I've made my set Public on the site (apart from 1 or 2 cards whose effects I'm working to replace). Now I just need to work out stories for the two Archetypes.

 

Also I'll probably have to buy a new headset if we are going to start using teamspeak as I incidentally crushed my old one.

For my cards, should I submit them as the whole set or split it into the two Archetypes? Also, would I have to put forward links for all of the cards or just the Monsters?

Are you asking about for the card spotlight or a question about the duel portal program itself? If you're talking about the card spotlight you should check back on page 89 or 90 for my post, all the info is there that you need to know.

I was asking about the spotlight, namely because the two Archetypes of my set are interconnected with many of the cards having effects that relate to both (of interest are the Spells and Traps).

I clicked to register, but when I click in the username, password and email fields anything I type doesn't show up. The little flashing line is there to show that I clicked the field, but it doesn't seem to respond to my typing. I am on Mac OS using Google Chrome (I don't know if that matters or not but I figure someone would ask about the OS and browser).

First off, thanks for the appreciation :). Second off, I sent you a PM concerning your creation with all the details you need to know and what have you. Third off, I'll consider making a thread separately that could potentially attract more users to Duel Portal, thanks for the idea.

 

P.S: I'd also like everyone to know that there will potentially not be an archetype spotlight today since it is the 4th of July.

 

Also @Sea you should make it mandatory that cards made public MUST have images. If it's made public then it should be publicly presentable. We don't want cards without images floating around in the public, makes it look a bit tacky.

I've made an account (no-one online, really?) and tried adding some cards. No images were kept, so I have a bunch of cards with white pictures. 

Yeah, that's an unfortunate loop that the site has gotten into: nobody has been on in a while, and because of that nobody really comes on that regularly.

 

In terms of images, sometimes the site won't register new or changed images for a little while. Just keep checking the next few times you log on.

I could probably put up the Xyz cards from my Railroading Set for single spotlights, since they do stand a little apart from the rest of the Set and are the only ones with definite backstories.

I'm having a problem with the loading cards/images box. It usually never finishes loading, gets an error, or if it does load, it doesn't actually load the cards when I try to open up one of my Decks or go to the Duel section. Forgetting about the site and going back to it didn't help.

Card Spotlights will only be on Mondays. (Archetype Spotlights still on fridays), I'm doing this because there aren't any single card spotlights being sent in. So, I'll do them once a week instead of twice.

You could probably get a few more Singles if you bent the rules to allow cards from Archetypes so long as they are fairly unique. (i.e. Extra Deck monsters, poster child cards like Elemental Hero Neos, etc.)

In the deck screen, how do you load a saved deck again? Its been a while. Also I get the message "error getting news" on that screen too.

 

edit: after reopening my browser, I get this error:

edit2: I can get around the log in error if I use fire fox instead, but I still can't load decks

 

edit3: I tried to log in with IE again and it worked, weird.
