I believe that this app should be all fine and dandy, hope I get accepted, but for now I must rest.....
Name: Gilgamesh

Date of Birth: January 1st, 1618

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Era: Medieval

Appearance: Gilgamesh is a man of a tall, stout posture. Sporting a battle outfit consisting of many different colored fabrics, with the most prominent of these clothes being the red upper body cloth which helps to shield his upper body from the elements. Emblazoned on the front of a large belt wrapped around his torso is an emblem of a demon's face, an artifact that his clan had passed down for many centuries to the greatest of warriors. Wearing sturdy metal boots, as well as metal shoulder plates and arm plates, he gives the appearance of some form of jester. But with his demonic horns, war paint covering his face, and a custom made sheath attached to his back to hold a multitude of weapons, his appearance shouldn't fool anyone. Covering his outfit is plenty of gold, all fake, that garner attention and malice alike, and beneath the extravagant display lies his clan's greatest asset, the Genji Armor. However, should Gilgamesh transform into his true form, he takes on the form of an eight-armed demon, modifying his clothes so that he may have more fluid movement, despite the additional weight from the extra limbs. In this new form, Gilgamesh's headgear transforms into a more demonic looking piece, his upper body armor and clothes transform into a more sleek breastplate and cape, and his boots shed off their high metal leggings. This does, however, remove any Genji Armor he wore underneath his original clothes. Enkidu takes on the appearance of a wolf, albeit having green fur, wings, and extremely sharp fangs.

Personality: Gilgamesh is best described as an overly flamboyant individual. Whenever he finds what he believes to be a legendary sword, he gets so excited that he may regard anyone near the blade as someone who would want to steal it from him, leading him to fight random people who he thinks are against him. A bit clumsy, Gilgamesh loves to make an entrance into any battle, usually shouting various quips of humorous banter at his foes in order to rile them up. However, Gilgamesh does have a soft side, one that he shows whenever he is with his best friend and loyal companion Enkidu. Should his friend be injured, Gilgamesh makes it his goal to defeat the one who caused the injury in order to avenge his friend. But Gilgamesh is at his most dangerous should anyone decide to insult his swords by calling them counterfeits, as this enrages him to the point of wanting his foes head impaled on a large pike. In battle, Gilgamesh is a tricky and dangerous foe, having defeated an entire army by himself for a sword that he thought was legendary (through sheer luck and plenty of humorous moments, only to fail and find that there was no legendary sword), who relies on coaxing his foe into close range combat. If things are going badly for him, Gilgamesh is known for using cunning lies and trickery to lower his opponent's guard, striking when they're most vulnerable. Should this fail, Gilgamesh usually ends up fleeing from battle, but not before committing to memory the name and image of his new rival.

Biography: Gilgamesh grew up in a small village in Central Japan filled with eight-armed demons, born of a demon man and human mother. Due to this, his appearance was that of his father, but he had his mother's kindness. At the age of 5, all males of his village were forced into rigorous training to hone their skills as warriors, all specialists in one weapon or style of combat, so that they could loan themselves out to armies for money. As Gilgamesh was trained, he was found to be proficient in two areas; Swordsmanship and Use of the Naginata. However, in accordance with his village's customs, he was forced to choose between the two, and ultimately decided upon the Naginata. After 5 years of training, Gilgamesh had already bested 2 of the village's best warriors, and was sent into the mountains to train. It was in these mountains that Gilgamesh met his life long friend, a demonic wolf creature known as an Enkidu. The two would regularly spar together, and over time Gilgamesh became a powerful warrior. Upon returning to his village at age 16, he challenged the best warrior in the village to a fight, and won without a problem. The elders of the village decided that Gilgamesh deserved the Genji Armor, armor passed down for centuries that had accumulated blood, sweat and dust, hardening to make the armor extremely resistant. Gilgamesh left the village to continue his training with Enkidu, and on November 19th, 1642, the village was destroyed by an evil warlord who wished to conquer all of Japan. Gilgamesh, hearing the news from a friend from a nearby village, swore vengeance on the warlord, and challenged him to a duel, which he barely escaped from. Realizing his weakness, Gilgamesh, after discovering a technique to conceal his true form in favor of a more humanoid form, set out with Enkidu to find legendary weapons from stories he heard travelers tell of in order to avenge those he lost. Over the course of the following four years, Gilgamesh trekked across Japan, Asia, and most of Europe, collecting any sword of legend he could find, hoping to one day return to his home and defeat the warlord, as well as to become a living legend in honor of his people. Of course, due to the many people he has murdered in his quest, Gilgamesh has quite a large bounty on his head for the man who could bring him in alive, so he heads between towns and cities quickly in his search. Upon hearing of what may lie in Germany, Gilgamesh immediately decided to head there in hopes of finding that which he has been searching for.

Weapon(s): Gilgamesh carries a number of swords with him, but randomly chooses which one to swing with throughout battle, so his attacks vary based on which of the following he uses (images and descriptions in order from left to right):

Excalibur – Gilgamesh's strongest weapon, the legendary Excalibur does twice as much damage compared to any of his other weapons (except Excalipoor), and due to the fact it looks exactly like Excalipoor, leads Gilgamesh to believe it to be a fake as well, when it is in fact the real deal.
Excalipoor – The twin sword to Excalibur, Excalipoor is Gilgamesh's weakest weapon. Any slash with this weapon will do barely any damage (exactly 1 Hp), no matter how strong the slash. Should it be thrown, it does massive damage, a fact Gilgamesh does not know, leading him to believe all fights he won with the blade to be pure luck. An interesting fact to note is that should Excalibur and Excalipoor be used against each other in battle, neither sword will be able to hurt the wielder of the other due to the sword's canceling each other out. (Excalipoor absorbs Excalibur's power and nullifies it, rendering Excalibur useless in battle against Excalipoor)
Naginata – A long spear fashioned by Gilgamesh, it is made entirely of steel, and is not able to break easily. The naginata is useful at prodding foes from a distance, and performing powerful dive attacks.
Masamune – A 5 ft long katana stolen from a legendary samurai, the Masamune's long blade makes it a favorite of spin attacks, but is prone to easily being parried.
Genji Blade – A copy of the real Genji Sword that Gilgamesh believes to be the real thing, the Genji Blade is far weaker than the real thing, but has the ability to absorb small amounts of energy from whatever it slashes, which it can give to Gilgamesh.
Zantetsuken – A sword stolen from a shrine to Odin, the Zantetsuken is said to be able to defeat anything in a single blow.....but Gilgamesh has yet to learn how to accomplish this. He can, however, use the swords manipulation of electricity to create electric shocks as he slashes with it, allowing Gilgamesh to briefly stun his foes with a small zap of electricity. It's said that the soul of Odin rests somewhere within the blade, waiting to reveal itself at the right time.
Battle Axe – A large one-sided axe crafted by Gilgamesh, also made entirely of steel. The damage caused by this weapon is very random, and is best used for simple slashes.
Chicken Knife/Brave Blade – A sword that takes on the true soul of it's owner, which in Gilgamesh's case is a coward, the Chicken Knife increases in power as it's wielder takes damage. Should someone brave hold it, the blade would transform into the Brave Blade, a sword that increases in power as it's wielder increases their will to never give up, despite overwhelming odds. Most dangerous when Gilgamesh reaches critical damage levels.
In addition, Gilgamesh can call upon Enkidu to assist him in battle, provided Enkidu is available for assistance in the current episode (Announced at beginning of episode). Enkidu can attack using his claws, his fangs, a powerful tackle, or can fly and barrage the foe with aerial attacks.
In a boss battle, Gilgamesh can transform into his true form, where he'll wield one of his swords in each hand, gains increased strength in exchange for defense, and has access to the attack Ultimate Illusion, a mental ability that harms an opponent by creating blasts from the ground that only Gilgamesh and his foe can see/feel. To everyone else, it only looks like he has stomped the ground, and nothing more.

Skills and Abilities: Skilled with Multi-Sword based combat, cunning strategy/deceit, True Form transformation/abilities.

Who will you be traveling with? Enkidu, his loyal wolf-demon .

RP Paragraph: High up across the starry sky, the moon shines brightly down on a young knight riding his horse towards his lord's castle, having completed his night patrol. The tranquility of the night provides a false sense of security, and the young knight was completely unaware of what would befall him that night. As he approached the bridge leading into his lord's town, which sat atop a small plateau separated from the mainland, he slowed his horse to a slow trot, his eyes trained on the sight before him. Sitting on the bridge was a creature the knight had never seen before, and before he knew what to do, the beast let out a loud howl. The knight dismounted his horse and unsheathed his sword, preparing to attack the beast. Suddenly, a malicious laughter carried itself over the wind, as a man clad in an assortment of cloth jumped from the wall surrounding the town, promptly missed the bridge and fell into the ravine below. At this point both the knight and the beast had watched this occur, and while both looked at where the man had fell, the knight was startled to see the man leap back onto the bridge. Unveiling a large ax, the man looked at the knight with deadly intent. “Now we fight”, shouted the man, charging towards the knight alongside the beast. The knight readied his sword and parried the man's first swing, then narrowly dodged the second. The beast leaped upon the knight's back, clawing into his armor. The young knight thrashed about, managing to remove the beast from his back in time to dodge the man's third swing. Deciding that it was the best time to counter-attack, the knight managed to slash the man after dodging his next swing, but the only thing that was damaged was the man's clothes. The man distanced himself from the knight, calling the beast with a sharp whistle. Replacing the ax into it's custom sheath, the man unsheathes a large brown sword, then shouts at the young knight, “Fool, you face the mightiest swordsman in all the world. You face me, Gilgamesh!!! Long have I sought blades of legend, scoured have I the furthest marshes East and West, and now my search brings me here, to you! Your weapons are forfeit to me!” Gilgamesh charges at the knight once more, but when the knight went to swing, Gilgamesh leaped into the air and dived down at the unprepared knight, impaling him through the chest with the brown sword. Looking to the beast, he chuckles. “Well Enkidu, I'd say he fell for it. I love the ol' baiting by swinging blindly trick.” Enkidu looks up at Gilgamesh, and howls as a sign of agreement. Gilgamesh picks up the knight's sword, and begins to inspect it. After a couple of minutes, he tries bending the blade and ends up snapping the sword in two. “Son of a b*tch, that bar-keeper lied to me! He said that this young knight was supposed to have a blade of legend, but it's just a plain old run of the mill sword. Come Enkidu, let us leave this sorry excuse for a town.” Gilgamesh grabs the blood-stained sword from the young knight's corpse, re-sheathes it, and proceeds into the nearby forest with Enkidu following faithfully.
