Yu-Gi-Oh! Hearts of Darkness *Reboot* [OOC/PG-13/Started/Not Accepting]

*concocts nasty plan to save Aivea* >:{)

Anyways, I have another Hieratic Seal card I want to make, but since Resilience ended up initially broken, I thought I'd best post it here first... y'know, so I don't run into problems when it comes down to trying to use it.

Hieratic Seal of the Mirage
Continuous Spell Card
Once per turn, while the only cards you control are face-up "Hieratic" cards; you can pay multiples of 800 Life Points up to the number of vacant Spell or Trap Cards you have. If you do; pick up cards from your Deck until you pick up Trap Cards equal to the multiple of 800 Life Points you paid; Set all Trap Cards picked up this way. Amongst the cards you picked up; you can pay 100 Life Points to return each card to the Deck. If you do; shuffle it. The remaining cards are sent to the Graveyard.

...

Well y'know what they say, dire situations call for desperate measures, specifically when Ms. Kaiba is on the verge of losing and being sacked of her only Heart Piece =/

EDIT: Decided to come up with a list of things I can probably change, just in case the card reveals itself to be broken as it is, considering my bad habit of making cards initially OP'ed. What I can do:

- Change the type of Spell Card from Continuous to Normal
- Increase the cost of Setting Trap cards from the Deck
- Reduce the max. number of Traps one can actually Set from the Deck, up to the number of Hieratic monsters under control
- Limit the cards picked up to a definite number, like 5 or 8
- Either increase the cost of returning cards to the Deck or remove the ability to do so completely

List can be extended if I receive some critique on the current card itself.

Wakin' up in the morning . . . . to see that Admiral still hasn't posted -_- but it's okay. I think you should

- Reduce the max. number of Traps one can actually Set from the Deck, up to the number of Hieratic monsters under control
- Change the type of Spell Card from Continuous to Normal

And that's it. Increasing the cost you have to pay would actually make it underpowered.

Shut up, I'm competitive. I should be allowed the time to explore legitimate ways my characters can defeat their opponents <_<

But thanks for the input anyway. I should be able to post right now.

GL, although if you got yourself a Dino Rabbit deck, you probably won't need it as much.

NnnnOPE! I am using "Amber's Gradius Deck". Or maybe I should use "Seth's B.E.S. Deck" oooh I can't decide!

EDIT: Yeah.. I'll use the Gradius Deck.. and yeah.. I'm sure you're all face-palming right about now.

Still haven't posted, though? -_-

Still haven't posted, though? -_- I haven't ended my turn yet, by the way, and I negated your Gebeb's attack, AND destroyed one of your set cards, so there's not really much Aivea can do other than gawk . . . .

You should've said you hadn't ended your turn before!

I was in the middle of a massive post as well...

Not my fault. It's yours. First off, you didn't read my post correctly, and second, why would any sane duelist summon five Gadgets onto the field without any set cards, or attacking, but a single lone continuous Ultimate Offering? -_-

Ohwell, you can save your massive post. I'm about to make my own.

Because shutupIwasstillinthemiddleofmakingahugeasspost -_-

Besides, wouldn't the second thing fall with the first thing?

Maybe. Now wait right there, I'm preparing my own epic post.

Posted my largest post yet. Despite all the epicness I've made it, Rai's moves are actually kinda simple. It's just summon Gadget > use Ultimate Offering to summon more Gadgets > Xyz Number 91 > use it to kill opponent with the addition of Spell and Trap support. That's all. I wasn't expecting it to be such a powerful strategy. Ohwell. If you want to reliate, Admiral, that's fine, you still have your other facedown. . . . and no cards in your hand . . . . um. Okay. I'll leave it all up to you.

-_- You're lucky this roleplay wasn't created a year ago, in which case I would've introduced you to Protheus Maximus, spiritual son of Z-one, who could very well pull hand traps out of his ass. . . . .

OR Rai can just activate some random QUICK-PLAY SPELL CARD from his hand that'll increase his Life Points by 600. Since his Life Points is at 4300, and the doubled damage put onto him is 4800, this'll put his Life Points at 100. And I'll do just that.

You're gonna Xyz Summon the monster Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis, or make some weird ass-pull and take out Thunder-End Dragon. I'm predicting ^_^ and I wonder what's going to happen afterwards. I have no idea who's going to win, to be honest. Aivea just drained Rai of his cards, but he has his Number on the field already.
