Maybe not. If it's a real "online" version, the basic things that you would need are probably Java and Adobe Flash, if at all.

It's going to be in Silverlight, which is like the microsoft version of flash. I think most computers already have the plugin, though.

One feature I might suggest is a server deck save, instead of having it be only for 1 computer. Just a suggestion.

That will certainly be added.

Could someone do me a favor and see if my cards are still on the server purely out of interest

Username is ZacktheFlash? Yes they're here.

OH, Silverlight? Well, if that is the case, would it be possible to run Duel Portal from a tablet? (not just the Surface either), but I mean iPad or Android tablet?

For me for example: Could I run Duel Portal from Firefox or Chrome's tablet browser, essentially giving me an option to play from anywhere with a WiFi connection? Or if running from my phone, I could possibly play from it since I'm always on my 4G LTE connection and unlimited data goes a long way when bored.

Unfortunately no, the only mobile device silverlight will work with is Windows Phone.

Even then, I don't have one or know anyone who has one, so I don't know if it will be 100% compatible.

Sounds great. :)

How many weeks/months till it's officially out?

Also, will there be a feature that allows you to make your own custom Ban lists?

We were thinking of having an option which allows you to submit a card as limited or semi-limited, etc.. but if we're ever going to have tournaments, to make it fair, the banlists will have to be "assigned" to each user by someone else.

It's difficult to say when it will officially be out. I still have to find a good server, then do some testing on that.

Well what I meant when I said making custom banned lists was that like cards you could make your own and it would get saved into the data base for everyone to use. Then at any point in time you and others would just check the lists of banned lists and check one that you wanted to use at that time.

It doesn't really work, because when you make a card, you would only take into consideration real cards and your own cards, you wouldn't consider how OPed it would be when used in combination with other cards.

You say "we", you got someone else working on this or is it a 1 man project?

Well I am the only programmer atm, but Twaon has been managing the pool and collaborating with me on ideas.

Rather than have banlists for specific cards, it'll be best to simply have the host review each decklist. Eventually, each player will have a bunch of approved decklists. That's the only real way to keep balance.

That is a good idea. I've got it set up already for the banlists for specific cards, but if that doesn't work well then we can try your idea.

The online version would only load cards you made, initially. So those banlists wouldn't be much use to other players.

Was i ignored? I can't seem to know why, my

Having all this, well has to be some fun catch, where you would have limted card uploading/ card adding from card search. Where they would have to dual or play tornaments to give such and such prize/ able to action.

What do you think?

words should be ignored.

BTW, there's also going to be fixes on the image uploader right? Or...am I just doing something wrong?

What are you using to upload your images? If card maker, well cark maker is broken on it's own, so I don't think that I can help you there, if you use Yu-Gi-Co's editor, I might be able to help.

Right now I think we have enough space. One time I had to delete all the cards which hadn't been used in a duel in more than a month.... if space gets tight again, we might have to do that.

It makes me feel a bit more awesome somehow.. I just hope my decks don't become bottom tier xD

Better than top tier, that means they're Overpowered :)

Yeah, there will be fixes to that too. Why, are you having trouble with it too?

At least I see the image for Scourging Beast from the Mountains here....

I couldn't get War-Beast of "Alius", because files can't have quotes in them. This will also be fixed in the online version.
