Mods should have to give a VALID reason for locking a thread.

I know most mods lock the thread for obvious reasons (they disobey the rules or are spam genoraters) but some threads are locked, and they dont have any replies... noone gets to tell the thread creators what they think.... and the mods provide no reason, they just up and lock the post. not right, especially when a thread dosent violate any rules.

this thread was NOT created to discredit mods.... mods are a very important and integral part of the forum... that said im just saying maybe PM the thread poster or something like that. So there not like "what the heck why is my thread locked".... this may be only me ..idk

Again, there usually is a reason, and it's usually pretty obvious. If you pointed out a thread specifically, we'd have a lot more to offer you in terms of answer.

My other thread is this part of the forum for one.....

NOTE: this is only a suggestion. PMing a reason really isnt that much of a chore for anyone....

i do realize that alot of locked posts were against rules.

Thnx for listning (my last comment on this thread)

Upon looking, I assume it was locked because you basically said that people shouldn't be able to say something is stupid while staying completely on topic otherwise( nothing wrong with that) or just flaming in general, which is already agaisnt the rules. You also said remove tenure for older members... But if they're within the rules, there's nothing wrong with it, as there's no way to "abuse" it.
