I am assuming Sea is going to update DP with Link format at some point in time, but other than that, it is working fine. (Least if the activity from those kids on Discord is anything to speak about)

Links are technically there, but with some modifications as to their function.

Why are you responding, I don't want information from you, why would you think that would be useful?

You wanted an answer about if DP is getting any progress; you got one.

Whatever I just said is from what I have access to on the Discord channel (which most of the DP playerbase uses; you realize this section has been dead most of the time lately, right?). Only thing that is certain is that Link format proper will be added, but no ETA (and that was back in mid-August). If you want to play Links, you can but will need to improvise.

Do not complain that I gave you an answer, and not Sea.

On another note, if any of you run into any problems on DP (card issues, members acting up, etc), then you had better say something. Most of the other guys who were chosen as DP mod do not come here.

It looks to be an isolated issue, because I know other users can access DP (self included because I'm checking it at the time of posting). You may wish to try again or if this error persists, then PM Sea about your problem as I cannot do anything about it.

I registered to the duel-portal 20 hours ago and it said "code sent" but still didn't get the verification code. Tried resending it but still nothing. I checked and I've given my e-mail address correctly. If someone can help thank you in advance.

If you used a non-Gmail address, then chances are that DP is blocked by that provider (and you'd require a manual activation). If you did go with Gmail and still have this problem, you should PM Sea directly.

Thank you for your quick respond ^^ I used a gmail address so I'll PM him then.

EDIT: Contacted him and the problem was solved by manual verification thank you ^^

@here It looks like the email system is down. For those who are waiting for email verification, you can now login without it. This is just temporary until the email is fixed, so don't put in fake emails if you're registering for the first time.

So yeah, quoting this from the DP chat because the majority of players apparently are there now. Just register as usual and then log in. Sea is looking into the matter right now.

I do wish he gave updates here too, since we do have a fair number of members here who still use DP and are not members of this Discord.

so i just signed up and it every time i open duel portal it keeps giving me this message:

"Disconnected from server. Trying to reconnect"

I heard the same thing on the DP Discord lately, so appears that it is a recurring issue that needs Sea to fix it.

(I do have the server reset password that Sea gave me and the other DP mods [who are generally not here on YCM for varying reasons], but doesn't work)

Not that this isn't 4-5 days late or something, however for those of you out of the loop with current DP affairs from not being on the Discord, Links and Master Rule 4 are now available.

(You just need to append /beta to the end of the regular URL to get version 3 with Links/MR4; otherwise you get 2.11 which is still ARC-V and MR3.)

Links are still editable on the regular version, but you cannot set the Arrows or Rating. All of your cards and stuff still carry over on the beta; just that you can properly make Links in the submit tab and use them properly.

For those of you asking "Sakura, why are you posting this and not Sea himself", I queried him on the Discord to say something here since not all of you are on the server where updates are given.

HUZZAH IT IS HAPPENING! I am contemplating whether or not I should upload all my Link Monsters and other cards that use the Extra Monster Zone. Also, nice to see that Cyberse is now on the type chart, and that you can paste card names as well, very nice.

Well, uploaded all my Archetypes to there, not sure if I'll do all the single cards I have made since then, since this took a good part of my day. Below is the ones I uploaded in case anyone wants to play with them.

I decided to upload my single cards as well. I am doing them in reverse order and only a few at a time, as this is going to take a while, so having the newest first is going to make it faster, as the older ones are going to need to be updated, since they may not even work, as I was still learning how the new rules worked at that time, as well as the way the PSCT works for them. Below are the cards I have done so far, as said, it reverse order from most recent to least recent.

So, Duel Portal won't send me the confirmation code when making a new account, and apparently I tried to make an account with my other email but the system keeps hitting an error when sending the email. So now I have two accounts and can't use either of them. Halp?

The email system has been shot for a while. You should be able to log in regularly without the activation code for the time being.

Sea is currently looking into the matter, but we don't have an ETA on when it'll be fixed.

Most I can do is just ping @@seattleite to manually do something (either use this mention tag or on Discord).

As I mentioned, you shouldn't need a validation code at the moment; just register and log in (unless something changed). Did you at least get a confirmation email?

When I registered, I never got a confirmation email. Refreshed several times and waited around 10 minutes with nothing. I was able to log in after registering though.

Like I mentioned, the validation thing's been disabled and you no longer need a code to enter. Just log in and you can play around; if it still fails, then yeah, get Sea to look it over.

Though, as a note for any new users to DP, make sure you add /beta at the end of the URL if you want to play Link format. Otherwise, it defaults to Master Rule 3 / ARC-V. You can find this as an announcement at the top of the section too (though I did mention it a few posts up).

I think this is a continuing issue with updating in general from what I'm aware of (for everyone).
