Discusss why or why dont you like it it. support your answer with viable reasons (IE: cause its not good, is not viable) Also what was you favorite character other than john carter) I liked this movie alot, because of awesome story develpoement, heavy plot twists, and solid characters. NumberCruncher Posted March 17, 2012 Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 Hearing that there's a John Carter movie in theaters is a bit like hearing there's going to be a remake of Citizen Kane. At first you're like, "Aw, dang! This is going to be epic!' Then you're like, "Aw, dang! They're going to screw this up big." Then you're like, "Still, I wonder what's going to be changed and how they'll incorporate certain elements, so you go anyway. After seeing the movie, I didn't think it was that bad. Most of the elements of the story still work and the ones that don't aren't that glaring. They didn't make too many changes from the classic tale, and the changes they made didn't leave gaping plot holes. All in all, I approve this movie. I know this isn't what the OP asked me to discuss, but I do think this is a story adaptation done right, which tends to be rare nowadays *glares at Lorax* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Star Wars, Star Trek, Battle Star Galactica, Avatar and millions upon millions of other sci-fi have rip off most of the elements from the story making this sci-fi adventure looks less than stellar.
