepare when we get there".

It was dark. Yells and screams echoed off the walls. She stood frightened, cowering behind the door. Her parents were arguing once again, something that was becoming commonplace in her world. Never the less, ever shouted word scared her. She hated her parents when they were angry.
Peeping from behind the door, she heard a scream of pain, and saw her father grab her mother tightly around the neck.
"NO!" Her mother cried, clawing feebly at his hands. But he wouldn't let go. He refused.
Her hands went limp, and the girl's eyes filled with tears.
"Muuuuuuum!"

Ashmin shook her head briefly, dispelling the horrible memory. If only it would go away. If only.
She looked at the gym before her, the gym of Grakus Isle. The gym of the Dark type leader, Sorano. He fought in an odd way, she had heard, but she was as prepared as she could ever be for a gym battle.
Before she could walk in an challenge him, a few people came out. Both were slightly older than her, talking about their gym battles. An older man followed, who hung a sign on the gym door, stating 'Closed for Rest and Recuperation'
"Oh well." she sighed, seeing that she would have to wait for the gym leader to be ready once more.

Seeing as she needed to do something to while away the hours before Sorano was ready once more, she wandered around Graklus Isle. Lyre wandered protectively at her side, growling softly at any threatening Pokemon that passed by.
There was nothing for her to do. And all she wanted to do was forget. She only forgot in battle. But there was no battle for her. Not now.

~~

Becca was bored again.
She had been excited for a period after beating Sorano in a fair battle, without a trick. That had been the hardest part, and having achieved it she felt on top of the world. Afterall, she had to be more... legitimate when facing official competitors. Otherwise she'd be disqualified from the league for unfair play.
Of course, off the battlefield, she could do what she did best; cheat battles.
But no-one in the area was willing to battle. Some of them were busy healing Pokemon after beating the gym. Others were too busy training for the gym. Some just didn't feel like it, since they wanted to get to the next gym as fast as they could.

Becca didn't really want to challenge the next gym in Rockius quite yet.
Maybe she didn't care for that gym. Maybe she required incentive. She wasn't sure what, but she felt she'd forgotten to do something. She didn't know what she'd forgotten, only that she hadn't done it. It was somewhat unusual for her to forget something that felt so important, but she couldn't help it.
And she couldn't fix it either, until she knew what she hadn't done.

YAAAAAWN

The previous limp body started to stretch, using his upright arms to block out the now glaring sun. "Huh?" The noise broke from the bodies lips as the owner started to stand up, looking at his surroundings.
"How long was I asleep?" The Elite four member asked, turning around to see his Glaceon staring at him through a single eye, still curled up into a ball. "Sorry little lady." Olly whispered, smiling as he shuffled a closer to the front of the shell. He stroked the top of the large blue stalk erupting from the front of the shell, recieving a pleased half-growl in reply. "Just keep on going. It's up to you where we go." Olly muttered, looking out to the sea in front of his lapras. "You really can swim far. You've been swimming non-stop since Evraflow. Stop at Graklus. It's been a while since we've been there." Olly stated, before lying down next to his Glaceon again. He stared up at the clouds for a while, listening to the soft splash of the waves as Lapras swam, before falling into another sleep.

The next time he awoke, it was to a large cry from Lapras, as well as a few quick nudges from Glaceon. On instinct, Olly jumped up with two Pokéballs in hand, containing his Weavile and Empoleon. He chuckled though a minute later, placing the pokéballs back on his belt as he looked towards the town of Graklus Isle. He sighed and went to stroke Glaceon, missing as Glaceon darted around his legs and falling into the ocean. Spitting out sea water, he looked up from the ocean surface to see Glaceon rolling around on the Isle's docks, in a fit of laughter. As he used Lapras to help himself out of the water, he also noticed that the Lapras too was struggling to hold back laughter. "Thanks. Thanks a lot." Olly said, tapping Glaceon with the side of his foot as he returned Lapras to his Pokéball. "C'mon, let's find something to do." He sighed and watched Glaceon run ahead a bit, looking around the various buildings. Food. That's what I need. Food.

"D-Dad?" she was shocked as she saw the man's face light up from the lightning outside as he crashed through the window. Her eyes were widening, she wanted to cry out but no words came out of her mouth as she willed them to. He'd startled her and she kicked him. Hard. They had been close to the windows and apparently her kick had enough power to it to send the man crashing through it. Her father. Tears were starting to blur her vision as she saw the man's face briefly lit up by the lightning crash outside to then disappear as he fell down... a ten storey drop.

"N-No" she whispered, clutching Milo the Castform to her chest as she dropped to the floor.

"Miss!" Sierra snapped back into reality, looking into the eyes of a nurse whom looked a bit disgruntled. "I-I'm sorry" she mumbled, as she wiped the tears that had gathered in her eyes when she had spaced out. "Are you alright miss?" The nurse asked her, now looking a little bit worried. "Yeah I'm fine, just fine" Sierra replied, lies of course, she hadn't been fine for a long time.

The nurse furrowed her brow ever so slightly, not really believing her. "Alright, well here's your Castform back, he's all better now" she said as she handed Milo back to Sierra. "You really should keep him in your Pokeball though, he won't get as exhausted that way" The nurse advised her, same advice as she always got. "I will try to remember that, thanks" Sierra mumbled as she picked Milo up, turned on her heel and walked out.

Those flashbacks were becoming more frequent now and she seemed to be losing her control over herself as well. This wasn't good, not good at all. She furrowed her bow a little at her concern and then let Milo go so he could fly about freely. It was a warm and sunny day today so he was in his sunny form. He always seemed the happiest in that form, which cheered Sierra up a little bit. "keep him in his Pokeball" she mumbled to herself as she glanced back at the Pokemon Centre. "Well that would be a hell of a lot easier if I actually had his Pokeball" she thought to herself, as she started to walk towards a small park nearby where she could relax and have Milo play about as he wished.

Nathan looked at his younger brother. "Caden...I have to tell you something. I don't think you're going to want to be in the air when you hear it..." Nathan's voice trailed off when he heard the crunch of feet upon the black sand of Graklus Isle.

They turned around, and saw a blonde man in an orange outfit approaching. "Hello. My name is Judas Renict," the man said, turning to Caden. "I think you know why I'm here, Caden Azure. But, for the sake of those that do not know, I shall sum it up...I've come to battle you again. I don't think you properly learned a lesson from our previous battle..."

Rose glared at Judas. He had only met the man once, back at the 3rd Gym, but he had known there was something off about him. He didn't act human...More like some sort of demon...
Well, whatever he is, I don't like it. Whatever he's up to with this battle against Caden...It can't be good...

Bree was walking through Greenvine Hill. She wasn't really looking to capture Pokemon since none of the weaker Grass or Bug Pokemon captured her interest, but her Vulpix loved to fight them. What Bree was looking for specifically, she had no idea where she'd find one. Or two for that matter.

"Pixi, why are you being feisty?" She had just finished letting loose an Ember on a bush where a Venipede had been hiding. Her Pokemon began illustrating her answer, sounding as if she knew they weren't about to do anything important anytime soon. "Well how 'bout we just have a relaxing walk? I'm sure you're much stronger than the wild Pokemon here." Bree motioned towards the fainted Insect Pokemon, whereupon her Vulpix went and nudged it with her noise. Alarmed, the Venipede leaped to its feet and scurried away. Pixi sighed and made a disheartened sound of agreement.

"Hm. You're right Pixi. We're not going anywhere here. Let's go back to Greenvine." Heading down the road, she entered the small park that would bring her back to town.

Upon entering the park Sierra felt a bit more at ease. How long had it been she had started running now? She couldn't even remember any more, but being here with Milo was all that mattered. Cygrus, being this far away from Hoenn had to mean she was safe now, right?

"safe" she mumbled to herself, looking up at Milo. "You're safe now" she thought to herself, actually smiling a little bit, which surprised even her. She hadn't smiled in a long while now, how could she when.... She shook her head, no thinking about it only made it worse. She had to try to forget or at least ignore that horrible memory, or she'd never be truly 'safe'.

"Milo, I'm just going to sit here for a bit!" she called to the Castform, flying about wildly in the air, almost bumping in to both people, Pokemon and objects several times. The now sun shaped Pokemon made a small twirl, swooped down and circled her a few times and then blasted off again. Sierra grunted a little and shook her head at him, squinting her eyes a bit in disapproval as he went off. "You just had to mess up my hair didn't you?" she muttered, as she sat down on a swing and started to sort her blonde hair out.

Seraphine's eyes opened to an Axew and a quaint-looking room, despite it being in a ferry. She was taking a ferry from Johto to Cygrus as a way of letting herself absorb knowledge of what the world really is and to evade the clutch her expectations forced upon her. The Axew jumped off her bed, sitting besides the door and awaiting her leaving of the room. She sat up and gracefully departed, leaving the room even tidier than when she had arrived, as the maids at the mansion had taught her. Her past may have been lonely, but Seraphine was more often watching the maids and butlers clean than anything else besides reading or studying how her parents wanted her to be.

The Axew which had been her sole partner for the past few weeks was unique in the manner of its birthplace not being in Unova as well as being shiny. His entire being was almost as high-classed as hers, though he had always been more modest and vigilant between the two. Because his life up to date has essentially been synonymous to Seraphine's life, with the glory of being shiny tantamount to her social status, they both relates to eachother sincerely and rapidly. It was rare for either of them to be open to another entity after the betrayal both their families committed, his abandoning him amd hers feigning love and interest, so they replaced their families with eachother.

Axew walked near by her, as calmly as she was, not reacting to the uproar of the boat's reaching Cygrus. Seraphine got off at the dock and examined a map on a wall. The ferry accessed a rather thin river to reach Greenvine. Of the people who had left the ferry, Seraphine calculated a large portion of male and female masters sharing child servants but also many sole individuals, leading her to believe the ferry may have been for servants to leave their homes to find jobs elsewhere, despite many of the servants being dressed in an attire suggesting equal social class to their masters. It meant nothing, for she continued her path realizing that, because of the Cygrus region's status as a new region, an innumerable amount of jobs would only befit a budding industrialization.

It was only minutes before she reached Greenvine, her eccentric and dark style of dressing receiving several suspicious glares, prior to even mentioning her red eyes. The looks meant nothing to her as they were from a population of numbers and not people; they had no importance besides statistics until they interacted with her. She continued into Greenvine, observing another map with the utmost concentration in pertinence to her next goal. It seemed as though attaining the badges could be entertaining, lengthy and positive. Seraphine took a few steps towards the outskirts of the town, her faithful Axew walking besides her with eyes only warm for her and vice-versa. Seraphine was a tad more willing to accept new members, hoping they're not just fanatics of goth lolis or just because they find whatever archetype she may resemble adorable.

Olly grinned widely as he wiped food from his lips, burping slightly as he turned back towards the docks. Glaceon followed behind him as ever, appearing quite slow and bloated after her fourth helpings. "My, my, little lady. You seem to have become rounder." Olly joked, chuckling slightly as Glaceon struggled to move her head to the side to see her figure. "I'm just joking, little lady. You look as beautiful as ever." Olly stated, still chuckling a bit. At this, Glaceon beamed and leapt in front of Olly, jogging ahead.
As they approached the docks, Olly pulled out one of his Pokéballs and pointed it at the ocean. As the red beam from the ball vanished, it was replaced, once again, with his loyal Lapras. "C'mon then. We gotta get to Greenvine. We can get a good sense of the new league challengers." Olly said, jumping onto Lapras' shell, followed quickly by Glaceon. "Off we go. We're not that far from Gradnis, and from there it's straight down." Olly noted, relaxing onto Lapras' shell once again. "Tell me when we arrive. And less violently this time." He chuckled, slowing nodding off.

As Sierra sat on the swing set, sorting her hair out after Milo had ruffled it up by circling her rapidly, she realised something. She had ran as far away as she could from Hoenn now, or at least she had run as far as she knew she could go. Being this far away had to mean that she was as safe as she possibly could be, and the news of a dead scientist and a stolen Castform would probably not make it all the way here. Yes, it was a serious offence, but it was not an offence that was important in any way on an international level.

"I've run as far as I can... now what?" she thought to herself, staring blankly ahead of herself her whole being seemingly frozen in place. Her dreams of going to a University and then becoming a researcher were obviously out of the question, while she had changed her appearance as much as she could and gone through measures to attain a fake name and social security number - getting into a University would be impossible. Even if her name and security number could pass as being genuine she had no background story and no credentials to show for herself, because simply, Sierra Forret had never existed....

She unfroze again and sighed, placing her hands in her lap and looking down. "I have no dreams..." she mumbled to herself, using her feet to rock her slightly from side to side on the swing.

Olivia Redwood

"Wait up, Dino!" Olivia Redwood called to her Rhyhorn, as they had just left Greenvine Town after getting some supplies, specifically Poke-Balls, and were heading off to Gardenis Forest in hopes that Olivia would actually catch her first Pokemon in a long time. Dino charged on ahead, but Olivia slowly began to lose distance on the Pokemon, predictably being unable to catch up. She took a breather at the outskirts of the forest, where Dino was luckily waiting, but its patience was running thin. Dino was eager to battle something, and only stopped short because it knew it wasn't in its natural habitat.

"Rhy!" Dino had muttered, signalling that it waited long enough.

"Hang on a minute... I still gotta... DINO!! STOP... RIGHT NOW!!" Olivia screamed as Dino stepped further into the forest, it growling in response, before she continued to gasp for breath, "Please... I can't run that fast. I'm sorry, Dino, but... I can't let you... go on your own... it's too dangerous for you. Oh, if only... if only I were fitter."

Coral

Coral, meanwhile, was eyeing up a young girl in Graklus Isle, who was about to enter the gym, but seemed to have decided against it for some reason. Perhaps the girl had read a sign on the door that stated it was closed. Coral continued to spy on the girl until she heard something through a headpiece she was wearing. It seemed to be a distressed voice, calling her name.

"What isss it, now?!" Coral spat, the voice appearing to stutter for a second or two before detailing the events of a Reshiram rampaging in Magma Forest, before it tried to enter Flamvius Town, "SSSSSSON OF A B****!!"

She then ripped off the headpiece and threw it on the ground, before crushing it with a men's size 12 combat boot. Coral admittedly had a bad habit of letting any instances of rage known from a mile away, which would likely ruin her chance to spy on the girl. However, that's not where she put the blame; it would always be someone else's fault in her mind.

"I knew I should'nt have sssent in thoasss incompetent foolsss!" she hissed in the distance.

Well this is turning out to be dull. Hopefully it all won't be so. I'm probly just stuck in a rut. Bree had been thinking to herself as she made her with through the small park with her Vulpix. Not before long, the little fox Pokemon caught sight of something that allured its attention, bolting in an off direction away from town.

"Vul! Vul! Vul!" It ran on off excitedly. Bree tracked the direction and saw a girl being encircled by what appeared to be.. a Castform? Yes, a Castform. It was in its Sun form. Maybe that's why Pixi got excited, finally seeing another Fire-type Pokemon since they've arrived in Greenvine. Stopping a couple feet from the swing the girl was sitting in, Pixi showered ghostly purple flames around its tail making sounds of pleasantry, using a Will-o'-Wisp as a greeting.

Bree ran up and lifted her Vulpix. "Sorry about that! She got away from me."

Sierra had gone vacant again, unaware of her surroundings and just staring blankly ahead of herself where she was sitting the swing occasionally repeating the same phrase "I have no dreams...".

Milo however, being alert to his surroundings as always and curious as can be made no mistake of the vulpix that had come to greet them. He squeed happily and started to float around the small fox, rubbing up against the tails and examining the Will-o-Wisp that it was currently using. Add to it that another new playmate came shortly after and he was in ecstasy, flying around rapidly darting from the Vulpix to the human, circling around them and squeling too his heart's content. He stopped after a little while though realising that Sierra was still immobile on the swing, so he carefully floated back to her stopping right in front of her face with a worried look on his face.

Sierra still didn't move, staring right through him with a blank expression upon her face. "I have no dreams..."

(OOC: she's on a swing btw, not a bench but yay for interaction... even though Sierra may not be the easiest character to interact with... and I kind of think she's being creepy as f*** atm roflroflrofl)

The Castform was elated and expressed even more excitement than the Vulpix, flitting around Bree and her Pokemon. After its elation, the Castform returned to its trainer and remained in front of her face. Letting go of the Will-o'-Wisp, Bree's Vulpix was besides herself with elegant joy. Noticing the girl was stuck in some sort of trance, Bree began to feel awkward.

"Uhhh... right." Bree moved to get a better angle. This girl seemed to be really out of it, as if she had no idea that Bree or either of the Pokemon were there. Bree looked towards her Vulpix hesitantly, who was staring at the girl as well, seeming sincerely concerned. "Vul? Vuuuul?" It turned to the Castform with a questioning look. "Pix-vul?"

"Sooo... hello?" Bree waved her hand slowly in front of the girl, hoping to break her out of her mental tangent.

Milo looked back at the Vulpix briefly and then back at Sierra, his expression changing from concerned to annoyed. "Casss!" it yelled in her face, in hopes that this would get her back to her senses. "I have no dreams..." she mumbled again, still being out of it.

Now, Milo is usually a very happy Pokemon that is caring and understanding of Sierra and her tendency to completely close the world out. But there were people here now and this was rude, also he wanted to play, so this was completely unacceptable. His expression changed again, from annoyed to pissed off, and he started glowing a little from the fire inside of him. "FOOOOOOOOA!" he yelled as he slammed into Sierra's face, causing her to fall out of the swing and fall down on the ground. Now, if the fullbody tackle wouldn't have been enough to bring Sierra back, the fall definitely did the trick.

She grunted as she landed on the ground, blinking and looking a bit confused. "shoot! I spaced out again" she thought to herself as she struggled to get up. "owowowow" she muttered, rubbing her back as she stood up noticing a pair of feet and a vulpix not far from her. A "hm?" escaped her mouth as she looked up at the person in front of her, blushing a bit at this girl would definitely have seen her fall from a motionless swing.

Milo snickered a bit to himself as he floated about behind her, thinking that she totally deserved that for being rude... and boring.

Bree heard the girl mutter something but didn't quite make it out, but to Bree's surprise, the Castform lit up internally and tackled its owner head-on. It knocked the girl down!

"Oh my gosh!" Bree hurried herself to catch the falling girl, but fell short. She landed on the ground, and she was finally ridden of her apparent hypnotism. Pixi, having been witness to the assault began to hound after the Castform, no doubt telling it that such force couldn't have been necessary. Or, well, shouldn't at least. Bree circled around the swing seat and knelt next to the girl. "Are you alright? I think your Castform just tackled you, and you fell. Pretty bad." Bree noticed that the girl was blushing. Probably from the embarrassment. "Hm. My name's Bree. I'm new here. And this is Pixi, my Vulpix. She and your Castform have already met."

"F-Fine thanks.. no worries" she answered, sitting up and shooting the girl a half-forced smile. "He does that sometimes when he gets annoyed with me, but it's alright he's lovely most of the time" She explained, looking back at the castform floating nonchalantly around the small vulpix who seemed to be lecturing him.

"I'm D... I'm Sierra, and that over there is Milo. Pleased to meet you" She greeted the girl but mentally scolding herself from almost using her real name. "what's up with me? I may be 'safe' but I can't get sloppy!", she thought, catching herself grinding her teeth slightly. She mentally shook herself, she'd deal with herself later this was not the time.

"So.. you two are new here? I have just been here for about a day myself, I came with the ferry from Kanto yesterday afternoon" She said, figuring it's best if she tries to make conversation and seem like any normal young woman. "She'd just have to be careful not to let anything slip now, however she managed to almost introduce herself as Dianna was beside her but she wouldn't let it happen again. "it's the fall, it had to be. I was loopy" she thought in an attempt to reassure herself

The girl reassured Bree that she was fine from the fall and began to say how it was a habit of her Castform to bluntly tackle her. The Castform, like her Vulpix, had a nickname: Milo. The girl's name is Sierra, a trainer new to this side of the world. Just like Bree.

"You're from Kanto? Me too! Where from?" Bree thought of her origins in Lavender Town. Exploring the tower full of Ghost Pokemon and roaming the neighboring routes. The hikers in their mountain caves to the north, fisherman on the docks to the south, and the random assortment of trainers to the east. The elder man with his Pokeflute and his story of a Cubone who lost its mother. Her parents traveling to Celadon to the large department store, and her Grandfather telling her of his amazing adventures. She missed her home.

"I'm from Lavender Town. Pixi's from there, too." Bree lifted her Vulpix and held her in her arms, laughing as the Pokemon struggled to be set free before licking Bree's face.

"She was my grandfather's, initially. He taught her some moves most Vulpix don't know, like Faint Attack and Ominous Wind, so when I said I was leaving for here, he gave her to me. How'd he know you're my favorite Pokemon?" At that, Bree nuzzled Vulpix's nose with her own, her Vulpix filled with adoration.

"I-I'm not originally from Kanto, but I was staying there for a couple of months" Sierra started, starting to play her hair a bit and biting her lip. "I'm not sure if you would know of the place I stayed in though, it's a very small village by the place called Maiden's Peak. You know it?" She asked, she couldn't fake having lived in Kanto for a long time, she wouldn't know enough about certain places and people and starting a lie that she wouldn't be able to make believable. That was how you got caught.

"So she's from Lavender Town? I swear Oji-sama was talking about that place every now and then. Perhaps it's close by to Lavender... or maybe he had family there?" she thought to herself, getting up from the ground and brushing dirt and sand from her dress. Typical, she liked that dress.

Milo had stopped bothering the Vulpix as her trainer had picked her up and was instead investigating some nearby flowers. He was just about to eat one when Sierra turned her head a little to look at him and giving him a small glare he closed his mouth up again and drifted slowly away from it. He'd eat that flower later when she wasn't looking. Wasn't as if he would get sick from it or anything, it's just a flower.

"Oh, so your Pokemon was a gift? That must make it all the more special to you" She said, feigning some of the excitement in her voice. She didn't really have the excitement she wished to express, for the girls sake. It was quite a nice thing of her grandfather to do though..

((OOC: I quite enjoy writing about Milo, he's so derpy and different from Sierra ^^))

"Maiden's Peak?" Bree put Pixi down, stood up and thought for a moment. She was pretty sure she's heard of such a place. It was similar to Lavender in some way.. but how.. "Oh! I've heard of that place! It's where a maiden haunts, right? I don't really know much about it, but I've heard of it. If you weren't originally from that area, how was living there like?"

Pixi then walked up to Milo wondered what he found interesting about the flowers it was looking at. When Milo was scorned for attempting to eat one by a silent stare from Sierra, Pixi chuckled to herself. Biting the flower and holding its stem between her teeth, Pixi offered it to Milo.

"And yeah, Pixi does mean a lot to me. How'd you get a Castform? There aren't many of them, are they?" As far as she knew, Castform were completely foreign to Kanto, which meant she had probably gotten it before she lived near Maiden's Peak. Didn't hurt to ask, either way.

Sierra nodded, "yeah that's right" she confirmed, "I only lived there for three months so I didn't really experience it all but it was really creepy and ominous at night". She shuddered a bit thinking back on some of the nights when she had been helping out at the shrine. She had always had the feeling that someone was watching her and even hearing whispers and sobs occasionally. "I had gone there as I heard it was a very quiet and relaxing place, guess they conveniently left out the part with the ghost..." she muttered the last part and shook her head a bit at it.

Milo thought that the Vulpix was going to tease him at first and have that flower all to herself, being shocked when she kindly offered it to him. His eyes went all sparkly from the kind gesture and he swirled around happily a couple of times, nudging Pixie before downing the flower quickly. It wasn't very good table manners to do so but he had to be swift so that Sierra wouldn't notice. Swallowing down the flower he smiled and was content for the flower had been quite tasty. However, the smile quickly disappeared and a worried look came upon his face.. maybe the flower didn't all too good after all.

"I'm glad, some trainers don't seem to care very much at all for their Pokemon..." she mumbled, looking down for a little bit rubbing her foot in the ground. "Milo?" she looked up again and then glanced back at Milo whom seemed to be acting a bit funny. However, it was hard to tell with Milo sometimes as he tended to act funny anyways. "I saved him" she said, smiling back at Milo. He was the one source of happiness in her life really, and she was going to do everything she could to protect that happiness.

"SSSSSSON OF A B*TCH!"
Ashmin jumped, extremely startled by the loud shout. She looked around wildly for a moment before sighing inwardly. Some random tall woman was stamping something under her foot and cursing. They weren't yelling at her, though it was somewhat odd that the yelling, cursing person had seemed to appear from nowhere.
She continued to wander to rid herself of boredom, only to come across two battling people. One was a boy a little older than herself - the other, an older man who she swore she'd seen in some Cygrus information booklet or newspaper. But she couldn't quite place a name on him.
The boy set his Garchomp on the older man's Zangoose, which fainted under the sheer strength. By the way they stood motionless for a moment, Ashmin guessed that was the end of the battle. A little interesting considering she remembered seeing the boy exiting the gym before she went to enter and decided against it. Odd. Everyone was appearing from nowhere.
