Yugioh Virtual Dueling. Pretty much another sim to play YGO, but it has the added ability to create your own custom cards if you know the proper formatting.

Sounds interesting, while I'm waiting for the bugs to be cleared out I'd like to try it, do you have a link to were I can download it?

The code shown after you press "Generate!" is the same code that YVD uses, except for the Card ID number.

 

Using YVD would be a good Idea while I work on fixing stuff ^_^

 

Also, I think your opponent needs the same code in their file too for it to work.

I have to report a few problems about DP:

1st - about submitting. Altough there's a button for submitting via YCM (that would save me lots of time) the card's URL is required. And the problem is this one, since when I normally create new cards the only URL avaiable is the card maker one. So, if I am the one mistaken here, I want to know where can I find YCM card URL's, thanks.

2nd - I can't connect to lobby. it says 'Couldn't connect to the server for some reason', do you have any idea about why does this happen?

 

That's it. In any case, I really appreciate your DP idea, since I ever wanted to try out my own cards on a real game (and altough YVD can be filled with custom cards, it'd be difficult to find another opponent with custom cards as well). Good luck with the fixes.

I think somne of my cards got deleted on DJx00. All of my decks were glitching yesterday.

 

Sorry, I'm in the middle of migrating to the TCG.

 

So all you people who passed around 'Staples' sets via the Share Card functions, i'm going to consolidate you all into using the same Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, etc. And I'm going to delete the duplicates. You won't need to share the staples any more.

 

That's probably why it's glitching. Will be fixed soon.

Now that there is a Staples list, there are a few cards I want to suggest to have added to it.

 

  • Lavalval Chain
  • Number 50: Black Corn
  • Ally of Justice Catastor
  • Number 61: Volcasaurus
  • Tiras, Keeper of Genesis
  • Thunder King Rai-Oh
  • Forbidden Lance
  • Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
  • Black Rose Dragon
  • Ghostrick Alucard
  • Foolish Burial

There's probably a lot more (like Big Eye and Dracossack for Rank 7s, Bounzer for Rank 6s, etc.), but I don't want to overwhelm anyone with a f*ckhuge list.

 

 

EDIT: Forgot about Foolish Burial. Probably because the Deck I use run 2-3 Archetype-Specific versions of it.

Cards from archetypes like Ghostrick Alucard you shoule upload for yourself since others may not want them cluttering their card pool but for the rest of the cards I generally agree with them.

Alucard has generic requirements and has an amazing anti-facedown effect, so that's why I included it in the list.

Zenmai and leviair should be top priority though. Then the djinns, Fortunetune, Angineer, then Alucard and Leviathan. Rank 4 should be utopia, corn, shock master, maestroke, emeral, and chain. Rank 5 is Tiras and Volca. Rank 6 PSB and Gauntlet. Rank 7 is the big 3. Rank 8 is Felgrand. even this are a bit unnecessary imo. Also, don't forget synchros if you decided to include generic Xyzs.

I don't think Melo should make it though. :/, Fortunetune We already have Zenmaines which is a lot like this, but I honestly forgot about the newest Rank 3s., Angineer See the second half of #49. Maybe the first half too., then Alucard and Leviathan. Which reminds me, I have a Level 2 TGU in "KONAMI" for some odd reason that I should get rid of.

 

Except for Alucard which we seem to still be on the fence about. Fine. I'll just use the one in the "KONAMI" Set.

 

I'll give it a while before divulging into the "KONAMI" Set to see what else should get added.
