seattleite
Donald P Jacobs wait might need to ignore me, i have a mac, does it work on mac? This version does not. However, the online version may be usable on macs.
Shinobi Phoenix
This version does not. However, the online version may be usable on macs. As long as it's a Silverlight capable browser right? So on a Mac, as long as it's an Intel based Mac (not PowerPC), his options are Firefox (3 and up) and normal Safari. I would say IE for Mac, but that "joke" stopped a long time ago, didn't it? So Safari should work fine to run the online version of Duel Portal. @seattleite -- You are obviously writing it on Silverlight 5 right? Not that 4 should be a problem either but still. It's in Silverlight 4 actually. And yes only some browsers will work with it, but Firefox and Chrome both will work. Supporting that "embrace, extend, exterminate" practice that Microsoft loves to attempt, right? *joke*

seattleite
Hey everyone, important update: Duel Portal (the desktop version) will be defunct in a few hours after this message. This is to make the adjustments necessary for Duel Portal Online. Reasons why it will be defunct: * The "Tier" system in Duel Portal Online will be removed, and the desktop version will be checking for that, so it will give you errors* You will only load cards you've created, unless they've been "shared" among users. That will mean images and many other things will no longer work.* The Lobby server isn't taking any new registrations, so for all these reasons, the desktop is dead. But the online version is on its way :) @ImperiumDictatum - I shrunk the screens a little, we will have to see it that helps.

Until the online is up since he needs to shut it down to work on the online version. It's like you didn't even read a post on the same page and surely he put that on the first post on the thread. Right now, no one can post cards, register and I would doubt even play (or shouldn't play anyway since it would hurt the Online Version testing). Sleepy
It might be a good chance to ask. I've always been curious about this program.Soooo... it's point is to download custom-made cards from this section into it and play with them, sort of similarly to Dueling Network, right? I tried downloading it a long time ago but I suck at downloadable programs about card games...*shrugs*If I remember correctly, the downloadable version could only hold a very minimum amount of users at a time. Will keep an eye here because it sounds amazing =D

CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
Been awhile since i last post on this thread. As i see the desktop version is dead while the online version is on its way soon. I only hope that the list of cards are archived as i would want to dig up my cards that been revised or not been archived on lccg forum yet. Unless i can still find them on DPadmin that is. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Huh, it looks like we gotta upload all of the real Yugioh cards (such as Monster Reborn, Heavy Storm, Warning, etc) if we weren't the one to put it in the first DP. Being able to skip over the silly drug-filled archetypes made by other members is nice and all, but if only we could have a section for actual YGO cards... Just me being whiny over having to upload cards that I used to just look up, but it'd be nice, albeit it sounds like a boring task.

That's possible, we just have to think of the best way to implement it. We could have them see some TCG "staples" as soon as they enter the Deck Editor, but the question becomes whether we want everyone to run the TCG's limited cards and not make their own. Or I guess one member could make some TCG cards under a set name, then share that with new members. Those are two options but I don't know what is the best solution. Alright so I have been waiting for my Verification code to be sent to me for the past hour and nothing has shown up..... What is going on? Don't know, I'll PM you the code.
