Flame Dragon
Just started arguing with my friend about how walkers gain you life. He says they don't because they just don't attack you. I say they do because by not being attack you are at a high life then you would be normally. -Lightray Daedalus-
Yeah PWs are life saver... I can't even count how many Time Nicol Bolas Endure a lot of attacks that should have killed its owner if it wasn't for Nicol Bolas needing to die fast so we can kill him without worries...XD
Flame Dragon
And my friend is saying not lossing life is not gaining it. And I'm not saying they really are, just in practice they cause the same end. He doesn't get it. Much how he hates me saying a card is a Vanilla or the deck is an Aggro deck. Wave_Sine
Using Planeswalkers to absorb damage is basically the same as temporary hitpoints in DnD 4e. Unless I'm misunderstanding temp. HP which is entirely possible. I like this guy. Not quite enough to want to run him in a deck like the other PW, but enough to appreciate that this is a powerful card. I also want to see the two characters revisited with new cards in the future.

Zeal Ascendant
Hah... looks like people guessed right about this guy being a planeswalker! Anyway, he does seem like he could be a pretty nice two drop in some decks.
.Rai
It's genuinely not massively Standard-playable. Mainly because random discard is horrible. And its first good ability is -4. D: Still, decent 2-drop. And Shakespeare reference in its name YAAY. Oh, someone needs to figure out his story.

[/quote] Yeah, he is kinda more of a casual guy. Oh, backstory? I'm guessing he's from that big crack or cave that opened up that demons were coming out of... forgot it's name, but he was a demon that has lurked there all along while trying to hone is planeswalker talents, and he finally helped open the big rift/cave so that all of his kin could come out and make one final push against avacyn and the people of innistrad. Lonk
It seems like a nice card. I don't know the backstory, and from the looks of this thread, Wizards didn't release a backstory to the public yet.
