Welcome to the world of Pokemon! In this roleplay, you live in the Unova region within the Pokemon story, in which you must battle to become a Pokemon Master! If you are done in a region, you can take a ship over to any other region! What could go wrong? Well, what about the villanous Team Rocket? Or the nasty Team Plasma? You must be carefull! One wrong move could meen catastrophe... :o

 

Well, recently, Team Rocket and Team Plasma teamed up. What could Giovanni and Ghetsis do together? Anything! Luckily, N has learned his lesson and has joined the good side. It is still unknown where the Rocket and Plasma (RP, get it? Yes I know, bad joke.) are hiding. YOU must stop them! Or join them... Are they you're friend or foe? You decide! Dennis is a boy who seems nice enough, he is friends with N and has never lost a Pokemon battle. Wait, no he WAS! He has betrayed us! Only a true champion can defeat him and his Ferrothorn! You can join Luke and N on their quest to defeat Ghetsis, Giovanni and Dennis, or you can do other things...

-You may say things like; Wow! Dad, are you seriously giving me you're Geoudude?

You may not say things like; Wow! Dad, are you seriously giving me you're Mewtwo

See the difference? You may recieve gift Pokemon from people, but they cannot be evolved or uber. Also, you cannot have some random person walk up to you and say; 'Hello! Here is a Pokemon!', there must be some reason behind it.

 

-No swearing, this roleplay must be kept PG.

 

-No godmodding. This is a strict rule here; so no 'I'm epic my Magikarp 1 hit KO'd you're Arceus!'

 

-Similair to above, no other content that could be bad for childeren under around ten years old.

 

-No breaking other Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker rules, that should be quite self-explanatory.

 

- Your posts must be of a decent length, at least four lines of text. Always use proper grammar, unless it is part of the way a character speaks 'Ay, lad! Get off mah lawn, ya good fer nothin' idiot!' is an example.

 

- Posts must be posted in either qoutation marks or speech marks, no script format!

 

-No copy and pasting words from ANYTHING! Seriously, be unique.

 

-Our No 1. rule is, obviously, have fun!

Bio: Luke was born suffering from sibling rivalry, his brother Connor and his Timbur were to powerfull, and Luke never won a battle. This lowered his confidence, so he went to Unova to learn from Alder, the champion.

 

Personality: Luke is an intelligent boy but also loves to have fun. He enjoys battling with his Pokemon a lot in particular. However, he has a short temper, and can't stand being harrased. His dream is to become a Pokemon master.

 

Job: PKMN Trainer

This might need a bit of tweaking.

 

1) Spoilers. Put stuff in spoilers and space it out.

2) Limit it. You can have it set in all 5 regions. Too much area, little chance of people interacting.

3) You'll need to improve the rules. If you dont have the Advanced clause mentioned, rinne'll come down on you like Pneumonia in the artic.

4) More detail in the app. Bio, Personality, stuff like that. Give the characters some depth.

5) It's your, not You're. Get your grammar right. Also, full colons were needed there, not semi-colons.

you need to add a personality field that requires at least 1 paragraph, otherwise the mods will lock this. Also i would recommend a background/bio field, to give teh characters a background

Just having two people in Unova doesn't make it better. I know you're trying to give people freedom, but too much is bad. Atleast set it in one region for the start, and then, if the RP is successful enough, open up other regions for access. It is much better to have less freedom, but more interaction, than lots of freedom, but no interaction. If everyone ends up in seperate areas, then no-one can contribute to anyone else's story, thereby making it a bunch of fanfics on one, RP, thread.

If I may, one Idea would be to allow people factions, such as: ~ basic Trainer, where the characters may travel in small groups to complete certain objectives

~Team Rocket/Plasma/Magma/Galactic/Etc(Grunt), where characters are part of a pre-planned group and must complete objectives to further the groups plots. These characters would obviously be against the Protaganists, and would form the basic Antagonists for each region.

~Any you can think of.

Basically put, allow people choice, allow them to choose different options. Also, allow room to manouver. Not all want to become pokémon trainers. Some may want to become co-ordinators, or scientists, or Archaeologists, or anything else. Allow people the option of a Job or/and a faction. Rather than making the area bigger, make the plot bigger, or the characters and character growth.

 

Also, you need to delete the IC thread. Due to you having a lack of participants, and the fact you haven't started the RP, the IC thread is, at this moment, spam.

Nope. Plot isn't enough, and you've had enough time to fix this. Plus, I'm kinda disturbed at the fact that you've equated Ghetsis with Dennis when the latter is just a fandom joke. That doesn't have any actual bearing, though, but regardless. LOCKED.
