Agro Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 If you're going to run chaos dragons, don't run DAD, Decoy, Battle Fader, or Red-Eyes Wyvern. If you're going to run dragons, don't run Dragon's miror or Dragon's Rebirth. If you're going to run a deck, don't run Mirror Force. Run a full Extra Deck. Agro Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 Alright a few more Suggestions for you. 1. RUN RED-EYES DARKNESS METAL DRAGON AT THREE. It's the best card in the deck and you want to know that you can draw it when you need it if you're unable to search. 2. Dragorado or whatever they named it now is unnecessary in this deck, you should remove it. 3. Remember that just because this deck is Chaos Dragons doesn't mean that you want to banish everything. You just want LIGHT and DARK monsters in your Graveyard to use, not make unusable. -1 Dragorado (it actually doesn't fit the theme of the deck. Look up Hieratic Dragons if you want to see how it really should be used) -1 Cards of Consonance (with only 2 targets and only one of this, you're not likely to have both in hand at the same time, so yeah...) -1 Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (You have a BEWD engine, run more BEWD) -1 Sarcoph (This is more of a tech, and is a bit slow for this format) -1 Dragon's Mirror (Too slow and I'd rather have most of the cards you'd end up banishing for this effect in the Graveyard) +1 Blue-Eyes (it outclasses GEPD in this deck because it's searchable, for Trade-In, it should be ran at 3) +2 Torrential Tribute (This is a staple and amazing @3, mainly because if you have REDMD and Lightpulsar on the field, you really don't lose anything to it since LPD will just revive REDMD) +1 Book of Moon (Because if someone uses Veiler on your REDMD or BLS, you can flip this to have the effect you're using go off anyway, plus it's the best disrupter card in the game) +1 Mind Control (Because stealing monsters makes your Opponent ragequit and you can use them for Xyz or Synchro Summoning) You'll also want to find room for 2-3 Fiendish Chains, so I'd test with all of your Trap cards and maybe some monsters and spells and see what works best for you. Now for the Extra Deck. Get the basic Synchros first: 1 Ally of Justice Catastor 1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 1 Black Rose Dragon 1 Scrap Dragon and/or Stardust Dragon Believe it or not, some people still use Tuner monsters, so having something to use if you take their monsters is cool (Monster Reborn or Mind Control are good) Xyz Options: 1 Number 39: Utopia 0-1 Number c.39: Utopia Ray (only if you have room) 0-1 Steelswarm Roach (Cut this first if you need the room, most decks don't run high level monsters, but this card will be good later when Hieratic Dragons come out) 1 Daigusto Emeral and 1-2 Lavalval Chain (Look them up, you should immediately see why they're staples) 1 Gem-Knight Pearl (It has 2600 ATK and is immune to Fiendish Chain, which is heavily used this format) 1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn (Destruction negation is cool, yo) 1 Number 50: Black Corn 1 Queen Dragun, the Dragon Djinn (because Special Summoning Light Pulsar Dragon from the Graveyard is hilarious) 0-1 Vylon Disigma or Verz Ouroboros (You can run these if you want, but it all depends on how often you think you can meet their summoning conditions) 0-1 Tiras, Keeper of Genesis (if you feel you'll be going for it a lot) 0-1 Hieratic Dragon King of Atum (Effect: Special Summon REDMD from the Deck; need I say more?) 1 Sacred Ptolemys Messier 7 (Best Rank 6 can add any card from either Graveyard or field to that card's owner's hand) 0-1 Photon Streak Bouncer (BECAUSE IT LOOKS COOL, OKAY? that's really the only reason, you should really only be running like 0-1 Rank 6 Xyz) 0-1 Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis or Number 15: Gimmick Puppet - Giant Killer (Because badass Rank 8's are kickass) 0-1 Gustaph Max, the Super-Dreadnaught Railway Gun (when having REDMD becomes taxing, overlay them to basically take your Opponent down completely; 3000 ATK with the ability to wipe out a quarter of your Opponent's LP in one effect without limiting its ability to attack) Well that's all.
