Okay, this is going to take some time. Let me get done to business and see what I can do for you.
First Image: I never liked that render because it is so strict with placement that you have to have it in the right place to make it look good at all. What is that star thing in the corner of the image, too? I don't like it. It is far too distracting from what the render/focal point, which is bad for anything you are trying to do. A pure-black background doesn't work since it is the only thing in the background. The foreground is spammed with fractals which is only a thing to do if the fractals are subtle or aren't clustered around the image. I don't like the fractal you used to much. It is too sharp imo and just is unappealing. Also use some layer masks to play around with specific parts of a fractal. The outer glow matches the render too much and stands out only at the spots that are fractal-heavy. Create an atmosphere where it looks vibrant and everything blends together. Where you cannot tell a fractal from a brush.
Second Image: The render looks a little stretched out or rather squished together. The background has no design to it where flow is towards the render, not all around and you cannot decide where to look. Tone down your fractal use and everything where you don't depend on them too much, except only to add a kick to your image. You spammed them also directly on the render itself which should never truly happen. The brush thing right behind the mage's staff is the only thing that looks good in the image. And that doesn't look too good.
More to be later, this took 20+ minutes.

Thanks for the Help, these were done pretty much blindly so I had no idea what I was doing; I just wanted to get started and see what fitted well together and now that I know what doesn't work and what does I'm going to focus more on them and I look forward to your other reviews.

I have these fractal packs.

You really do like fractals, don't ya? 0.o

I like picture 4 & 5.
With 4, I think the saturation and hues are just right and colour scheme flows well. The dotted pattern is distracting but I like it.

With 5, I love the vibrance, especially from the sword. the backdrop behind the creature works well too, with bright light behind it, and purples to the left, the blueish-purple part almost connects with the sword, making it look like its just absorbed a soul or something.

I also like how picture 3 focuses the eye to the tip of the sword.

I'd say some of the others have slightly compromised render quality, too many fractals, perhaps too much saturation and contrast, which makes the overall image look a little tacky.

Just my opinion ofc. Rarity knows all the technicalities about making an image synergise, but I'm not completely clueless.

Since Daemon already covered 1 & 2...

3 - The fractals are everywhere and are too bright taking away from the focal. There is no flow and there are to many colors so it looks extremely messy. Try not to let black be a dominant color in your CIs, it takes up a lot of space on this one and wouldn't look too good on a card anyways. Don't like the over-contrast on this one too much either.

4- Would've been a bit better if you had tried to blended the image together, every layer sticks out on its own. The fractal in the background doesn't contribute much to the image and it looks dull and flat. Image is lacking a lot of depth, and the lighting is off where you put the fractals. Your focal should be the render as a whole and not the fractals or weapons.

5 - Fractals are all over the place here too. They don't contribute to the render's flow or lighting. It looks over-contrasted again, which isn't appealing to the eye. Blending could use work here too aswell as depth.

6 - Don't just leave the image with a G-Map and not do anything afterwards. The big yellow ball in the corner somewhat contributes the lighting but is too strong compared to the lighting on the render. Everything is more blended in on this on which looks pretty nice. The dark spot at the bottom and the other ball of light clash with each other.

Overall work on your blending, lighting, and fractal usage. Hope to see what you can make later though. ;)
