This album came last year and i didn't notice but this album is MUCH WORSE than st.anger ohhh metallica you dudes where great but now It sucks loool!!!!!

OT: Metallica is great, what are you on? They've been around since 1970 (IIRC) and ever since then, they have put out some amazing albums, like the Black Album, ...And Justice for All, and Re-Load. My personal exceptions on this, however, are Load (that album was horrendous in it's own right, as it was too soft for my tastes). Their new album may not exactly have the same flare as the old Metallica albums, but you still have to admit that they at least tried.

ok i don't hate metallica i love there old albums but are you sure that this ulbum is a Lou Reed album because i went to the metallum and it says 100% metallica material

Yes your right they did tried but look this album might cost then more than 50 thousand so they should have canceld but that's how it is.

Whether they tried or not, the album does honestly sound terrible, how hard they tried doesn't have any affect on whether you like it or not.

As already stated, this isn't a Metallica album. It more of a collaborative album by Lou Reed and Metallica. Reed wrote most of the lyrics and he's the main singer on the album, just with backing vocals from Hetfield and the instrumentals are also by Metallica. So...it [i]is [/i]more of a Lou Reed album then a Metallica album. Metallica is currently on new material and a tenth album which I don't think has a release date yet.

Also, the name [i]Lulu[/i] comes from a series of plays written by German playwright Frank Wedekind.

as for the album itself, I only heard a 30 second preview of one of the songs on the album and I didn't like it so I haven't even gave the album a listen (and I don't plan too). From what I hear, one song is pretty good, but I don't feel like listening to it.
