I cant wait to RP as Sierra, whom I now realise I forgot to give a last name! But given she's wanted for breaking an entry, robbery and manslaughter I am actually thinking that Sierra isn't even her real name :P Will be a challenge to RP someone that is struggling with such guilt, is on the run and mostly lives through her painful memories
And now I can see Ashmin being semi-friends with Sierra since they share that in common
Except, of course, Ashmin wasn't the one to do they injuries, but still...
hehe

Knowing how stupid and messed up my internet time is, especially with my brother stealing it from me at any opportunity, I'd probably get around to posting tomorrow if it was posted today.
Darn computer times and holiday homework >.<

Yeah... about those apps.

...

I know we have enough normal trainers, but can I app for one anyway? I'm kinda not entirely thrilled about being stuck with one character when multiple applicants have got at least two -_-
Sure - go for it if you can get one in by tomorrow.

Right, I'll get on that.

Age: 14
Home Town: Undella Town, Unova

^Apologies if this appears too provocative for you guys' liking, but this is the best pic I can find :(

But anyway, let's just say that she has her shirt on and that her fly's done up.
Biography: Olivia Redwood was only 6 years old when her house was set ablaze by a couple of Team Magma Grunts and their Infernape. Unfortunately, her mother was trapped in the inferno and couldn't make it out, and her father was out on vacation at the time, so it was up to poor little Olivia to get outta there in one piece. The Infernape were in hot pursuit and easily caught up to her, but they were fended off by a Chandelure that was summoned by a sage. The incident still mentally scarred Olivia though, and she began deathly fearing Fire-type Pokemon and moves ever since that fateful day. 4 years later, she started her Pokemon journey on her own, thinking she'd better find something that would protect her in case something like that were to ever happen again. That's when she stumbled upon a wild Rhyhorn. She didn't seem too eager about it at first, but then Olivia found a wild Darumaka, which immediately became hostile towards her, and chased her as a result. She ran back towards the Rhyhorn she found earlier, hoping it would protect her. That Rhyhorn, however, remained as docile as the first time... until the Darumaka managed to catch up to her. Thinking it was wanting to attack it instead, Rhyhorn charged straight for the Darumaka and defeated it in one fell swoop with a Take Down. Realizing what the Rhyhorn had done, Olivia had tried to reason with it, but to no avail. She tried harder, and harder, finally managing to get through to the Rhyhorn when she burst into tears. It was then that she nicknamed it Dino.

Dino and Olivia had since travelled the Unova Region together, as Olivia continued to become a better trainer and Dino continued to be a stronger Pokemon. Olivia, however, remained afraid of the Fire-type Pokemon that she came across, despite remaining reassured that Rhyhorn could handle them. Still, she tried to have a good time overall, and stopping by to get sweets every so often certainly helped. Eventually, she conquered the Unova Region, even beating the League there, but now she was instructed to go to Frontier Island in the Heonn Region... by the same sage that saved her from the Team Magma Grunts. He revealed himself to be one of the Frontier Brains, and challenged her to a Pokemon Battle, utilizing an Emboar, a Darmanitan, a Torkoal, the Chandelure he used earlier, a Flareon and an Infernape. All 6 were Fire-types, obviously, but the Frontier Brain was counting on Olivia alleviating her own fears. It was an intense battle, but Dino had finally defeated all 6 Pokemon, and as a result, Olivia been offered the chance to become a Frontier Brain herself. However, she declined the offer because she still wanted to see what the world of Pokemon would offer, and wanted to continue her dream of becoming a Pokemon Professor.
Personality: It's only fair to say that Olivia loves her food, and she's on a personal mission to find the best sweets in the whole of the Pokemon World. However, she doesn't always stuff her own face with such "delicacies," and can sometimes be seen feeding some to Dino, her Rhyhorn. But she can still be rather gluttonous, although she doesn't mean to be, and she absolutely marvels her body since it still retains plenty of beauty and attraction for her current age despite showing that she's badly overweight, even to the point where she can technically be labelled as obese. Olivia would still go out in a bikini regardless, and although she doesn't care about her weight in the slightest, she does care about comments made towards, and will retaliate spitefully when she hears such comments. Stay from the topic though, and you'll find Olivia to be a kind, respectable, and perhaps even helpful person. Olivia is very close to Dino, and treats it more like she would a younger brother than she would a pet, which is just as well since she doesn't have the Poke Ball for it. However, she's cautious of Fire-type Pokemon because of what happened to her home when she was a child, and refuses to teach her Pokemon any Fire-type moves for the same reason.
Trainer Type: Normal Trainer - Declined Offer to be Frontier Brain
Starter Pokemon: Dino (Rhyhorn)

WIP atm. It's extremely late where I am at the moment, so I'll have to pick it back up in the morning.

Sounds good.
Anyways, I will be starting the RP in approximately 5 hours, so I hope to get at least some of the reserved apps in by then...

I just want to ask 1 question. How can a rhyhorn defeat the Unova league, and a Frontier brain without evolving? Just curious. Does it have an Everstone, or a reason behind not evolving?
I was actually thinking that too :P

Ahh, but said Pikachu knows Iron tail, which is super effective.

But then again, said Pikachu beat a regice, but loses to tons of crappy stuff like a Drifblim, on which it has a type advantage.

Yeah, Pokémon logic just doesn't work, does it?

oh really, but with every new series, said Pikachu goes back down to level 5 to prevent it from being OP'd at the beginning of the series, Pokemon Logic does work if you have the suitable knowledge to back it up

I'm sure that such indomitable, unreliable logic will not be applied here. While the rules do suggest losing every so often to impose fairness, there should be some sense of logic. I had seen the movie with Reshiram where I witnessed an Oshawott physically overpower an Emboar and a Tepig OHKO a Samurott, which is doubtful, even with help from Victini.

Does anyone know what their plans will be for the adventure itself? I'm hoping to be in a group of two or three at most.

like last time, i plan to have my character(s) meet with my E4 dude in the first forest involving a Larvesta, but the E4 dude isn't going to travel with them. Both my trainers plan to travel with each other, unlike last time when i introduced him mid-RP and his bio was longer last time as well
Do you know what your new trainers' final teams will be like or are you keeping it as a surprise?

If it's a surprise, then nobody knows if their pokemon will be taken. It's actually superior to announce your team but could completely kill the fun for others, rather than partially.

I'm mostly just think about who I'll be traveling with or if I'll get involved at all with the main storyline involving the two teams. I really hope I can get into that, though. It sounds like it'd be really fun to battle a leader or an executive.

Also, in the pokemon league at the end, we're just battling eachother in a normal tournament? Will it only be normal trainers or will the winner fight the E4 and the champion after if they're not in the tournament?

The beginning of a Darkrai one, where a Piplup battles an Empoleon on nearly equal ground. -_-

Anyway, I'll probably have my E4 travel around with one of the groups, probably not revealing who he is. My Admin will do Admin stuff.
