Correct me if I'm wrong, but the game is a tactical turn-based strategy, like games like Fire Emblem and Advanced Wars, isn't it? Because that's awesome.

Or is it more of a turn-based grand strategy, like the original Nobunaga's Ambition?

I am so hyped for this.

Grid-based battle and pokemon is orgasmic.

Regardless, this sounds exciting.
Makes me wonder if I should save up for this or BW2...
Hmmn...
Probably should save up for a 3DS while I think on it.

Mystery Dungeon is a 3rd person perspective dungeon crawler, not grid-based battle.

As far as my stupidity sees, the dungeons are grid-based and I saw a brief connection between grid-based battle and PMD.

Then again, I've never played Nobunaga's Ambition (or whatever) and I should probably shut up and let experts talk. :P

Regardless, this game brings my total of wanted items up to around 5. No lists here.

They both have grids but they're completely different.

Several months from now, it will be revealed that Nintendo never actually gave them the rights to use Pokemon, and all copies of the game will spontaneously combust.

No, but seriously, how often does Nintendo say, "hey, use our stuff"?
[/quote]

Not often, they're very stingy.
