No problem, I was suppose to get around to making another tutorial for image grabber anyways, you reminded me. (theres been like 3-4 different ways to go about doing it, its changed alot in the past lol, but this is the easiest way by far.)

I’m sorry to say this will be my last day of *actively* working on the Duel Portal. Other things have come up in my life and I’m too busy to manage it.

The program will still be up to anyone who wants to use it. Images are added automatically about noon, hopefully every day if my laptop’s on, and the front page has been edited on how to register your own name for the lobby, even though you can use a guest account. Twaon also has control of the card pool.

Last of all, thanks to everyone who supported this project and kicked me in the butt to fix the bugs ;) I hope people continue to use this for testing cards n' such when i'm gone.

I know jack about programming. Sorry. :/

That's fine, I posted before I find out that Twaon would be taking care of the card pool, which is, in an of itself half the program, when Sea left.

But I'm becoming increasingly better with programming; if there is ever anything wrong with the program, I may look into it if Sea isn't immediately available.

I'd love to see this game NOT die out. Its a really good program to use, so you guys should keep on playing and try to get even more people to play, to make the community to this game as active as possible :)

If we want that to happen, then we're gonna need a massive update to the banlist. As I was scouring the invision forum just now, I realized that the last entry about any kind of banlist fix was quite some time ago, and to my knowledge, the fixes have not been implemented yet. People keep making and keep making cards, but there is no system right now that can stop flooding of potential OTK cards or "If I play this I win" cards. I'll see if I can scrounge up some kind of system Sea used a really long time ago where we all pitched in to see what cards we want banned/limited/semi'd.

Of course, there are other things that need addressing as well, but this is just a small fix for the time being.

Right now there are currently 3,671 cards in the database. I have no current access to the ban/limit/semi-limit feature for I believe that has to be programmed in to the game itself or however it is that Sea managed that. But, as for the list itself to make, I think it'd be a lot easier if we choose a day to all get together and just go through the entire current card list to decide the ban/limit/semi-limited cards. And than from there it'll be a lot easier to manage the ban/limit/semi-limit list cause not that many cards get submitted per day and I always look to check the newly added cards each day(or rather each hour or so).

I think there should be a Traditional setting and a Standard setting when making a deck, that way only Traditional can face Traditional and Standard can face Standard. Traditional of course will allow you to put in the max of 3 banned/limited/ or semi-limited card so it basically takes off that restriction, and Standard makes it so you abide by the Current Banlist/Limited/and Semi-Limited when making a deck. I think thats what really keeps a lot of people from second guessing to actually try this program, is the fact that there is no absolute ban list or anything, so they think "I dont want to run in to stupid cards or cards like play this and you win". I think we'll be able to attract a lot more people to the program if we can get this right.<

I'd be very happy to help go through the cards and point out my opinion on some cards ive only dueled a few people on there but ive dueled some ridiculous archetypes xD Also im having a problem with the images (i dunno whether this is due to Sea not being on the project anymore or whether its within your power to fix twaon)

Have you checked out the tutorial on page 23? Also, it took around 2 days for my cards to upload, but make sure you're using the correct URL most of all. This is the video btw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vrfDMCQ1LM&feature=results_video

My Laptop died so i will have less time to work on my cards and so please don't delete them, i want to get this fixed! T_T

Don't worry, so far I haven't had to delete any cards. I mean sure some cards may be OP, but as long as it is appropriate and suitable text for eyes of all ages, I will not delete it.

I have a question:

It always says "Connecting..." every time I want to duel on Duel Portal. I checked the screen and It said to get your username registered, but I already registered a few pages back.

Have you tried to close the program than re-open it? (I too have to do this some times.)
