@ Grandmaster of Darkness - I couldn't find any issue with your account or the server when I checked, might have only been temporary.

 

 

Can you please update us on any plan, thought or any form of brain activity that is related to adding Pendulums into DP? Near future, long future, no plan at all, whatever it is - knowing might help a lot. 

 

Right now the stuff in the Glitches thread is priority, but after I've fixed what I can, I'll start on Pendulums. Sorry, can't make an ETA - life be busy right now.

 

One thing that would be nice would be a feature to view the cards in reverse upload order, in other words, newest cards first.

 

Cool idea, and possible, but afraid there's no record on upload time on the cards submitted so far. So it'd only work on cards submitted after the fact.

It's better than nothing, I would just like it to be possible, since it's currently impossible to figure out what cards are new or not.

Thank you for your attempts, but I am still having problems. What makes it stranger is every other website is perfectly fine. Hmmmm.... Anything further you can look into?

 

EDIT: I got the site working, but now my password isn't working. Using a seperate account for now

Try a different browser; most likely it's not the site, but how your browser handles silverlight.

 

Well, currently DP seems to be down. The server takes a minute, then say it's unavailable. Not sure what's causing it. but thought I would give a heads up

The error Ossum was talking about and myself is usually only temporarily. Not sure what solves it, but both of us fixed it. Any who, thanks on the other. Hopefully it should be good for a bit

It's down again :/


Hello guys. I've been meaning to ask how can i register for duelportal. It seems totally cool and i love making decks and printing them out with my brother and using them. But having this will allow us to test decks and cards so we know what to print :)

Go onto the site (DuelPortal.us) and it should say "New? Register Here" or something like that on there, and from there you can register. Unforunately, the site is down, so you will have to wait for Sea to fix that. However, afterward, happy Duel Portaling :)

So DP is being dumb. It may be on and off for spurts but no guarantees. Still Working on it.

Please make DP's interface, layout, field etc similiar to Duelingnetwork's ;( PLSSSSSSSSS (cause right now... it's ugly? no offense)

Actually, make it exactly like Duelingnetwork's. That would make me EXTREMELY happy (and a lot of others too) and I would use it 24/7 and everything.

So, PLEASEEEEE, layout same as Duelingnetwork's ;((((( I beg you.

 

If you do it, this would be the best yugioh playing site ever! (create custom cards and use them :O)

Dealing with the bugs is priority over adjusting things to be like DP.

Be patient and wait for those to be taken care of.

 

So far it's only you having this gripe; everyone else using the program is fine with how things are setup.

 

 

As for your account error, ask seatteite about that.

Again, probably one of the bugs I mentioned that needs to be fixed.

Just wanted to say that I'm thankful for the site that allows such creative freedom despite the downtime and bugs. Uploading cards are always brief nowadays mainly thanks to the image upload system. I try to use images pulled from the web, especially for high-res of existing card art, but the system has been faulty for the last few days. Below is the error I received; I'll try to post if I encounter an error anywhere else.

None taken (offense), but what about the layout don't you like?

 

Layout's a tricky thing, you can't make everyone happy. I'll try to make it more organized and stuff if you want, but I can't make it exactly like DN. That would probably get me comments like 'this is such a ripoff of DN' and stuff :P

what about the layout don't you like?

I personally don't mind how it looks, it's not the most pretty thing in the world, but it works. There are some things I would like changed or added though:

 

When you reveal a card in your hand, you can't really see the information on it, but you can do this when you reveal your entire hand, which is a bit odd.

 

When you add a card from your Deck to your hand, or put a card from your Deck on top or bottom of the Deck, you can't see the card information, and having to always put it on the field is really annoying and makes the flow of the game very slow.

 

Another thing that is pretty slow is that when you search your Deck, Extra Deck or Graveyard, whenever you do an action, it sends you out of the window again. I would prefer if it didn't close, since that slows things down.

 

A "mill from bottom of Deck" option would be pretty nice to have, I'm sure some people have designed cards like that.

 

A nice feature you have is activating a Spell/Trap Card that is already face-up, speeds up the game instead of having to type it in the chat all the time, though having that ability for monsters as well would be pretty nice.

 

Probably more of a personal issue, but having a way to view the original card without the ATK/DEF changes would be pretty nice as well, since I tend to forget the numbers.

 

A bug I noticed is that it doesn't tell your opponent in the chat when you put a card from your Deck to your Extra Deck.

You're a very nice person! I'm going make an account there now that the error has been fixed and i'll check how it looks. I still can't believe it - a manual yugioh site where you can create your own cards and duel your friends! I will get a lot of my friends into this site and I will play with them there every day.

I'm so excited right now.

Okay, once I've checked it out i'm gonna give you some feedback about the layout and stuff.

Also, yeah it doesn't have to be just like DN. I'll just check it out and give you feedback about how to improve it.

EDIT: Error while trying to add card image to my custom card?

EDIT2: Can't log in anymore. I hope this stuff doesn't happen often.

Yeah I get an error while trying to upload card art too. I hope this stuff doesn't happen often... I hope Sea fixes the errors and I hope they won't show up anymore.

PS: Site is down again... I hope you will fix it permanently soon... along with all the other bugs.
