Tyler stood at the prow of the boat, overlooking the vast ocean. The sound of the lapping waves against the hull of the ship calmed him down, but even that couldn't completely vanquish the stress that weighed down on him. Tyler tore his eyes away from the ocean and looked down at his wrist. The strange black and silver watch that was attack to his wrist glowed slightly. It had been doing this ever since it had attached itself to him of its own accord.

Upon looking at the watch, Tyler was drawn into his memory of his first encounter with it. The holograph of the small creature, known as Azmuth, stood present in his mind. He could hear the words that he said just as clearly as if Azmuth were on his shoulder."I have chosen the human beings to inherit the Ultimatrixes, in hopes that their creativity and good nature will help the universe prosper." The holograph had said more, explaining the existence of aliens and the Plumbers. It explained the need for some new heroes in the universe and it even hinted that he might be in danger because of the stupid watch.

Ever since he was little Tyler had dreamed of becoming a hero, someone of importance, but now that the opportunity had been thrust upon him he wasn't so sure he could handle. The ideas of aliens and intergalactic police were enough to make anyone's head spin, but the fact that it was all true and that the watch that would come off his wrist was proof of it had nearly made Tyler lose it more than once. He had opted not to tell his father about it, not that he would have listened anyway.

Another memory began to tug on Tyler's mind. The feeling of becoming something you weren't. The very first time, and only, time he had messed with the watch it had changed him. Literally. The alien-man in the holograph had told him what it could do, but until that point he hadn't believed it for a second. He had hit the dial on the watch and at that moment he had felt his entire body change from a solid mass into a gelatinous being, only being held together by his thoughts. The entire experienced had scared him so bad he had yet to try it again.

Now that he was alone, and his mind was clear of any other distractions he debated exploring the watch again. Against his better judgment he pressed one of the smaller buttons on the side. The dial in the middle of the watch sprang up and small, unmoving holograph and a strange creature was projected above its surface. Tyler turned the dial, scrolling through a playlist of ten different aliens, or at least that is what he figured they were. As he was about to press down on the dial, changing him into the selected alien he heard a scream below him.

Tyler looked down, being on the top most deck he could see nearly anything that was happening on the ship. On the floor just below him stood two men clad in black. Each held a black pistol and one held a burlap sack. "Alright, you are all hostages now! Put all your money and jewelry in the bag and no one gets hurt...yet." One of the men said maliciously. Tyler backed away from the rail, falling flat on his butt.

Tyler looked down at his shirt, which ironically depicted the symbol of Superman. "I can't believe this." Tyler said, although he wasn't even sure if he was referring to the scene below or that he was actually considering intervening. Closing his eyes he slammed the dial down on the watch and the transformation began.

Alex used the Whip to capture a particular enemy to a customer of his. It was an Orishan, by the name of Aquario. Huh. How ironic. He noted this, and crossed him off his list. "Ahead of schedule. Black market time." He said this dryly, and took his "cargo" back to the ship. He enjoyed an Earth wine; one thing the humans could do, was create delicacies. With it, he ate an indistinguishable food and took off. He put it on autopilot; as he was tipsy, and called the client. "He is alive. Bring the money in full." His lips curled as the approval passed. This was a rare occurance; his smile. But it was wretched. Few would want to see it. He removed the sunglasses, and the blue eyes had a blink, before the glasses were put back on. He landed near his office. "Ha. Perfect timing." He narrowed his eyes and pulled up the Orishan. "Come. Now." He absorbed a small amount of its power, in case it were to escape. He constricted it, and threw it down, tightening the rope leash by gravity's will. He recieved payment, and watched his client take off.

He tried to recall his beginnings to how he fell into the business. He "scratched" his chin with the flipper shortly before it retracted into an arm. He shrugged it off, and vaulted his earnings. He closed it, smiling again. He had another call. It spoke: "It's a Galvan. High payment. VERY high. Same dead or alive." He loved it when it said this. The picture brought light; but the call continued: "Plans of this man's origin are boiling, plans that will destroy my business if continued. Stop it. The pay. It will be rediculously handsome. You could retire with it. When you reach the planet, the identity will be revealed." He had the metaphorical dollar signs and he ran off. But before so, he called, "On it." And wrote: Unknown Galvan, Unknown Pay, Unknown Bidder." And had Question Marks all around.

A silver light engulfed Tyler and when it died down he looked down at himself. His skin had transformed from its normal, white to a slimy, green. His hands had become webbed, and upon further inspection so had his feet. He appeared to be a giant frog, "LeapFrog!" Tyler yelled. Not taking in more time to think about it, Tyler/LeapFrog jumped over the railing onto the deck with the burglar on it.

"What heck is that?!" One of the masked men said. Both of them pointed their guns out Tyler, but before they could pull the trigger Tyler opened his mouth and a strange croak emanated from it. The two men looked at it each, slightly confused. It was just the sort of distraction Tyler needed. With LeapFrogs elastic tongue, Tyler lashed out taking both of them by surprise. The man that Tyler had attacked with his tongue, stumbled and fell into the other burglar; this caused them both to drop their guns.

Scooping them up, Tyler ran to the edge of the boat and closed his enlarged eyes. He took a deep breath and dived into the freezing waters below. Expecting an icy blast, he was surprised to find the water slightly refreshing. Tyler released the guns to sink to the murky depths of the ocean where they could do no one any harm. That being done, Tyler poked his head above the surface and looked up at the hulking cruise ship at his side. The people he had just saved from being burglarized stood at the railing, pointing at him in the water. Not sure of what to do, he gave a quick wave and sank below the surface. He was sure that they could take care of the two criminals now that they weren't armed.

Tyler swam towards the back of the cruise ship, careful to avoid the spinning engines that would spell certain death for him if he were to get sucked into them. Using his enhanced jumping abilities and the sticky substance that coated his body, Tyler scaled the ship(doing his best to avoid detection). After several minutes he made it to the first deck. At the exact moment his enlarged, webbed fit hit the polished wooden surface a red light engulfed his body and when he looked down he was normal again.

"Now that, was weird!"

Alex smiled. He finished the wine, and hiccuped. The alcohol flushed quickly through his system, and he felt fine again. His book held all the captured vandals and heroes he has taken in over the 4 years. He has 3 books- two of which have all 50 pages filled. The third was recently begun. He has captured many, and acquired much money from the time. His radar detected Galvan tech- a strong sense, but Alex was still partly drunk, so he ignored it until it was stopped. He knew it would take a long time to get to Galvan- and the mysterious fellow gave him 2 years to finish the job. So he took a detour and took on another one who's due date was soon- a Kineceleran named Redon. He used an old thing- a shock net. He dropped in on it, using his sensor, and dropped the shock net on quickly. Redon was loaded on the ship, and his oldest unfinished job was finally complete.
