My Guess at Number 9: Dyson Sphere

This is my guess for the anime.

Number 9: Dyson Sphere
LIGHT
Rank 9
Machine/Xyz/Effect
3 level 9 machine-type monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except by a "Number" monster. This card cannot be attacked while it has Xyz materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to banish 1 face-up monster until the end phase.
ATK 3500/DEF 2400

...Just a thought, based on the preview of Kite vs. V.
Made it Rank 9 because 6 is rank 6 and 7 is rank 7
Made it impossible to attack because of the preview saying "Galaxy-Eyes can't attack"
Chose 3 level 9 machines as a Dyson Sphere is a giant superstructure

I like this card's concept, but the conditions seem so specific. 3 Level 9 Machine-Types; not really sure how you would get those on the field without Level manipulation of some sorts (even than it feels it still feels hard to pull off getting Level 9's and having them being Machines on top of it). Another problem being that although it can only be destroyed by battle through another Number monster, it's already hard to run over to begin with. Not to mention it cannot be attacked while it has XYZ Material on it. Either reduce the ATK or fix that part of the effect.

The stats are also pretty nice but then the effect feels lacking. I was kinda hoping a pretty nice / somewhat more original effect then this. If I want a beat stick that can banish monsters (permanently), I'd rather use BLS. It's far easier to get out then this card and in my opinion more worth it.

However, this is me taking this card as if it were an actual card. If you were basing this card completely and only as a plot device card in the anime that you were tying to find out before it came out, then I would have done this review for more differently.

Wow... that sounds like a very powerful concept for a Number card, even for most Xyzs. I can get how you're referring to the Sphere as a galaxy-size megastructure, but 3 Level 9 machines sounds like a little too much. Looking at the Yugioh Wikia, there are 5 Level 9 machines, and all of them are either Fusion Monsters or Synchro Monsters.

The only sane way I would see myself playing this card would be to bring out 3 Chimeratech Overdragons.

That's not even close to being good. :P

I was basing this entirely on what I have read from previews of upcoming episodes. I was making it purely to try and fit in the anime from what I had read of the previews.

If this is even close to being right, V's deck is probably chocked full of level 9 machines, like IV's deck was full of level 8s or monsters that could become level 8 with effects.
