Kyng's Old Account
Skylords, huh? Now where have I heard that before? Although in your defence it is a very generic name, I guess. Alright, let's get to them:
Skylord Tatsu WIND / Level 3 [ Winged Beast / Tuner ] You can Special Summon this card from your hand by returning 1 WIND monster you control to your hand. If you do, banish this card when it leaves the field. If this card returns from the field to the hand; Special Summon it. ATK / 1400 DEF 1000
Skylord Kirin WIND / Level 4 [ Winged Beast / Effect ] You can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard by returning 1 WIND monster you control to your hand. If you do, this card is shuffled into the Deck when it leaves the field. If this card returns from the field to the hand; Special Summon it. ATK / 1600 DEF / 1300 I think this one is too abusive, the second SP Summon Clause sort of gives away. I mean, sure, it’s a +1, but with two of these guys it’s an instant Xyz Lv3...then again Tour Guide I guess. This with Kirin is very abusive though. At least it’s focused upon Sp Summoning, but this is pretty much, with Kirin, an instant Lv7 for a Black Rose/Ancient Fairy (who’d do catastrophically more abuse really). I would say tone them down to a degree.
Skylord Antoku WIND / Level 4 [ Winged Beast / Effect ] If a card effect is activated: You can return this face-up card you control to your hand to target 1 card on the field; it is unaffected by card effects until the End Phase. If this effect is activated; Special Summon this card in face-down Defense position during your next Standby Phase. ATK / 1700 DEF / 1000 It’s another, IMO, +1 on the borderline of a +2. I think the cost isn’t enough, the whole concept of another monster, even though it is Set, seems fishy to me.
Skylord Shinko WIND / Level 1 [ Winged Beast / Effect ] If a WIND monster you control is targeted by an Opponents card (either by an effect or as an attack target): You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; return the targeted monster to your hand. During your next Standby Phase after this card's activation: You can banish this card and 1 WIND monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster from your hand. ATK / 0 DEF / 0 Now this one I really like, it works well with the others, but more importantly it serves well for a quick evac, as well as aids to bring back the monster WITH a suitable cost.
Skylord - Tengu Knight WIND / Level 7 [ Winged Beast / Effect ] Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a WIND monster is returned to the hand; destroy 1 card on the field. Once per turn: You can target 1 WIND monster you control; Return it to the hand. ATK / 2600 DEF / 1900 Considering how these monsters Special Summon rapidly, I think if he destroys a card on the field, it shouldn’t be able to attack.
Marici the Skylord WIND / Rank 4 [ Fairy / Xyz / Effect ] 2 Level 4 WIND monsters During either player's turn: You can detach 1 of this card's Xyz Materials; negate the Effects of "Air Flow" until the End Phase. Once per turn: You can banish 1 WIND monster in your Graveyard; Destroy 1 face-up card on the Field and Increase this cards ATK by 500. If there are no materials attached to this card, you cannot activate this effect. (The ATK increase remains.) ATK / 1400 DEF / 2100 What’s “Air Flow”? The brackets are unnecessary, if they were limited to a period of time you’d state it, so I fixed that for you. I feel the detaching should be for the latter effect (destroy & +500), and vice versa (banish for negate). This guy is too much, the cost isn’t enough for the destruction and the boost, it needs to be either one, not both, because it’s pretty much an even more abusive Leviathan Dragon. Link to comment
Hm, I should probably have put a limit on the amount of destruction it can do. And Air Flow is a plot device obviously, just like every other card in this set. Link to comment
