[center][font=georgia,serif]I was originally hesitant to even post this outside of a private conversation with a particular friend. But seeing as I'm peaking my ugly[/font][/center]
[center][font=georgia,serif]head around here, I figure I give you all something to look at how I do things just so I don't look like I'm talking out my dark eye.[/font][/center]

[center][font=georgia,serif]Between College Classes, dealing with the original image, trying to mimic the Text Style of Dark Souls, color restoring, and all those sorts of manipulations[/font][/center]
[center][font=georgia,serif]this piece took the better part of 6 hours off and on just to get right and there's still [/font][/center]
[center][font=georgia,serif]so many things I could do to fix it. But in the end, it appeared to come out alright without any sharpening or depth tweaks required.[/font][/center]

[center][font="georgia, serif"]Unfortunately, I'm not giving the PSD to this one away.[/font][/center]

Original? I always have a hard time accurately depicting exactly what you did because you art "style" is far from anything that's done in the average gfx community.
The thing I can comment on is that the "o" is not easily picked up by the eye. I first thought it said "Art Rias", that's something you should provide a bit of clarity on.
What I can say is that the piece looks crisp and natural, something that 2 layers of blur/sharpening won't give you.
Again, can't really give an accurate critique, but It always brings me joy seeing you active in the community.

I just wish you'd post more.

What I did is too much... A few layers of masking so I get the targets out of the way. Collective Burning, Dodging, Color Replacements, Sponging, texts, fixing up, etc...

I would be far more active, but even for me it's discouraging when people cannot gauge what you do properly.
