Planning a set. To do with multiplayer Yu-Gi-Oh! Any number of players, you have independent sides of the field, each with standard amount of card zones. You all have your own deck and your own hand.

It's like Tag Duelling in a way. Kind of. You don't have official 'teams', you can make allegiances with other players, but will you turn on them half-way through a duel? Your choice. Stick with them until the bitter end, even though you'll probably have to fight that person to win?

Pretty simple, but adds a whole new dimension to Yu-Gi-Oh! that little people realise.

[LIGHT/Spellcaster-Type/Level 6/Effect]
[0 ATK/2000 DEF]
During any opponent's turn, when he/she Special Summons a non-LIGHT, non-Spellcaster-Type monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During the turn this card was Special Summoned in this way: You take no damage and monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.

M.O.L.E.
[EARTH/Beast-Warrior-Type/Level 3/Effect]
[1300 ATK/0 DEF]
During each player's Standby Phase: Control of this face-up card shifts to that player. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. The controller of this card must play with his/her hand revealed.

Bribe The Troops
[Normal Spell Card]
Pay 2000 Life Points. Target a player: Each player, excluding the targeted player, can Special Summon 1 "Troop Token" (Warrior-Type/LIGHT/Level 5/2000 ATK/2000 DEF) to their sides of the field. You cannot enter your Battle Phase this turn.

Revolution Scythe
[Equip Spell Card]
During each player's Standby Phase, that player can equip this card to another appropriate monster. The equipped monster gains the following effects depending on its Attribute(s): • DARK, EARTH, or FIRE: The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK. During your End Phase: Gain 500 Life Points. • WATER, WIND, or LIGHT: The equipped monster gains 2000 DEF. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Inflict 500 damage to a player.

Intoxicating Death
[Continuous Spell Card]
During each of your End Phases: You can banish 1 card from each player's Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Death Blossom Token" (Plant-Type/DARK/Level 3/ATK ?/DEF 0). "Death Blossom Token"'s ATK is equal to the number of cards banished in this way x 700.

There's nothing to stop three way or four way duels in the current rules come to think of it. I just can't imagine it would be that fun given it would be impossible for a player to survive three battle phases if everyone decided to gang up on him/her.

The good thing about these cards is they aren't specifically 'you can only use this card in a Battle Royale' so to speak and can be used in an ordinary duel. I swear existing cards work in a similar way to these.

Anyway:

Barriermage: Baiscially overly long condition might as well read 'when your opponent special summons a monster...' Really doesn't need to designate 'any' opponent in OCG either, your opponent would be enough as any 1 of 1, 3 or 30 would suffice (I think). Since its been made with multi battles in mind and its defence is meh, the effect lasting until your Standby Phase would be no bad thing.

M.O.L.E: I like that. Very troll-ish.

Bribe: Handy for those ganging up situations, and well balanced. Glad its tokens to prevent Xyz spam.

Scythe: During each player's Standby Phase, that player can equip this card to another appropriate monster. The equipped monster gains the following effects depending on its attributes
- DARK, EARTH , or FIRE: The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK. During your End Phase: Gain 500 Life Points.
- WATER, WIND or LIGHT: The equipped monster gains 2000 DEF. Once per turn: During your End Phase; Inflict 500 damage to one player.

Seems decent.

Intoxicating Death: Brilliant frankly. Going off in end phase is good balance to devastating card, although it makes it VERY slow. Continuous spell maybe?

Precisely. It's more to make them 'compatible' to multiplayer, rather than exclusively make them like that.

With Barriermage, yeah, don't need any. Not even sure why I put that there considering it's actually inconsistent with my other OCG for this. It's just supposed to be 'an opponent', which just helps regarding multiplayer stuff. I could say 'your opponent' though. Until your next Standby sounds really fun actually. Same in single player, massive difference in multiplayer. Love it. I think the condition's healthy enough. Just so you don't have an instant Level 6 for Xyzs or something.

I'm really proud of M.O.L.E. actually. You have the pros and cons of switching it to Defense if you don't want it to be passed round to you next turn or something. Or you could carry on letting it be passed round for the spying. Then, you have team play and strategically killing it off that way.

Bribe was designed in a similar way. Sometimes these duels can drag on for a tiny bit, you will obviously have to speed things up a little.

I'll fix Revolution Scythe's OCG. Thought it was iffy. Thanks, Matt.

Continuous Spell, it is then!
