This is awesome!
Gonna make my Team Fortress 2 archetype.
Also, I'm gonna add every anime card from the original anime, but not the OP ones. And I'll nerf some. This lets me duel people/my friends with anime character decks which is fun.

Love this site!

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Dang how I hate the card image on the right in deck editor and everywhere else being miniature. Please make it as big as the card images in DN. :(

Also, when I upload a card image it makes it extremely small, blurry and pixelated. Please fix the images.

So a series of glitches from a few of us:

Marco & I: Whenever we tried to duel, we would be disconnected from the server. Literally said "Disconnected from server" (This also happened to YugsterMajor)

Batmed: Whenever he tried to host, it said his Deck didn't have 40 cards, when it certainly did

[spoiler Bat also got this when he tried to update his Deck]

Myself: While not a huge issue, whenever I save the Deck, it gives me 7-8 different pop ups with the same thing. Also I get an error sometimes when my opponent Special Summons a monster from their Graveyard

I really think we should use the Dueling Network format. Design the field and deck editor just like in Dueling Network... also make the card images show up on the side as BIG and don't make them be miniature and pixelated.

Just remember that it takes up a TON of space to host all of those larger images on the site in massive quantities, so I think it's best to prevent that. However, if there was coding to forward the URL of the image to a different hosting site (Imgur, for example), then I'm certain it would be plausible. Working out the bugs and glitches is top priority however, which the site DCing me and others after attempting to start a duel is pretty huge. Sea, are you aware of this?

We NEED the format better. Sure, fix the bugs first, but don't forget to improve the ugly format.

I disagree. It seems perfectly functional as of currently and I actually despise the Dueling Network format.

 

Thus, changing the interface is largely opinion.

The UI is actually MUCH easier on the eyes than DN. The only thing is it would be cool if there were larger card-arts off to the side, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I think just overall it needs to be made a little more user-friendly. If I may make one suggestion: displaying the card's ATK/DEF below it on the field would be really helpful.

A question I had been meaning to ask, is, what happens if there are "card clashes"?

Or would it simply be up to "majority basis aka discussion" or "first come first serve"?

(Clashes either in the form of card name and/or effect..mostly meaning about names though.)

Otherwise uhm..I'm not sure if I should be asking this here, but can cards be "taken down" or whatever if they have no and/or similar images (because a bunch of my cards have similar images, welp)

 

In addition to what Sakura said, this only matters for public cards. You can name your private cards whatever you want, if it's a problem.

 

Glad to see that it's up again. One thing I noticed is that making custom Sub-Types could be an issue in case you want to make Extra Deck monsters. How does it know that they are suppose to be put in the Extra Deck?

 

I just uploaded a bunch of cards that I made from the point of it being down to now. You can find random cards I made under the RAND tag.

 

I also put up my Archetypes I made, Gambleruption, Decay Dragon, Glowing Skies and Leviafish, all of which are tagged with the appropriate name.

 

I guess you can make it an Xyz, give it another custom type and say something like "This belongs in the extra deck"

 

So, I just wanted to say that

What's going to happen to the banlist?

The server has been changed a ton. Don't know how to explain it without throwing in a bunch of techno-lingo. How specific do you want me to be? ;)

 

Other than that, I finally got rid of the blank space in the lobby, fixed problems with the images being cached, and made it so you can join a duel room while the duelers are siding for a match.

I can't access my account because I gave the site a made-up email to register myself fast. I can't verify it because

a)it probably doesn't exist

b)if it does I have no access to it

c)I don't even remember what I made up.

so when i put in my verification code for my email it didn't work and now i can't even try to put it in

Well now we have worse problems to worry about. DP literally when I try to log in doesn't showing the loading at all, it just sits there, and eventually gives "Disconnected from Server"

 

It works fine for me. Sometimes you have to refresh the page and try to login again. Did you?

Gonna quickly jump in on TheVinceKnight's comment; I'm having a similar issue. Would Hotmail's junk filter automatically deny any messages by DP's mailing server? I've been unable to get the Verification message all day, in either my Junk or my Inbox.

Did you check your settings for Hotmail?

But you shouldn't have them blocked.

 

Although I use Gmail for DP things, so can't really help you there.

I've scoured through, tampered with or otherwise altered the lot, but had no luck. I'll give it a crack with my Gmail account and see if that changes anything.

 

EDIT: Gmail worked! Thanks for that!
