So, apparently, I need to install silverlight.. BUT WAIT, I cannot install silverlight, because the same version is already installed. I can't figure this one out for the life of me. I have gotten onto the site numerous times before with no trouble at all.

1. Are you using Hotmail? For some reason, DP emails never get through to their servers.

If that's so, consider switching to Gmail; it works.

 

2. If you're using Gmail already (or another working email provider), have you checked your spam messages?

The problem is getting them all up. Sea is one dude vs the plenty of us that upload cards that fit to a specific niche. It usually doesn't take that long tho to do just a few cards for a specific Deck to test out, so I've learned to work with it.

oh! then is it not implanted yet?! - because he can't, or it is not worth it currently - whether it is because the time that has to be spent on it isn't worth the final result, or there are other issues that make it not such a viable thing to do.

Is that really such a chore to upload Konami cards? I even find some *tiny* joy doing that, given that you decide the picture etc. It is not that bad, go do it.

Its not like you have to upload hundreds of cards now, no. Just 10 or so, usually less.

Agreed. Also, directed towards Rividium, you should understand that, unlike DP, Dueling Network was created and continues to be managed by a multitude of people, by earning a PROFIT. Duel Portal is created and still managed by a single individual, who kindly offered to continue supporting and improving DP for FREE. To have that much of an initiative, and provide under a decent sum of pressure while the servers were down by re-building the servers from scratch, demonstrated more than enough. Be realistic here, he's given us something great for zilch, which in itself is a gift. Constructive criticism is always nice to have, but be sure it's realistic, otherwise it comes off as "This should be DN in order to be better".

 

Edit: Also, if you want to upload cards for your deck that are Konami official, you can always go to the Wiki, take the image, paste the text, then upload it under KONAMI tag as a Public card. Sea doesn't have the time to upload thousands upon thousands of cards.

Like the EVO set was a burden to DP because it was a whole CCG in one Set, DP is going to suffer greatly if we go and add stuff like Basic Insect and Liquid Beast to the database. The actual card game has a bunch of stuff we don't need to have added here ever, and then a lot of stuff that would only be useful in seriously niche situations. I don't mind TT or Fire Fist Gorilla (just examples), but please don't go around adding cards just because they exist.

Okay yeah just realized that it's a bad idea for Sea to add all the original cards.

Also I'm just suggesting things: I know Sea doesn't instantly implement them.

This is true. A few of us also asked for the reveal Extra Deck option as well (Since Dawn of the Gods is seeing more play and is becoming a hassle to banish the entire Extra Deck), so these 2 are ideas that should be on the table. That being said, server stability should be priority 1, although it seems to be getting better slowly but surely.

IMO the only thing that needs to be added right now (except for fixing important bugs) is better display, which in turn brings in HD card images. (You guys ever seen the card images that are displayed in deck editor and on the right of the screen and everywhere else? Even when I upload a perfectly HD card, it gets messed up. Real bad. That's not fun. If I don't want card images I could just go on DN and proxy, but I do. And here they're pixelated and low quality, which will be fixed if he changes the display and adds support for better card images.)

 

If that gets implemented I'm gonna be happy and love DN forever and ever.

technically I think you meant DP but the sentence held true nonetheless. 

 

High resolution images would be nice, but that means storing far, far, far more data on the servers > which, with the current pace of card uploading - might be something the servers can't handle now, or won't be able to handle in the future. 

I'm was just thinking why it isn't so now, and that pretty much was my first clue. Obviously pixelated cards weren't a design choice.
